I Do not own Dragon Ball or DC comics. Last year during lockdown I commissioned a picture from my friend Sergio. It featured Raditz from Masakox's Dragon Ball RaR series where the infamous brother of Goku was flipped into a hero facing off against the made up Smallville comic book character Warrior Angel. Warrior Angel was introduced in the former Tv show Smallville which focused on Superman's early years in the show a comic book character named Warrior Angel posed as being Superman's idea of what well Superman comics were. I just thought it was cute and have the pair fight against each other. Recently I re watched some Smallville and got inspired to write this one shot. Especially as it has been almost twenty years since the first episode. I mean Goku verses Superman has become the stuff of legends for the nerdiest of nerds so let us to see what happens when Radtiz turned good goes against Lex Luthor turned good. I guess why these two or rather these two variations of these characters are mainly because I route for the transparent people of the world. The ones who need to be seen more.

Fantasy Comics showcase - Warrior Angel Verses Raditz

Diablo Desert - Bazar

Raditz sighed tiredly looking around the strange bazar, seeing the strangely coloured wooden stalls around ahead of him. Humans and man-animals alike selling and trading off their goods. Food, wine, cigars, toys, potions, weapons and unique animals that a millionaire would love to own for the soulless sake of appeasing their desperate egos.

This was familiar territory for Raditz. During his scouter days if they were not destroying planets, he and his former associates would stop off and pint of some out of world liquor and pleasure woman in established markets like the one he was exploring right now. The brother of Goku could even see some bars and brothels on each his sides. However, those wasted days were long gone, the moment he reconnected with his brother and put a wedding ring on his finger. That Raditz was buried in the shame.

Yet this Raditz had risen in boredom, truth be told he rather be sparing with his kids than wasting his time in this desert bazar. The reason he was there at all was due to a favour he owed Baba, his witch ally gave him and his brother a trip to the afterlife to fight in a new otherworld tournament. Pikkon and the other dead fighters to their credit had really kept up with the sons of Bardock, after the brothers unlocked God Ki. Pikkon had even unlocked a new transformation, how own personal super mode.

The tournament was fun and engaging, Raditz's Saiyan spirit had been fuelled up wonderfully. Every second he felt like a birthday boy who had started and ended the day in a joyful bliss. A golden day when every single second was exactly right in the way it should feel right for someone. Nothing was wrong…well nothing was wrong until Baba called in a favour. In the witch's words if the brothers and the rest of the Z fighters wanted to treat her and her powers like a Taxi service, then they better be prepared to pay the tole.

Apparently, in her far younger years Baba and a group of high school friends had gone on a cursing bender with their magical powers. One of her friends apparently had written a comic book, a pilot storyline for a publishing company. Unfortunately for him while the company loved the character and story, they apparently did not like him so much. To put it in simple terms the company found a way to legally steal the character and storyline without paying her friend a dime or acknowledging him as the comics creator.

Fleeing from publishers in shame and sadness, Baba's friend hid at her place for a couple of months morning his lost creation. Usually sitting on a recliner eating, drinking and smoking. In other terms he consumed the best products that would lead a person into gaining a horrific case of tooth decay. The poor man went through a course of degeneration. From aspiring storyteller to coach potato. One day when he was getting wasted from four bottles of bitter beer, he watched a toy advertisement showcasing his character as an actual real action figure. Seeing how the children in the advert played with it, how happy they were. It burned him, stung him seeing those ungrateful brats who would probably breck these toys. His toys, of his character. Seeing his creation used as another corporate mascot for bad merchandise and used in mediocre storylines just killed him inside.

After drinking three more bottles, the fallen wizard went to a local shop and brought a random issue. Placing a curse on the comic, chanting that anyone who dares open and reads any of the pages. The character would come to life, believing victim to be villain and stop at nothing to destroy them.

It was safe to say Baba was extremely pissed on hearing the news, once her friend had sobered. What was worse, her friend did not even know where he placed the dam thing. So, for decades an extremely dangerous cursed artifact had been left out in the very wide open for any poor unfortunate soul to find. Yet finally after years and years of searching the old witch had found the comic in the black-market bazar Raditz currently was exploring. He and his brother had to rock, paper scissors each other to see which one of them had to do this tedious task. Raditz guessed the reason why Baba wanted one of them was due to this bazar being a black market, where in such a place you never know what kind of opposition you may encounter. Baba was powerful with her magical abilities but when it came to her physical prowess even someone like Hercule would have one over her.

Raditz, personally did not mind. The task was simple and any annoyance he had would be dismissed as soon as his small mission had been completed. While it did irk him that he had to waste some of his time for the witch, he knew if he did not his wife, sister-in-law and Bulma would never let him off the hook with their harpy accusation like glares on why he did not help a friend out.

Suddenly! Raditz felt a huge pile of strange KI surge in the area. This type of KI was different from the natural and God variations he had become accustomed too. This KI signature it was unbalanced, jaded and felt forced as if someone had glued something horrible onto something peaceful.

Raditz looked squally at a wooden porched table ahead of him. The items, which where up for sale on said table where a few fake jewels, worn out toys and few torn children's books. Like some of the other stalls this particular- one came off to Raditz as the cheap and cheerful but also crappy section within the bazar. However, what swayed the brother of Goku to this pitch, was the only piece of merchandise that was both in good condition and was driving him up the wall with the jaded Ki.

Raditz walked up to the stall, there it was. Warrior Angel issue 178 'A Hero Lies in Solitude'. After examining the comic and feeling the jaded Ki increase due to how close the Saiyan warrior came within proximity of the comic. With his ehhh…. flashy detective skills, the Raditz came to the simple conclusion that this was the artifact he was looking for…. That and he was sure he had seen some posters of this superhero in Gohan's room.

With a quick sigh of relief that his trivial mission was over, Raditz leaned down to take the comic. Until an angry hand stopped him in his tracks. "Hey!" cried out the angry hooded merchant "What, do you think you doing? Trying to steal from me."

Raditz rolled his eyes in annoyance. "Listen to me, trader." Raditz berated in a high and mighty tone "I have already wasted enough of my time in this garbage pit, I'm tired, bored and in all honestly have far better things to do with my life than play the happy shopper at this junk sale." Raditz summarized bluntly but still rudely.

The trader still was peeved that this rude upstart still tried to take his comic. "Ughh-ugh." He grunted in response "If you want it, you're going to have to pay for it."

Radtiz growled "How much? I really need to get it." The brother of Goku stated.

While Raditz could not see the Traders face due being covered by a deep hood, yet the Saiyan could have sworn he saw a wicked smile transpire on the grafters' face.

The Trader took a small piece of wood and wrote a number on it. Once he laid it next to the Warrior Angel comic, Raditz's eyes exploded with shock and fury "200,000 ZENI!" Raditz screeched from the top of his lungs.

"You said you really needed it?" The Trader grinned evilly "If you want it so badly, then 200,000 should be no problem for you." He answered smugly at Raditz.

If there was ever a time Raditz would have liked to have gone Super Saiyan Berserker, now would have been one of those moments for the warrior. Even now looking at this swindler of a shop keeper made all the veins in his head pop out.

Radtiz swiped the sweat from his forehead, he did consider phoneing Bulma or the Ox King if one of them would be willing to lend him the money. However, it was not long before that idea was thrown out. Mainly due to the fact he already owed both persons quite a bit. Mainly due to his and the rest of his families eating expenses. There was no way in hell they would give him any more money until he either paid them back or did some personal favours for them.

So, money was out of the window. This caused Raditz to sigh tiredly. While he hated this Trader upon meeting him, he knew his next course of action would put in the doghouse in the eyes of his family and friends. There was no other option it was time to begin operation 'Steal for the greater good'.

"I do not have time for this." Raditz declared forcibly as he used his super strength to push the Trader up against the wall, knocking the man out. Raditz turned his sights back at the table, he grabbed the dam comic and was about to fly back home. Until the Trader regained consciousness and jumped onto Raditz back doing his best to give the Saiyan a royal thumping.

"Thief!" The Trader squealed, "Give me back my comic!" He demanded of the long haired Saiyan.

Raditz tried to get the thug off him, the whole scene felt like an enactment of a grandfather trying to swat a bee off himself. Raditz was batting his hands behind his back. In a remarkably but still darkly similar fashion to how Nappa tried to tear Chiaotzu off himself during the Saiyan invasion. The pest of a man just would not let go off Raditz, finally Raditz realized swatting the man off was impossible. So, the Saiyan warrior assumed he needed more 'lighter' approach to the situation.

Feeling the old and still familiar click inside his body, Radtiz roared with a fury as his long hair changed from raven black to golden yellow. The yellow aura which had bounced off him was strong enough to throw the Trader once more to the ground knocking him out again for the second time.

Raditz soon returned to his base form, tired and aggravated the son of Bardock released his inner immature turmoil "I have had enough!" He shouted at the fallen Trader "I am getting MY comic and then I am flying home! Understood! Now where is the…" Raditz felt a change in the jaded Ki. It was growing again but not because of the close - proximity. No, the KI was rapidly getting stronger, far more than could be achieved because of close distance.

Raditz turned around, to his horror he saw the comic wide open with gold, blue and white lights exploding out of the pages. The curse! Baba said if the comic were opened or read then the curse would be activated!

Despite the shock of seeing the curses fruition before him, Raditz calmed himself quickly as he thought of a way to remedy his current predicament. Perhaps with his superspeed he could reach the comic in time and close it before the curse was completed. Raditz was about to make a dash for the comic but an enormous white light blinded the Saiyan, stopping him right in his tracks.

Raditz shielded his eyes from the deadly light, trying to uphold his endurance from the toxicity of the magical brightness. Even though the light lasted roughly a few seconds, the pain felt like an eternity. Finally, the harsh light started to dim down before the Saiyan. Feeling the blurriness, ease down from his eyes. Once his vision had been restored Raditz could see the new figure in front of him. Looking at this new fighter, Raditz's facial expression showed traits that matched a man whose day had just become far more complicated than it ever needed to be.

This man, this hero, this Warrior Angel who had been brought to life from the pages of a comic book of all things. He had a strong tall figure; he wore a shiny blue spandex suit. Which contained small patches of silver armoured plating plastered on his suit's shoulders, armours, gloves, the side of his legs, kneecaps and lower section of his stomach. A long scarlet red cape flowed down behind his back. In terms of the man's physical unclothed appearance Raditz could only make out his head. The man had a smooth a bold head, this was the only thing Raditz could make out as the man hid his eyes with a silver domino mask. On the man's chest was a silver W symbol however if one looked closer they could see some small wings popping out of the W.

Warrior Angel slowly opened his eyes as if he was a new-born babe. Examining this strange new world before him. Looking at the destroyed stalls due the energy released from his comic. Looking, at the scared merchants and customers either running away or staying to look at him in shock. Seeing, the sand below his feet fleeting away from him because of the small wind behind himself.

The hero did not know why he was here. Last thing he remembered was…working inside his Aerodrome, trying to contemplate his thoughts. Next minute without any hint or warning he just appeared in this strange random place. Warrior Angels quickly lost his curious feelings as he felt a strange presence outside his own personal idea of normal.

The hero turned around to face the brother of Goku. Both men just stared at each other, silently eyeing one another trying to figure the other one out.

Raditz, decided to breck the obvious ice. "Listen, I understand you maybe under some confusion. If you just listen to me, I can explain...!" Raditz was silenced instantly from a punch to the face from Warrior Angel. Sending the Saiyan skyrocketing through the desert twirling around in mid-air. After a few seconds Raditz landed roughly into the sand. Raditz pushed himself up wiping away a few lines of blood off his nose.

Raditz growled, allowing his voice to deepen due to the built-up rage that had been inserted into him from the assault. "What the hell!" Raditz berated at his fictional foe "You're a superhero, from what Gohan preached about the whole superhero get up. Beating up a guy you just met isn't in your job description."

Warrior Angel just folded his arms as he flew towards the Saiyan "Your right, I would do that for a citizen. However, I can tell an agent of Devilicus when I see one. Your tail was all the evidence I needed to see."

Raditz jumped confused "What the hell are you talking about? I never met this Devilicus and additionally dude its not a good look judging someone on appearance."

Warrior Angel just looked down sadly "Your right." The hero admitted sadly "Normally I would never allow myself to be guided with such short sightedness." Warrior Angels' features tensed up as he changed his posture to that of a fighter "However, time and experience has taught me to know better. It has taught me that I should… no I must be smarter in the when dealing with evil doers such as yourself."

Raditz, really wanted to retort back at Warrior Angel. Yet the words failed to come out of his mouth. Mainly for two reasons. The first being that once upon a time he had been every negative spurn that this hero had jabbed at him had been a real-life description of himself as a person. Killing by the thousands, working for demonic overlord and well did his job for his own screwed up ideology of honour, pride and pathic sense of superiority. So, in all honestly who was he to judge this new character with his current mindset. The second reason was when listening to Warrior Angels words and the tone of his voice. The Saiyan warrior could feel something determined but still sad in the man's voice. As if he lost something or perhaps even someone. Why Raditz formulated these suspicious thoughts was due to the son of Gine's personal experience when it came to loss.

While Raditz knew it was because of the curse that the comic book character was being hostile to him. Raditz had matured enough to feel some sympathy to his opponent. Yet regardless a threat was threat and while Warrior Angel maybe doing this in the name of justice the magic would make the hero only see red wherever he went without knowing any better. Raditz could not allow such a danger to go free-lancing sympathy or not.

