Hey everyone,
it's been a minute I know, just sort of fell out of writing when I got a new job at the beginning of my extended break. Now that everything is settled with me I do plan on writing again!
If anyone's got any ideas on a new, interesting story to write i'm all ears, I'm going to continue to write this story and another at the same time. I always find that I have these uninspiring stretches of writing where i get bored of the same story, so if I write two at the same time I can alternate between chapters and have different ideas for each.
More Life,
Harry was slightly more nervous for the last Quidditch game of the year compared to the other two. For this one, he knew it was going to be more of a spectacle. With more eyes on him based on his talent, the Flamels being in attendance, and especially Serana being there meant the stakes were higher. Discounting all of that, he wanted to go undefeated this school year, winning all three games against the other houses.
Ravenclaw had beaten Slytherin but lost to Hufflepuff, while Slytherin and Hufflepuff had yet to play. The teams were rather evenly matched this year, with Gryffindor being the best of the four. Harry took some pride in that, he knew he was being heavily scouted, but it made it all the better that his team was winning as well. He wanted his teammates to thrive, as well as him, not be the only one with a chance of success.
As soon as Harry got onto the field, his nerves and anxiety washed away, he was so focussed on the game, that it flew by, and when Harry took a second to settle on his broom, Gryffindor was up 350 points with a minute left to play. The game wasn't really close competitively, and made for a rather boring watch for certain, but that was fine with Harry as someone who was playing. As a player, you always wished for a blowout, controlled, easy win, while spectators wished for a last second golden snitch grab to win the game.
Since the game was so far gone for the Claws, Harry relaxed for a moment, taking in his surroundings. This was the last game of the year for him, he had the entire Hogwarts population sitting in the seats around him, his housemates cheering him on, Harry just took a moment to soak it in. He felt like a much different person from when he first came to Hogwarts to who he is now, he needed to adapt to the circumstances around him, and that made him feel different, whether that was a good or bad thing, he would need to be wary of in the future.
Looking around the stadium, Harry spotted the scouts, professors, and other official looking figures in one of the upper levels. There seemed to be more than last game, with more and more people coming to watch him play to see if his talent really lived up to all the hype he was gathering.
Putting it from his mind, Harry continued to look around, he easily spotted Victoria, Daphne, Tracey, Blaise, Susan, Hannah and Cedric sitting together, the surprising addition of Hermione Granger sitting next to Blaise was a welcome sight. It made Harry chuckle slightly, as Blaise acted on his crush on the curly headed Ravenclaw, she looked rather nervous as her body was curled into herself, but eyed the game with an intelligent intent. The others were all smiling and waving at him, and Harry waved back, grinning at his friends.
Lastly, Harry looked for the Flamels and Serana, it didn't take long as they were sat in an upper level by their lonesome. Nicolas and Perenelle sat above Serena and her two handmaids, he was surprised to see them, as he expected she may come alone, but behind Nicolas and Perenelle stood two other vampires, who were clearly guards for Serana. Harry's eyes widened, he had not expected that she needed guards, he expected that Regis forced them upon her, but they were here nonetheless.
Harry waved at the group, and the Flamels waved back easily, while Serana raised her hand slightly, with a small smile. He noticed that none of the others waved, which most likely meant they needed her permission to act in such a way, Vampire culture was very different then what he expected.
Turning back to the game, Harry tuned in just as Madam Hooch blew the final whistle, causing cheers for the Gryffindors and distraught for the claws. Harry quickly made his way to his teammates and congratulated them all on a good game. The celebrations were rather lax compared to before, as the game was not very close, but positive vibes were all around.
From there, it didn't take long for Harry to be showered and out of the change room, looking for his people. As he walked he was congratulated by multiple crowds who were heading back to the school, Harry greeted them with a smile and a thank you, it felt rather nice to be complimented like that, the fans recognizing his skill.
It took a few moments, when Sirius approached Harry, "Hey Pup," he said with a smile, "great game! You made it look easy."
Bringing his Uncle into a hug, Harry smiled at him, "Thanks Sirius, have you seen my friends?"
"Yep, Victoria told me to tell you that they will meet in your room after you finish with your teammates." Sirius replied. That made sense, no wonder he couldn't find them. "I also know that the Flamels are looking for you, you should have seen the woman they had sitting with them, she had security!"
Harry cast a silencing charm around them, "shh, Sirius, that was Serana, the Vampire Princess."
Sirius' eyes bulged out of his head, "you're kidding?" he said in disbelief, Harry shook his head, "no, when I met her, she asked if I would be able to show her around Hogwarts. I would like to introduce you, but she doesn't like meeting new people."
Sirius remained silent as his disbelief was clear, Harry clapped him on the shoulder, "I should go meet her, she probably hates waiting."
