A/N: Hey everyone! This is JLoBuizel and I'm back with another fanfiction! I know, it's been a really long time, but I've been struggling with sitting down and writing. I just haven't been feeling it.

So here's an update for those who's reading on the fanfiction site; I graduated from Army Basic Combat Training on August 5th, and then I graduated from Advanced Individual Training for Field Artillery on September 16th, and I arrived at my duty station the day after.

And now I'm here at my unit, at Fort Stewart Georgia, doing Field Artillery stuff :3

Anyways so for this fiction, long story short, it's the reboot for MetaMon. It's been months since I worked on it, since I couldn't actually do it during training. So since then, I've changed a lot of things and decided that it needed a full on reboot. So, here it is…

In the beginning, there was nothing… nothing but an empty void. No life… no stars… no light… just an infinite, black void.

In the beginning, there was one being… Omnes Videntes… The All Seeing…

In the beginning… there was an explosion… an explosion of celestial matter… more powerful than the mortal mind can comprehend.

This Creation Entity, Omnes Videntes, released its own celestial matter into the empty void, and upon combustion, created the universe. Becoming one with the universe, there were now stars, and light.

Then… there was another entity… a deity… born from the celestial matter from Omnes Videntes… In the beginning… there was Arceus.

With the celestial power from the creation entity, Arceus created The Creation Trio; Dialga, Palkia, and Giratina.

Together, the four created all of the elements and laws of physics, required to create a functioning universe.

With the pursuit of creation from Omnes Videntes, Arceus created a world. A world in which would inhabit his first living creations… Pokémon.

Arceus looked at them and said that they were good, and he proceeded to create a vast variety of different kinds of pokemon. All of them with different appearances, abilities, types, genders and personalities.

For centuries, Pokémon life thrived in this new world. Arceus, along with his new council of Legendaries, looked upon the life they had created, and said that it was good.

However, along the way of Arceus constantly creating more and more Pokémon, Arceus created humans. This new creation was much different and unique from Pokémon. It is unknown how exactly Arceus created them, but we know that it was unintentional.

Though it was unintentional, like all of Arceus's creations, he became attached to them. Therefore, he allowed them to thrive in this world as well.

However, to Arceus's surprise, humans quickly evolved and developed over time. They learned quickly, and adapted to their environments.

Unlike the rest of the Pokémon, humans began developing their own creations and technology. Throughout history, the human race quickly rose up in the food chain, and eventually became the dominant species.

Arceus did not expect this, and wasn't intending on creating a dominant species. However, humans and pokemon maintained a healthy relationship with each other, despite the power humans had.

Because of this, and Arceus's compassion, Arceus allowed them to grow and expand. Though Arceus was pleased, not everyone within the pantheon felt the same.

There was one legendary, who openly showed disdain for humans gaining dominance over the world. It's name was Darkrai.

Darkrai didn't agree with humans having control over the world, and saw the damage they were doing to their "Perfect World".

Arceus merely ignored him, as Arceus loved all of his creations.

This angered Darkrai, and eventually drove him to perform action. Darkrai plotted a scheme to weaken the humans, and give Pokémon dominance over the world once again.

However, Arceus and the other legendaries caught on to his scheme, and they stopped him. It was at this time that Arceus heard Darkrai out, but that didn't stop him from punishing him for his treason.

Arceus created another world, a parallel dimension to this world we know as Earth. This parallel dimension would be called "Paradisus", a world where only pokemon lived. No human life is to inhabit this world. Paradisus served as a failsafe, in case conflict were to ever break out between the humans and the pokemon. Or if the ever expanding human life were to permanently damage the earth.

As for Darkrai, as punishment for trying to sabotage Arceus's creation, Arceus casted him out into the Void. The Void is the space between worlds, being Earth and Paradisus.

There, Darkrai would spend his time plotting and scheming his return and vengeance.

In the present, humans and pokemon continue to work together, and live together. For centuries, they maintained a certain relationship, where humans would keep pokemon as their "pets", or battle partners.

However, where there is good… there is also evil…