Raditz jumped back up getting into his own fighting pose. "I do not know who the hell this Devilicus is. What I do know is when someone is wanting a brawl their speaking my language." Raditz answered back with his family's smirk appearing on his face.

Warrior Angel did not seem amused, Raditz did not know if it was because he lacked the fighting spirit or if he was just to low in his mood to genuinely care about the situation. "Since you do not wish to go with me peacefully then I have no choice but to turn you in. For the sake of the Guardian Realm and the innocent I will stop you and all threats of brought by all of evil servants."

Raditz, rolled his eyes for the second time today "Fine just stop with the terrible poetry."

"It's not poetry, it's a declaration of truth and justice." Answered back Warrior Angel.

"Yeah, and I have a muffin button back home I hide from my brother." Raditz answered back sarcastically.

"You have a muffin button? Why?" Asked Warrior Angel asked back on confusion.

"What no I! huh Kami I got Kakarot as a superhero haven't I." Raditz answered deadpanned. "Lets just fight you Warrrior Twit!" Raditz screamed back at hero as he entered his Super Saiyan one form.

"Such bad language clearly a bad role model for the younger generation." Warrior Angel smeared back at his opponent.

Raditz just growled "Just…just SHUT UP!" Raditz roared back at the character as rushed ahead to his annoying opponent.

Insert Song (Velvet Underworld By Weiß)

Warrior Angel jumped into the air avoiding the attack causing Raditz to decimate a rock that had been behind the hero. Warrior Angel used the chance he gained while being in mid air to literally put his foot down on Raditz. Raditz ducked in time and grabbed Warrior Angels legs and used his strength to slam Warrior Angel to the ground. Causing the comic book here to be flat lined onto the ground.

Warrior Angel attempted to get up but Raditz stopped him in his tracks with a heavy punch to the face by Raditz. Raditz too his surprise felt an ich of pain from hitting the hero, for when he contacted the skin it did not feel a weak softness like one usually would feel from such contact. It felt as if he had punched some heavily enforced metal. Which saying something considering his Saiyan biology.

Warrior Angel used this moment of confusion to his advantage headbutting Raditz, regaining his stance Warrior Angel than punched Raditz in his chest causing the Saiyan to be sent flying once more but this time into the sky. Raditz was rolling in the air like a football as Warrior Angel flew in to make another attack. Radtiz quickly caught his senses as he was able to headlock Warrior Angel's head with his legs. Using the thrust of the situation he threw Warrior Angel back to the ground below. As the hero was making his re-entry, he smashed into some hills and mountains. Breaking the king-sized rocks like glass as he contacted physically with them, almost like pushing dominos down.

Raditz flew down to see where the hero had landed in the desert. Raditz tried to scan the area to see where he was hiding. Raditz closed his eyes, using his KI to sense wherever the comic book hero maybe hiding. Everything had become silent for the Saiyan warrior. He could not hear the wind, not the small bugs moving within the sandy rocks. Not even his own heartbeat. All these sounds had been silenced for Raditz. He had ordered his body to keep out all feelings and sounds which could put him in a critical state of compromise.

One…two…three. Raditz kept repeating in his head. Suddenly! Raditz's eye lids shot open in the speed that was equalled to a gunshot. The Saiyan could clearly see in front of him his attacker, Raditz in the split second he had stopped the secret attack which almost came about. Locking both his hands with the heavy fists of the comic book heroes. Both men grunting their hearts out while keeping in the lock. Showing their clenched bare teeth like savage animals while eyeing each other to see who would breck first.

Raditz, felt the energy build up inside of him as his KI rose from the depths of his former mental solitude. The golden yellow beginning to turn into a holy blue, with one savage roar Raditz screamed causing the all the rock surrounding them to shatter from the roar as entered his Super Saiyan Blue state.

Warrior Angel could only gawk when looking at this new transformation. When he witnessed this so called Super Saiyan transformation he just dismissed it as a strange form of hair dye, if only he took in the full the consequences of these forms. Raditz looked down at his opponent gripping harder on the hero's hand. Warrior Angel squealed from the pain he was feeling, it was strange it had been so long he felt such pain. The only two who ever made this invincible man be in such a state had been Devilicus and Black Dimond. What kind of villain was he dealing with?

Radtiz flung Warrior Angel far to the side. Sending the Hero flying. Despite being a moving target Raditz could make a clear target of the man. Moving his hands in the proper position of his attack "Wednesday Kamehameha!" He screamed out from his lungs causing veins to binge out from his forehead. A beautiful white light shot out from his hands coursing straight towards Warrior Angel hitting the hero. Warrior Angel tried to block the attack but to no avail as the blast sent him packing to the other side of the world.

Loughborough - beacon hill

In a beautiful grassy and rocky hillside within the United Kingdom, numerous families and friends were having picnics on Beacon Hill. Sitting on benches and laying on the grass to look at the clear blue sky. The Hill was mixed with physical rocks hidden by wild green grass but the hill itself was shaped like a witch's hat. As the people were enjoying the sunny day of being out. One little girl looks at the sky to see something or someone was about to fall on her.

Before he could, the girl was pushed out of the way by her mother. Warrior Angel landed straight into the ground creating a crater where he had befallen. As the living comic book hero tried to get push himself up. He gasped as he rolled over to the side, why he did such an action was mainly because Raditz had planned to stomp Warrior Angel with a power kick. Raditz sighed worryingly knowing this one mistake may have forced him to lose his founded streak of counter-backs.

Warrior Angel came to the Super Saiyan Blue side and backflipped a kick at Raditz. Causing the Saiyan to be sent crashing into the hill's integrated rock smashing it from the strong impact. Raditz lifted himself up using the rocks as support, turning around to face his opponent. Only for Warrior Angel to grab him by the collar and lifted him up to a point where Raditz's feet no longer touched the ground. While the comic book hero was looking up at the Saiyan. Raditz, was trying to squirm out of his enemy's grasp.

Warrior Angel just looked sternly at Raditz. His face unfeeling nor showing an expression that could be considered sympathetic. It was clear this man had a mission to complete, and he was going to complete it no matter what got in his way.

Warrior Angel used his free arm to punch Raditz in his stomach, smashing the Saiyan's upper Saiyan armour. Raditz howled from the pain as some blood came out from his mouth. Raditz closed his eyes for a moment trying to restrain himself from vomiting some of his insides despite his mouth making the movements and the hard mucking sounds one would make if they were about to be sick.

Raditz simply looked at his opponent, while he kept repeating in his head this was all down to the curse. He still wanted to know why this superhero had such a cold stamina to those he believed where evil doers. Sure, the Z fighters showed this hardness themselves when facing one of their enemies. Himself included when he finished off Freiza after his resurrection. Yet he needed to remember his brother. His happy smile, his gestures of peace towards their enemies when the option did present itself.

Raditz to some degree knew who this Warrior Angel was. Before he married Launch and still lived with his brother and by extension his side of the family. Raditz remembered seeing some comics and posters in Gohan's room showing a superhero that look remarkably like the man who was strangling him right now. It would not have surprised Raditz if his nephew had based his Saiyaman costume from this costume. After all both suits had red capes. Yet when looking back on those posters Raditz remembered seeing a man who thought for truth, justice and to bring out the best in the worst of people. A man who was like his brother in that regard. So, the question now is why he was not acting like his brother. Why was Warrior Angel acting less like a hero and more like a Saiyan?

Raditz screw fully opened his eyes painfully, feeling the blood run down his mouth. "What happened to you?" Raditz asked.

Warrior Angel did not flinch from his deadly hold but still took the time to answer the Saiyan's query "What do you mean?" He asked.

"Your Warrior Angel, your job is to protect people who cannot protect themselves." Raditz gasped out. "That includes even the worst of the worst. You are someone who comes off as giving people a chance, not just writing them off without a second thought." Raditz stated "What happened that made you so cold?"

"That is none of your business" Warrior Angel answered back more harshly.

Raditz then mumbled painfully, his brother had thought him a small technique once. At the time Raditz did not see any real reason to use this technique as it focused more on the mind than combat. However, Raditz now saw a perfect opportunity to use it.

Raditz transferring all his strength into his arms clasped the arm Warrior Angel was using to hold him up. Warrior Angel shocked by this action was about to land in another hit at Raditz until Raditz countered his rival by screaming "VACATION DELETE!" Which sent a pulse of electricity through the hero causing him to be paralysed releasing the Saiyan from his hold.

Once freed Raditz jumped on Warrior Angel, pinning the comic book forcibly to the ground. Raditz placed his hand on Warrior Angel's forehead and began to use his KI to manipulate the hero's brain patterns. By doing so would allow Raditz to scan and analysis the patterns. This would allow Raditz could have a peek inside Warrior Angel's mind and see through his opponents' memories and finally figure out what was causing him such inner anguish.

Seaboard City – In memory

Raditz awoke to find himself in a small suburban town in mane. Looking around the city, the area seemed to have an almost Disneyland approach. Beautiful white towering buildings, a fine relaxing park in the middle of city which maintained healthy cut grass and a couple of nicely designed gazebos placed within the said park. Old fashioned corner shops and market stalls selling beef jerky. A beautiful clear blue sea which flowed at the edge of the city.

Everything in this city looked so idyllic, made sense why a colourful superhero like Warrior Angel would live in such a place. However, that was not what interested Raditz. No, something would happen here that would darken the colourful hero. Raditz then felt the weather and sky change. From sunny blue to cloudy night-time. Cold rain began to tear down at rapid speed on the perfect city. Coating every part of the city with puddles in a moment of seconds.

The sound of ghostly alleyway footsteps took hold of Raditz's train of thought. The Saiyan turned around to see a shadowy figure running through the darkness. Raditz turned in worry to find the figure. He could not sense any Ki from her, which made sense since this was a memory. So why could he not shake this tiring feeling of sorrow when looking at her? This expectation of eventual upset, a feeling he felt when he was child. Whenever his farther would bluntly dismiss and reject him and his mother with his usual coldness whenever he visited. Why had this unreformability returned for this moment?

After a few slow seconds, Raditz could finally make out this distressed female figure. She was in between her late twenties and early thirties. She had tanned skin, a black office dress, black high heels. She had long wavery chocolate brown hair, her eyes where piercing purple with glittering makeup draped on her eye lashes with red rose lips.

In funny way she reminded Raditz of Bulma for some reason, maybe it was her dress and red lipstick. Raditz did not know for sure. He could only focus on this negative demeanour that emanated from this newcomer.

As the female was running through the rain, she froze right in front of Raditz. Raditz speechless for a moment questioned if this woman could see him? This mind reading technique was no different from watching a video tape. Rewind or forward from scenes without consequence. Though possibly there may have been the off chance their technique suffered a glitch. After all, Raditz was reading the mind of a comic book character who knows what unknown side effects could have been in such an unusual situation?

Raditz could see sweat tear down from the woman's flesh. As impossible as it should been the Saiyan was able to make out the difference between the sweat and rain drops. How he was able to know? Quite simple, Raditz could always see and make out the signs of fear and terror. They were the oldest and most despised feelings Raditz had grown up with since his childhood. These hated feelings could never be a stranger to him.

Raditz turned around, to stare at the figure for whom this young lady was staring at. This was no glitch, as mentioned before Raditz was a high achiever when it came to knowing the lessons of belittlement. For a person to produce such intense sweat in such cold surroundings, to make their breathing hard and harsh as is their organs had been forcibly clamped up. To make their stabled bult mind to fall so terribly in the moment. Was all due to when the victim is coming face to face with a person or object that knew easily how to crumble the most well-built of backbones. Raditz, unfortunately knew this fact well from his time serving Freiza and Vegeta back in his lapdog days.

Insert song – (The Sound of Silence by Disturbed)

The figure stood in the cold rain, allowing the drops and drizzle to drench his body as if he were having a shower in a luxurious hotel room. A twisted idea of personal relaxation.

While he covered much of his body with black, monk like robes. Raditz was able to make out the creatures' physical aspects. As he further examined the monster Raditz's facial expression soured uncontrollably, his mouth twinging in digest, anger and small hint of sadness of the sight before him. From the moment he saw the woman, Raditz had regained a horrible nostalgia of the dead tyrant who ruined his childhood. What the brother of Goku did not expect was just how much this new enemy would remind of the cold hearted Freiza… especially his first and second forms.

The creature stood a good tall height of 6 ft 7 in and his weight was around 180 kg. He was slightly hunched down in his posture; his skin was green like a Namekian but did not have the smooth softness of one. Oh no there was absolutely no softness to the skin. The skin was physically jagged, bubbly and spikey. He had darkish yellow claws instead of natural fingernails. His face though won the prize of this demonic amalgamation. The monsters head was shaped like a unproperly baked French croissant with the green skin plastered over it. Crooked spikes, popping out of the creatures' chin, both sides of its cheeks and back of its head almost looking like it wore a king's crown due to the shapes and position of the spikes. Its fanged shaped teeth coloured red as if they were bleeding. A horrible, shaped nose that looked like it had been stolen from a stone gargoyle, bright yellow eyes that lacked any pupils which led upwards of the face to a hideous vengeful frown. With two twisted devil horns sticking out of its forehead.

Raditz was disgusted by the appearance. While he knew it was wrong to judge someone from appearance…Mainly as most of his friends had their own unique physical differences. Yet as he examined this projected rejection, Raditz could only feel a horrid sickness bile up in his stomach. Even though this was the first time Raditz had ever seen this creature, he could feel a surge of negative sensations emit from this demonic assassin. Fear, anger, carelessness, hypocrisy, domination, sarcasm, narcissism and strangely enough an idea of justice; but not the type of justice his brother, Gohan and Gotenks preached. This sense of justice was self-serving, it was hollow and artificial. This aura of justice did not a spec of anything that could be considered right. Only a collateral of wrongs.