"I was supposed to bring you over to Cooper, but I can make an excuse. This is more important." Sirius responded, he brought Harry into another hug, "The Flamels are waiting by the pathway leading to the school. later Pup."
Sirius strode back towards the field, while Harry headed to where he said the Flamels and Serana were waiting. It didn't take long for Harry to spot them, as a bit of a crowd had surrounded the Flamels, people were asking questions, trying to get autographs and photos, while Perenelle and Nicolas reluctantly dealt with the chaos.
Standing off to the side, was Serana and her crew, the two guards carefully observing everyone around them, while Serana and her two handmaids spoke quietly. Harry swiftly made his way towards Serana, but was stopped by a guard. The man went to speak, when Serana ordered from behind him, "Relax, Damien, that's Harry."
The guard, Damien, let him pass, and Harry smiled charmingly at Serana. He leaned down to collect her hand to press a kiss to the back of it. "Lady Serana, thank you for coming, I hope you enjoyed the game."
Serana's beautiful face morphed into a happy smirk, "no need to be so formal, Harry, this is a far different environment then the ball."
"Well, my question still stands, did you enjoy the game?" Harry asked.
This time, Serana did smile, "I did, more than I expected I would. After Nicolas explained all of the rules I found it very enjoyable." she raised an eyebrow, "you are quite the player."
Harry nodded shyly, "Yes, well, my abilities help, my Father was known to be a very good player, I think I got my genes from him."
Serana blinked slowly, "is that not cheating? Should you really be playing?"
Harry shrugged, "there aren't any rules against it, I guess I'm setting the precedent." He then raised an eyebrow at her, "Regis told me to try and be normal, is this not normal?" he said with a chuckle.
Serana smirked, her smirk was something serious, it had a certain mystery about it, where you wanted to know what she was thinking, the small shift of her lips was so noticeable and so attractive, it made Harry want to touch them. "I don't think we can ever be normal Harry,"
"Yeah, that's something I'm still coming to terms with." Harry replied.
"Well, you have a few hundred years to get used to it." Serana replied with a sarcastic smile.
Having a conversation with Serana was like walking on eggshells to Harry, it felt like at any point he could say something wrong, and possibly offend her, or leave a wrong impression. She was so much older, so much more influential than him, that it felt complicated to even speak. "You have quite the….escort." Harry said, eyeing the security around her, as well as her handmaidens.
Serana rolled her eyes in annoyance, "this is at Regis' insistence, he treats me as if I am not a strong vampire in my own right."
Harry raised an eyebrow, "is there a threat that I do not know about?"
Serana shrugged, "the price I have to pay for being close to Regis."
The Flamel's then made their way over to the pair of them, they looked overwhelmed but bright, Perenelle spoke easily, "it has been a while since we were recognized like that, it is rather nice knowing people see us as a beacon of positivity."
Harry smiled at them, "you're more famous than me." he teased.
Nicolas quickly retorted, "I would not say that 'Boy Who Lived'" as he clapped Harry on the shoulder. "Well played, it looked like Child's play to you and your team."
Nodding gratefully, "Thank you Nicolas, it was a good match."
"Well, as eventful as this was, it is getting late, Serana has graciously accepted our invitation to stay the night in Hogsmeade, so you can give her a tour of the school tomorrow morning." Perenelle intervened.
Harry was surprised but quickly nodded. "Of course, I look forward to it."
Perenelle smiled at him, "good, I know you have some celebrations to attend to, so go have fun, we will be at the front gate at 9 in the morning."
Smiling, Harry hugged Perenelle and Nicolas, then said a quick goodbye to Serana, before heading up to the school. He was surprised that Serana wished to stay the night, he assumed she would watch the game and then want a tour now, she must be closer to the Flamel's then Harry originally thought.
Harry arrived at his room to hear soft voices, knowing that his friends were inside waiting to celebrate his win had him smiling. It was a good comfort coming home knowing you had friends waiting for you.
Harry was speed walking through the busy hallways of Hogwarts. It was currently 8:55 and he was running a little bit late for his meeting at 9. He had not slept last night, but got distracted in his work, still studying and learning from the Potter grimoire. The celebrations had lasted a couple of hours, with games being played and drinks being consumed, but in the end nothing of any note happened, with everyone simply enjoying the company of each other.
Breaking through the front doors of Hogwarts, Harry beelined for the front gate, passing by curious students who looked at him in confusion. The Flamel's were standing at the gate, Serana and her crew around her, the group of them chatting patiently as they watched Harry stride over.
"I'm not late am I?" Harry quickly asked.
Nicolas looked at his watch, "a minute late, not that any of us were counting or anything." he said sarcastically, there was a happy atmosphere about the group gathered today, it seemed they enjoyed their night.
"Did you end up having any fun last night?" Harry asked.
