A/N: I am so sorry this isn't a new chapter here. I do have it half written, however there has been some complications in my personal life. I know, what is wrong with this drama queen now? My mother has been hospitalized. We knew it was pneumonia, however we didn't know the cause and the type of damage to her lungs was similar to that of Covid. While she tested negative for covid and they checked for antibodies, she still could have had covid a while ago and was asymptomatic and the antibodies she did have just wore off . Also the pneumonia is a very specific strain, thus it had taken several days to track down the antibiotics she needed and the damage she already had to her lungs has made things more difficult. She is starting to improve now and the doctors are hopeful they'll get her well enough to send her home by the end of the week. And then I will be busy taking care of her. I am sorry, I hope by next weekend I'll have the time and state of mind to get the next chapter finished. I really want to, as I had been enjoying getting back into writing.
PS: Please, despite what you may hear, and what this or that person says on social media, take covid seriously. My family and I had just shrugged it off as saying it was under control and it's not as dangerous as the media was letting on. We were wrong. We listened to the wrong people. Even if you don't have symptoms, you can still get damage long term it seems. You don't want to be in a hospital playing a guessing game. I'm not saying you should get vacinated, that's your choice. But please consider wearing a mask. I hope I haven't offended anyone, I'm just trying to warn people so they don't end up in a bed like my mother is in now.
