Rangers in Space
"Out of Nowhere Part I"

Marcus Johnson, the 16 year old adopted brother of TJ, snuck onto the shuttle, silently thanking Justin for his directions on exactly how to sneak onto the shuttle. He was rather glad he became friends with Justin when he did, or else he would have never gotten in this shuttle to go with his brother and his friends.

He had known that his brother, Justin and their friends were the Turbo Power Rangers since he had saw them morph once. He never told anyone though except for TJ and Justin, who were fine with it. Besides the younger boy though, he had yet to meet the green, yellow and pink ranger.

Marcus huddled in the corner where he couldn't be flung around when they take off and pulled his black jacket around himself, over his maroon shirt, and waited.

I curled up more as I felt the shuttle lifting off around him and into the atmosphere and the turbulence was there but it wasn't too bad thankfully and eventually I felt the shuttle stabilized. When it continued to be stabilized for a few moments, I stood up and made my way out of the stourage room. I moved down the corridor before coming upon the control room and could hear talking but the voices were muffled. I pressed closer to the door, trying to make out what they were saying. Of course with my luck, I must had hit something as I was suddenly tumbling through the doorway and sprawled out on my front with the wind knocked out of me.

"...Marcus?" I heard TJ speak after a moment of silence and i knew that he wasn't happy that I'm here from his tone of voice and I knew I was in trouble.

"Hey, TJ." I wheezed before I forced myself to stand, trying to catch my breath.

"What are you doing here? You're suppose to be back on Earth at home!"

"Erm...uh...funny story." I grinned sheepishly, rubbing the back of my neck, my short red hair moving slightly.

"TJ, who's this?" piped up a female voice, making me look over. I saw three other people in the room and a robot, the blond woman having be the one who spoke up. I noticed that the four Rangers had their clothes all dirted and ripped.

"Right. Guys, this is my adopted brother, Marcus." TJ stepped back beside me, a hand on my shoulder. "Marcus, that's Ashley, the one in the pink is Cassie and the guy's is Carlos."

"It's nice to meet you guys." I smiled at the three Rangers, my dark green eyes looking at them.

"Likewise." Cassie returned my smile.

"You never told us you had a brother." Carlos stated.

"I didn't know you had a brother." Carlos stated as he looked between TJ and I, trying to see the resemblance most likely.

"You guys probably never asked." I joked, making Ashley and Carlos crack a smile. I saw TJ turned back towards me, a stern lern coming upon his face and I quickly beat him to it. "TJ, don't. You might need my help."

"I don't mean this in a harsh way but no, we don't."

"But...TJ-"

The robot cut me off, speaking some type of gibberish.

"What's up, Alpha?" questioned Carlose as he and Ashley walked over to the robot but it just spoke another line of gibberish.

"Not feeling to well?" Ashley guessed and Alpha simply replied with a sneeze before speaking gibberish once more.

"Carlos, you better check him out." stated TJ, making Carlos nod and knelt down, his hands dissapearing behind Alpha. After a moment, he pulled out a circuit board, looking at it before sighing.

"His Speech Circuit board his history."

"Must had been damaged during the power chamber explosion." my brother concluded, making the rangers' mood become saddened. Then, the shuttle suddenly shuttered around them.

"What was that?" Ashley asked, looking worried before we made it to the window and looked out. What we saw was a larger blue ship that was heading straight towards the shuttle.

"That...doesn't look good." I couldn't help but mutter.

"It's going to hit us." Cassie stated and I felt TJ move back slight but I didn't turn to watch. All I could do is to stare at this massive ship in awe.

"This is the space shuttle." I heard TJ state over whatever communications he had. "Veer away, you're on a collision course-"

"Wait, wait. its...its opening up." True to Cassie's words, the front of the ship split open and spread out. A green beam shot out and came around the shuttle, making it turn around. "Its pulling us in."

"Who do you think it is?" asked Carlos.

"Looks like we're going to find out." TJ spoke and I couldn't help but swallow, nervousness starting to bubble up to the serface. I felt TJ's hand touch mind reassuringly before we were docked and trapped within the larger ship. "Lets go, guys."