Perenelle replied, "we had a glass of wine and sat at the fireplace, it was relaxing and it was very nice to catch up with Serana, it had been years." smiling gently at the Vampire princess. Harry noticed that Serana's eyes were bright blue, clearly an eye colouring enchantment of some sort. She was wearing the most casual clothes he had seen her in. A nice set of dressy pants, flat black shoes that were cut low so you could see a bit of her toes and ankle, then a lovely blouse that was unbuttoned at the top, showing a teasing amount of skin.
Serana returned Perenelle's soft smile, "it was lovely," she shifted her attention from Perenelle to Harry and the small smile diminished. "Shall we get going?"
Harry grinned, and then offered Serana his elbow, she raised an eyebrow but slid her hand through it anyways. "Since you've seen the Quidditch field and stadium, we can start at the other side." Harry began, leading the group towards the forbidden forest and the Black lake.
Stopping at one of the best viewpoints for the surrounding nature, Harry spoke again, "The Forbidden Forest apparently has every type of creature you can imagine in it, according to the students' rumour mill anyway. I did meet some centaurs when I was flying on my broom, they were kind."
Serana wrenched her head over to look at him, "Centaurs? Really?" she asked in exasperation.
Harry nodded, "yeah, Magorian and Bane, they were very kind considering they knew who I was."
Serana's eyebrow wrinkled in thought, her face pinched together, "it is very rare for Centaurs to interact with our kind, they must have sensed something in you."
"They could tell I was half wizard, half vampire, if that explains anything." Harry replied.
Serana thoughtfully nodded, "that must be the reason." She seemed to be deep in thought, so Harry led the group over to the lake. Nicolas and Perenelle stopped when they got there. "This is where we leave you Harry, we have business to take care of." Nicolas said.
Perenelle spoke up, "take care of the Youngling, will you Serana?" she said teasingly.
Harry quickly retorted, "Hey! We are at my home! Shouldn't I be the one to take care of her?"
Serana smirked at him, "Perenelle is teasing, but what makes you think I cannot take care of myself?"
Harry's eyes widened as he recognized his misstep, he immediately began waffling, "I...I… never meant to imply that…." but he was interrupted by Perenelle's sweet laughter, and Serana's quiet giggles.
Taking a sigh of relief after recognizing he was being teased, "The two of you tormenting me is not fair." he said in reply, pouting dramatically.
Perenelle ran a hand through Harry's hair, gently, she held a maternal smile "get used to it." she said sweetly, before turning and marching off with Nicolas, who shot a sly smile at Harry as he followed his wife.
Serana's quiet giggling filled his ears again, and Harry certainly liked the sound. It was a melodic lullaby that floated through the air, looking towards her angelic face, her eyes were soft, "Perenelle likes you." she said simply.
Harry smiled, "I certainly hope so."
"She does, Perenelle teases who she is affectionate with, she teases Nicolas all the time." Serana replied.
Harry felt rather good about that, it was just another sign the Flamel's were going to be good friends for the foreseeable future. From there, they continued on with the tour, Harry showed them all the different parts of Hogwarts, from the Astronomy room, the classrooms, the wacky staircases, the library, everything he could think of. The whole time Serana's arm was in his as her two security and two handmaidens closely followed. They got a lot of weird looks from the students, but thankfully no one spoke to them. Once it neared lunch time, they were nearly done with the tour, and Harry was hesitant to bring them into the Great Hall.
Serana immediately spoke, "I can smell the indecision coming off of you Harry, what is wrong?"
Harry sighed, "We eat lunch in the Great Hall, and I really wish to show it to you as it is very cool, but all of the students will be there, we will be uncomfortable."
Serana waved his worries away easily, "Please, let us not ruin this lovely morning with something so trivial, let's go."
The lack of hesitation and the serious tone had Harry not questioning her decision, and despite his doubts he led them through the doors and into the eyes of the student population. The Great Hall was rather full, but Serana did not notice as she immediately looked up to the ceiling, seeing the enchanted sky and the floating candles. Harry looked over to see her reaction, and the childlike surprise on her face had him smiling to himself. Just seeing her like that, he knew he had made the correct decision.
"Cool, right?" Harry asked.
Serana stopped looking at the ceiling to look at Harry, she smiled at him, "I've never seen something like this before, it's beautiful."
Harry smiled back at her, "I had the same reaction, it's quite the enchantment."
Harry spotted a large enough spot at the Gryffindor table for all of them to sit down, so he led them over and took the seats. The entire Great Hall seemed to be looking at them, Harry Potter and the mysterious guest was obviously quite the story. Whispers and gossip were already flying, as Harry could see the amount of heads leaning together to speak quietly to one another. Harry spotted Victoria, Daphne, Tracey, Blaise and Cedric sitting at the Slytherin table, the five of them looking at him in confusion. Harry smiled at them and waved, easing their worries.
