A/N Hey, guys. Welcome back to more of The Blackburn Siblings fanfic. So first off, I want to sincerely apologize to everyone who's been waiting for an update from me. The reason is because I've been really focused on my other stories that are a work in progress. I really hate myself for leaving you guys hanging and waiting for the tenth chapter. But anyway, my first year of university has started for me and I've been trying to make time to keep writing this fanfic. Anyways, back to the subject. This chapter is based on season one episode seven Refraction. In this tenth chapter, the Atlas Academy holds an open house tonight and the group ends up thinking that Molly might be sent away to live with a relative. I'm not sure how long this chapter will be, depending if I make it longer or not. But anyways, this is chapter number ten of The Blackburn Siblings, and here we go.

I only own my OCs Caleb and Chloe.

The next morning after the Pride gala, the siblings left their apartment to meet with their friends at school to dicuss their next move. When they get there, they find their friends who were about to get into a heated argument.

"Hey! What's going on here?" asked Caleb as he and sister approached their friends.

"I thought you guys weren't gonna make it today." said Nico.

"Very funny, at least I'm not involved with some drama relating to the whole circle." said Chloe as her hazel eyes met with Alex's eyes.

"Well, what's happening with the video data?" Chase questioned Alex.

"I'm still working on it. It's harder to unlock than I thought, and now my parents are on my ass." Alex replied.

"Yeah, mine too." Gert agreed.

"Do you think they know?" asked Karolina.

"I'm not sure how." Alex answered.

Just then, Molly dropped her double helix project.

"Whoa there. You okay?" asked Caleb as he helped Molly pick up her project.

"We can put it back together." said Nico.

"Who cares? Who cares about a double helix!" Molly snapped.

"Molly, is everything okay?" Gert questioned.

Molly's eyes met with Caleb's brown eyes, regretting on what's he going to say, he silently nodded at her.

"I screwed up, you guys. I got something to tell you." Molly confessed.

The group sat by a nearby bench, trying to process on what Molly had just confessed to them.

"Are you kidding?" asked Gert.

"I know. I panicked. Your mom is very intimidating." Molly says to Alex.

"Well, she has the conviction rate to prove it. Now you're telling me she's been suspicious of you from the beginning." said Alex.

"Not to mention you're responsible for only one working bathroom at Timely Coffee." Chase pointed out.

"If they know you saw the robes, they know you got down the staircase." Nico commented.

"Unless they wear their robes to other places, like the gym, or Whole Foods." said Gert.

"Then again, nothing in my house has changed." said Chase.

"In fact, it's gotten better. Except for the fact that our parents are having an affair." Nico reminded Chase.

"No, that's all over. My mom told me this morning." said Chase.

"Well, at least I know my parents are living in my room." Alex commented.

"Dude, I said I'm sorry." Molly reminded.

"Why didn't you tell us, Molly? Why didn't you tell me? " Gert questioned.

"Every time I try to tell you guys stuff, you act like I'm some kid who can't be believed." Molly snapped.

"Don't look at me and my sister. We both believed in Molly." said Caleb.

"My brother makes a good point." Chloe cuts in.

"it's not your fault. This is too much for us to handle, let alone someone your age." said Karolina.

"You're, like, three years older!" Molly cried.

"This is why I literally tried to protect you from seeing this." Alex reminded Molly.

"We can't do this thing if we can't trust each other. I'm super honest." said Molly.

"Yeah, Molly, maybe a little too honest sometimes." Gert pointed out.

"You know what? Forget it. If after all we've been through this is how it's gonna be, then I don't want anyway to do with you guys!" Molly shouted as she got up and left.

"Molly, hold on!" Karolina called.

"I got this. You guys go on ahead. We'll meet up later." said Caleb as he got up from the bench and followed Molly.

"Great job, you guys. All of you decided to start arguing in the middle of the day and pointing fingers at each other instead of taking it out on your parents." said Chloe.

Her friends doesn't say anything as her hazel eyes were filled with anger. She didn't want to argue with her friends in broad daylight after what went down in the Pride gala.

"Just forget it. I'm going to class." said Chloe as she got up and left.

Back with Caleb, he caught up with Molly as he helped her fold up the towels after she was shutted out by Eiffel and her cheerleading squad.

"You didn't have to help me out with folding the towels, you know." she said.

"I had to. It's my job to look out for you and help you." he said.

"Caleb. Why did you and your sister move here in LA?" Molly questioned.

"My parents died when Chloe and I were kids. We were orphaned. After the battle of New York, Nick Fury was kind enough to look after us when my parents were occupied with their work." he replied.

"When Hydra returned, an assassin called The Winter Soldier killed my parents because they had found out that the S.H.I.E.L.D. agents were working for Hydra. After Fury was killed, his trusted agent Maria Hill took us in and raised us. Some of the kids from my school bullied and insulted us. I suddenly snapped. My powers started to awaken. And I started beating up the big kids senseless. Chloe's powers began to awaken, and the first thing she did was she had turned herself invisible and started beating the popular girls." he continued.