Then Raditz felt another emotional aura from the figure, the one that had truly been crawling under his sturdy skin when he laid eyes on this deformed weasel. He was a traitor, this monster who was stalking this innocent woman was a traitor. He had broken a bond so sacred, so delicate and had been so much loved that even any consideration of it being broken would come off as world shattering to those who were intertwined by this supposed unbreakable bond. He had committed a dishonour; his deformity was somehow a punishment for his fallen nature. Instead of trying to repair it like Vegeta had done after the Majin fiasco and their final duel; the creature would find a way to truly cement his transfer from a very beloved friend to a truly despised foe.

The monster towered over the woman; allowing his abusive shadow to engulf her. She held her ground but even Raditz could feel the fear reek out of her fragile figure. With a brave deep breath, the woman verbally fought back at her enemy "Get out of my way!" She demanded "I won't let you use Stephen for your evil games."

"Stephen needs me Penelope, with me by his side we shall be able to bring order to this revolting world." The monster replied, "The Guardian Realm, our home had been a paradise of harmony and beauty." The monster showed his clenched bare fangs from the angry outburst he was about to unleash "But thanks to our foolish leaders and our people's obnoxious sense of godhood the Guardian Realm allowed itself to fall into its own self despair and eventual destruction. Only me and Warrior Angel were the only survivors."

"Now this world shall face the same tumour of rumination as mine once did. This I shall not allow!" The monster beseeched in frustration "It is my duty; it is Stephen's duty! To make sure this world, this galaxy all of existence will not be swallowed up by the same disorder as the Guardian Realm foolishly did."

Penelope backed away the expression of anger not once leaving her face "So in order to be hero everyone needed you instead decided to become the dictator they would be terrified off. Listen to yourself Devilicus, this is not what a noble leader would say. You're so desperate into amassing all the powers of your best friend to help you make your own delusions a reality you can't even see what you have lost right in front of."

Penelope's face became sour. If Raditz did not know better, he could have sworn he saw a tear fall from her face. "The worst part of all this is he loved you. You were his brother Devilicus your meant to be by his side. Helping him on his missions, being his confident, making sure he wasn't alone in this world. But really all you were doing was grooming him for your own selfish reasons. You knew being a brother to him is the closest thing you will ever get to achieving Godhood; but that was not good enough though was it. When he rejected down your evil offer the first time, you decided to stop pretending to be the hero. You blacklisted Warrior Angel for not being your fascist lapdog, demonizing him just so you could keep onto the pathic motion you are the saviour we need. You found the Staten Commandment, allowed it to consume anything left that was good about you. Making you the monster you are now." Penelope jabbed harshly at her once good friend "How can you even stand there thinking you're the one in the right after turning you back on the people who truly cared about you?" the reporter demanded to know.

Devilicus snarled viciously back at his ex-friends' girlfriend "This is the world we live in you idiot! Invading aliens, evil warlocks, nuclear bombs that can wipe out entire countries in a matter of seconds. These threats are real. Someone had to take control. Someone must protect humanity from itself!"

"Someone does!" Penelope retaliated back at the turncoat. "Black Dimond, The Mad Bomber, Dr. Blizzard, Captain Slash, Kwiz Kid, Lady Illusion all of them were brought down because of him. Warrior Angel fought them time after time. Not because he wants to be rewarded, not because he wants to be noticed. Stephen fights so the world will not need him to keep fighting. That he was able to help every single person realize that they can be the best versions of themselves. A world where he helped them understand why becoming a criminal is such a waste of life. That is what measures him as a man and what measures you as a rat."

A flash of respect creped out of Raditz as he heard the last sentence of Penelope's speech. Even when she was facing such terrible overwhelming odds, the young reporter still stuck up for the person she honestly believed in. For Raditz hearing her positive proclamation of Warrior Angel reminded him of his brother and anyone else who had backed the Saiyan's corner when he had truly reformed himself. Looking unfortunately once again back on his life as space pirate and his first moments of being on earth. The brother of Goku found himself quite relived to have such a good establishment of family and friends. When he died, during the Saiyan invasion no one had any reason to resurrect him with the Dragon Balls. Yes, he had grown close to Gohan and Piccolo by then but many of the Z fighters his brother included really did not have a real reason to revive him. Raditz's loyalties were still up for question back then, they could have thought it better to leave him dead and reduce the risk of a possible betrayal in the future. Vegeta self-serving actions in pretty much any of the Z fighters' major threats was evidence enough of this possibility. After all, Raditz did get his brother killed in their first meeting.

None of them had any reason to wish him back, yet they did. Now he was a valued member of the team. Made friends with each of the fighters, even re-established a sort of bond with Vegeta. He married the love of his life, became a father of three and gained a lifestyle he never knew he wanted. All because a rag tag group of people saw something positive inside of him that was worth giving a chance on. If he had been denied such a chance, he properly would still be dead in those fields, rotting in hell for eternity as the silver tonged coward he once had been. Always pondering the life, he could have had. Once this mission was over, he would throw a summer barbecue for all of them once he got back home. That was a promise.

Devilicus was unfazed by Penelope's insult. The fallen ally just maintained his vicious glare at his too be victim. The monster was as still as a statue as he contemplated his next vile scheme. He smiled wickedly, which soon progressed to a full blown nasty monstrous laughter. "Such bold words, coming from such a useless twig. It will make it more enjoyable of disposing you." The villain admitted hungrily licking his lips.

Penelope did not flinch from this disgusting response. The young lady knew Devilicus was planning to do something horrible to her. But she knew she could not let up. If she did give in, she would have failed the one she had given her faith and heart too. "You can do whatever you want to me Devilicus, but I won't let you do whatever you want to Stephen. I love him, I believe in him and I will protect him from you. I will find him and tell him you absorbed the Satan Commandment!" She threatened.

Devilicus proceeded to create an item from the dark powers he supposedly gained from this 'Satan Commandment.' It was not a demonic sword; it was not a futuristic laser pistol or any type of supernatural sci fi weapon Raditz tried to think of. To the Saiyan's surprise and curiosity the weapon was a black handgun.

Devilicus pointed the gun squarely on Penelope. "It is a pity Miss Primrose; I had such plans for you. Maybe kidnapping you, turning you into my minion or maybe placing an odd curse upon you. Now after our little conversation I believe you must be removed from the picture…permanently." Devilicus then used his free claw to motion his newly summoned gun "What better weapon of execution then the one our mutual friend has become so accustomed to when fighting the scum of your dirt pile of a planet."

"My planet may have its problems, but it has heroes like Warrior Angel who will defend it from people like you!" You answered back breathlessly. "Stephen will never let you get away with your sick plans."

Devilicus smiled, the same sickly smile Raditz remembered Freiza made with his bluish lips "You will never live to expose me."

"If it's not me it will be someone else, sooner or later you will be exposed for who you really are." Penelope stated fiercely with fire in her voice.

"Well then, allow me to help the two of you be together forever….in your graves!" Devilicus growled savagely as he pressed the cold steel trigger. Allowing the bullet to explode out from the hole of the guns socket. The quickening dying smoke trailing the bullet bewildered both Raditz and Penelope as it coursed forwards without discrimination at its intended target. Freezing both persons in their place, almost like they had been turned to stone.

Raditz didn't know why he did what he did. The Saiyan knew everything he had been experiencing was not real. What he was seeing was simply reruns of a tragedy that had already passed in Warrior Angel's life; shadows and glimpses that could never be changed no matter how hard either of them tried to. Not to mention the fact that the memories he was seeing were not real at all. They were just a playbook written into a fictional character's subconsciousness by the comics author. None of it was truly real even with the curse involved. Nothing here truly had any real consequence or impact in Raditz's life or anyone's life for that matter.

So why did Raditz find himself trying to stop the bullet? The Super Saiyan Blue lunged forwards in desperate panic to stop the instrument of Penelope's death from being played out. This was a mere bullet was it not? The stupid small item would be no match for Raditz's inhuman strength. If he caught it, he could simply crush like an acorn in his hand or if he made himself a human shield the bullet would just bounce off his chest. There was no reason why this attack should go ahead! He was there he could save her; he could save Warrior Angel from this horror. Save the hero from this pain make sure for once the bad guy would not get their way. Freiza, Gero, evil Buu, Zamasu all the bastards he met in life one way or another found a way to hurt him and the people he loved. Raditz was sick of it, this unfairness of the game. Why did good people like his brother, the Z fighters, Warrior Angel have to suffer so much for doing the right thing? Sure, the Dragon Balls helped but even they could not bring back every single loss. Android 16, Grampa Gohan, Raditz's pare…

"NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" A mortified tearful scream tore its way through the rainy city. Stopping Raditz in his tracks. The Super Saiyan Blue didn't even see the bullet pass through his transparent figure. Then it happened, a piercing hole just physically formed on Penelope's dress. The reporters face was emotionless. Only eyes made an expression as they widened. Her breathing became harder, sterner a simple task which had become a pure difficulty for the young lady to work at.

Raditz gasped seeing the amount of red blood sliver down from Penelope's bullet wound onto her black office dress. Raditz was never a stranger to such wounds, none the less this scene truly did make the veteran warrior's heart bounce in all the sharp edges of his rib cage. Even a little tear fell from his eye.

Penelope's pupils started to roll up, her skin lost its natural warm colour becoming greyer from the coldness brought on by the loss of blood. She finally lost her balance, as she started to fall backwards. Raditz was about to catch her, to stop her from hitting the wet gravel. He did not care if he were transparent, he could not bear the idea of this innocent woman being exposed to any further mistreatment.

Thankfully to Raditz's relive, someone would beat him to this obligation. The person who had made the dreadful scream seconds before turned out to be Warrior Angel himself. The superhero flew in with lightspeed to catch his beloved Penelope right in his arms. Cradling his beautiful girlfriend to his chest allowing hot fresh tears to leave eyes blue eyes and silver domino mask as he collapsed unconsciously onto knees. Not caring if her blood stained his sky-blue suit, clenching his teeth in agony from the grief and shock of the nightmare which had just transpired before him.

The Superhero's nostrils filled up snot, He tried to stop his body from shaking but his shattered emotional nerves overpowered anything that could be considered mentally stable for the hero. Warrior Angel tried to scream, a desperate attempt to release the incredible pain from his now broken soul. Unfortunately, for all his invisibility Warrior Angel found his throat had dried up. Not one drop of saliva could be felt on his dried-up gums.

"Ste—ph-en" A jiggered tired voice tried to reach Warrior Angel's ears. The superhero still teary eyed regained some sense and looked at the precious dying jewel in his arms. Penelope looked awful; her skin colour had deflated to a cold grey shade. Her once glistening eyes were becoming an arduous challenge the reporter to keep open.

Warrior Angel with great force ripped off his domino mask from his face. Not caring if a bystander saw him, if these were to be the last moments the couple were to have together, the superhero wanted his beloved to be able to see him through his true-blue eyes. Nothing to be shielded or hidden from her. None the less even now mask less, it did not stop the tears watering down. If anything, his sorrowful crying had only become a handful stronger.

"I'm here, I am here Penelope." Warrior Angel shakily muttered out from his mouth like a mistreated pup. "I…I am so sorry." The hero, whispered hollowly from his lips "I never meant to let you down like this" Warrior Angel answered with blunt harshness "This is my fault isn't? It has always been my fault, ever since I came into this world all I ever did was cause agony for everyone who bothered to love me. My Parents, my friends and especially you."

"You always where there for me. The day we first met in Pre-School you were by my side before I even you knew how much I needed you. You protected me; in those first days I was the weird kid…the lonely kid. I was an alien, not just because of the powers but because I did not know how to connect with people. I always found people to be an oddity. Being good, being naughty, being into the latest trends. I just could not click with any of it. I was just the quite bold kid that for a while most people only expected the worst from. All because I didn't know how to fit in with the crowd." Warrior Angel admitted painfully looking back at his awkward childhood.

Warrior Angel smiled a sad but still gentle smile "Then you came into the class one day, at first I just thought you were just another kid. That you were just going to be the like the others. When Mrs Moult decided to sit you next to me, I was beyond nervous. This sweet little flower from out of the blue sitting right next to a weird twit like me. I just told myself to keep the distance, keep up the standard routine up. Don't get attached, don't get close don't do anything stupid that would only lead to a bad memory I would be dammed with when I'm older."

"But thankfully you wouldn't let me have my way." The comic book hero confessed sweetly "Even at the age of four you had a such clever instincts, you could see I was in danger of myself. For all my acts at being anti-social you knew how to call out my dumb bluff. You protected me from becoming a true freak that day. Not by growing two more arms or by being placed in a tank of acid, but by making sure I learned how not be unloved."

"I owe you so much Penelope, as a kid to me you were my real hero. You are all I really have left; you gave me something to believe in. You gave me hope. You are the reason I had enough of a spine to become the man I am today. If it were not for you, I would not be strong enough to wear this suit." The Hero admitted passionately "Working with you in the Jupiter Quotidian, investigating all those scoops for the newspaper, always helping me to get up on the days where I fell down so hard." That last part pushed Warrior Angel further below with his heartache "My time with you, made my life an absolute pleasure not an obligation. Not a curse."

