Suspicious Suits Part II

Last time:

Humphrey wakes up at 6am on a Saturday for no fucking reason. He sits and thinks about the night before then remembers he met a hot but mysterious girl named Iris. Later that morning, Humphrey sits in his garage thinking about the car that shall not be revealed yet because... plot. Kate and Lilly pay him a visit because they have plot convenient information. Lilly explains how she spent a whole 3 hours of an evening just digging through her dead stepparents' stuff after two guys in edgy suits came over. Lilly and Kate piece together the most ridiculous and generic evil corporate global takeover scheme ever. The two sisters tell Humphrey about this plan and he thinks it's total bullshit, even though he came up with theories that were just as crazy as this before. The sisters chew him out because of this then they shake hands two seconds after. They joke about how insane this is and suggest telling the fucking CIA and FBI. Also, Lilly came 'this' close to saying the title of this story. The sisters fuck off without even saying goodbye to Humphrey, sad boi times.Later, the sisters get home and talk about how extraordinary their lives are. There, I said it myself. Two wolves in fashionable, and totally inconspicuous posh suits show up at the door. Kate let's them in as the wolves "claim" they're from Eve and Tony's company. God why did I think this pairing was okay? The suit wearing wolves then blatantly ask the sisters to hand super important business files and documents over to them. Lilly, like the sigma female she is, lies in their faces and continues to lying about not knowing shit about fuck, even though they know she's bullshitting them. Kate watches her younger sister be the bigger sister then pulls the: "two can play at that game" card and says these two wolves are sus for not giving proof they actually worked with their parents or what their names were. She goes and ruins the moment by saying the two mysterious visitors could've been spies (sucking all the fun out of the scene's dick). Someone knocks on the door during all this, who could it be?

20 minutes earlier

Humphrey's Residence

(Not so ordinary) Saturday 7:55am

Humphrey's P.O.V.

I scratch my head while thinking about what Kate and Lilly told me. We'll either die or go to jail for what we know. I pace back and forth in the garage until I just couldn't think anymore. I need to talk to Lilly and Kate again.

I look at the car (which shall not be revealed yet) covered in dusty sheets then shake my head. I open up the garage, grab my bicycle and ride out onto the the streets. While cycling down the road, I pass a carbon black Corvette C7. 'She definitely enjoys cruising around the area...'

Iris honks then drives towards me. I stop on the sidewalk and wait for her. The C7 pulls up beside me and I watch as the passenger's over tinted window slide open. "Well I'll be damned, you aren't stalking me, are you?" I ask. "Maybe." Iris replies with her mixed signal responses. I observe ver clothing and see she's wearing black latex leggings, red sneakers, a red shirt and a black unzipped leather jacket. "Nice threads." I compliment her. "I look better without them." Iris cracks another one of her questionable jokes. I don't react to this and keep a blank expression on my face. "Sorry, I had to make one more for the road."

"For the road? You going somewhere?" I ask Iris. She shakes her head. "Just an errand." She replies. "Oh, sorry to have kept you held up." I apologize even though I didn't need to. "No, I'm the one who stopped you. Do you often apologize for things that aren't your fault?" The dark wolf asks as a joke. "Meh, sometimes..." I respond honestly. "Oh God..." She facepalms. "I better get going, Humphrey. I'll be seeing you." She says then rolls up the window.

I wave goodbye as she makes a U-turn on the street and drives away. "Why am I so awkward around her?" I ask myself before cycling off to Kate and Lilly's house.

Kate's P.O.V.

I get up to see who's at the door but the suits stop me. "Don't open that door Katherine. We don't want anyone else getting involved in this-"

"What the... fuck?" Garth says as he enters the living room. "How did he get in here?" Lilly and the navy suit wearing wolf ask in unison. I hear the front door slowly being unlocked while this happens. "Hello?" Humphrey asks as he enters the house.

"You left one of the spare keys outside for Humphrey?" I ask Lilly. "You left the other one in the backyard for Garth so it's fair game." She tells me. "Uh... hello...?" Humphrey greets the visitors awkwardly. "Coyote?" Garth says. The visitors in suits seem irritated by Garth and Humphrey's presence. "Okay... we'll just come back another time."

"Even if you come back with proof, we won't believe you. It probably would've been forged evidence." Lilly tells them. "We were asking politely. Your future 'vistors' won't be as peaceful or forgiving to teens, especially the ones like you."

"Is that a threat?" Humphrey asks the wolves in suits. "It's a warning." The female wolf in the sienna coat answers. "And now that you two just strolled in, I guess atleast one of you has an idea of our business with the two girls. Unfortunately for you two, you're thrown right in the middle of this too." The wolf in the navy suit says as he looks at Garth and Humphrey. Humphrey already knows about this so he looks relatively calm about this. Garth however...