Instead of all six of them sitting down though, only the two handmaids joined them, but they sat rather far away, giving Harry and Serana privacy. The two security guards standing over their shoulders, keeping an eye out for Serana's safety. Harry thought that they could relax and eat lunch with them but they seemed adamant on standing, so he let it be.
"So, how do we get food?" Serana asked.
"Oh! Just go like this," Harry took his wand out and pressed it to his plate, his food appeared instantly and he smiled at Serana. "Just say what you want to the plate."
Serana smirked at him, and she looked over to her two handmaidens who were holding in laughter. "Harry," she said easily, "we do not have wands."
There was a moment of confusion from Harry, before he face palmed. "I am so stupid, I forgot about that."
Serana smiled brightly at him and set a hand on his shoulder, "it's alright," she said through her laughter, "just get us the same thing as you."
It didn't take long for the four of them to be eating their meals, Harry offered some to the security but they both denied the food. Once they finished, Harry and Serana spoke quietly, just enjoying each other's company. Harry answered any questions she had about Hogwarts to the best of his ability, while Serana answered questions about Vampire society.
Serana explained the rather outdated practices that Vampire society still kept to, like royal bloodlines and servant culture. She seemed rather annoyed about it, but explained that some of the servants needed this or else they would be forced into things they disliked. Her two handmaidens being the examples. She didn't expand on that point, but it was interesting to Harry, as she was protecting them from something nefarious. It showed she had a good heart, and Harry respected her even more for that.
It was when Harry asked about her and Regis did she roll her eyes. "Let's just say my family life was terrible at best, and he rescued me from them, took me in and cared for me like Father would a Daughter." her eyes softened when she spoke of Regis, she was clearly grateful for him. "But then again, he roped me into being a Princess, so he deserves some attitude from me once in a while."
Harry laughed at that, she was not exactly wrong, she clearly did not wish to be a Princess, but had fallen into the role. Harry could certainly relate to that, being the 'Boy Who Lived.'
Judging by the way Serana kept looking over his shoulder with furrowed eyebrows, Harry knew that it was going to happen at some point, Harry turned around and watched as Roger Davies stood from the Ravenclaw table, and started to head in their direction. Sighing out loud, Roger had a reputation for being a shameless ladies man, so Harry knew how this was going to go. The Fourth year confidently walked towards them, but before he could reach them, Damien, the security for Serana, stopped him in his tracks with a firm hand on his shoulder.
Roger visibly stumbled, "woah," he said aloud, "Potter? What…." he said, looking away from Damien's firm eyes. Serana quickly whispered to Harry, "who is this?" she said, and Harry replied "a fourth year Ravenclaw, i'd bet ten Galleon he tries to get a date out of you."
Serana snorted, "shall I bruise his ego?"
Harry shrugged, before he murmured "I think I bruised it enough on the Quidditch pitch yesterday."
Serana smiled bright at him, as her chest shook with laughter. She nodded to Damien and the guard took a step back. Harry felt the eyes of the entire hall on them, as Roger sat down next to him. "What's up Potter, good game yesterday," Roger said quickly, before his attention shifted to Serana. Immediately, his character shifted to seductiveness and charm, a flirty smile on his face. Harry had to admit, he was a pretty good looking guy. "Hello beautiful, I had never seen you here before and could not leave without at least introducing myself."
Harry watched as Serana smirked at him, he could just tell by the way she was smiling that she was going to humiliate him. "Serana." she said simply, before holding her hand out. Roger quickly kissed it, holding his lips to her hand for too long.
"I'm Roger Davies, heir apparent to my House." he said braggadociously, he went to speak again, when Serana interrupted. "Is that supposed to impress me?" she said with some snark.
Harry did his best to hold in his smile, but failed and Serana quickly side eyed him with a laugh in her eyes. Roger struggled to reply, "uhm, yes it should? We are a good and moral House…"
Serana rolled her eyes exaggeratedly, "I have been with Harry this entire time, Harry Potter, of the Ancient and Noble Houses Potter and Black." she said, making sure to enunciate 'Ancient and Noble,' "and you expect me to be impressed by your House?"
Roger was visibly surprised, and looked like a fish out of water, Harry could see him steeling himself, before he asked, "and what House are you? Under what circumstances can you look down upon my house when I do not know yours."
Serana smirked at him, "well, hopefully House Black sometime soon." she then eyed Harry hungrily, and Harry had to take a deep breath to hold in his laughter. She was rather scary when she wished to torment someone, it was entertaining yet terrifying at the same time.
Roger looked over at Harry in shock, he could not even form words when Serana spoke again, "it is also quite apparent that Harry is much better looking, more polite, and more sophisticated, why should I spend time with you, when I am already with him?"
Harry watched as Roger composed himself, he looked over to Harry with a smirk, "well, if you let me take you on a date, i can show you why." the way he spoke was supposed to be smug and confident, Roger was alluding to the fact that he was more likely to be better at Sex then Harry, as he was older, but to Harry it came across vile and vulgar.