"Now thanks to my brainlessness I've lost for good. I should have listened to you, you tried to warn me that Devilicus was crossing over. To be wary of him, I was too unsighted by my friendship with the mentor he had been to fully see what he was turning into. To see what he was planning, my deafness was paid with your life." The hero murmured forcibly feeling his tongue had tied "Now, I do not know what to do. I don't know how to fight him; I don't even know if I can fight him…not without you…...not after everything we been through" Warrior Angel blurted out sobbingly as he buried his head into her stomach.

Raditz finally understood why he felt so attached to the tragic setting before him, The Saiyan had played this act all before. Not by reading the comic but rather living through this pain himself during his childhood. The long haired Saiyan eyes saw this unfortunate trio through a different perspective. The hero, the villain and the dyeing girlfriend while in the same poses had been replaced by a different series of characters.

Raditz's eight-year-old self-taking stage of the grieving hero, Freiza's first form taking the place of the demonic gun wielding villain. Wearing his usual sadistic self-pleasing smile on his lizard like face. Penelope's dyeing body, swapped with a nightmarish projection that channelled itself into the form of a bullet holed corpse of Raditz's gentle mother Gine. Being held in the same melancholier manor by his eight-year-old self. Raditz backed away, feeling actual fright from the mental apparition before him. Breathing harder and more fiercely from witnessing this fusion of tragedies form his own life and the recent crime committed against Warrior Angel.

Raditz lowered the shades of his eyes wearily. For all his macho, the one key weakness to his character had been sadly his life. Or rather memories of the man and child he had been. For the most part the Saiyan had been able to keep this deficiency under control. Unfortunately, he would suffer a momentary relapse now and then. For the Saiyan's own personal sake, he was relived he was not having an episode. Unfortunately, his brain still wanted to torture him with glimpses of one.

Warrior Angel's sobbing came to a sudden halt. Tears still fell down his cheeks, but his face and shaken demeanour had been overcome a small once of calmness. Raditz was bewildered from the downed tone in the weeping hero. How could he calm down from such a shock? Raditz explored the scene, trying his best to detect any modifications done in this fictional world and its characters.

"Its okay Stephen." A virtuous tender voice echoed to all three spectators' ears. With whatever strength the unadulterated reporter had left within her, she used to advance her hand onto the right side of Warrior Angels cheek. The hero looked down to see his cherished sweetheart, through all the loss of blood and week figure. Penelope still manged to draw a light smile, "I could never ever feel anything but adoration for you."

Warrior Angel used his free hand to take hold of the one she used to touch his face "But how can you? It's because of my negligence that I'm going to lose for good." The hero barked.

"Shhhh." Penelope gently chided her boyfriend "Ever since I was a little girl, I wanted to believe in something. I wanted to believe in someone. The first day we met at school, I knew there was something special about you. It wasn't the super strength or the flying or any of that. Your powers where just fancy gimmicks to me, they were not what made you. What made you the hero you are now is that you were kind, for all your distances back then you understood what it meant to be loved. You just felt like a genuine person that I could relate to since we had similar feelings. You just felt real and authentic unlike a lot of people I knew in my life." The reporter disclosed for her dearest angel.

Her breathing began to expire, the strong-willed reporter knew her biological hourglass was starting run out of the sand which was her life "Stephen, it is going to be hard for you. You will feel alone feel like your trapped in solitude. You won't know how to breck free from it no matter how hard you try." Penelope used her free hand to grab the once casted away domino mask. "But whatever happens, whatever ever happens please always remember that…that." She coughed out some final gasps of blood from her mouth.

Warrior Angel tightened his hold of her to his chest. Face filled with distress of the inevitable that he knew would be nearing soon. Penelope placed the mask back onto her beloved's face "Always remember, you must always be the better of the silver lining." She pressed with her final breath as her eyes closed for the final time.

Warrior Angel lost his breath. The man found himself to have lost his voice, his sensibility, his harmony. Anything which had ever kept Stephen Swift grounded on the plain he conceived as normality. The only thoughts which passed through his head was ever single memory and moment of Penelope Primrose. Pre-school, High school, their school dances, every birthday and Christmas present given and received from one another, anytime they visited the other house for play dates or just to hang out. When he dared to reveal his powers to her. When she cradled him with open arms during the worst days of his career as a superhero. When they shared their first kiss. All these memories fast-forwarded, and play backed right before him in a chaotic speed.

Until finally they all shattered out from his broken mindset, once Warrior Angel realized the cursed devastation which had befallen him. After a few seconds of this dreaded comprehension was finally unleashed out of Warrior Angel, when the hero busted out a destroyed saddening cry out so loud even the Kai's could have heard it.

The upcoming fleeting minutes were an appalling few moments of mental incarceration for Stephen Swift, the superhero was trapped in a world of pure calamity. Denial, sorrow and frustration engrossed Warrior Angel. The one small-scaled rational part of Warrior Angel's current outlook was currently praying this misery never had taken shape in his unfortunate reality. Yet, it seemed this evening would not allow Warrior Angels' suffering to be finalized with just the murder of his childhood sweetheart.

The brute who had passed this cruel felony found the ghastly need to thrust dishonourably deeper further into his former friends broken heart "Well I did warn the bitch." Devilicus slighted causing Warrior Angel's eyes to stetch with a silent ferocity.

"She couldn't bother to see the sensible measures that needed to be taken, in order to save this deficient world from the same feeble fate the Guardian Realm so irresponsibly allowed itself to be overtaken by. Now that she is finally gone, we can finally work together in cleansing the vile inadequacy that has surrounded earth for far too long." Devilicus outlined for his former student, his announcement verbalized with nothing but complete affectless. The villain truly could not care less for the misfortune he had carried out against Warrior Angel. The once mentor had truly gone to the dark side.

Raditz found the villains recent words to be nothing but revolting. How Devilicus treated Penelope like an inconvenient bug which needed to be swatted away. Not caring or seining how much he had ruined his former best friends' life. Only being concerned about his own tyrannical goals and cloyed sense of justice. The evildoer really was like Freiza, both creatures were destructive maniacs who cared about their own evil ambitions and didn't care whose lives they needed to ruin in order to achieve their revolting desire.

While everything which was transpiring had been a reply from memory, one could argue Warrior Angel in that precise nanosecond was thinking the same vexed thoughts as his invisible observer had been. "How could you?" Warrior Angel coldly forthrightly asked his former friend "I worked with you, listened to you and trusted you...I saw you as my brother. And you took her away me?" Warrior Angel coldly interrogated.

Devilicus was not capable of even pretending to be phased by his ex-comrades emotional prodding. "She was just a barrier Stephen, no different to the fools who ignored your real fathers warning of the upcoming genocide to our home world. The dullards we have been plagued to protect must be kept in line for the betterment of their own welfare. You know this truth anytime you had to deal with one of this planets mongrels Stephen."

Warrior Angel turned away from his former friend. Feeling nauseous by the mere sight of Devilicus, "When I found you in suspended animation, in that cryogenic emergency transport from our home world. I felt so relieved, that I was not the only survivor of the Guardian Realm. I was no longer alone; I found this kindred spirit. The Aerodrome my biological farther created for me, it had libraries of vast information about our people. But meeting you, someone who lived among them daily. Someone who knew my real parents. Who could tell me who they really were, brought me so much closer to knowing who I really was? You made me feel less like an alien Devilicus." Warrior Angel honestly disclosed for his ex-mentor.

Warrior Angel snarled murderously "So I ask you again. HOW COULD YOU DO THIS!?" The hero lashed out "I made allowances for your ideas of dominating justice because I thought you were hurting, traumatized from losing the Guardian Realm. Penelope warned me you were changing; you were losing yourself to your own brainwashing. The moron I was, allowing my affection to make me unsighted to how far I utterly Lost you."

"I needed to take the correct steps." Devilicus replied oppressively.

"They weren't the right steps Devilicus. The Satan Commandment is evil, it was created from evil for evil. No good will ever come from it. Allowing yourself to be intoxicated by it has doomed us all. You knew I would never use it, so you tricked me and the Justice Guild to go off world. Making a deal with the Injustice Guild behind our backs. You gave them Guardian Realm tech; in a fortnight those maniacs were planning to ransom off the sun. In return they stole for you the Satan Commandment. Now look at you, you have turned into the monster you swore you would me protect the guiltless from." Warrior Angel charged Devilicus with.

"She found out though." Warrior Angel commented inconsolably, once more looking at the dead body of his love. "She discovered the deal you made. How you ticked us to going to space so none one who could be able to stop you from absorbing the commandment. That trap is the whole reason she is dead right now, why I was incapable able to save her in time. Save her from your cruelty." Warrior Angel sniffled doing his hardest not to yowl out any more tears.

"My cruelty? MY Cruelty?" Devilicus answered with a mocking smile filled with degeneracy "What about your selfishness? You were the one who didn't want to step up Stephen! The one who wanted to sulk his bold head in the shadows and allow another planet to destroy itself. You say I am a monster, you, the Grey Ghost and the rest of the Justice Guild. You just treat your gifts like a game. Catching the bad guy, stopping their diabolical plans and then lock them up until they meet bail and decide to start the whole mess again. Tell Warrior Angel, how many people died because you wanted to play hero? For allowing chaos to roam free so you could have an excuse to feel good about yourself for a couple of small minutes? You failed Stephen; I am bothering to succeed." Devilicus declared to the superhero.

"Killing won't bring order Devilicus, it will only lead to the foundations of more chaos! Children idolise and look up to us. Trust us to teach them by example the right thing. If we kill, if we ever try to turn a blind eye to the law just because we think its for the greater good. They will take that as the prime reality in terms of doing the right thing. They won't be able to tell the different between peace and anarchy." Warrior Angel adjured to the newly established criminal.

"What you see as Chaos, I see as needed progress." Devilicus stubbornly rebutted "You chose to hide your true value from the humans, rather be their vital ruler you chose to be their useless blur. I will not make the same the mistakes you have made." Devilicus walked closer to Warrior Angel in a threatening manor "The time we spent together, I thought we would both become the greatest of men... because of our brotherhood. Now it seems I must per take this task on my noble shoulders alone. This is my duty!"

Warrior Angel stood up, feeling his backbone order him to make his point of view known. His best friends' betrayal, the death of the woman he loved. Nothing would ever be the same again after today. Nonetheless Penelope's final words echoed through the superhero's hell-bent thoughts. Eyeing his now grievous rival in his monstrous eyes Warrior Angel made his stand "Likewise, it will be my duty to always be there to stop you Devilicus. You were once my friend but now…. You are my sworn enemy. I will defeat you!" Warrior Angel proclaimed at his now corrupted advisory.

As Devilicus listened to his rival's speech, the villain upheld his intimidating expression-less pose. Still, Raditz was not sure or not but he thought he could detect a small crumble of despair inside of Devilicus once the hero's declaration had ended. Perhaps, to Raditz personally. There was a part of Devilicus which suffered from regret of the murder he had committed and the friend he had lost. Raditz, guessed this possibility due to himself feeling such guilt when his little brother died twice.

"It seems we both have made our pact with destiny. Each other's hero and nemesis, if you believe she will be the last person to die for you. Think again, when you are destined to save mankind, you are destined to be alone. A lesson it seems we both have learned…. TODAY!" The deformed monster squawked revealing to both a shocked Warrior Angel and Raditz a demonic looking pointy ended tail from under his robes. With a fearsome yell Devilicus stabbed his now certain enemy in the back.

Warrior Angel screamed in agony as he been knocked down to the ground by a throbbing pain from his backside. Devilicus bowed down and grabbed the back of the tortured hero's menacingly "Do not worry, we shall have many defining moments to come Stephen Swift. Until we meet again, take the time to enjoy the parting gifts, I have left you CLOWN!" The turned demon slighted one last time in this fictional evening at his ex-friend.

Devilicus used his new powers to open a dark shadowy portal before, slamming Warrior Angel's head into the road before exiting the scene.

Radiz about to react to the situation, either by chasing after Devilicus or by comforting Warrior Angel. What the Saiyan did not know was that the choices he thought were available to him had been already made. Before Raditz could make his move, a stern powerful white light overtook the confused Saiyan. Engulfing him whole as this world evaporated before him.

Beacon Hill – The Real World

Raditz still in his Super Saiyan Blue form, backed away from Warrior Angel's befallen body. A bit somewhat dazed from after reading the comic books hero's mind. The brother of Goku sauntered down to a near by rock. Setting his left hand down on the stone, allowing some tense weight to leave him and some needed rest to enter him.

As Raditz took the short time to regain his bearings, Warrior Angel like his transformed opponent. Rose up from the wet grassy earth in a stride. Once he was up and about, the hero turned his view away from the Saiyan. So, he could take the time to recuperate from the mind meld without dealing with any unwanted questions from his combatant.

Ten minutes of hot sweaty breathing, poured out from the two fighters. Raditz in his time of rest only gazed at Warrior Angel's backside. Trying to formulate the right next course of actions, like any true Saiyan Raditz wanted to fight. Especially against an opponent who appeared to be truly invincible in power. Although what made Raditz different from most other Saiyans, was that he had a brain on his shoulders. The key words being invincible, indestructible, invulnerable and mostly unbeatable.

These words had been scratched within the mind of Raditz. In the short time he met and fought the living superhero and seeing some of his tragic past, Raditz started to understand fighting was not going to resolve this current threat.

No, the truth of the matter was that Warrior Angel could keep on fighting no matter what. The comic book hero would never sweat, never need to take a snack or even get to a point of pure exhaustion. The superhero would just keep going. This was not a compliment it was a mere fact. Whatever fictional species he belonged to, they seemed to lack any limitations at all. Warrior Angel may have a weakness, but it did not transfer with him to real world so Raditz could not make that his plan B whatever the supposed weakness may have been.

