A gigantic hound with glowing eyes appeared at the campsite. Bill Cipher summoned the creature, and the Marra looked at it with glee, except for Kelly.

"Whoa, you're not a crazy rumor after all. You're real!" Hilda said with excitement, and she's back in her human form.

"And also hungry," David said with fear while pulling Hilda away as the creature advanced to them. He turned to Bill. "You know, being evil is known to cause bad karma for people like you."

"I think you misunderstand me, Davey. I'm not evil, I'm a liberator. It's just that I do the things I did because I wanted to free this dimension from its restraints. Order is just boring, but chaos... that's where the fun is," Bill explained.

"And you call destroying your own dimension fun? The dimension you and Dad came from?!" Hilda asked in disgust.

"It's not my fault everyone there was flat all the time, including my parents. To think my son still lived a boring life after he escaped, marrying Johanna and having you. I wish I could have raised you instead. You had potential, and you were raised to forget about it, forget the powers that you had inside of you this whole time. And that same goes to your half-sister over there. It doesn't matter now because when I unleash Weirdmageddon..."

While Bill monologued, Hilda drew from her sketchbook, and a big log appeared from it to fly on his direction. He dodged that, and he used his telekinesis to stop her from advancing towards him. In fact, he grabbed her through the neck from thin air.

"You sly dog! You got me monologuing! I can't believe it!" Bill chuckled as he slams his blue-haired granddaughter to the big rock nearby, and he floated near her. "Like father, like daughter. It's been a while since I tossed Normie like that for ruining my fun back at home," he uses his power to lift her in the air and slam her to a tree. "He was indeed useless, let alone being a clone."

Hilda, Frida, and David were shocked from this statement, especially the last word.

"Dad was a... clone?" Hilda asked in surprise.

"Yes, he was. I created him to be my vessel, should anything happen to me. I gave him everything, including my powers, and yet he chose to be an individual of his own. He chose to have feelings. He used the gifts I gave him to bring order instead of chaos. He became more like my parents more than me. In other words, I created a party pooper! A PARTY POOPER! CAN YOU BELIEVE THAT?!" Bill ranted, then he calmed down, focusing on his granddaughters. "Now, I'm going to make you two, his offspring, suffer. I offered you freedom and fun, and you spat in my face."

With a snap of his fingers, the Black Hound turned to the three kids. While they try to move backwards from it, Frida bumped into Kelly, her so-called friend.

"Well, Kelly, what are you going to do about her?" Bill asked the latter as if he's threatening her. In fact, he still has her mother hostage. With no other choice, she grabbed the girl by her two arms.

"Last to join, first to get eaten," Kelly said as she tossed Frida in front of the beast, though the latter isn't surprised by this move.

"Ahahahaha! Much better, Kelly. Much better," Bill applauded. "Come along if you want to see your mommy again."

The blonde Marra reluctantly approached the other Marras. She looked at Frida with a hint of regret in her eyes as she only did what she did because Bill is blackmailing her by using her mother's life. At the same time, Hilda struggled with Twintail who was able to restrain her before tossing her aside to the ground with the beast nearby.

"Bye bye, kids. Have fun with my pet. HAHAHAHAHAHA!" Bill cackled before teleporting away from the forest with his Marra minions.

"Frida!" Hilda cried as the Black Hound advances towards her sister. It started sniffing her, but Hilda pulled her away as they started running with David following them. "Run!"

The chase took them to a portion of the forest with the hound behind them.

"You know, all he wants is something to eat," Hilda said.

"No kidding," David said next.

"So let's feed him."

"Feed him what? Please don't say us."

"This!"

Grabbing a bag of Jorts from her bag, Hilda opened it with her mouth before tossing it near the Black Hound, who proceeded to go after it. What a nice distraction, that is.

"Come on!" she exclaimed as she ran with Frida and David following her. They came across a familiar authority figure, who shined her flashlight in front of them.

"Hilda? David! And who's that? Frida?" Raven Leader took notice.

"It's... It's the Black Hound! He... He's here and he's huge! He tried to eat us," David explained.

"What?"

"But he's eating my snacks instead, so everything's fine," Hilda said in reassurance.

"For now," Frida knew that distraction will not last, and she's right when they hear the hound howling in the darkness.

"We need to get everyone out of here, immediately!" Raven Leader said as she directed the kids to the campsite.

In the campsite, the alarm blared, courtesy of Raven Leader who rolled a handle.

"Attention, Sparrow Scouts, due to an unexpected, um, wildlife situation, we are breaking camp early, but we will do so in a calm, orderly fashion," she explained, wanting the departure to be as calm as possible. Unfortunately, thanks to the Black Hound's howl being heard in the darkness, that won't be possible. The campers panicked and tried to leave as fast as they can. "Remember, you should be packing, not panicking."

Inside a tent, David tried to pack up his sleeping bag inside his bag, but due to how big it is, it's not possible. Frida entered with a guilt expression on her face. She couldn't help but blame herself for getting her friend in danger because she didn't tell him of her undercover plan. What's more is that she has become a Marra, the very creature that gave David his nightmares.

"Here, let me help you," Frida attempted to help him pack up his sleeping bag.

"I got it," David said in refusal of her help, not wanting her pity. He's indeed mad at her for not only keeping him in the dark of her undercover plan, but also becoming the creature who gave him his nightmares. Though his worry were at ease when he saw her standing up against Bill, making him realize that not all Marra are evil.