Serana was not impressed, she looked over to Harry, "I guess I owe you ten galleons," she said before turning back to Roger. "This was fun, but you are nothing to me except an inconvenience." she nodded to Damien again, and the man set his big hand on Roger's shoulder.
Roger was embarrassed, and quietly stood before shooting a glare at Harry. He took a few steps away when Damien let him go, heading back to the Ravenclaw table. The little bit of drama seemed to be rather interesting as the entire Hall had their eyes on them, even the professors were shamelessly watching.
One of the Professors must have told Dumbledore who was in the hall, as he scrambled through the doors, and made a beeline to Harry and Serana. Harry sighed, this was going to be odd. Once again, Damien stepped in the way, but this time Serana immediately called him off and Dumbledore approached. He didn't sit, instead he smiled as his eyes twinkled "Lady Serana! This is a wonderful surprise!" he said slowly, happily.
Serana smiled without her teeth, Harry could tell it was a rather fake smile, and he assumed Dumbledore would know that fact as well. "Albus, good to see you again." she said very dryly.
Dumbledore's smile did not relent, "it has been a while hasn't it? When did we see each other last?" he asked.
Serana's face did not change, "I do not remember, it must've been some party or ball. Been a while since you've been to one."
"My old age is catching up to me unfortunately," Dumbledore said easily.
"Right, is your old age the reason that you are making poor decisions?" Serana said sharply, her face morphed into a fierce glare.
Dumbledore looked at her questioningly, "poor decisions? You have no reason to doubt my intelligence nor my intentions, Serana."
Serana did not let up from her glare, "are you sure? You put one of ours in danger," her eyes shifted from Dumbledore to Harry, "count yourself lucky that it is me here and not Regis."
Dumbledore sighed, he refrained from speaking and simply nodded, so Serana continued, "I had to convince him not to come himself, and that I would speak to you when I visited. You know how quickly he retaliates when danger prevails."
Dumbledore nodded again, "Give him my apologies, it will not happen again, especially considering how many people have told me that my decision was not a good one."
"Good." Serana replied quickly, "It is nice to know that you have people around you that will question your decisions."
This time Dumbledore sighed, "Yes, I do believe that a different perspective is always a good thing."
Harry furrowed an eyebrow at Dumbledore, the only people that the Headmaster surrounded himself with were people that were blindly loyal to him. He only got scolded for his actions by the Flamels, Mum, and now Serana, none of those people got angry with him because of his decision, they were angry because of how it endangered Harry. That was certainly something that Harry needed to be aware of in the future, people worshipped Dumbledore, he is easily the most powerful, most influential person in the British wizarding world at the moment, and every decision he makes has no one opposing them. That made for a scary prospect, no matter how well intentioned he was.
After that, Serana and Dumbledore quickly delved into small talk, chatting about acquaintances and mutual friends. Harry could tell it was Dumbledore's way of trying to gain information on the Vampire society, but Serana was quite tight lipped. She had never seemed one to gossip, and only shared information that was already very public. They kept the conversation extremely quiet, so as to not alert any other students, but Harry could tell that Dumbeldore had put up a subtle privacy ward around them, limiting the noise.
After that, Harry quickly got distracted, Dumbeldore was rambling on and Serana was pretending to be interested. Looking over at the Vampire Princess, Harry took a quick second to take her in again, it really was not fair to others seeing how beautiful she was, the vampire blood enhancing her looks. Every time he saw her, he could feel the attraction he felt, it was not something that was unfamiliar, but something that Harry felt some sort of comfort in. It was as if it was a path he should follow, a guide that led directly to her.
Eventually, Dumbeldore departed and Serana stood, her need to get out of the Great Hall evident. She smiled at Harry and slid her arm in his elbow, allowing him to lead her towards the gates. They remained silent as they walked, the tour had finished and the time that had together was coming to an end.
"Well, I do hope you enjoyed the castle," Harry started as they neared the front gates, "Hogwarts does have its charms."
Serana smirked at him, "as does my tour guide."
Harry blushed slightly, but smiled back at her, "I'm fairly certain I made every guy in the school jealous,"
Serana's smirk did not relent, "Harry, are you really that ignorant to the effect you have on women?"
Confused, Harry denied it, "no, I know the effect I have on them, but I try to not let it get to my head, I would much rather have a few close friends than plenty vying for my attention."
Watching as Serana smiled, she took a moment to ponder her thoughts before she spoke. "That…. Is a very good sign Harry, a lot of people would get lost in their fortune and fame, it is good to know that you have a good head on your shoulders."
Harry felt rather shy after Serana spoke those words, he gets complimented for his looks all the time, but for someone of Serana's stature to compliment him on his personality had him rather abashed.