While Raditz did have limitations. Even though he unlocked the mastered grade of Super Saiyan Blue, his KI would be depleted sooner or later on flight, power blasts and any other super techniques. Eventually, he would get worn out from the battle. Both his normal and God KI would be all used up, giving Warrior Angel the set up to destroy the Saiyan.

For a little while Raditz could only see the hero's back, he was smart enough to tell he never needed time to recover. Mentally yes but not physically. Raditz scoffed at himself, today had been nothing more than another bizarre day in his long life. Going to a black-market bazar, having a brawl with an annoying peddler, then later having a second fight with a brought to life comic book character and later seeing his whole tragic backstory.

After all that massive amount of misplaced unexpectedness, Raditz now found himself doing the one thing he never once ever expected to use as a fighting strategy. Inhaling his last revied breath, Raditz forced himself off the rock he had previously slumped on and made his way to his broken adversary. Preparing himself to do the one thing he thought he would never use as a battle plan, try to settle his enemy down by chatting to him.

Radtiz strolled slowly forwards, until he made it to Warrior Angels left side. Neither man turning to face one another, thankfully Raditz had the stomach to make the first move on his foe. "From your current conduct, I guess you were somehow aware that I was in your head?" Raditz summarised straightforwardly.

Warrior Angel would not give Raditz the satisfaction of a verbal response, merely nodded candidly while still being unbending in his solitude like posture.

Raditz sighed irritably, wishing Gohan, Yamcha or even his own daughter was here in his place. Anyone who knew how to talk to people the Saiyan wished was here at this moment. The last time he tried to converse with an opponent was in his duel with Vegeta when the Saiyan Prince had discovered Super Saiyan four, but their assaults on another had taken most of their time that day before the two found clarity to settle their differences. What made this situation different from that past confrontation, was because the two Saiyan comrades had beaten the absolute pulp out of each other before they willing to converse with one another. It had been the final option, not the main one as it was here.

Still, like his younger brother. Raditz had gained a set of understandings of human interactions, he was married to one after all. Then it hit Raditz, Launch his wife. When she had been killed by Super Buu, the twins, all his friends and family transformed into candy. Of course, rage and sadness seethed within his skin from the loss he endured that day. Yet it was not as bad as Warrior Angels. The key reason for why was mainly because of the Dragon Balls. What was left of Z Fighters that day only needed to defeat Buu and have Sheron bring everyone back from the dead through his powers of wishing. Death, one of the most monotonous aspects of nature. Surprisingly, did not have as much consequence to the Saiyan due to the Dragon Balls. Raditz and the rest of his allies own luxurious cheat code of life.

Stephen Swift on the other hand, did not have this luxury. The comic book world where he resigned in did not have Dragon Balls, or any items to that could bring back the dead. If the story did, Raditz would doubt the superhero would be in the damming pain he was now. When Warrior Angel held Penelope for the last time, it truly had been the final time for the hero. All for the naive reason that the comic book hero put his trust in a serpent of a traitor, he once believed was his best friend.

Warrior Angel was paying for such a bad irreversible call of judgement, a choice both men knew could never be redeemed no matter how many misdeeds and crimes the hero attempted to toil ever so hard to prevent on a daily occurrence in his world. Living, everyday with the memory of the time he utterly failed in the costumed career the hero had taken up for his fellow man. A feeling many of the Z fighters endured many unlucky times over in their lives. In the same manner, the unexpected group of heroes also had their own moments of overcoming their despair. Whether it be thanks to the Dragon Balls or simply having a gentle hand of someone who cared about them ease their uneasy second in lift.

"It, was not your fault Stephen." Raditz responded, affably to the struggling hero.

Warrior Angel, shaken up by the sympathetic words which had departed from the brother of Goku's mouth. It was not because the Saiyan knew the real identity of the man of daily courage, but rather due to how much Warrior Angel truly wished to believe in such words. To allow himself to be unchained from the current depression, which was destroying him, destroying everything the hero had ever put his faith in.

"It was my fault!" Warrior Angel snapped in retaliation to the reformed Saiyan. "The Aerodrome, the base my farther left for me. My supposed lair." The hero ridiculed sarcastically "A floating shrine, decorated with artifacts from a dead world. The Satan Commandment being one of those dam relics. Devilicus, he used me! Sucked up to me, made me think my people were something. That I was worth something!" Warrior Angel crunched out bitterly.

"All, he ever wanted was a lapdog." Stephen admitted while failing to calm himself down at the same time "A wepon by his side to put the world under an oppressive lockdown. So, like a spoiled little boy when he did not get his way, he stole the most dangerous artifact under my dumb excuse of so-called custody. Became a beast both in every possible way and stole the only person who ever kept me sane!" Warrior Angel howled in his self-loathing tantrum.

"Which was his fault, not yours!" Raditz tried to push in "Like you said, he used you. He used everyone in your world in your relationships. Don't you think I was screwed over by someone I trusted? Someone who I thought was worth it!" Raditz hammered in "Believe me, it pisses me off. He kept screwing up badly. Namek, the Androids, the Majin slaves, when he kept making jibes at me in our last fight. So many times, I got tired by Vegeta's egotistical shit!" Raditz didn't care if Warrior Angel did not who the Saiyan was referring to, the former comrade would continue his argument.

Raditz relaxed, all but sternly "When ever he went off the rails, it hurt me. It hurt his family, the man had almost pretty much everything you could want in life. A title, a high-class style of life both on our native planet and on earth. A wife and a son, you name it. So, anytime he played traitor it both angered me and confused me. How could someone who had everything still felt that 'being the best' gave him any meaning in his life? Even with our people's ideology about strength, Vegeta somehow could still make you ask this question." Raditz stated, looking back on his past life he endured with the prince, in order to create this analysis. Mainly as their shaky alliance paralleled with Warrior Angel's current relationship with Devilicus. A man, who was obsessed with power and a misguided idea of standing, that they would be willing to anything no matter how morally questionable to obtain such infamous greatness. Even if it required them to backstab the ones who love them.

"So, why is he still around?" Warrior Angel glumly retorted "This Vegeta? From the sounds of it, if he really was such an unpredictable burden to you, why not just kill him and spare so many 'normal' good people his daily abuse? Yourself included." Warrior Angel snubbed like a pouty teenager "From where I'm standing it sounds like you all would be better off if you did kill him in your last match."

"I don't think I could do that. Even after all the times he truly made me consider that be an option." Raditz admitted softly "Every time, he played the Judas card. Every time showed how nasty of a creature he really could be. Was every time I saw the brother I grew up with." Raditz answered eyeing the scenery with a small positive smile "Vegeta and me, love it or hate it we were bound. Childhood, scouting, enemies, the immigration to earth, our families. We are connected and no matter how many times he liked to put me down, to show how much he despised me. I knew inside there was someone who was genuinely good. Who did care and regretted the crimes he had committed? For each time he was a pain in my rear, there was a time when he truly did have my back."

"After years of struggle, I was finally able to bring out this enclosed Vegeta in our last fight. To put it bluntly, he woke up. I mean he really woke up, he finally understood what he was losing by leaching onto his petty ambitions." Raditz summarised "Now, for whatever reason if he did decide to take the title of King… I believe after all these years, Vegeta finally did earn his crown. Not by his power or status but by being a man his wife and son could look up to. A man who helped create a new era for the Saiyans."

The comic book hero sneered angrily at his opponent's speech "You sound so naïve, sure he may have a couple of good days, but sooner or later I can assure you he will relapse back to his old habits. By allowing him to walk free, anyone else you decided to have a second chance. They will eventually stab you in the back and destroy something so precious to you."

Warrior Angel sneered monstrously, loosing his noble complexion. Morphing his posture from hero to thug. "Its thanks to morons like you who believe in such fairy-tale like garbage. Good people who need to pay the price daily for your 'Forgiveness'" The superhero berated harshly.

Raditz eyed the man in front him calmly. No anger, no frustration just a stale expression on his face.

"What?" Warrior Angel asked in a rude obnoxious manor. "Don't have a morale speech to give me?"

Raditz frowned as his nostrils flared in and released out tensely "I won't dare pretend to know her; I won't insult your grief in such a vulgar way." Raditz responded his tone of voice matching an army sergeant.

"If you have something to say…. say it!" Warrior Angel urged threateningly pushing his face into Raditz's eye view.

"If Penelope were here…. she would be ashamed; anyone would be if they knew they had gotten killed for a hypocrite all of people." Raditz stated bluntly. "A hypocrite who made her love him."

Any strings which had restrained Stephen back in this fight had been cut, daggers seared out from his eyes, in way one would think his domino mask would have burned off from the newly founded rage.

No words were spoken as Warrior Angel slung his fist straight into his Raditz's face, forcing the Super Saiyan Blue to be flung towards one of the ancient rocks. Smashing the stone into a million pieces from the impact as Raditz laid flat sided in his new miniature quarry. Groaning from the force of the hit.

Warrior Angel while reforming back to a still like posture, made his feelings known through his own facial expressions or rather his mouth. Teeth jeering out from his jaws like an addict trying to hunt for his next dose of heroin. He looked nothing like the hero Raditz had witnessed in the covers of the comic book. Rather he looked like a man who just betrayed everyone and everything he vowed he stood for.

"You don't know anything! I did everything for everyone! They made me Warrior Angel, they made me want to do the right thing, they made me want to be naïve enough to think I could change the world. Fuck…they did everything for me! Then I lost her!" Warrior Angel cried out in anguish "I knew I wouldn't be rewarded. I knew I would even be hated for doing the right thing by who were my enemies and even those I was meant to protect. She was the only person who made it bearable for me. To step into the ugliness of life and come back." Warrior Angel squeezed his hand into a fist as he spoke his engrailed confession.

"I never expected a reward. I never wanted one. You never do in this job, when you're doing the right thing, you simply keep getting the worst part of the deal. I knew this, my friends knew this, but she didn't. Her reward was getting killed by that bastard and I'm sick of…..!" Suddenly Warrior Angel's verbal assault ended in a strange, surprising stop.

The Superhero froze in his place, his skin palling like he was gaining the flu. His throat drying up of any moisture. His breaths, becoming harder and less rhythmic. Warrior Angel didn't know what to do. His mind trying to contemplate a solution to his current predicament. From all these bizarre aliments the core pain came from his back, a strange dark burning intensifying with every passing second.

Through out all this horrible condition, all the superhero could think about was his dearly beloved. Her face, her hair and her wonderful dress. Memories he treasured above anything else in his life. Golden memories being blackened out of his mind like burned photos.

Warrior Angel screamed again, a horrible nightmarish sickly roar. A darkish purple misty flame engulfed his body. Burning his suit, his mask and the winged W on his chest. Raditz staggery got up using the rocks as a type of walking bars.

The Saiyan's eyes widened from the dark events which beheld him since he had been knocked out. Taken back from the surprised horror in front of him. When feeling Warrior Angel's aura, the Saiyan quickly was taken back from the pure negativity being generated out from the comic book character. Anger and resentment were taking over Warrior Angel, slaughtering the empathy out from his personality.

Soon, at long last the hellish blackfire started to simmer down. A devil like figure slowly emerged out from the remains of the flames. At first Raditz feared that this new danger could have been Devilicus, the colour schemes of these jaded supernatural occurrences were the same colour as the villains' hellish powers when he used them to create the gun. Another reason why Raditz suspected such an outcome was the comic books curse, bringing to live the characters who dwelled within its covers. While Baba assured him the curse would only bring out Warrior Angel, Raditz knew magic was unpredictable for all he knew the curse could adapt to live even more characters from that world. Such a concept agonized Raditz, he already had to deal with a seriously discouraged superhero, he didn't need to add a supervillain to the mix.

Yet however when the brother of Goku focussed his vision more on the new figure. To his horror he soon realized this new danger was in fact Warrior Angel. Or rather a corrupted monstrosity of the comic book character.

Warrior Angel had truly changed from his colourful prior appearance, the blue of his suit and his pure white mask had degraded into an abysmal black. Red lines edged throughout his suit like a skeleton, while a silver squared pauldron had been formed around his neck, with a red simple W stamped in the front. The biggest change brought on by this deformed transformation came from Warrior Angel's back. His noble red cape had been replaced by two giant crimson devil wings. The skin converted from Caucasian white to a sickly paled shade with blood red veins squeezing out from his skin as if he were a zombie. As the corrupted hero released a cold unfeeling breath from his mouth. His new horrible wings flattered nastily like a vampire bat, examining the potential prey around him.

Raditz could only gawk, in a single couple of seconds. Warrior Angel had traded his child inspiring outfit for a real-life Beelzebub Halloween suit. It didn't make sense? Did he have this power in the comics?

It then hit Raditz, when he saw Warrior Angel's memories of the night his girlfriend died. From all the chaos which had transpired during the flashback, there had been one key moment Raditz had downplayed as insignificant. Just one quick scene, just one unnoticeable moment, just one small detail that had passed by him.

The scene when Devilicus had stabbed his heroic rival by his tail.

From what Raditz could have gathered from the trivia lesson given to him by the fiend, this 'Satan Commandment' was an evil artifact which had caused Devilicus to transform literally into a heartless demon. Allowing him to become a physical embodiment of all his inner negative emotions.

So, what if the powers from the commandment could be transferred? What if when he stabbed Warrior Angel in the back without realizing it had transferred a fraction of his dark powers into his former best friend? Not the entirety of the evil power, but enough for the superhero to fall victim to a horrible transformation when pushed to an exteme emotional limit.