"What? I-I just came over to see my girlfriend. I don't know anything about this." Garth trembles in his words. This honestly wasn't a great look for him but I don't blame him. Maybe if I told him beforehand, he wouldn't have to take in all this crap at once and embarrass himself like this.

"How the hell are you so calm?" Garth asks Humphrey. He doesn't reply but simply scratches the back of his head. "The grey kid knows. Either he dug around himself or the sisters told him, obviously." The navy guy tells Garth. "But, I gotta hand it to you three, you lot don't crap yourselves under pressure... unlike the ginger over there." His partner says then they both stand up to take their leave. Garth looks at me then back at the visitors in classy attire.

"Oh right, you said you wanted proof you could trust us..." The coat wearing wolf says before tossing Lilly what looks like coin. "What-" Lilly starts but is cut off once again. "You'll know when it's your turn." The wolf tells us. The visitors pass a very confused Humphrey on the way out. Everyone stays quiet after the suits leave the house.

Garth is the first one to say something and he isn't passive about it. "What the fuck was that about and why are you involved?" He says and stomps towards Humphrey with obvious aggressive intentions. "Look, I'm confused too but-"

"Bullshit you're not confused for shit!" Garth exclaims as he grabs Humphrey by the collar of his autumn jacket. "Leave him alone." Lilly tells Garth but chose to ignore her. I stare at him in shock as he just ignores we're still in the same room. Humphrey shoves Garth away from him and straightens his jacket. "Don't ignore the lady." He says. The look Garth gives Humphrey rattles my bones.

"You three better give me a good explanation right now or I'm walking out that fucking door. Don't leave out one single dete." Garth tells us. Lilly shuts her eyes and opens mouth. "*inhales* Our parents had some notes and files lying around so Kate and I read through them and did more digging through their documents in the study and accidentally discovered CSE's plan for corporate world domination then told Humphrey about now just two suspicious suits showed up demanding all the files, documents and everything relating to the company and CS." Lilly says in one go then almost passes out.

"You didn't have to say it all in one sentence." I say to her. Garth blinks in confusion. "Does your parent's company know you have this? If that Swift company finds out-" Garth gets cut off by Humphrey. "Yeah, we know we're neck deep in shit." Humphrey tells him.

"We just don't have a plan right now so we're stuck." I tell Garth. He facepalms then walks to the door. "You're all insane. Sitting in a house and having no plan with knowledge that could get you killed is a recipe for getting put six feet in the soil of your own backyard." He tells us then leaves our house.

"Great... what now?" Lilly asks. "Garth bowed out but he had a point. We can't just wait around to get hunted down by some trillionnaire company now." I reply. "What can we do though? If we go the police, there's no good ending for us. We'll either just be ignored, get thrown into a jail cell or they might dig into it but them CS will probably find out that the info was leaked somehow and it probably would take them long to find out it was us." Humphrey explains.

"How-" Lilly barely says the first word of her sentence then Humphrey interrupts. "It's just my conspiracy theorist side talking." He answers. "So... long story short: we're still boned if we do anything?" I ask. Humphrey shrugs his shoulders as his response. "Damnit." Lilly and I curse in unison.

"I think it'd be best if we just continue like normal for now and wait for an opportunity." I state. "Continue like normal?" Lilly asks. "What opportunities?" Humphrey asks next. "Remember that CS is sponsoring our school from now on. Starting from next week we could start seeing the school getting stuff like new sportswear from that business and later, we could get a tour around one of CS's campuses."

"What does this have to do with our main problem right now?" Humphrey asks. "We could find and opening to expose the enterprise in some way. I don't know how but we need to use these opportunities." I tell him. "Dundun dun-dun, duuuun." Humphrey recreates some kind spy theme with noises. I tilt my head and raise an eyebrow. "Sorry, I saw the opportunity and I took it."

Garth: Blitz took the easy way out! That makes me your new leader! (grabs crown)

Humphrey: You do realize we're on the first floor... right?

Blazin' Blitz: (walks through front door)

Garth: (drops crown)

Blazin' Blitz: I hope there wasn't a coronation or something.

Humphrey: Coronation, Blitz? This is bad comedy!

Lilly: What have I missed?

Garth: Blitz tried committing human fall flat from the first floor.

Kate: Garth pulled a Starscream.

Lilly: I WANT A TRANSFORMERS FIC NOW!!!

Blazin' Blitz: Well... I have one chapter done... but...

Lilly: GIVE!!!

Garth: I'll give you this dick...
