Danny Phantom meets The Zillas

Chapter 7: The Next Day

Serenity Zilla had just woken up, showered and is now working on getting ready for her day.

However, while it is common for her to be careful with her make up and outfits, today she wanted to look extra special.

The reason was obvious.

She was trying to impress a boy.

The blonde girl, dressed in her bathrobe and still with her face mask and hair in curlers, still hasn't decided yet.

"Hmm...now which of these outfits maximizes my aesthetic potential?..."Serenity said as she compared two outfits in her large mirror.

After ten more minutes of debating, she still hasn't decided but that is when her mother, Crystal, knocked on the door.

"Serenity, breakfast is ready..."The spiritualist said.

Her daughter sent an annoyed look.

"Mom...I'm getting dressed..."She said as she still compared her outfits.

"Just wanted to tell you..."Crystal said, used to this.

"Mom...which of these outfits do you think looks best to get a guys attention?..."Serenity asked as she compared the two outfits.

"I take it you met someone new?..."Crystal asked.

"Sort of..."Serenity said, being vague.

"Anyway, which of these do you think looks better?..."Serenity asked.

"Hmm...I'd go with the one on the left..."The mother pointed at it.

"The one on the right, it is...thanks, Mom..."Serenity said as she went to her closet to get dressed.

Elsewhere

Danny had just woken up, showered, got dressed and had a light breakfast that the motel had to offer.

His parents had left to town to get some parts to fix the RV, leaving him and Jazz free to do whatever they wanted.

"So, any plans today?..."Jazz asked as she was reading one of her books.

"Eh, I figure I'll just look around town...see the sights...not much else to do until it's time to go home..."Danny said with a shrug.

"Okay...I might try and go to the library later or something..."Jazz said, since she already saw the towns historical sights yesterday.

"Only you would go to a library during Spring Break..."Danny thought but held his tongue.

The ghost boy said nothing as he changed forms and then took off to find something to do in this quiet, quiet town.

A little later

Danny soon landed in the same park he was in yesterday, since he was already familiar here and figured a quick walk would be nice.

He looked around, enjoying the fact that he didn't have to deal with any ghost attacks or Dash's pestering, or being rejected by some A-List girl who thought he was a freak.

"Hey, look out..."Was heard.

Danny heard this and dodged when he saw a frisbee nearly hit him...and saw what looked to be a GIANT LZARD heading towards him.

"WHAT THE?!..."Danny exclaimed as he got defensive.

However, to his surprise, the lizard just went to get the frisbee and now had it in his mouth...like a dog.

"What?..."Danny asked, confused.

"Sorry about that..."Was heard.

Danny turned around and saw who tossed the frisbee.

It was that Willy kid from yesterday.

"Oh, it's you...Hey, Willy..."Danny said, being nice.

"Hi, Danny..."Willy said as he went to the big lizard.

"So...uh...who is this?..."Danny asked.

"This is Mosh, he's my pet komodo dragon...sorry if he startled you..."Willy apologized.

"You have a komodo dragon as a pet?..."Danny questioned.

"My parents idea...but don't worry..Mosh is every bit as nice and friendly as any cat or dog..."Willy said as he petted the lizard, who seemed happy.

"Well...I guess this isn't the weirdest thing I have ever seen..."Danny thought but once again, held his tongue.

"Well, he does seem friendly..."Danny said as he wondered if he could pet him or not.

Willy gave him permission and Mosh seemed okay with him being petted.

"Hey, you're right..."Danny said, surprised.

"Mosh seems to like you...he usually doesn't open up to strangers too quick..."Willy said.

"I'll take that as a compliment..."Danny said as he finished petting the big reptile.

"So, where are you heading?..."Willy asked, being curious.

"No clue, my parents are...off on their own, my sister went to the library and I'm just trying to enjoy some peace and quiet..."Danny said.

The younger boy raised a brow at that.

"Peace and quiet? Here? Doesn't he know that-..."Willy's thought were cut off when Mosh went to go chase a squirrel.

"Bad Mosh, no!..."Willy shouted as his pet didn't listen.

