Disclaimer: I don't own Naruto

Warning Rated M for darker themes in later chapters. If you are a light hearted reader than don't read this

Hello everyone. I hope you won't mind how this chapter plays out because I am trying to stay as realistic with the way everything works within the Naruto universe and not introduce some weird overpowered cyber alien bullshit like Boruto. Anyways hope you enjoy the next chapter.

It has been a week since Naruto sibling zoned Hanabi and she has been searching almost nonstop for a way to make him love her in a more intimate way. She was currently in the Konoha library looking at books explaining Jutsu, Battle Tactics, and Shinobi history.

'Theres gotta be something here that will help me out.' She accidentally knocked a few books off the shelf as she frantically searched. The action gained her attention and she went to pick up the book.

"The basics of Genjutsu."

Being a seven year old girl that belonged to a clan of Taijutsu specialists she had never heard the term before. She went over to a table and opened it up. She started to read aloud to herself.

"Genjutsu is the act of altering the way chakra flows to the brain. It can be used against it's targets to immobilize them in various ways, make them see life like illusions, cause false sensations of intense pain, and control a person's mind or actions."

Hanabi's eyes lit up in excitement. "That's just what I need to get Naruto to love me. I bet I can become a really strong ninja too."

Later on she had read through the entire book as the Hyuga clan had taught her to always be thorough in her studies.

"Everything in this book sounds really cool. This would be a really useful skill to master. Ok I've decided to learn Genjutsu." Excitement and joy coursed through her body and she raced out of the library without a second thought.

That missing second thought came to her as she was running though. "Who could teach me though? I better ask Lord Third, he knows everything."

Elsewhere Hiruzen Saratobi was in his office doing paperwork like always, a huge stack was piled on his desk while another pile half it's size was on the other side of the desk.

As he was doing that one of the Jonin in charge of helping around the place came in with another stack of paper where he set it down on the desk.

"Here are the village surveillance reports Lord Third." The Jonin said respectfully with a bow.

"Thankyou." Hiruzen said not bothering to look up from his work.

The Jonin left and Hiruzen continued to sign papers and occasionally stamp documents. A few minutes later his doors slammed open and a familiar youngster was at his desk seemingly excited.

"Lord Third I have to ask you something!"

Hiruzen looked down to see a young prodigious member of one of the most influential clans in the hidden leaf village. "Why if it isn't Little Hanabi Hyuga."

Hanabi pouted at the childish greeting. "I'm not little! Don't treat me like a child!"

Hiruzen let out a loud over the top old man laugh as he slapped his knee.

"Alright. Alright. What were you wondering about?"

Hanabi took a few seconds to compose herself and finally asked what she was wondering.

"Who's the best Genjutsu user around the village?"

Hiruzen adopted a thoughtful expression as a young looking woman with long black hair came to mind.

'No that can't be right. I know there's a better Genjutsu practitioner around somewhere.'

After more intense thinking it finally came to him.

"Well that would have to be Itachi Uchiha. He's not only the top Genjutsu user but one of the most talented Shinobi around outside of Master Jiraiya of course."

"Where can I find Itachi?" She further inquired.

"Well when he's actually in the village he's usually training in the forest outside of the Uchiha clan territory, but he spends a lot of time on missions." Hiruzen answered leaving no reason for Hanabi to stay any longer she raced out the door to find the Uchiha clan Forest.

The old man chuckled. "The energy and determination of the youth is quite fascinating. I wonder what she hopes to achieve." Hiruzen soon went back to his paperwork.

Later on Hanabi was roaming the forest using her Byakugan to search for Itachi.

"Where is he? I need to find him soon so I can ask him to train me."

As she was searching for Itachi her Byakugan finally picked up a life form and she raced over to the source of it.

She was getting closer and closer until a kunai was thrown in front of her feet forcing her to come to a stop.

"Just who might you be?" A calm but deep and threatening voice spoke up bringing her attention to a tall young man with long black hair.

"Hello nice to meet you. I'm Hanabi Hyuga." She greeted.

Itachi raised a brow in slight surprise but his calm facade never faltered. "Hyuga? What would a Hyuga clan member be doing out here?"

"The thing is... I want you to train me in the art of Genjutsu." She stated her purpose.

'Well I wasn't expecting that. Nobody has ever asked me to train them and I never had much interest in training other's. But then again, Sasuke's apparently too cool for his big brother now. I better test this girl though.'

An awkward silence filled the air as Hanabi looked at him waiting for a response.

"Alright I will train you but only if you pass my test."

"What kind of test?" Hanabi asked.

Itachi moved to the side revealing a large circular target on one of the trees.

"You must hit the center of the target with a kunai."

Hanabi scoffed at the simplicity of the test. What Shinobi can't do that?