The idea did make some sense to Raditz after his own experience with the great ape and even Super Saiyan transformations. Yet on the other hand this still was a different transformation, one with its own set of rules. All the Saiyan could think now was the upgraded threat level his opponent posed. If this transformation was created through a high level of negative feelings, then for sure this fight had become far more deadly than it originally had been.

The brother of Goku, flushed out a barrage of small blue lighting streaks out of his aura. Allowing the Godly power to surge throughout him. Gaining the eyes of a hunter, Raditz took flight and went straight at Warrior Angel in the same speed as death beam.

Unfortunately, before the Super Saiyan Blue could even lie a blow, Warrior Angel with ease grabbed his neck while Raditz was a mere inch away from his adversary. Raditz struggled the best he could to escape for his physical captivity… the Saiyan froze in a silent fear, feeling a searing burning pain flare from his stems. Blood easily escaped mouth like vomit, the Saiyan could barely hold it in.

Warrior Angel preserved his torturing without a sign regret. Just eyeing the Saiyan, as if he were an ant. A small ant he wanted to stamp down.

Raditz, felt the air leave his windpipes. His neck feeling more like it was incarcerated by a miniature iron maiden. Even as a full powered Super Saiyan Blue, Warrior Angel's unholy transformation was indeed a step up from his prior form. Raditz knew the man didn't have a limit but now the man didn't have any humanity to keep him grounded at all.

Warrior Angel threw Raditz into the air, his body circling unresponsively like a drunk skydiver. Raditz still dazed from the bloody assault didn't have tome time to react to the dark fist coming towards his face. As soon as the fist, contacted Raditz's face, a freight train of universal pain broke into the Saiyan's jawline, the bones of his mouth had been reduced to gravel. What was the last straw which finally broke the Saiyan's concentration making the brother of Goku revert into his base form. Warrior Angel grabbed the tail of his Saiyan opponent and tied it around Raditz's neck strangling the Saiyan.

For a good couple of minutes Warrior Angel kept the hold around Raditz's neck. Raditz tried his best to squirm out of his position. His arms and legs shaking uncontrollably due to his suffocation. Warrior Angel released the tail allowing Raditz to finally breath, but Raditz's moment of relive only lasted a second before Warrior Angel grabbed his arms. Using all his supernatural strength to put on an abnormal amount pressure on the Saiyans arm bones. Until two loud cracks echoed, Raditz screamed in horrific agony no longer feeling his arms.

Warrior Angel released Raditz, the still screaming Saiyan crashed into the centre of the field. Raditz tired to use his legs to get up, the only parts of his body he could still feel. His arms waved around like he was a puppet dummy. His Ki exhausted out of him the crippled Saiyan tried to run away on foot. One loud thud stopped him in his place, Warrior Angel kicked Raditz in his leg, another bone breaking and another great pain coursing for the Saiyan. Raditz clenched his teeth as he fell backwards harshly onto the soil.

Raditz, in a futile attempt tried to use his last working leg to crawl to pretty much anywhere where he could be safe from the rouge hero. Sadly, even this transaction was halted by Warrior Angel who landed on top of the bloodied Saiyan, Raditz gulped seeing the stony-hearted eyes popping out from the black mask. Warrior Angel pushed Raditz back roughly, causing the Saiyan wounds to cry out more so. The corrupted superhero laid on top of Raditz in a predatory like fashion.

Warrior Angel, a man who in the real world had been regarded as a wonderful icon for children everywhere through his various comics. Began to beat the living shit out of Raditz. It was Strike after strike, a series of uncaring blows smashing the Saiyan's face apart into an ugly mess. Within a few seconds Raditz's face had been torn apart from this relentless abuse. His left eye, jaw, nose had all been swelled up into heavy bloodied lumps. A few of his teeth even had been sprawled out of his mouth to the curve thanks to the beatings. Worst part was the assault didn't stop, even after all these horrendous injuries Warrior Angel didn't relent from his nightmare of a thrashing, Raditz was sure the comic book anti hero would not stop until was dead. Or worse persist beating up his corpse even after he had died.

Raditz now was just begging for this nightmare to stop, he took everything back about being bored at the bazar. Forget that he took everything back about being bored about anything. He would gladly do the most trivial of tasks if it meant he could be freed from this cold torture. As a Saiyan he had been trained and taught to endure pain, a lesson he showed time and time again in his past adventures. Unfortunately, he was not taught how a Saiyan could adapt to pain when they had reached the absolute limit of their endurance.

The Saiyan's vision began to slowly fade away from him, everything around him started to become blurred. Even the black gloved punches started to fade away from Raditz's vision. Raditz could already feel his life leaving him. With each powerful bang from Warrior Angel led to a draining loss of a heartbeat from the brother of Goku.

All Raditz could think about was what he was going to lose in the aftermath. As the pain rushed throughout his body several memories flashed played before him. Coming to earth, meeting his brother and his family, finding the love of his life in the form of Launch, having three wonderful children, making peace with Vegeta and so many wonderful moments. Moments he would never get again. Moments which would be denied to him and the rest of his loved ones thanks to his death. It wasn't fair! All he did was a stupid favour for Baba, how the hell did this day transpire to his death sentence! He had come so far in his life from being the lapdog, now after all the relationships, the powers the whole dam journey of making himself a better person. Was it all going to crash down by a comic book character?

"NO!" Raditz screamed out with spits of blood pouncing out from his broken jaw. Grunting with his bloodied teeth Raditz went Super Saiyan one. Feeling a new adrenaline of strength race through his broken body. Raditz used his damaged hands to halt the attack from Warrior Angel.

Warrior Angel gnawed in anger showing his newly fanged teeth. Keeping at bay was a true challenge for Raditz, while true he gained a power boost, he wasn't naïve enough to know it wouldn't last long especially at this Super Saiyan level. Already he could feel Warrior Angel began to break free from his protective grip. Despite this Raditz didn't give in, not now. Goku, Ranch, Daikon, Mooli, Launch, Vegeta, Trunks, Goten, Gohan, the Z fighters, the Briefs, The Ox King and Chi-Chi. If he died, they would be left to deal with this mess. A mess he had foolishly allowed to get out of hand. To hell with compromising, Warrior Angel actions no longer could be seen with forgiving eyes. The Superhero had allowed himself to become an indestructible monster a threat to everyone Raditz held dear. If he needed to kill this demonic bastard than so dam, be it as far was the Saiyan concerned.

As Raditz was contemplating these counterbalanced feelings, what the Saiyan once again failed to take notice off was a small dark aura coming out of Warrior Angel's demonic back. The aura acted like a scorpion, examining both men in action. Trying to pinpoint how exactly to plan its strike. Looking at Raditz in his current predicament, the aura could feel his anger. His frustration from the situation, the fear he felt of what could lose, the fury of how he would go to survive.

If the parasite had a mouth, it surely would have watered from the newly developed negativity. Warrior Angel was already feeding it his own negative emotions but add Raditz in his current situation. It was a buffet the parasite's gluttony could not dare refuse.

As Raditz's power boost was starting to wear out, his grip on Warrior Angel's arms began to slowly wear down. The new parasite took its chance and waddled through the bloodied grass and found its way on Raditz's golden tail. Using it as a bridge to transport itself from the ground onto the back of Raditz's torn armour. Sludging to the Saiyan's long hair, jumping onto it. Then finally after a small trek through Raditz's massive forest of a hair style. Found its way into Raditz's right ear. Within a few moments it slimed into the ear with ease and appetite.

Suddenly! Raditz stopped with his resistance, feeling a new strange unsure feeling enter his body. To his surprise he was able to keep his hold over Warrior Angel with stronger ease, yet he could not get this awkward new feeling away from him. He started to feel his heartbeat in a disturbed rhythmic motion, his bones and wounds started to feel better and even stronger but how on earth they were healing so amazingly or rather the feeling Raditz felt when they were being healed felt irregular.

"What's?" Raditz breathed out heavily "What's happening to…AHHAHHHHHHAHAHAHHAHHAHAHAH" Raditz screamed out as his golden ki went entirely wild. Pushing Warrior Angel to the side of the field. The corrupted hero awed viciously in his berserk state.

Raditz's KI engulfed him as he continued screaming. Being baptized by his new power, feeling his senses and rationality being slowly cancelled out from him like his early great ape days. The aura started to change from yellow to an emerald greenish shade. Once the shade changed it did so by taking away any stability left of Raditz's mind away.

Insert song – Fading by Decyfer Down

The deadly green light mellowed down, in its place a new kind of Raditz exposed himself. A Raditz who had been born from chaos and rage. A darker version of the brother of Goku, one who sold his all his emotions, feelings any sense of compassion he developed on the years he spent on earth. This Raditz, he was just pure rage. Pure unforgiving rage.

A rage which had given Raditz access to this new twisted transformation. This Super Saiyan Berserker. This Super Saiyan level had already made itself distinguishable from its fellow Super Saiyan transformations by its menacing bulky appearance. Raditz's hair colour had turned into a deep solid green, the drastic change came to his body and muscle size. Raditz's body had severely grown in height and his muscle mass unbelievably increased, making it similar in appearance to the Super Saiyan Third Grade transformation but unlike the Third Grade of Super Saiyan, this new form of Super Saiyan intensely increased the Saiyans height. The transformation had caused the man to grow to be 3 meters taller. Raditz's pupils had left him, utterly vanished erasing any trace of sanity left in him. Gaining a much more maniacal look in the process.

Raditz's mouth gapped upon, his lower jaw moving around like a baby trying to formulate their words. Despite the monstrous look he quired, if one looked closely at the berserk Saiyans face one would see a face of sorrow. A sadness slabbed onto him; one would think he was grieving. A feeling of letting down the people who had helped him develop into someone who was much more. Only for him to relapse badly into his old habits. Somehow this sadness had made itself known through this unorthodox beast.

Raditz dumbly looked at Warrior Angel, the Saiyan felt only hatred when seeing the Superhero making this fact clear as he barked at the fallen superhero. Likewise, Warrior Angel returned the mindless vexed feelings at his opponent.

One second a giant amount of emerald ki screamed out of Raditz's body making even the boldest of Saiyans quiver, two seconds Warrior Angel's demonic wings flapped like an alpha male pigeon who desired to do away with his rival.

Three seconds, both men went into a full-on head charge at one another. Their hands clashing in two very powerful grip locks. Soon both men banged their heads together, a loud thud was heard throughout the valley. Shaking the ground through a series of devastating earthquakes, the two titans started to feel blood oozing down their hands like jam. Neither of them cared though, no pain was just an old friend to both monsters. An, tiresome sound in the background. Their bodies where fully wrecked in both mind and body of the toxins.

Their pain was no longer a weakness, it was now only the best kind of alcohol.

Raditz shoved Warrior Angel to the side violently releasing the grip lock. The hero's diabolic wings striped the green grass into bland ground on contact. Warrior Angel was now sloughed on the floor, using his left arm to force his body up ferociously showing his fangs at Raditz like an uncaged wild zoo man.

Warrior Angel flapped his wings with a negative stride and launched himself at his fellow titan. Raditz tried to swat to the corrupted hero but failed as Warrior Angel easily ducked each of the muscled swipes as he flew through each physical attack. Warrior Angel found his opening and latched himself onto Raditz's back. Warrior Angel then proceeded to bite the now brute of Saiyan on his neck, shoulder and anywhere else the now degenerated imp could feast upon.

Raditz howled in a tantrum though his berserk state. Using whatever intelligent brain cells, he had left, Raditz tried to stamp Warrior Angel off himself. Savagery trying to rebuke the tainted hero off his back, he tried to accomplish this by smashing the humanoid parasite around on several giant rocks, tress and logs around him.

Warrior Angel began his phase to end his adversary's comeback, the fallen hero used both his thumbs and pushed them into Raditz's blank eyes. Radtiz yelled in agony as his pupils suffered immensely.

Raditz crouched down for a split second. Within the second, the two men combined looked like a giant ogre with fiendish wings sprouted out from his back. A true incomplete behemoth, if a stranger from a far saw the two transformed monsters from a distance.

Raditz in his fury, bounced off from the ground in a frenzy. Shifting himself and his opponent in an upturned position. Raditz slammed Warrior Angel down making the rouge superhero release his hold over him. Raditz gawked open his mouth with a waterfall of Ki blasts to stream out. Targeting Warrior Angel.

Warrior Angel ran straight ahead at the Saiyan Hulk. Using his wings to guard him from the attacks, but eventually they needed to give in from the damage. Yet despite this Warrior Angel was able to come face to face with Raditz slapping his face with intensely.

Raditz just grabbed the hand of the superhero. Opening his mouth and crunching down hard, Warrior Angel howled like a dog feeling the teeth dig into his flesh. Warrior Angel tried to kick Raditz off him through several lousy kicks.

Raditz did not give in. Like a rapid dog and his chew toy he would not surrender his hold to the outsider. Raditz released the hand and jumped onto Warrior Angel forcing both men roughly to the ground. Unfortunate Beacon Hill could no longer handle the pressure of both titans. The natural exterior crumbled around them as both men fell through.

With the light of day slowly fading away from behind them. Breaking each patch and layer of ground of earth from their abnormal fall and struggle. The two titans kept focussing on each other, still beating one another up like brutes throughout their decent. Ignoring their surroundings as they did so.

They were so focused on harming one another, they didn't release they had entered the centre core of the planet.