Molly held Caleb's hand and didn't let go, not knowing how much Caleb and Chloe had to go through in their childhood. Losing their parents, and beating up the older kids who had bullied and insulted them.

"Then the kids became afraid of us and what my sister and I would do to them if they ever bullied and insulted us again. After Miss Hill found out about our powers, she decided to pull us out of school and made us swore that we would never use our powers again for personal gain or for harming others." he finished.

"I'm sorry, Caleb." she said softly.

"You don't have to apologize to me for anything. I didn't have control over my powers when they awakened inside of me." he said.

In the next couple of hours, Caleb and Chloe were separated from their friends, who brought their parents to the open house. Knowing their friends' parents, there would be tensions rising, and most difficult situations. Just then, Caleb's phone buzzed. He takes it out of his pocket and tapped his little sister on her shoulder.

"Just got a text message from Chase. Meet at the upper walkway." he said.

The siblings quietly left to meet with their friends away from the others, as they try to avoid making eye contact with their friends' parents.

"So, what's the sudden call for a meeting at a time like this?" asked Caleb as he and his sister arrived and approached their friends.

"The Yorkes are sending Molly away for her safety and protection." Chase replied.

"They're doing what now?" Chloe questioned.

"My parents had found Molly's relative, who lives miles away from LA." Alex replied.

"What about those files?" asked Caleb.

"I'm still decrypting them. It's a work in progress." said Alex.

"What happens when it does? Have you thought about that?" Chase questioned Alex.

"Well, then it's out of our hands, which I'm okay with." Alex simply replied.

"Yeah, me too. They did this." Gert agreed.

"Exactly. They need to be held accountable for their actions." Karolina stated.

"Yeah, at least you'll have your dad." said Chase.

"Super. Frank Dean can raise us all." Gert added in a sarcastic tone.

"Don't look at us. Our parents are dead." said Chloe.

"Being here tonight feels really ridiculous, like we're living fake lives or something." Nico commented, without a care in the world.

"Yeah, well, we are..." Alex started as he was interrupted when his tablet beeped.

"But shit's about to get really real." Alex finished.

"Tell us something we don't know, Wilder." Caleb commented.

"Stay in touch tonight in case anything happens." Chase instructed.

"Great, thanks for calming us down." said Gert.

"Yup, really gonna sleep well tonight." Nico added.

"Not helping." said Chloe.

"Come on, let's head on home. These last few hours have been a headache." said Caleb.

And just like that, the group got up and went home. Caleb was right. These last few hours have become a headache. Returning to their apartment, Chloe was the first to speak up as her hazel eyes met with her brother's brown eyes.

"Hey, did Molly ask you anything?" she questioned.

"She asked me why you and I both moved to LA. I explained to her about our dead parents and our rough childhood. I don't even want to remember any of it." he replied.

"We did have a rough childhood. Some of the kids from our former school were afraid of us because of what we could do to them if they insulted us ever again." she agreed.

Just then, Caleb's phone buzzed. Taking out of his pocket, he gets a text message from Molly, who wants to meet him somewhere.

"Hey, Molly wants to meet me somewhere. I have to go." he suggested.

"Be careful!" she called.

Caleb left the apartment to meet with Molly with what could be the last time. The Latina teenager spotted him and waved.

"Caleb!" Molly called.

"Hey. Why did you want to meet me here?" Caleb questioned.

Before he can get a reply, Molly looked up and Caleb noticed the tears in her eyes. And he knew something was wrong.

"Hey, what's wrong?" he asked.

"Dale and Stacey are sending me away to live with my relative in Montebello. And I don't want to leave." she replied tearfully.

"That's far from LA. Why would they do this to you?" he demanded.

"Dale and Stacey told me it's for my safety and protection because they knew I've seen Pride's Rite of Blood sacrifice." she said.

Caleb pulled Molly into an embrace as she wrapped her arms around him and cried. Caleb could feel tears getting ready to fall on his face.

"I don't want you to leave me, either. I've always been there for you when you needed me the most. And I don't know how you're gonna get through this." he said as he ran his hand through her hair.

"I just can't believe they're doing this to me." said Molly as she sobbed.

"Molly, no matter what happens, I'm there for you. And I don't want you to go through this alone all by yourself. If you need my help, I'll be there right away. Okay?" Caleb suggested as he pulled away and wiped the tears off Molly's face.

Molly nodded as he kissed her for what could be the last time if she wasn't gonna be around him, Chloe, and the rest of their friends.

"I love you, Molly Hernandez." he said as he pressed his forehead on her forehead.

"I love you too, Caleb Blackburn." she said tearfully.

OMG. What a chapter. I really hated myself for having to write this because Molly had to be sent away for her safety and protection. Did anybody hate the fact that she had to be sent away or did anyone agree that it had to be done? Anyway, that's the end of my rant. So, what did you guys think of the tenth chapter? Love it? Hate it? Let me know what you guys thought in the reviews section. Again, I'm sorry that I left you guys on the cliffhanger in the ninth chapter because I've been focused on my other projects at the moment. Chapter number eleven coming up, and I hope I wil update this before the end of the year.