Grabbing a kunai and preparing to throw it she lined up the kunai with the target and threw it.

"Looks like you missed." Itachi said in an observant and monotous tone.

Hanabi was shocked. This was basic training at her clan compound as it was anywhere. She could always land a perfect shot there.

Hanabi went to grab the kunai and threw again.

Hours Later

Hanabi was about ready to scream in frustration. She had missed every throw and much worse than that was that she couldn't understand why.

"Think of the events that have transpired. Have you noticed anything repetitive?"

Itachi's words seemed to confuse the young girl even more before she snapped in annoyance. "Well of course! I keep missing! Why does that matter?"

"Why have you been missing though? Give it some thought. Pay attention to what happens when you throw the kunai."

Hanabi went to grab the kunai again and as she had done many times before she threw it again. It landed just to the right of the center.

Taking a deep breath to calm herself she retrieved the kunai again and threw it once more.

This time it landed to the left of the center.

About ah hour later Hanabi was still missing every throw.

'When I throw the kunai it always seems to land near the center but always at a certain area. There does seem to be a pattern here.'

She once again grabbed the kunai and threw it. This time it landed right above the center.

'I think I've got the pattern down now. If I'm right then my kunai will have landed to the right of the center.'

Hanabi threw it again and her prediction came true.

'Alright I just need adjust my aim for this next throw.'

Grabbing the kunai for hopefully the last time she lined it up with the board. Adjusting her footing a little before finally letting the kunai free from her grasp.

A few seconds later Itachi spoke up.

"Well done. You finally hit the center."

"Wait really? So you'll teach me Genjutsu?"

Itachi approached her silently and when he was less than foot away he finally responded.

"You will be a fine student and when I'm done with you. An excellent Shinobi." He smiled proudly and ruffled her hair.

Hanabi smiled in contentment. 'Just you wait Naruto. One day I will have you thinking of nothing other than loving me unconditionally.'

The moon had risen and everyone was turning in for the night except for those on guard duty overnight.

"Your training will start tomorrow morning. Come back to this spot and find me. You better take this seriously or I will not train you." Itachi said before leaving to return to his family home.

Hanabi left the forest while thinking about what she would do next.

'I should surprise Naruto. My father won't care if I am home or not. No he has his precious heiress to fawn over now that I have pretty much been disgraced and deemed worthless by my clan.'

The next morning Naruto Uzumaki had slept peacefully in his bed. As he did that his alarm had rung stirring the newly appointed genin from his slumber.

Naruto felt something weird like a weight on his chest. He looked down to see a small lump in his sheets and lifted them off. What he saw could have given him a heart attack from shock.

Hanabi was snuggling up against his chest and purring in delight as she slept with a peaceful smile on her face.

"WHAT THE HELL HANABI?!"

He screamed in a panic. There was a girl in his bed. A real live girl. Even if he had a good relationship with her, Naruto has grown accustomed to being treated with hatred and resentment. He had grown used to being alone. He would never even be able to begin to comprehend what was happening right now.

Hanabi lifted her head up quickly in surprise looking around frantically before realizing there was no present threat. Her eyes gravitated towards Naruto.

"Good morning sweetie." She cooed affectionately as she went to place a loving kiss on his cheek.

Naruto rubbed his cheek while looking away. "Why are you in my bed Hanabi?"

"I was feeling lonely so I came to spend the night with someone I love." She replied while nuzzling into his neck.

'Hanabi is acting super weird... Uhh, don't I have something to do right now?'

A few seconds later it came to him and he jumped out of bed quickly reaching for his orange attire.

"Where are you going Naruto?" Hanabi asked with a confused and hurt expression.

"I have a mission with Sasuke and Sakura today. I have to get going now. I'll see ya later." He had gotten dressed and ran out the door.

"Oh wait. I gotta meet with my new Sensei anyways." Hanabi got out of bed and jumped out the window. She was still dressed in her usual attire so she didn't need to waste anytime.

She headed for the Uchiha Forest as fast as possible. 'I wonder what Master Itachi will teach me.' The thought brought her great excitement.

So there's chapter two. Itachi is about ten years older than Hanabi and I didn't want to change anyone's age especially our Hyuga protagonist. That being said I had to change events so the Uchiha slaughtering never happened because Hanabi would have been three at the age it happened and that's just not gonna work for this story, Itachi would have gone through with it anyways seeing it as being the ultimate necessity for peace and his brothers safety. I'm going to clarify that Hanabi genuinely loves Naruto immeasurably and it's not lust. Not yet. What kind of seven year old has those urges? But her love is misguided thanks to misinterpreting Natsu's advice she doesn't see anything wrong with the way she's going about things. Anyways that's all there is to it.