Fortunately for Harry, Serana let it be, she definitely smelt the embarrassment coming off of him, but chose to remain silent, letting him compose himself.
Their group walked to the Hogwarts gate, with Serana turning to face Harry once they reached the edge of the warding line. "I had a very enjoyable time Harry, I really appreciated the tour, and thank you for your company." she said, rather formally. Harry was slightly off put at that as he had thought that the two of them had gotten friendly enough that they did not need to be so formal. Serana relaxed his worries when she winked at him. "Now that Regis' formalities are done with, I can say that you have something good going on here Harry. Girls, friends, power, influence, an abundance of blood, I'm happy to know that a Youngling such as yourself is not struggling as originally expected."
Harry smiled, "I agree, I feel rather vulnerable and overwhelmed at times but overall it has been good. It helps knowing that I have a strong support network around me."
"I agree wholeheartedly." Serana replied, "you…." she paused, looking towards Harry with uncertainty for what felt like the first time. "Need to be able to trust people, I know you have your Mother, sister and the Flamels, but Harry, the way you will have to live is going to be largely in secrecy. You will need to trust others as you expect them to trust in you, it is not black or white but an extremely fine line, this is something that I had to learn over my many years, so heed my advice, alright?"
Harry nodded seriously, "thank you, I'll take these words to heart."
Serana smiled, it wasn't a large smile, nor her usual smirk, it was more of a regretful, yet proud look. "We will be seeing each other more soon Harry," she raised a hand to cup Harry's cheek, before she leaned in and gently kissed Harry on the lips.
Harry reciprocated the peck, and couldn't contain his smile as she pulled away. "I hope to see you sooner rather than later Serana." He replied, fighting through his smile.
Serana and her crew walked past the ward lines, giving Harry one last small wave before portkeying away. Leaving Harry to stare after where they just were, it took a moment to process it, but Serana had kissed him, a wonderful, delicious kiss. He sighed to himself, at least he knew she now liked him.
Looking up, Harry was distracted by an eagle landing on the top of the Hogwarts gate, the sun shone on its feathers at an angle where the light reflected off of them at a pretty angle. The bird cawed out loud a few times before looking directly at him. They stared off for a few moments before the bird launched itself into the air, flying away without looking back.
It reminded Harry of the bird that landed on his brooms all of those moons ago, and what his life was like then compared to now. It made for a rather large contrast considering how much his life had changed in such a short period, attending Hogwarts being the catalyst for all of these changes.
The day after Serana visited, Harry had sort of hidden in his room, he had wanted to rather sit and ponder on the kiss with Serana, keeping it private before he would be inevitably bombarded with questions from his friends. The plan was to just tell them all that Serana was a family friend of the Potter's who Harry had not known existed until the Delacour Ball, it was a rather simple lie, but he knew that Victoria and Blaise, his two friends that knew he was a vampire would be more suspicious.
Harry had spent the night alone, which truthfully, was rather peaceful as it did not feel as if he had been by himself for quite a long time. As much as he loved his friends and family, and the people around him, being alone was sometimes a necessity where you could simply just be in your own thoughts for a while.
By the time the sun rose, and Harry could hear the hallways being filled with students seeking food, he made his way to the Great Hall. Since he was rather early, he did not spot any of his friends, so Harry made his way to the Gryffindor table, very aware of everyone eyeing him as he walked.
Harry sat down towards the end of the table by himself, but it did not take long for others to approach him. Surprisingly the twins came and sat with him, it had been a while since he had spoken to either of them outside of quidditch practice and games, but evidently their curiosity about the events of yesterday had them.
Fred set a hand on Harry's shoulder as he straddled the bench beside him, "Harry, mate, who the hell was that yesterday?"
George followed up his twins' question with a laugh, "you have the entire school talking, it even seemed like she humbled Dumbledore yesterday."
"Bodyguards? Servants? A tour from the Boy Who Lived? Dumbledore struggling to speak to her?" Fred followed, the twins did this sometimes, where they would bounce off of each other without letting someone else get a word in.
George made to speak again, but Harry held a hand up to the two of them, "if you keep going I won't be able to actually answer your questions."
For once the twins actually remained silent, they shared a rather comical look between the two before they smirked at Harry. Harry rather uneventfully said, "she is an old family friend who I did not know of until I met her at the Delacour Ball, my Mum did not know her either. It was a rather large surprise for all of us."
Fred and George seemed to accept his answer rather easily, but they did continue pestering him, "why did she have bodyguards?" Fred asked, with George quickly following up with "she had to be royalty right?"
Harry shrugged, "lads, I genuinely didn't know she needed an escort, when we met at the ball, she was with her Father. There was no one else around."
The twins look rather downtrodden about that, "you couldn't have told us she was Bulgarian Royalty? Or something cool like that Harry?" George quickly chimed in with a snicker.
