Escape To MoonClan
As they kept on walking to the borders of MoonClan territory, Stormpaw sighed and leaned up against Spottedpaw. She wanted some of her warmth. There's a heavy wind. It comes through strong, even with the trees. Stormpaw can't imagine what it's like for HeatherClan. But they have to keep moving.
When they finally reached the borders of MoonClan's territory, the small group of cats all stopped and opened there jaws to scent the area. They didn't want to be attacked by any MoonClan cats or any other Clan cats for that matter, they just wanted to find a safe place to stay. "Nightsong, are you sure this is a good idea? We are going to be in so much trouble if we get caught by a MoonClan patrol." Stormpaw meowed, staring up at her mentor with nervous amber eyes. Nightsong was about to open her mouth to say something, but someone else beet her to it. "What do we do if MoonClan's leader doesn't let us stay?" Spottedpaw meowed, staring nervously up at Nightsong, who just flicked her tail and gave a soft sigh.
"I don't know, Spottedpaw. I really don't know. I just hope Shatteredstar will let us stay, if she doesn't, then we must ask one of the other Clan's." Nightsong meowed, flicking her tail and staring into the thicket of dark trees. "Will we have to cross the Thunderpath to get to MoonClan's territory?" Stormpaw meowed, gulping nervously as she stared down at her paws. Nightsong nodded and brushed her tail over Stormpaw's shoulder comfortingly as they slowly made there way across the Thunderpath.
Once the group of cats had all safely crossed to the other side of the Thunderpath, the 8 of them slowly made there way through the gorse tunnel that served as the entrance to MoonClan's camp. But before they could take another pawstep forward, they were stopped by two MoonClan warriors. "Ha! What is a group of SnowClan cats doing on MoonClan territory?" A black she-cat hissed, her green eyes narrowing into slits as she flexed her claws, ready to fight if need be. "We want to speak with Shatteredstar." Stormpaw meowed, raising her head and staring directly at the black she-cat, who nodded, and lead the way to Shatteredstar den. Surprisingly, the older black and white molly was awake and was quietly talking with two other cats.
"Excuse me, Shatteredstar? I'm sorry to interrupt, but you have some visitors who wish to speak with you." The black she-cat meowed, ducking her head to Rosestar, who simply nodded her head. My eyes landed on the two other cats, one was a ginger-furred tomcat with wide emerald green eyes, and the other cat was a pretty dark tortoiseshell molly with kind amber eyes. "Thank you, Moonflower." Shatteredstar meowed, nodding her head to the black she-cat, who now had a name to match the face. Moonflower was a fitting name for her, it suited her well.
"Hello young ones, why have you come here?" Shatteredstar inquired, tilting her head to the side in curiosity and flicking her ears. "Well, you see... It's kind of a long story, Shatteredstar." Meowed Nightsong, digging her paws into the dirt and flicking her tail back and forth as she looked up at the MoonClan leader. "Go on, we have time." The MoonClan leader meowed, nodding her head for Nightsong to continue speaking.
The story took a few hours to tell and by the time Spottedleaf had finished explaining everything that had happened not only a few hours earlier, the BreezeClan leader's eyes narrowed into slits and she lashed her tail angrily.
"WHAT? Are you serious? Only the Clan leader has control over things like that!" Shatteredstar screached, digging her claws into the ground as she took a deep breath of air, after she had calmed down, Shatteredstar began to speak again. "Was Brightstar there when this was all taking place?" Shatteredstar asked, and they all shook there heads. Shatteredstar sighed and began to pace in circles, her tail still lashing and her forest green eyes were as cold as steel.
"All cats old enough to climb a tree, join beneath Highrock for a MoonClan meeting!" Came Shatteredstar's yowl from the Highrock, they all stood to there paws and made there way outside. "Noble cats of MoonClan, it has just been brought to my immediate attention that these poor SnowClan cats have left their Clan due to one of their apprentices being banished by SnowClan's deputy." Shatteredstar meowed, and yowls of outrage rang out and some of the MoonClan cats turned to stare at us with sympathetic gazes.
"Does Cinderfrost have bees in her brain?" Came the angry yowl of a a jet black she-cat. "Why in the name of StarClan would she banish a newly named apprentice?" Moonflower yowled, lashing her tail and narrowing her eyes. "Yes, our mother has bees in her brain." Mistyfeather mewed, hissing and lashing her tail. "She's a crazy and power-hungry she-cat who has a grudge against young Stormpaw, and for no apparent reason whatsoever. Stormpaw and her mentor, Nightsong, were both banished from SnowClan." Mistyfeather meowed, turning to look at both me and Nightsong as she spoke.
"Nightsong was MoonClan's only medicine cat, and Stormpaw is her apprentice." Rosepetal chimed in, flicking her tail at both Stormpaw and Nightsong. "Cinderfrost made a HUGE mistake, now they don't have a medicine cat to heal their wounds." Another MoonClan cat yowled, Stormpaw turned and stared at Nightsong with a horrified expression on her face, whoever that MoonClan cat was, they were right, SnowClan no longer has a medicine cat.
"These poor SnowClan cats have traveled for long enough, these cats will stay here in MoonClan where they will be safe and well cared for." Shatteredstar meowed, and all of the MoonClan cats began cheering in excitement and with those final words, Shatteredstar ended the meeting and leapt down from the Highrock.