THE PLANETS CORE

Both titans emerged upwards in an abrupt manor from the tunnel which they had dug. Their surroundings had changed ever so much from the countryside battlefield. The two men now were placed within a catacomb of nature. The soil coloured through by a sunset orange; this light had been generated by a cocoon shaped supernova. The heart of the entire planet, the impulsive heat generated from the core would have obliterated any other mortal man.

Except for the two fighters who had just entered. For they were not like any other mortal men.

Both titans backed away from each other in a flash, feeling the sweat pouring down from their flesh due to the extensive heat generated by the core. Though the cause of that small weakness was mainly due to their inhuman physiology.

Both men continued their monstrous beat down, not taking in their new abnormal surroundings. Both slung at each other at the same time, a massive clang echoed as their fits connected. They than slung their legs at one another in a similar fashion. Again, both connected causing a second hardening echo. The core's fire jilted from the physical tune generated from the two men.

It wasn't long before their movements became faster. Both berserkers escalated their speed to a godlike level. Vanishing and repairing within seconds and taking their moment of appearance to scratch the other with a surprise attack.

Raditz slammed his fist into Warrior Angel's gut. Strong enough to make the invincible demon to cough out a small spurt of dark shaded of blood from his mouth. Raditz then slammed both his giant fits onto Warrior Angel's head causing a bleach of blood to leave his bold head as if it was an egg being cracked.

Warrior Angel used his super speed to tackle Raditz down. Making his arms, legs and wings into a makeshift net. Keeping the enlarged Saiyan trapped in a floating body hold. Using the spikes from his wings to stab into multiple parts of Raditz's flesh. Raditz in return used his tail to slap Warrior Angel's face.

Warrior Angel released his captive after having enough of the tail strikes. Changing his plans, the fallen angel saw the core and came up with a cruel but suitable idea. Warrior Angel charged at Raditz taking the feral man by suspire. As Warrior Angel man grabbed the Saiyan he proceeded to drive Raditz into the plants core, hoping to burn him alive.

Raditz, despite being in a primal state understood of what his opponent was planning. The Saiyan caught onto the idea as he turned his head to see where he was being pushed into. Waving his hands like a lunatic Raditz tried to concentrate and think of a plan to escape this battle plan.

Raditz tried to headbutt his opponent a couple of times in order to make him cease his forcefulness. No matter how many hits he gave Warrior Angel did not give in to the Saiyans attempts of release. The heat started to grow higher for Raditz, the intensity he once was able to withstand started to overlap out of his comfortable physical boundaries.

Each step closer Raditz started to feel the weight of his mortality dawn harder on him. His primal instincts reducing his veteran mentality to a mentality which was more of a scared child. Raditz panicked waving his hands and legs in a fearful manor. Absolutely terrified of his potential death.

A fear which had revied an aspect of his personality he buried long ago. A need to survive no matter what the cost. Expect this time he would not use his silver tongue to escape his captive but rather to full exertion of the new transformation he obtained.

Raditz roared like a monster and was able to stop Warrior Angel from pushing him. No physical restraint from the Saiyan, all Raditz did was somehow make his physical body the equivalent of an anchor. Warrior Angel tried all he could to presume his pushing of Raditz, becoming agitated in his futile attempts like an angry child.

Raditz, seethed as he grabbed Warrior Angel by his shirt violently. A parent who had enough of his brat of a child. Warrior Angel for the first time since he entered his demonic form looked at Raditz with pure fear and shock. The invincible winged titan felt a tingle of fear jingle throughout the inches of his body.

Raditz grabbed Warrior Angel's wings and swung him to the ground. Warrior Angel tried to get up, but Raditz stamped his foot down onto his spine. Raditz grabbed one of the wings and tore it of it like a scrap of paper. Warrior Angel howled like a beaten down dog from his severed limb. His red veins burned with a fury of this turnaround of their duel's situation.

Radtiz however did not give his opponent any further moments to contemplate his predicament. He grabbed both of Warrior Angels legs and turned the fallen hero into a whip. Striking Warrior Angels disabled body on every jiggered edge Raditz could see. The demonic angel coughed out a series of blood from each strike. Feeling his invincibility weaver away slowly.

Raditz, stopped his whipping and the brute smiled sadistically at the turning of the tables. This cruel action, this anti egalitarianism carved into his facial features showed how badly Raditz had been assimilated into his new nature. The brother of Goku, the husband of Launch and a farther of three had all vanished into the abyss of that nasty smile. The Raditz who withheld those titles had been silenced down within this creature's main brain.

Raditz spat at Warrior Angel's face. A true form of disrespect if there had ever been one. Raditz released Warrior Angel but only to slap him in the seconds he could while the fallen hero was in mid-air. Warrior Angel collapsed to the soil beneath him. Crawling around a dirt like a school bully who had been given some physical lip by a bigger bully.

Raditz grabbed the collar of Warrior Angel, wrenching him up to his eye view. Enough was enough Raditz had grown bored of this pathetic prey. He wasted enough time on him as it was. Now it was time to end it, now it was time to make another bald uptight bastard fall to his knees just like he had done with Nappa all those years ago.

Raditz opened the grip of his free hand. Utilizing his furious emerald Ki into the form of a gigantic power ball. Ready to vaporize this so called 'Invincible'.

Raditz, smiled like a mad hyena. Sweet drool dripping down the sides of his lips. Just a few more moments of seeing his down casted tormentor suffer. A few more pleasurable moments of being superior to a being who was meant to be superiority incarnate.

After getting his inner fulfilment of seeing the superhero squirm. Raditz began the final preparations of destroying the superhero for good. Raditz held the KI blast a mere few inches from Warrior Angel's bald pale head.

Despite his mindset being mostly primal, the few remaining strands left of Raditz's sanity processed through. No matter how jaded they were. All Raditz was feel an angry scoff at this creature. To think a few minutes ago he attempted to console Warrior Angel over the loss of his girlfriend. For Kami sake she wasn't even real. Neither was his victim! They were just two Deviant art posts that had a flare for dramatics. Just like every other dam comic book in existence. The only reason the two ever existed was because of a stupid curse made by their disgruntled creator who probably got cut out of the company deal through his foolish actions.

Warrior Angel was a looser, his Penelope had been a looser getting killed so pitifully, Baba's friend was a looser for creating such a sorry excuse of a character and even going into a depression because of it. How dare they try to push the first son of Bardock back into that world of weakness.

No more, once Raditz got rid of Warrior Angel he would use this new transformation to dispose of anyone else who got in his way. Vegeta, Beerus and if he ever dared to challenge him then his younger brother would be joining the grave list.

Raditz ripped off the black domino mask from Warrior Angel's face. Before Raditz killed weak winged morsal he wanted to see a look into his scrawny beady eyes. To see the eyes of the soon to be made corpse.

Once Raditz did, his features began to slowly change. Some if the tensity slowly began to ease out of his flesh. Replaced by a surprised spec of calmness. As Raditz looked into the eyes of Warrior Angel, however demonized they had been due to the transformation. Raditz didn't see the signs of a violent animal or a mad man. No, all Raditz saw was the eyes of a young child. A boy who attempted to utilize a moment foolishly to break through his cycle of pain. No matter what negative light would be bestowed upon him in the aftermath.

Due his transformed feral nature, Warrior Angel had fought like an untamed animal in order to win this fight second halve of the fight. Yet like a cow or a pig being readied for the slaughterhouse, Warrior Angel had been forcefully tamed for him to face his inevitable fate. However, unfortunately like most animals for the slaughter there was that one aspect of their mind which made them aware of what was going to happen to them. A, aspect humanoid easy shared with the farm creatures. The only difference was humanoids when facing such an end no matter how insane or foolish would still reflect on the life they had. On the people who they loved and the people they also had lost.

Son Home – A few days after the Cell Games

Raditz wearing a set of simple casual cloths entered the home of his brother with a bag full of shopping. Eggs, Milk, Magazines and a whole array of essentials for the household. Since the death of his brother during the final battle against Cell. Raditz had taken it upon himself to step up to the plate. To be a semi bread winner for his brother's branch of the family. Gohan was still young and needed to enjoy what was left of his youth, especially after his year in the Time chamber and Chi-Chi was expecting a new baby. While the Ox King and their other friends would make sure those two would never fall short in any form or way. A simple trip to the local ships could easily make someone's day a little lighter.

Not to mention Raditz wanted an excuse to see how his nephew is doing.

After setting the shopping bag down, unloading the newly brought foods to the fridge and having a quick chat with Chi-Chi. Raditz proceeded to Gohan's room.

As he entered Raditz took notice of the young lad. His room was the same bed in the same area, schoolbooks stacked on the wall and a few old toys neatly tidily placed in some draws and boxes. The final examination saw Gohan sitting on his desk. His back turned to his uncle while the boys head was stuck in a maths book.

Raditz awkwardly stepped into the room. Wondering if Gohan had heard or even sensed his presence. Raditz sighed sadly looking at his nephew from the back. Gohan had been active, trying to do one positive thing after the other since the Cell Games. Raditz remembered the Ox King mention to him about how the two caught a giant fish and the glee on Gohan's face when he caught the beast. The same type of happiness his farther had whenever he had caught a fish himself.

Yet, there was still apart of Raditz that still worried for Gohan. The boy was still young, had to upgrade his role to being the man of the house. Additionally, Gohan may need to take on the role of a farther instead of a brother, when his younger sibling would eventually come to into the world.

Raditz sighed. So much had changed in the following days. The loss of his brother and such a server change in the family's dynamic. Even after his fight with Cell, Gohan still had so much weight on his shoulders. Much more than a Super Saiyan 2 could ever handle. Destroying a giant bug themed android was one thing. Taking care of an expecting mother, the loss of a farther and somehow still finding the time to study in order to get into his future school was another thing.

Raditz smiled gently as he placed a hand onto his nephews' shoulder "Hey kid."

Gohan gasped surprisingly, ending his transfixion of his maths book as he became aware of his uncle's presence. "Uncle Raditz? Sorry I didn't hear you come in I was just…"

"It's okay kid, I know doing your egghead stuff as usual." Raditz mused.

Gohan huffed annoyed by his uncles' attitude "Uncle Radtiz, this my future."

Radtiz sighed as he rolled his eyes "Back on Planet Vegeta, we didn't need books or these exams to get through life. All we needed growing up was a good ton of muscle on our arms." Raditz smirked as he emphasized his point by showing some muscle from his arms.

Gohan just sighed smally at his uncles Saiyan mud hut like manors "Uncle Raditz, with all due respect were not on Planet Vegeta. Here if you don't get some decent exam results you better expect to sleep in a back ally." Gohan berated to his uncle.

Raditz scoffed with a scent of sarcastic amusement "Now you really are sounding like your mother."

After hearing that snide Gohan dropped his book instantly "What!?"

Like a kid who had gotten his hand caught in a cookie jar, Raditz instantly regretted his stint. Remembering at this moment of time his nephew was far stronger than himself and most if not all the Z fighters. The brother of Goku dumbfoundingly tried to get out of the situation "well ehh ehhh." He muttered foolishly

Gohan sighed as he phased out his annoyance from him and calmed down. "Look, Uncle I get why you're not into this 'Egghead' stuff" Gohan muttered that word in a stern steeled voice which reminded Raditz of a certain prince.

"But I need to work harder than ever, yeah I wish I could do more kid stuff. Even when I studied this stuff as a toddler, I wanted to do more fun stuff with Dad and the others." Gohan admitted remembering some aspects of his youth that he himself admitted found slightly boring.

"Its just with dad gone, mum expecting another kid. I got to pull my weight in this house, I got no idea when Dad is coming back or…. If he ever will come back." Gohan admitted sadly. While he tried to put on a brave face and accept his father's reasoning for not being revived. There was still apart of him that still was coming to terms with the prospect of never seeing his beloved dad again. Especially as his actions led to his death.

Even though Gohan didn't say his thoughts outload. His uncle easily understood the range of feelings the boy was going through. It was an understanding that Raditz knew all to well. When his parents were killed by Freiza, Raditz as a child felt so small. Here he was a child with a bald brute and a spoiled brat of a prince on another planet which they destroyed for profit.

Just a small boy with long black hair standing not knowing what to do. While his farther the pinnacle of bravery stood up to his race's killer in his last moments of life. Raditz remembering the feelings of confusion, anger but mostly the sadness. His good, wonderful mother taken away from him in such a brutal way. His farther while Raditz and Bardock had their issues in the past there where moments in the Saiyans childhood where the man had been even by human standards a good dad.

Even after killing Freiza and unlocking Super Saiyan. There was always a piece of Raditz which wished he could have been there with his farther to the very end. Even before he became a Z fighter and became an earthling. Raditz used to dream or fantasize of tag teaming with his old man on that day and stopping Freiza before the tyrant finished his evil plan. Foiled by a glorias farther and son triumph.

Then unfortunate reality would kick in. Raditz would be a full-grown adult, working with people he hated and who hated him. Speeding his life in the destruction and unhappiness of others in the so-called service of his parents' killer. Even after all these years Raditz had wished he had something back then that could have given him some hope. Some idea which would have guided him to the good life which he had now. Something to tell his child self that things would get better.

Raditz looked at his small bag from his shopping trip. It had some sweets and three magazines he thought Gohan would like to have. As he Raditz attempted to empty the bag a comic fell to the floor. Raditz slightly cursed himself over this small annoyance. Once he bent down and picked up, he heard an unexpected question.