"The Hogwarts rumour mill spreads too many lies about me anyway, no need to spread more." Harry replied with a smile. The twins finally seemed satisfied with that answer, which was a good thing as Harry now knew the truth would be spread. One thing about the twins was that they sure knew how to gossip.
So, it wasn't much of a surprise when no one really asked about it during classes that day, and it did not surprise him that when he arrived back to his room at the end of the day, Victoria, Daphne, Tracey, Blaise, Susan and Cedric were eagerly waiting for his return.
"You're earlier then usual," Blaise immediately spoke up with a confused look. He had his feet kicked up on the coffee table, a book spread across his lap as he studied.
Harry smiled at him, "No more Quidditch games means no more extremely long practices, Ollie let us off early."
Tracey then chimed in from her usual spot at the table, "why are you even still practicing?"
Harry went over to the fridge and grabbed some water, "fitness, I don't look like this without some work being done Trace." Winking at his blonde friend.
Tracey rolled her eyes at him, but smiled anyway. Harry walked past Cedric and clapped him on the shoulder in a brotherly manner. "Who invited the Puff?" He said teasingly.
Victoria then spoke up, "I did, I was sick and tired of being around so many firsties."
Cedric feigned offense, "and here I was thinking that you guys enjoyed the pleasure of my company." He said dryly.
Harry snorted as the group chuckled, "okay, pretty boy, no need to get so dramatic."
Blaise then chimed in, immediately teasing Harry, "you can't exactly call him pretty boy, Harry. You're in the same category as him."
Harry shot Blaise a middle finger before he settled in one of the arm chairs next to Blaise. Daphne then spoke up, and as she usually did she attacked Harry head on. "So, was what you told Fred and George the truth or were you just trying to get the rumors to shut up."
Sighing, Harry spoke lethargically, "yes, that is the truth, I spoke to her, we got along rather well and she owl'ed me for a visit. I did not know about her escort."
The room seemed to rather deflate after they learnt the truth, with Blaise groaning out loud. "Ha!" Victoria called out, "give me my galleons Blaise."
Blaise stood and took out a coin pouch, handing some coins over to Vic. "You two bet who she was?"
Victoria replied with a big smile, "Blaise made a bet that you reached out to her, I said that she reached out to you."
Harry shook his head, smiling at their antics, it felt really good. Having a strong set of friends who were all comfortable with one another. Laughing and making jokes within the comfort of his room, it was nice to see, and certainly nice to have. It just made Harry think of the words that Serana had said to him before she left. Would Harry be able to trust all of the people in this room? Victoria and Blaise already knew he was a vampire, but would Daphne, Tracey and Cedric accept him for who he was?
Those were the uncertainties that plagued Harry's mind when he ended his days. Well, that, and Final Exams were upcoming and those stressed him out. Harry knew he would do fine on his tests, especially with two older years helping him, with Victoria and Cedric always willing to help out when one of us had any difficulties.
The next couple hours passed simply, the group just studied and joked around with all of them cramming for the end of the year exams. When curfew hit and everyone departed, Victoria stayed behind on the pretense that she had prefect duties to attend to. As soon as they all left, Victoria sat Harry down on the couch before she laid her head in his lap. "So." she started, "who really was that woman?"
Harry sighed, and ran a hand through Victoria's hair, gently massaging her scalp as he did. Victoria nuzzled into the movement cutely, but at the same time shifted her body so she was further draped over Harry's lap, this meant she was pressed directly on Harry's rapidly hardening cock.
Struggling to speak for a moment, Harry settled himself before he replied, "she's the adopted daughter of the Leader of the Vampire Coven in this area. She's centuries old, and an extremely important figure in Vampire society."
Victoria looked surprised, and she shifted in his lap again, pressing more fully on his cock, Harry was beginning to think she was doing it on purpose. "Wow, Harry, seducing a Princess, I didn't think you had it in you." she said teasingly.
Harry paused his hand movements, "Serana just wanted a tour of the Castle. I did not seduce her. Even if I tried to, I would have no chance, she has hundreds vying for her hand, I am just one of very many."
Victoria snorted, she took a hold of Harry's hand and gently encouraged him to keep running his fingers through her hair, "Harry, you are one of one. There is not a single person I have ever met that is like you, just as there is not a single person you have met who is just like me. Do not think that you are the same as anyone else because being yourself makes you unique." Victoria paused pensively, then spoke again, "I'm also assuming that there were some political motivations behind her visit, considering who you are."
Harry nodded, he was fully hard now, and he knew Victoria knew it as it was pressing against her face. "Yeah there were, I am the first ever Vampire to attend Hogwarts and I am the first Vampire ever in High Society. In the future I am going to be an extremely powerful political force in the Vampire world."
Victoria snickered, "why do you sound disappointed?"