We made our way out of the shuttle and onto the ship before making our way to the rather sleek hallway, peeking down both sides. We were being extremely cautious and I made sure to stick close behind TJ, making me be inbetween Carlos and Cassie. I had a feeling we were being watched and I hated it, it made me feel paranoid.

"Astro Megaship?" Cassie suddenly spoke, reading from a panel. We kept walking and went around the corner before stopping when we saw an opened door.

"Marc, stay with Alpha." TJ whispered to me. I opened my mouth to argue but decided against it, closing my mouth. I watched as he motioned the others to follow his lead, leaving me to stand beside Alpha, who was clearly afraid and trembling. He put a soothing hand on his shoulder plate and, after a few seconds, the others walked out of the room and we all moved on.

"Ashley, you, Carlos and Marcus check in there." TJ told the three of us before motioning to a doorway that lead to a room. The three of us walked into the said room but I stayed by the two as Ashley and Carlos looked around. I didn't know why, but I felt like we were trespassing and I didn't want to touch anything.

"Wow..." I heard Ashley say in awe. "Look! This machine...it makes any kind of food you want."

I looked over as she stood in front of the said thing, its door open and she held a thermose in her hand, making me shake my head.

"We can't find anyone." TJ said as he and Cassie walked up behind me.

"Okay, this is getting weird." I stated and I felt TJ giving me a pat on the back.

"Well, someone was here recently." Carlos spoke after I heard something land on the table, making us look over at him. "This food's still warm."

I glanced at the still warm food before quickly backtracking out the door with the others. We made out way down the hallway before we happened upon something that looked like a control room.

"This is amazing." Cassed walked into the room first, followed by the rest of us.

"This must be the ship's bridge." TJ guessed.

"Looks like it." I stated.

"Wow!" Ashley looked around, taking everything within the room in.

"So, where is everybody?" Cassie asked as I noted Carlos slipping into one of the comfortable looking chairs, making himself at home while looking at the displays and controls in front of him.

"I'm not sure." I responded. "Could be out on a mission or something."

"I don't get it." TJ huffed. "Somebody brought us here on purpose."

"Yeah, but why?" Ashily looked over some of the controls. "And who?"

"It could have been automatic. Like...we got into it's sensor's range and..." I paused. "...Yeah, probably not it."

"Careful, Alpha." TJ walked over to the robot as Alpha began to press some buttons on specific controls. "Do you know what you're doing."

Alpha only answered in his gibberish as Carlos stood up and walked around.

"Well, whatever you say I guess..."

A sudden sound caught our attention and we all looked over to find a monitor that had turned on and was showing what looked like Jupiter, its red spot on full display.

"It's incredible." I heard Carlos breathed in awe.

"Alpha, what planet is that?" TJ asked the robot and Alpha responded in gibberish again. "Maybe we can figure out where we are."

"TJ...I think that's Jupiter." I told him, making him look at me. "What? It has the red spot and everything."

TJ turned back to Alpha and I just shrugged and walked some ways away from the others and dug my hands into my pockets as I stared at some of the controls. I didn't know how long I stood there after Cassie and Carlos left to explore some more, staring down at the controls until the sound of the door hissing open caught my attention and I turned to look.

A red Power Ranger stood there in the doorway, frame tense, and I could just imagine what was going through his mind right now.

"Uh...hi." TJ took a step forward, doing his best to be as non-threatening as possible. "Uh, this...isn't what it must look like to you."

The Ranger began to back up as TK took another few steps forward, not saying a thing.

"We didn't come here by choice. Sorry if we startled you. Is this your ship?"

The Ranger suddenly looked down the hall, no doubt spotting Carlos and Cassie as they walked back towards the bridge, before pressong something to make the door start to close and bolted. TJ quickly jumped and rolled through just in time while Ashley and I quickly ran through the opened door and e gave chase. We saw a hatch close and we quickly ran over, opened it and made our way down the ladder.

"We have to find him." Carlos stated as we began to walk through the corridor.

"I don't think running after him was the best course of action." I admited.

"What else could we do? he ran off before he could listen to us."

