Adam walked into the room as he noticed Aisha standing in front of the mirror. He couldn't help but chuckle as he watched messing with the dress." Would you stop, you look amazing." He said as he walked up behind Aisha and wrapped his arms around. her large pregnant belly as he leans down and kisses her shoulder." You ready to go?" He asked as he rest his chin against her shoulder.
" Why are we going over to Kimberly's again?"
" Because like I told you before, she's got a surprise for you, and she swore me to secrecy." Adam responded as he kisses her cheek." We should get going, I promise Kimberly we will be there in an hour.
Aisha rolled her eyes as she slowly turned around in his arms and threw her arms around his neck." Yeah, I know. But are you sure you can't give me at least a little hint of what kind surprise it is?" She asked with a grin.
Adam chuckled softly as he gently kisses her nose." Nice try babe, but your just gonna have to find out as soon as we get there." He said as he leans down and kisses her quickly as he leads her out of the room.
Aisha rolled her eyes as she sighs." You're no fun."
Adam chuckled as he kisses her cheek as he helped her with her jacket." Trust me, your gonna love your surprise." He said as he placed his hand against her back and walked out of the house with her, heading towards their car.
" You do know, we should seriously consider getting a new car, you know one with a back seat." Aisha commented as they approached the Camero that Adam bought for them a few years ago.
" We can start looking for a new car next week." Adam said as he helped Aisha into the car. After he closed the door and once he got behind the wheel. He closed the car door and started the engine. Once he got his seat belt on and put the car into drive, Adam pulled out of the driveway and headed towards Kimberly's.
Kimberley and Trini was out in the back yard finishing up setting the table, Kimberly looked over at Trini." Did you call Adam yet?"
" Yeah, he said they are on their way. Aisha was taking forever because she didn't know what to wear and also because she's was trying to get Adam to tell her what her surprise is." Trini said with a giggle.
" Yeah, well she's gonna love it." Kimberley said with a smile.
" So... um did you tell Tommy about your run in with your ex?"
Kimberly looked over at Tommy for a moment who was standing with Jason by the grill." No, and I haven't even told him that he was working there either." Kimberly responded with a sigh. Kimberly knows she should tell Tommy about Adian and that he's working at the school, she just doesn't want to say anything until she finds out why her ex is in even in Angel Grove.
" Hey, Adam and Aisha just pulled up." Billy said as he walked out of the sliding back door before walking back into the kitchen and out into the living room, towards the front door to let them in.
Kimberly and Trini followed Billy out into the living room. As soon Billy opened the front door and let Adam and Aisha in. Both Kimberly and Trini shouted out surprise!.
Aisha gasps as she looked around the living room and noticed all the baby shower decorations." I can't believe you guys did this for me." She said as she looks over at Adam." So, this is the surprise you couldn't tell me huh?"
" Pretty much yeah." Adam said as he leans over and kisses her quickly. "Are you surprised?"
" Very surprised, but I love it, and I love that you two did this for me." Aisha said as she turned to her best friends. " You guys are like the bestest friends, a girl can ask for. Thank you." She said as she gave them both a hug.
" Well, you deserve it." Kimberly said as her and Trini let Aisha go." Come on the guys are already out in the back yard." She said as she grabs Aisha's hand and pul!ed her towards the back yard." Hey everyone, The guest of honor is here."
" Oh, good. Now we can eat." Zack responded with a goofy grin as he rubbed his hands together." Ow!" Zack flinched when Jason smacked him across the back of his head." What the hell, man?* He asked as he rubbed the back of his head.
" you seriously got no patience man." Jason said as he shook his head.
Zack shrugged his shoulders as he looks over at Aisha." Sorry." He said with a sheepishly smile.
Aisha just laughed and waved her hand." Don't worry about. When comes to food, Adam has no patients either." She said with a laugh as she looks over at Adam." Ain't that right honey?"
" Hey, I have plenty of patience when it comes to food." Adam answered innocently.
" Oh, sure you do honey." Aisha said with a snigger as she walked away from him and the guys, to join Kimberly and Trini over at the pool.
The baby shower had turned out great and Aisha was having fun being with her friends tonight. She even got everything she needed for her unborn daughter and so much more. Last week Adam called Kimberly and told her that they are expecting a girl. So the next day Kimberly and Trini went out baby shopping for their new baby niece. Tonight was everything Aisha wanted.
" Kim, thanks so much for all of this." Aisha said as she gave Kimberly a hug.
" Well, like I said. You deserved it. How you feeling?" Kimberly asked as she let Aisha go.
" Tired, So Adam and I are gonna head home."
Kimberly nods her head" I will call you tomorrow. Good night. " She said as she gave Aisha and Adam a friendly kiss on their cheeks as they were walking out of the front door. When everyone else got done helping with the clean up and left, Kimberly poured herself a glass of wine and joined Tommy on the couch.
" You know, what I was just thinking?" Tommy asked as Kimberly leans back against him and took a sip of her wine.
" What?"
" That we should have a baby."
Kimberly sat up straight as she turned to face him." Are you serious?"
" Yeah, Kimberly I love you more than anything, and what I want more then anything in this world, is to have a family with you." Tommy responded softly as he brushed her hair behind her ear." So, what you say? Want to try for a baby of our own?"
" Um... we've never really talked about having kids of our own before. We haven't even talked about our future yet, and now you want to have a baby?" Kimberly asked as she set her glass down .
" Well, that's why I am talking about it now. Are you saying that you don't like the idea?"
" No, of course not.All I am saying is that I don't think right now is the right time for us to start a family. Maybe in five or ten years yeah, but right now I am just not ready to be a mom yet. I hope you can understand."
Tommy nods his head." Of course, I understand." He said as he leans over and kisses her passionately and deeply to let her know that he fully and completely understands where she's coming from. He slowly pulled back as he rest his forehead against hers." Ready to go bed?"
" I wanna finish my wine. But I will be in there soon." Kimberly said as she kisses him quickly and reaches for her glass of wine.
After Tommy went to bed, Kimberly got up from the couch and walked over to the desk that she has in the corner of the living room. She pulled her cell out of her purse as she sat down and took another drink of her wine. Setting the glass down, Kimberly leans back against the chair as she found Aiden's number. Staring at the number of her ex for the past two minutes, Kimberly took a deep breath as she sent him a quick text.
Meet me tomorrow at the Angel Grove cafe.
" What time?
Eight in the morning, and Aiden don't make me wait either.
Once Kimberly saw the text was sent and after realizing that Aiden wasn't going to respond back right away. Kimberly finished her wine as she got up from the chair and headed into the kitchen. Just after she rinsed her glass out and set it on the side by the sink, She heard a text alert coming from her cell.
I will be there. Wanna tell me, why I'm meeting with you?
You know why.
Leaving Aiden with the last text, Kimberly shut her cell off for the night as she walked into the bedroom. Walking towards her side of the bed, Kimberly placed her cell down on her nightstand as she pulled back the covers and climbed into bed. Kimberly rolled over to her side and just laid there watching Tommy sleep. As much as Kimberly truly wants a family with him, she just can't right now. She owns Tommy the truth about the real reason why she isn't ready for a kid right now. But she can't tell him yet.
Few seconds later Kimberly took another deep breath and fell asleep.
