Chapter 8: The Next Day Part 2
While Danny and Jazz were out enjoying their day, their parents had just gotten back and worked on the RV.
"That should do it..."Maddie said, pleased.
"Sweet, let's test her out, Baby Cakes..."Jack said with a grin.
"Sure, but we better do a full assault vehicle test, just to be sure the weapons system hadn't been affected..."Maddie said.
"On it, Baby..."Jack said as he ran to the driver's seat.
Uh oh.
Meanwhile
At The Zilla Mansion
Rock and Skunk were in the middle of trying to figure out Rock's new music video.
Unfortunately, the Rock Star was experiencing a creative block.
"I don't know Skunk...we've already done apocalyptic waste land, stranded on mars and even nuclear disaster. I wanna try something new..."Rock said as he racked his brain for a new idea.
"Rock, we always do the same kind of video...sure, some details change but you said you wanna be true to yourself..."Skunk reminded, recalling the last time his friend/boss tried to change his style.
"I know...and I am...but still...there's gotta be something we haven't tried yet?..."Rock said as he thought about it.
"How about a graveyard setting?..."Rock suggested.
"We used that for the "Death by Dirt" video...remember..."Skunk said.
The green haired rocker frowned as he tried to think harder.
"How about exploding landmines and firey explosions?..."Rock asked.
"Used it for the "Burning tongue" video back in the late 70s..."Skunk reminded and Rock grumbled.
"There's gotta be something..."Rock grumbled.
"Maybe a quick drive in the limo will help clear your head..."Skunk suggested.
Seeing no other idea, the rock star nodded.
"Okay...can't hurt..."Rock said as they went to do just that.
With Danny
The ghost boy couldn't believe this.
He was just trying to enjoy some sights, relish some peace and quiet but for some reason, that weird blonde girl wouldn't leave him alone.
She was following him and is still bugging him to get him to pay attention to her.
"Will you please leave?..."Danny said, annoyed.
"I don't think so...and I don't get why you WANT me to leave since my dad really is Rock Zilla!..."Serenity insisted.
Danny rolled his eyes.
"A hot blonde girl is following me around and I am not enjoying it...Irony..."He thought as he tried to think of a way to shake her off.
He suddenly got an idea as he turned around and pointed up ahead.
"Hey, is that Dumpty Humpty?!..."He exclaimed loudly.
"Dumpty Humpty?..."Serenity said as she turned around to look, only to see nothing.
"Huh? I don't see-..."She turned around and saw that her target was gone.
"Oh, where did he go now?..."Serenity said in frustration as she stomped her foot.
She stormed off, trying to find him since she wasn't done with him yet. Unknown to the blonde girl, Danny never left that spot.
He was just invisible.
"That's one way to make an exit..."He snickered.
He decided to stay like this until he was sure she was gone. However, he then noticed something up ahead that caught his attention.
It was a green limo that was driving recklessly and even hit some trash cans.
"Oh man..."Danny exclaimed, thinking that it was out of control.
He, still invisible, quickly flew towards it and used his powers to stop it in place. However, the people inside it hadn't been in danger...No, they were driving like that on purpose and the person inside went out to the sun roof and Danny gasped.
"Is that Rock Zilla?!..."Danny whispered in shock while the green haired rock star frowned.
"Hey, Skunk...what gives? We were just really rocking the road..."The rock star complained.
"Sorry about that, mate. I dunno why the limo stopped like that..."An aging British man said as he walked out.
Danny just remained invisible and staring wide eye at the rock star...and then processed what he just said.
"What...they were driving like that on purpose?..."Danny whispered.
"And I thought my dad was a lousy driver..."Danny thought.
No sooner than he said that, he saw his parents assault vehicle passing by in full speed, the red light flashing and the weapons being out, scaring the citizens.
Danny saw this and realized that either they found another ghost or most likely, they were testing it out. Either way, it's not pleasing the locals as he saw a squad car after his folks.
"Not again..."He muttered as he flew after them to make sure they didn't get into too much trouble.
However, Rock Zilla and Skunk just saw what looked like a high-tech RV driving recklessly and packed to the brim with weapons and the rock stars opinion was...predictable for him.
"AHHHHHOOOOOOOOOOO! Now that's what I call one sweet ride!..."Rock said, impressed.
"Someone is burning rubber..."Skunk commented as he saw them speeding and the cops after them.
"Follow them, Skunk. I gotta see that thing up close!..."Rock ordered his driver.
The roadie did as he was told and they went to do just that, however...Serenity, who couldn't find Danny, spotted her father and waved at him.
"Daddy...wait..."Serenity called. "I need you..."She said.
"Hey Princess...can it wait a minute...I totally gotta find the owners of that hardcore ride..."Rock said and Serenity pouted.
"Make it quick...I need you to meet a guy so he'll stop thinking I'm lying about being your daughter!..."Serenity said.
"Sure, Princess..now hop in..."Rock said as he let his daughter in the limo.
Soon, they were off to go follow that hardcore looking RV and meet the people who owned it.
With Danny
The ghost boy landed, changed forms and soon approached his parents who, once again, were stopped and were given a ticket by the cops.
Jazz was already there and covering her face at the whole thing. Danny sighed.
He waited until the cops and bystanders left to approach them.
"Mom? Dad? Again?..."Danny said, embarrassed.
"Hey, we had to test and see that the old RV was up and running..."Jack said as he looked at the ticket.
"Especially since we're going to have to spend the night there now that the motel is telling us to go...something about not appreciating the explosions that came when we were fixing up the RV..."Maddie said and Danny groaned.
"Great..."Danny said sarcastically, wondering what else could happen.
However, a green limo soon appeared before them and the Fenton's blinked at the sight of it.
"Wait...isn't that..."Danny's thoughts were cut off when he and his family saw who came out of it.
It was Rock Zilla, and behind him was Serenity, who was smirking now.
"IT'S ROCK ZILLA?!..."The Fenton parents exclaimed while Danny and Jazz's jaw dropped.
However, Danny's was because of who the rock star is with.
"Serenity..."Danny let out in disbelief.