"What do you have there, uncle Raditz?" Gohan asked simply

Raditz in a moment of being dumbstruck by both the question and small accident, looked at the magazine in a hurry. As he examined the stabled papers Raditz started to realize the item was a comic book. Some small trivial story called Warrior Angel.

Gohan stood up from his chair and left his desk. As he walked up shortly to his uncle "What you go there?" Gohan asked innocently.

"Ohh eh just some comic I picked up during the shopping. I don't know why I got it you probably wanted one of those crossword things." Radtiz stated "If you don't like it, I can always give to someone else. Maybe Krillin would like…."

"That looks like our adventure on Namek." Gohan said excitedly. Raditz confusingly pondered what on earth his nephew was talking about. Gohan pointed more towards the comic's cover "See, this Warrior Angel guy he's on a alien planet like Namek, those other superheroes with him are like you and our other pals who joined us there. That demon looking guy looks like Freiza." Gohan explained pointing to each section he was talking about in his explanation.

Raditz at first was going to dismiss the idea, until he looked closer at the cover. Seeing the picture of Warrior Angel and the character he guessed was his arch enemy the demon. Was incredibly like how his brother stood off against Freiza when those two first met.

Gohan, gently took the comic off from his uncle. With a merit of glee entering his features Gohan began to read further the comic. After, a few seconds the young half Saiyan was quickly engrossed into the comic. Just astonished by this character, by the world he lived in. Especially his red cape.

"Wow, this is cool. I mean he really is like Dad; he helps people. He came from another world. He has such a cool costume. I would love to have one like that. Aww man this is so amazing. Talk about a hero of justice" Gohan squealed happily.

Back to the fight

"Th….ta….that is…..wher….where he got Great Saiyaman from." Raditz forced out the words from his mouth in a monstrous tone. This horrible transformation had made something such as a simple sentence a cold hard challenge for the brother of Goku.

Raditz, breathed in and out trying to figure out what was truly happening to him. Not what this transformation was trying to make him think was right, no it had to be what Raditz thought was right for him.

Raditz looked down at the fallen hero he was near seconds of killing. He looked so beaten down from their long battle. Bloodied and handicapped and at his knees. Just as Raditz's current personality wanted Warrior Angel to be in. However now Raditz no longer felt the glory or desire to see his opponent beaten down.

A few seconds would pass for Raditz to realize this wasn't a spectacular battle anymore. Whatever their fight may have started as had been degraded into something ugly. Something sorrowful, wasteful and disgusting.

Raditz squirmed, it was like a hand full of sharp claws had grasped his brain. Stabbing out any sense or sensibility out of his mind. Raditz, looked at his giant fists seeing the blood painted all over them. Not ounce of skin or clothing had not been bloodied. Looking at his hands Raditz felt a feeling of shame. These where not the hands of a Saiyan warrior who thought for his pride. These where the hands of a wild boar.

Hands his farther would only shake his head too.

Raditz growled releasing Warrior Angel and his dark mask from his grip. Raditz roared in a pained fury. Feeling his brain burn all over, a sizzling pain stabbing each central nerve of his mind. Raditz howled from the agonies tap dancing around his head.

Grabbing his head with both his fists the Saiyan was doing everything in his power to eliminate this agony from his brain. As he tried and tried, this mental nightmarish claw kept tightening its grip on the brother of Goku. Refusing to release the Saiyan from its grasp, desperately the parasite was doing everything within its power to maintain its venomous grip on the Saiyan.

Raditz yelled like a Great Ape, utilizing every fibre and thread of his small strands of sanity he had left inside of him to free him of this imposed curse. The Saiyan throttled, he begged, he pleaded to anyone and anything to change him back to his base form. But most of all he remembered.

He remembered his family waiting for him back home. He remembered his friends who were looking forward to their next gathering. He remembered his parents, his mother's kind face and his face moments of respect.

So many people, so many words coursing through his being. Until finally after one heavy push Raditz felt a warm black liquid leave his ear. The small parasite which had moved from Warrior Angel's demonic form onto Raditz had been finally killed.

Raditz, felt a gust of air fill into his lungs. A surprised calmness taking over him. Reassuring all his internal organs. The claw which had been clasping his brain had released its hold taking away all its negativity from the Saiyan.

Raditz felt so relaxed. A new kind of relief washed over him. Slowly and gently Raditz started to power down. His fair changing from the emerald shade of green back to its natural raven black, his height shrank from its giant size back to its natural size and his pupils rematerialized themselves back onto his once pure white eyeballs.

He was back.

The real Raditz, not the Super Saiyan berserker he had just been. That Raditz was gone and beaten. While Raditz didn't know exactly what that parasite was or how it triggered such an unholy transformation. The experience he had gotten from his exposure to them both had taught him that whatever this Super Saiyan Berserker was, no matter how powerful or even how legendary it maybe. It was a chaotic power that should be kept away from his people. It wasn't like Super Saiyan 4 or Super Saiyan blue. It lacked or nobility or self-control, even by the Saiyan's warrior standards. It was a madness which should be kept back from everyone, especially for those who like himself had the ability to unlock it.

Or at least until they found a more controlled grade of that transformation.

Raditz didn't have any more time to ponder more about the Super Saiyan Berserker transformation. He could ask Whis or one of the Kai's later about it when he returned. Until then his priority needed to get himself and his fallen opponent out of the core.

Raditz replaced the domino mask onto Warrior Angel, a small gesture true but the man wore a mask for a reason to hide himself. Raditz and the rest of his world may have known his identity as Stephen Swift. However, in the mindsets of Warrior Angel himself and the comic book world where he lived in, Raditz found himself conceding his need to respect this personal fact of the superhero.

Once Raditz finished putting the domino mask back onto the superhero. He flung Warrior Angel's tired body onto his left shoulder. Once he knew the superhero was secure in his grip, Raditz jumped into the air and began his flight back onto the planet's surface.

West Kirby Beach

On an unnoticeable corner of a simple seaside beach a huge sink hole erupted from its sand. Raditz carrying his sleeping opponent. Once the Saiyan exited his manmade exit, Raditz landed onto the brownish wet sand and dropped Warrior Angel onto his front.

Warrior Angel murmured some jumbled words or possible growls out of his mouth. After a few seconds the rouge hero regained consciousness and sat up. His feral instincts taking over him once more. Warrior Angel looked at his prey before him on his right, without a second of warning Warrior Angel used his superspeed to gang up onto Raditz. Lifting the man up by his neck, Warrior Angel sneered as he licked his lips in hunger. Ready to finally crush his prey once and fall.

"It's not your fault." Raditz answered.

Slightly startled by this random statement, Warrior Angel found his growling to be put at halt. Closing his mouth confusingly reducing his cannibal like nature in this moment of time.

Raditz looked down at Warrior Angel in a gentle yet still stoic look as he proceeded with his explanation "It isn't your fault Penelope died. I know so many people have told you this before. Even I did at one point. I know you feel whatever people tell you is the wrong answer, you use to live in a life that made complete sense but then one night it all went to hell. Your life went to hell because of someone you trusted."

Warrior Angel looked down. Raditz couldn't tell if he was listening to what was being said or if his feral nature was trying to understand what was being said to him. Raditz didn't know or care at this moment if there was a chance to end today's mess, he was going to take it.

"Penelope, she didn't blame you for what happened to her. She loved you, I mean she really loved you. I know this because in those last moments of when I saw her. It was a love I only saw a few times in my life. My brother, my friends and my wife and children. The type of love which ensures such loyalty and devotion is a luxury we are both are so lucky to have experienced." Raditz explained to the superhero.

"You are angry at everything around you, that for all your efforts for all the work you did in this job you were punished so badly and unfairly. Especially as you dedicated your life in the belief of true justice. No one's deserves such unfairness. Not someone who cared like you." Raditz admitted sombrely at the superhero.

"Your whole world was damaged that night; it is more than understandable if you wanted to throw that costume into the nearest dump. That is your choice, you mentioned that your world has other heroes who can take over for you. What difference would it make if it lost another piece of flying spandex." Raditz stated bluntly.

"On the other hand, you would be failing another hero by doing so." Raditz rebuked coldly. Warrior Angel looked up at Raditz in an agitated confused manor. The anger brought by the Saiyan's insult but the confusion as to what the Saiyan meant be his words.

"Penelope wasn't the only person who looked up to you. My nephew, even though you never met him. You helped him, you helped him become someone amazing. When started out High School, he became a superhero of sorts. Costume, mask and even a red cape like yours." Radtiz explained remembering how befuddled he had been when he saw the Great Saiyaman suit for the very first time.

"We, all thought he had lost the plot for a bit with that thing. I mean he really looked like a bad Power Ranger cosplayer. Not to mention that dumb helmet he wore. For his sake we tried to keep down remarks and jokes. Unfortunate we never truly got the real meaning of that costume. My nephew a boy, a man who made it clear several times that he never wanted to be a fighter. Still, wanted to make the world a better place to live in." Raditz, gently touched the hand of his opponent in a friendly way. Trying to show the feral guardian he had no desire to continue this fight.

"That is thanks to you Warrior Angel, all those years ago when he read his comic of you, he became enticed with your idea of a good world. On how to be a good man. When he was working to get into Orange Star, looking after his mother and baby brother and helping a small part of him heal from the loss of his farther. All thanks to your stories, you and they both helped him get through some rough times and for that I will always be grateful for you giving my nephew something to believe in." Raditz preached "You know originally his costume wasn't going to have the cape, Bulma had originally designed without one. She only added it in because he asked her too. He requested that so he could be reminded of the man who inspired him to take on that job. He wore it to honour you. If there is anything left of the real you in there, then you will do him the favour of returning such an honour if not you have disrespected everything Gohan did as Great Saiyaman." Raditz finally reprimanded to the hero.

Warrior Angel started to think of this Gohan character, trying to imagine the young man reading his comics, life and adventures. Trying his best to visualise that young man standing before him or worse being the one he was holding in a death grip. Seeing that look of betrayal in his eyes, that sadness and disappointed he would feel for his fallen idol made the fallen hero wish he wasn't the broken creature he was now.

Warrior Angel released Raditz. Muttering words like "Gohan…. Penelope…Cape…. Honouring" in a twisted rhyme, almost like a prayer. A man trying to make sense of the events around him. Trying to understand this sudden guilt which had crossed over to him without his consent, without his strength to deal with it. As Warrior Angel pondered these guilty feelings his costume started to return to its blue and silver colouring. His skin lost the dreaded hellish red veins and changed back to more natural healthier colour. Finally, the demonic wings faded away into ash and Warrior Angel's majestic red cape flapped down on his back once more.

Raditz smiled, the hero had truly returned.

Warrior Angel turned to face his once opponent. Feelings of regret and sadness wavering over him as he approached Raditz. Warrior Angel bowed polity to his former enemy "I am truly sorry for what I have done to you. I can see now you hold the values that I and my friend's strife for. You are no villain you are hero just like your nephew is. I allowed myself to blind by anger and loathing to see what was really happening to me." Warrior Angel stated sadly.

"I have no right to wear this suit, I attacked a person on biased grounds. An act which is below a person who claims to be a hero. If anything, this fight and whatever caused my transformation into that monster are just signs that I am longer fit to be a crimefighter."

Raditz mused over this speech. Growling probably the tenth time that day "For Kamisake man, stop with the nobility act. Look you messed up it sucks a lot of people do that me especially. Guess what you try your best to make up for it. You try to be the better man. Whatever Devilicus infected you with tried to get me too. I know what its like not to be in control and have those thoughts. It can kill any kind of motivation. That cannot be you, it cannot be me. If you allow yourself to be consumed again that will be on you. No one else."

Raditz walked up and put his hand on Warrior Angel's shoulder "It doesn't mean your fight is over. You can start again my friend. Yes, you lost someone you loved; you were cursed by your best friend. Your life has changed but it doesn't mean you have to change. You can still be the man you want to be. You just need to be brave enough to face it head on. That's what makes you a hero getting up and beating all that shit which lands on your doorstep. That is what made Penelope love you, that's why Gohan admired you. If not for yourself than do it for them."

Warrior Angel looked away to the sea. Seeing, the cold ocean leaves and enter the wet sand. The vast blue sky above him and the sunset which was lowering itself for its daily slumber. Such beauty reminded him of her. Reminded him of why he needed to keep going on. Devilicus, Black Dimond or worse himself will always try to destroy such kind beauty in the world. He needed to keep on being the one who kept saying no.

Warrior Angel nodded to his Saiyan ally "Your right, I have wasted enough time in this realm and my own self-pity. Its time I get back to my world, to the people who need me. The people who need somebody to save them" Warrior Angel smiled kindly giving Raditz a thumbs up.

Raditz smiled back. Finding the comic book from his pocket the Saiyan opened the pages. A giant stream of beautiful white light left the comic bathing and coating Warrior Angel. It was not long before the superhero had vanished the stream of light dyed down.

Raditz looked at the comic, feeling some strange aura from it but not as bad as it had been during the bazar. Now the aura felt gentler, more forgiving and less negative compared to how it started it out. Raditz took this as a sign that while the curse wasn't lifted at least it was in a far better state, a state that is Warrior Angel ever returned he would be a friend not an enemy.

Raditz sighed wearily, after all this time. After all his wishing the day was finally over. He could drop the comic off at Baba's and then go back home to his wife and kids and enjoy a few good days off.

Yet before Raditz was about to leave an idea popped into his head. The Saiyan took out his cell phone and found one of the contacts. "Hi Gohan, it's me…. Yeah, I'm fine I did Baba's little favour….. I wanted to ask do you think I could borrow some of your old comics….I just felt like reading something colourful."