"I gotta go...nice talking to you, Danny..."Willy said as he went to go tame his pet.

Danny blinked when he saw this.

"A kid with a pet komodo dragon that's chasing a squirrel? It's still not the weirdest thing I have seen..."Danny thought as he shrugged.

He decided to walk out of the park and enjoy more of the town sights, but unknown to him, a pair of blue eyes had spotted him.

"There you are..."The person said with a smirk.

With Serenity Zilla

The rock star's daughter had been looking for her target and saw him exiting the park, unaware that he was being watched.

Serenity, now dressed in her new outfit that she spent all morning figuring out, smirked when she saw him.

"There you are..."Serenity said with a smirk as she decided to put her plan in action.

Now dressed in her new, alluring sleeveless pink top and jean skirt, complete with sun glasses and sandals, she went to his direction.

She saw him at the end of the street, waiting to cross it and she decided to make her move.

The blonde girl gracefully did her model-like walk in front of him once again, but he said nothing.

"Seriously?!..."She thought, eye twitching.

She took a deep breath and fake coughed to get him to look up.

"Oh... it's you.." He said, while on the inside, he frowned.

"Her again? What she doing here?..."He thought while the blonde girl merely had her hands behind her back, trying to look innocent.

"You know...I don't think I caught your name yesterday..."Serenity said, trying to be cute.

Danny was getting annoyed but responded.

"Danny Fenton..."He said.

"Serenity..."Serenity said as she held out her hand, expecting him to kiss it like most boys do.

Danny merely shook it, much to the spoiled girl's irritation.

"You're supposed to kiss it..." She said grumpily.

"And... why?..." Danny asked.

"What's with this girl? I mean, sure she's hot but what's her deal? She's not very approachable..."He thought while the spoiled girl decided to make matters clear.

"Do you even know who I am?..."Serenity asked, wanting to be sure.

"Um, no..."Danny said flatly while Serenity now sported an uppity look.

"I am the daughter of the famous Rock Zilla, ya know..."Serenity said.

Danny heard this and rolled his eyes.

"Yeah and I'm the son of Jennifer Garner..."Danny said sarcastically.

Serenity heard the sarcasm and frowned.

"It's true ya know!..."She insisted.

"Uh huh..." Danny went before looking away and before she could say anything, the boy merely walked passed her and tried to see if he could cross the street up ahead.

The blonde girl did not like this.

"What is this? No one ignores me..."Serenity said, not liking being brushed off.

It reminded her too much of what happened with Damien and she didn't want to go through that again.

She decided to up her game. She went to where he was and pulled out a copy of her phone number, the one she has pre-made whenever she comes across a boy she might fancy.

Right now, she's giving it to him.

"Alright...since you insist...here's my number..."Serenity said as she presented it to him.

Danny was surprised to see this.

"She's giving me her number? For what?..."Danny thought as he frowned as he recalled a similar time Paulina had given him her number, only for it to turn out to be a fake.

"This isn't one of those pranks where a girl gives a guy a fake phone number, is it?..."Danny said suspiciously and Serenity seemed shocked to hear that.

"What? No...it's real..."Serenity insisted as she even pulled out her phone.

"Call it and see for yourself..."Serenity insisted.

He chose not to. Instead, he tossed it away and just sent her a serious look, already having dealt with girls like before and not wanting to go through it again.

"Look, I don't know what you are doing...if you are trying to get some guy jealous or are doing some kind of dare, don't waste my time..."Danny said sternly.

Serenity seemed surprised by this sudden action.

"But I'm not-..."Serenity was cut off when the guy started speeding up.

"I gotta go, I have somewhere else to be..."Danny said as he crossed the street while Serenity had been shocked.

The blonde girl realized that he outright turned down her number and gritted her teeth as her face turned a new shade of red.

"Oh, it's on now!..."The blonde girl said, not liking that he wasn't taking her bait.

She didn't like the idea of being rejected, she's too unused to it. Well, she's not going to give up and let this go.

Oh no, not in the slightest.

Serenity Zilla was going to get Danny Fenton interested in her, one way or the other.
