Hello everyone! The Sassy Scorbunny is me and The Sassy Scorbunny is now posting the first bit of this story! This is just the prologue, told from Litten's perspective. Now, without further ado, let's take flight.
oOo
I was just walking around in the forest having a nice little stroll when I caught sight of something from behind some bushes.
I patted over and took a hesitant sniff, I pulled away at the smell of blood. I took a deep breath and slowly approached the fallen form laying on the ground. Once I got a better look, I let out a startled meow at what I saw, it was a Scorbunny, and it was laying in a pool of blood, I can't tell if it was it's own blood or the blood from another Pokémon.
I carefully and gently raised the injured Scorbunny onto my back, I then made my way back to camp where my Clanmate's were waiting for me.
My heart pounds in my chest. My breathing is heavy. My paws are moving quicker than a lightning bolt. It felt like hours but was no more then a few minutes for me to reach camp.
As I entered camp, I could feel the gazes of my Clanmate's burning into my pelt but I payed them no mind, my main focus was getting this Scorbunny some help and fast.
"Hay! Everyone! I need you all to get some herbs and berries, this Scorbunny is hurt badly. It needs help and fast!" I ordered with a sharp meow, and everyone scattered to find the requested items.
"Inferno!" I turned my head to see my best friend, a Quilava named Crimson, running towards me with a bundle of medicine herbs in her mouth. She set them down next to me, then Flurry, a Glaceon, who was like our mother/medicine Pokémon came over with berries and a pack of ice from her ice beam.
"StarClan, this poor Scorbunny looks in bad shape." Flurry says, staring down at the Pokémon who's normally white fur was stained with crimson blood.
"It has a fever! We need to get it down" I say, and Aquaria, the Dewott, comes over and she uses watter gun right on the Scorbunny's face. Coughing, and now conscious, the Scorbunny looks up at us threw fever-glazed eyes.
"W-who are y-you?" The Scorbunny says, looking up at me in particular. I stare back and suddenly the Scorbunny faints again and I let out a startled meow.
"Hay! Hay! Hay! Scorbunny! Scorbunny! Wake up!" I say, starting to panic slightly at the unconscious Scorbunny.
"Inferno, calm down, Scorbunny will be fine, she just needs to rest." Crimson says, staring at me with her calm gaze. I blinked and stared at her in shock.
"Wait, how do you know that Scorbunny is a girl?" I asked, and Crimson laughed quietly and grinned cheekily at me.
"Did you not here Scorbunny's voice?" Crimson said, laughing quietly at me and I gave a sheepish smile.
"Tee hee! I guess I didn't pay attention to that." I said, looking down at my paws in embarrassment.
"How long do you think it will take until she's fully recovered?" I ask, and Crimson frowns slightly. I sighed softly and looked back at Scorbunny.
"It will take a few days at most" Flurry says, joining the conversation. I look up at Flurry with wide eyes.
A few days later, I awoke to a whimpering sound. I yawned and turned to my left to see Scorbunny, who was curled up in a tight ball and her ears were twitching.
I quiatly patted over to Scorbunny and genly nudged her with a paw and her eyes shot open and she leapt to her feet. I yelped and jumped backwards as she scanned her surroundings.
"Hay! Hay! Hay! Scorbunny, calm down your safe, nothing's going to hurt you" I say, causing the scared Scorbunny to turn to me with wide red-brown eyes.
"W-who are you? And where am I? And how do you know my name?" The Scorbunny asked, her voice filled with panic as she stared at me. I sighed softly and wrapped my tail over her shoulder as a sigh of comfort.
"I see that Scorbunny finally woke up." Came a voice from the entrance of the medicine den.
We both turned to see Flurry standing in the entrance with a bright smile on her face. I felt Scorbunny tense as she ducked and attempted to hide behind me.
"I see you've been keeping our little guest company. You've always been a kind one Litten." Flurry said, smiling fondly at me as Scorbunny pocked her head out from behind me, as she stared up at the Glaceon.
"How are you feeling young Scorbunny?" Flurry asked, smiling warmly at Scorbunny, who looked down at her feet shyly.
"It's alright, Flurry won't hurt you. She's just going to see if your injuries have healed properly" I gently explained to Scorbunny, as she looked up at me fearful eyes.
"I feel fine" Scorbunny quiatly replied, as she looked up at Flurry, who was removing the bandage that was around Scorbunny's head.
"Ouch" Scorbunny muttered, wincing slightly as Flurry placed a paw on the wound. I looked over at Scorbunny, who was rubbing her head with a paw.
"At least it's healing properly, it will still be tender and sore for a few days, so don't go playing to roughly okay?" Flurry said, and Scorbunny nodded and stared at me with excitement shining in her eyes.
"Can me and Litten go outside? I want to get some fresh air" Scorbunny says, bouncing up and with excitement and Flurry nodded with an amused smile on her face.
"Yay! C'mon Litten let's go! Let's go! Let's go!" Scorbunny yelled, racing off before I could reply. Laughing quietly to myself, I ran after the hyper and energetic Scorbunny.
"StarClan where did she go?" I whispered to myself, as I looked around for the white and red bunny.
"Boo!" A sudden voice from behind me shouted, and I leapt backwards with a startled meow. Scorbunny was right behind me with a cheeky grin on her face. I smiled brightly and tapped her ears with one of my paws, causing her to hiss like a cat, which startled me.
"Tag! Your it! Try to keep up!" Scorbunny shouts, as ahe tapped me on the shoulder and ran away so fast that a cloud of dust was left, I coughed and pawed at the dust that clouded my vision.
"Oh yeah, I'm gonna get you!" I called, running after the speedy and mischievous Scorbunny. And StarClan she is fast! I wasn't kidding. The faster she ran, heat formed underneath of her feet.