Harry sighed, "it just feels like a lot of responsibility for me when I barely know anything about being a vampire, let alone the community. I feel like I'm wholly unprepared for it all, I just have to adapt as best as I can, I guess."
Victoria continued to snicker, "welcome to the world Harry." she said in all seriousness.
Looking down at her, Harry realized that she had purposely turned her face so that she was pressing her cheek and lips on the underside of his hard cock. Their eyes met and Harry raised an eyebrow at her, Victoria smiled cheekily before she pressed a firm kiss to his cock through his pants. The heat of her lips, and the sheer erotic nature of the act had Harry clenching his legs in want.
Harry pulled her up, and Victoria immediately straddled him, her legs on either side of Harry's hips, running a hand through her hair. Harry brought their lips together, and immediately turned the heat up, making out with the beautiful Italian. With one hand in her hair, another on her fat ass, his tongue in her mouth, Harry could only feel lust and want, all of his worries that were on his shoulders earlier disappeared, his mind full of Victoria.
Victoria ran her hand from Harry's cheek, slowly down his chest and abs until she slowly began rubbing his cock, gripping and stroking it through his pants. Harry couldn't help but moan into her mouth, feeling the heat of her hand felt incredible. Victoria pulled away from his mouth, and spoke sultrily, "Off." she said while trying to peel Harry's shirt off.
Harry quickly followed her instruction, before he did the same to her, easily stripping her of her shirt to reveal her perky tits, they went to make out again, their torso's pressed together as Harry felt Victoria's nipples press against his pectorals. Harry felt Victoria running her hands across his body, it felt as if she was trying to touch as much of him as possible, so it did not exactly surprise him when she reached for the buttons on his pants.
Eager to feel her hands on his bare cock, Harry lifted his hips and pushed his pants down, allowing for Victoria to quickly grab a hold of him, and slowly begin stroking him as they continued to sloppily kiss. "You feel even bigger in my hands, Handsome." she said breathily. Harry groaned into her mouth, her hands felt incredible, the pleasure from her hands alone was unreal.
Victoria continued jerking him off, and Harry leaned down to lick, kiss and suck at her tits. As he did he rubbed and gripped them, they were the perfect handful, and fit so nicely in his hands and mouth. They continued like that for a few minutes, with Harry becoming closer and closer to orgasm, while he continued his exploration of her chest.
Harry began thrusting into her soft hands, and Victoria altered her movements, rubbing one hand along the tip, while the other stroked along his shaft. The combination of the two pushed him to new heights, and within a few more strokes Harry was moaning, letting Victoria know that he was about to come.
To Harry's complete surprise, Victoria quickly ducked away from him, and in one movement plunged her head, taking the entirety of Harry's cock in go. Feeling the wet heat of her mouth had Harry erupting immediately, he moaned out loud and held her head down onto his cock as he came and came, shooting ribbons of come into Victoria's mouth.
Victoria was relentless in her pursuit, swallowing over and over, as she continued to prolong Harry's pleasure. Harry struggled to breathe correctly as she finished sucking, looking on her in wonder, Victoria was looking coyly at him as she gently placed kisses to the head of his cock, Harry could not believe how erotic the sight was. Victoria placed one final kiss on his softening cock before she smiled bright, and brought Harry's pants back up over his hips.
Harry leaned down and grabbed Victoria under the armpits, pulling her up so that she was straddling him again, he then wrapped his arms around her, hugging her body to his. Harry was slowly recovering from the incredible orgasm he just had, he felt his eyes were hooded as he looked down at her beauty.
Victoria held a smug smile before she kissed Harry, Harry did not have much energy to reciprocate so he did as much as he could, just lightly puckering his lips as she pressed against them. "You are a goddess." Harry mumbled.
Watching as she smirked, "thank you handsome, you taste rather good." she said flirtatiously. Victoria surprised him by jokingly taking a bite out of his exposed neck, sinking her teeth in gently before she started giggling. Harry smiled at her, "you want to drink my blood?" he asked.
Victoria's giggle deepened, "well, I already drank something of yours tonight."
Harry groaned again, her sultry words having an effect on him. Victoria giggled as she continued to tease. Harry gained the strength to actually lean forward and return a kiss, but after that he settled into the couch behind him, Victoria snuggling up to him sweetly.
Under no circumstances was Harry expecting that when he had arrived in his room tonight, he presumed it would be a relaxing night studying with his friends, and it ended with Victoria stunning him with her actions. Harry was especially surprised with the way Victoria took him into her mouth, swallowing him whole. That was something that Harry needed to think about, never did he think she would do something so erotic so quikcly in their relationship, Harry knew that Victoria was older then him, but it seemed unexpected. Was his enthralling power stronger than he expected? It was possible considering there are so many unknowns with his being. He would need to watch more of Victoria's behaviours and actions, and see if they were different then what the history books knew.