"You were right, you know."

"About what?"

"About my new so-called, huh, friends. Even though I was just pretending to be friends with them," Frida said with guilt before noticing David trying to pack up his sleeping bag, but he couldn't do so. "Oh, for goodness sake, will you just let me help?"

"Fine," David had no choice but to accept her help.

"Hold the end like that," Frida said as they rolled the bag well enough for it to fit in his bag. "I... I wish I could have spoken up to those Marra the way you did, though I waited for the right time to do so."

"Oh, yeah, that felt pretty good until we almost got eaten by a giant hound. Oh, learning that you were also a part of the Cipher family, not just Hilda really did surprise me. Since you were born from her dad, that means you have powers as well. That would make you two sisters. Now I understand why Bill was after you both, even breaking your friendship with her apart by using the incident with your book."

"I'm sorry. I've been acting like an idiot. I didn't tell you because of what Bill, my grandfather, might do to you if he found out that I was just pretending to hang out with Kelly to get to him."

"How will he find out?" David asked.

"From how powerful he is, I think he has the power to read minds," Frida made a good guess.

"Right..."

Before the two could say more, Hilda tossed her bag between them.

"Finish packing this, please? I'll be right back," she said.

"What?" Frida said in confusion.

"Where are you going?" David asked.

"I've got to find Tontu. I can't leave him out there with the Black Hound or my grandfather. He could get eaten," Hilda said with worry.

"I'm so out of the loop," Frida said with a hand on her face. Even "Uh, who's Tontu?"

"I'll explain later."

As Hilda went out the tent, she attempted to ran in the forest for Tontu.

"Hilda! What on earth are you doing? You will stay here and pack up your gear this instant, or you will not be allowed to come on future camping trips," Raven Leader said like a strict authority figure.

With no choice, Hilda went back to the campsite with dismay on her face.

As the campers are ready to go home, Hilda and Frida talked about how awkward it is that they're family.

"Mum's here," Hilda said, and she waved a hand.

"My parents don't know I'm out here," Frida said meekly. "Uh, could you give me a lift?"

"Of course."

Frida smiled at Hilda gratefully as she's glad to have her back. Being sisters might not be so bad after all. In fact, it felt good and heartwarming at the same time.

While driving to Frida's house, Hilda told her mother about what happened tonight. They encountered Bill again, and she was right about what she told her before that not everyone deserves to be saved, let alone a grandfather who was heartless to begin with. On the top of that, she told her that Frida is her half-sister from her dad and a dyad witch. Speaking of her dad, she revealed that he was a clone that Bill created. Johanna was indeed surprised to learn about her husband's nature, but despite this, her love for him remained. It didn't matter to her that Norman was an energy being and a clone. He was her husband forever, even in death. As for Frida being a child from his one-night stand with a witch prior to their marriage, Johanna welcomed her to the family.

"Ah, I'm just so relieved that everybody's safe," Johanna said with relief.

"Not everybody," Hilda said with worry regarding Tontu.

"What?"

"Nothing."

"Oh, I'm sure they'll catch that thing soon. A creature that big shouldn't be too hard to find, right?"

"Right."

"I know you're disappointed about not getting the camping badge, but don't worry. You've earned plenty of other badges this year."

"Huh?" Frida looked at Hilda, confused by how she's getting a lot of badges without her knowing it. Laughing sheepishly, the latter grabbed her sketchbook and pencil. "What are you doing?"

"Shh..." Hilda urges her sister to be quiet, making Frida nod while she starts to draw.

"All right, Frida, here we are," Johanna said with a smile as Hilda and Frida went out of the car for a conversation.

"This is Tontu," the former revealed her drawing.

"He's a Nisse?" the latter asked in recognition of the creature.

"Yes, and he was thrown out of his house by mistake."

"You're sure he didn't do something bad?"

"I'm sure. Trust me. He..."

"Hilda, I trust you," Frida interrupted her sister in reassurance.

"Okay," Hilda smiled. "So, does that mean you'll help me look for him?"

"Yes. I'm in. See you tomorrow?"

"See you tomorrow."

"Wait," Frida called for attention just as Hilda was about to take her leave. The latter stopped and turned to her. "Just to follow up on what your mum said about your badges, do you even have a single badge?"

"No," was her reply.

"Then I have the perfect plan to get you one."

Frida told Hilda about the plan to get her the fundraising badge. After this, they parted ways, but not before sharing a hug. A sisterly hug, that's what. As she went inside her house, Frida looked at her parents, who were already asleep. Despite knowing they weren't her real parents and didn't like the times they pressured her to be perfect, she was happy to be their child. Learning her true family tree was horrifying and awkward at the same time. The horrifying part was being related to Bill, and the awkward part was being related to Hilda. As she lies down in bed to sleep, she could only wonder how the next morning will go, but she knows that she won't be alone to face whatever Bill throws at her next.

Author's Note: Interesting chapter, right? It should be obvious that Bill doesn't see the evil in his actions. He has the TV Trope, Above Good and Evil. Oh, and it's revealed that his son Norman was a clone that he created and abused for becoming an individual of his own rather than being an obedient puppet to his will. I got this idea from the novelization of Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker in regards to Rey's father, who was the son of Emperor Palpatine, the person he was cloned from. A big screwed up family, am I right?

I'm sure you know by now that Hilda and the Mountain King will be available to watch in December 30 this year. And have you heard the news about the upcoming third season? It's the final season of this series.