I opened my mouth to say something but the Ranger suddenly stepped out in front of us before he began to attack. I quickly took a few steps back, not wanting to get in the middle of it since it seemed like I had a choice not to for now.

"Wait, we don't want to fight you." TJ tried to convince him. The ranger punched and kicked at them before Ashley tried to stop him by grabbing him from behind but he simply shrugged her off. He kicked and the other Rangers ducked before Cassie tried next, grabbing onto his arms.

That's when Alpha ran up to us, telling us something in giberish before the ship suddenly rcoked making us go stumbling into the wall. The Ranger took this time to run through an open doorway and closed the door behnd him just before the ship trembled once more. TJ got up and went to the door to try to force it open with no luck.

"Was that...I mean, that was a..." Cassie trailed off as we all stood.

"Red Ranger?" Carlos frowned as he looked at the rest of us.

"It looked like it." Ashley confirmed and matched Carlos' frown. "But why would he attack us?"

"This must be his ship." TJ finally realized.

"He must have thought we were enemies." I added, looking at them. "Somebody must be after him."

The ship rocked again and I quickly grabbed onto the closest person, which was Carlos, who almost fell to the ground.

"I'd say you're right." Ashley looked up at TJ.

"We gotta find another way." TJ started to walk down the hall, followed by Cassie and Ashley. When Carlos began to move, I realized that I was still gripping onto him and quickly let go, getting out a 'sorry' before scampering after the others, stumbling as another blast rocked the ship.

"Guys, the engine room." Cassie suddenly stated and I could hear sounds coming from the room as well as seeing flashes.

"Let's check it out." TJ stated before leading us over to the said room and TJ looked around before pointing at something. "It's that cable, it came unplugged! Come on!"

We climbed up a ladder and we held onto TJ as he leaned as far as he could over the railing, hands repeatingly closing as he tried to grab the freely moving cable. One he managed to grab a hold of it, he plugged it in after one try.

"Alpha, try the engines now." Carlos instructed and Alpha did what he was told. The orange light of the engine grew brighter and brighter as the whirling from the engine began to go back to how it sounded before. We helped TJ straighten up and we all went down the ladder.

Then, the ship suddenly lurched forward, causing all of us to fall down to the floor and the whole ship continued to shudder, as if we were scraping against something until it had finally stopped. I lied on my back for a few moments before climbing to my feet with the others. That's when the Ranger came to us.

"Who are you?" was the Ranger's first words to us.

"We're the Power Rangers." TJ answered.

"Power Rangers...?"

"From the planet Earth."

"Except for me." I stated before pointing to TJ. "I'm just his little brother who tagged along."

"Sensors indicate that Astronema's ship is landing." a female voice suddenly came through the room. The Ranger quickly ran out and we followed after him, using the elevator. "Astronema's forces are disembarking."

Quantrons." The ranger stated quietly.

"What's a...Quantron?" Ashley asked. Her question was answered as the screen lit up, showing silver beings getting ready.

"Believe me, we are the Power Rangers." TJ told the other Ranger. "Well...at least we were the Power Rangers. Believe me, it's a long story, but right now, We're on our way to Eltar to save Zordon."

The Ranger seemed to look over his shoulder towards us for a moment before looking forward again. "DECA, what's our status? Can we take off?"

"The Mega Accelerator is disabled. Launch is impossible." DECA reported. "Mega Lasers are also down. Megadecks five and six are on auxilary power. Quantrons are nearing attack position against the Megaship."

The Ranger slipped passed us and into the elevator. "Open the outer space hatch."

The door began to slide close but TJ quickly stopped it, forcing it open again. "We're coming with you."

The Earth Rangers all got into the elevator except for TJ, who was turning to me. "Marcus..."

"I know, gotta stay here because I can't fight worth shit." I sulked.

"We need someone to stay with Alpha, got nothing to do with you not being on par with us when it came to fighting." he ruffled my hair before stepping back into the elevator, letting the door close between us.

Alpha stepped up beside me, talking gibberish and i swore I understood him for a moment.

'Good luck, Rangers.'

In my head, I wished them good luck as well before we turned to the monitor to watch the fight.
