Nya winced as soon as she sat on the couch next to Lloyd, all of her muscles aching.

She remembered Kai and Jay being exhausted after unlocking their true potential, yes, but Jay had stopped a roller coaster and Kai had been in an exploding volcano. She had just made a big wave and was ready to never move again.

"You sore too?" Lloyd chuckled with a smirk, even though he was obviously exhausted even without him voicing it, and given the ice pack against his shoulder, she wasn't the only one who was sore.

"Did your true potential hurt this much?"

"Yes, yes it did," Kai spoke as he entered the room with three blankets draped over his shoulder, handing one to her and one to Lloyd before dropping the third on his cot in the room.

They had been put into groups of two inside the Ninjago Rescue Center while the Bounty was being repaired for the umpteenth time, and while Nya rolled her eyes at her brother as he pressed his hand against her forehead, she was grateful that her brother had arranged for the three of them to be together.

"Kai, I'm fine. Sore as all hell, but fine." Nya protested as he pulled his hand away. She did open her palm to accept the two ibuprofen though.

"Yeah, after the hell we've been through," Kai paused to press his hand against Lloyd's forehead, "you two are going to have to get over me being worried for awhile. Are you feeling okay, Lloyd? You feel a bit warm."

"Yeah, I'm fine," Lloyd insisted even when Nya raised her eyebrow at him, "I just fought a ghost in my body for weeks, it's expected for me to have a stress fever."

'Yeah, right. I won't be surprised if he gets worse tonight.' Nya thought to herself as Kai's face twisted in an unknown expression, even to her.

"You'll wake one of us up if you feel worse, right?" Lloyd hesitated for a moment, and Nya couldn't hold back her giggle as Kai's voice grew more serious, "Lloyd Montgomery-."

"Okay, I'll wake you up. Geez," he mumbled, taking the glass of water and the acetaminophen from Kai, downing the pills with ease, "but I'm fine. No need to use my full name."

"Get some sleep, you brats." Kai insisted with a large grin, clearly joking with the nickname, to which Nya snapped back with what she assumed was a smile just as wide.

"You too, hot head."

Kai just rolled his eyes before exiting the room, which allowed her to finally let out a laugh; however, it was stopped short when she saw Lloyd's face which still remained serious, but his eyes were also red and teary. "You okay?" She asked softly, keeping her voice down so she didn't alert her brother in the other room.

"Y-yeah," Lloyd stopped to wipe his tears against the robes he was wearing before offering Nya a smile that she knew wasn't genuine, "yeah, I'm fine. Promise."

Nya just offered him a smile back; she knew she wasn't going to get him to talk, no matter how stubborn the two of them were; not to mention, Kai would be back any second now with what she hoped were two more pillows and an extra cot so no one had to sleep on the couch and she was still extremely sore, wanting more then to sleep right then and there.

"You okay waiting for the third cot?" She asked, getting only a nod in response, and that was enough of a signal to take the pillow from Kai and drape the blanket over the second cot before settling in for the night, letting her eyes close instantly.
