A/N Hey, everyone. Welcome back to the fifth chapter of the Transformers Ordinary Lives Turned Upside Down fanfic series featuring my OCs. So first, before I get started, I know I suck at updating because my mind's been focusing with school as well bursting with ideas on my other stories that I'm currently working on right now. Anyway, moving on. I want to thank you guys for being patient and sticking with me so far since I'm a diehard fan of the Transformers series, as well as the characters. In this fifth chapter, Will, Em, Hailey, and Maddie return to the Hawthorne household to look for the glasses and Will and Em's parents meet Maddie for the first time. And Sector 7 shows up. So, this is chapter number five, and here we go.

I only own my OCs. I'm just borrowing the movie's plot.

A few minutes after meeting the Autobots, the four teens pulled up near the Hawthorne residence. Hailey got out of Optimus and Em climbed out of Sideswipe.

"Maddie, I need you to stay here and watch them until we find the glasses." said Will.

"You got it." said Maddie, still feeling flustered on the last few minutes of her life being turned upside down.

"We'll be back in five minutes." said Hailey.

As the three of them ran to the back door, they were interrupted by Will and Amelia's father.

"Thanks for staying on my path." Tommy muttered to his kids and niece.

'Great, Dad's sarcasm just made this even more complicated.' Amelia thought.

"Oh, yeah. The path! Dammit. I'm sorry, Dad!" Will stated, rather quickly.

"He meant to say we're sorry." Hailey corrected.

"I forgot about the path! I'll tell you what, I'll sweep the entire thing, right now!" said Will.

"One of us could help him with it, Dad." said Em.

"You know, I buy half of your car… then I bail your brother out of jail… then I just decided to do all of your chores." Tommy explained.

"The chores…" Will muttered, looking at Amelia and Hailey.

"Yeah. Life is pretty great, huh?" Amelia questioned, starting to panic for a bit.

"Life is fantastic, is how good it is." Will said to Tommy.

Out of the corner, Amelia and Hailey could see Optimus and the others start to stand.

"I thought Maddie was supposed to be watching them!" Amelia whisper yelled.

"I'll do the trash right now, Dad." said Will.

"No, I don't want you to strain yourself." said Tommy as he started to open the back door.

"No, he won't strain himself, Dad. Hailey and I could help." said Amelia.

"I'll do it-" Tommy cuts in.

The father and son continued to go back and forth.

Amelia's blue eyes widened as Bumblebee was now at the side of the household.

He seemed to get the idea, and put a finger in front of his mouth.

"Thank you, Bumblebee." Hailey whispered.

"You know, your mom wanted me to ground the three of you. And you're three minutes late of getting home." said Tommy.

'I'm sure mom would've done that to us.' Amelia thought.

"Just another thing you would do for us, Uncle Tommy!" said Hailey as her brown eyes met with Will and Amelia's father's.

"One more thing." Tommy finished as he walked away, having given up for the night.

"Love you, Dad!" Amelia called after him.

"That was a close one, Em." said Will.

Turning around, the Autobots were now shuffling around the small space of the back yard.

"What are you doing? What are you doing?" Will questioned as he started to panic as Optimus got a little to close to the house.

"Watch the path! Watch the path!" Will cried.

Unfortunately, the Autobot leader had stepped on the fountain.

"Oh, my God. How are we gonna explain that?" asked Hailey.

"Opps, sorry. My bad." said Optimus, feeling guilty for stepping on the fountain.

"You couldn't wait for five minutes? Five minutes? I told you to stay! Just stay! God." Will cursed, running his hand through his hair.

Just then, Maddie ran up, starting to panic as well as her green eyes met with Will's dark brown eyes.

"I told you to watch them!" Will reminded Maddie.

"Yeah, well they seem to be in a bit of a rush." said Maddie.

"Oh, this is bad! Really, really bad!" Will groaned.

Then, without a warning, Maverick ran out the back door as he barked. Will turned around and saw Maverick pissing on Ironhide's foot. This was bad.

"No! Maverick! Off the robot!" Will ordered.

"Ugh. Wet." Ironhide flicked Maverick into the air with his toe.

"Whoa, whoa! Take it easy, Ironhide!" Will shouted.

The Autobot's weapon specialist quickly activated his cannons and pointed them at the small dog. Em and Hales quickly ran over to Will's side with Maddie trailing behind them as he picked up and held Maverick in his arms.

"You have a rodent infestation. Shall I terminate?" Ironhide questioned.

"No! This is our pet! This is Maverick, our dog!" Will replied.

"Don't do it, Ironhide!" Hailey cried.

"He doesn't know any better than simply barking!" Amelia cuts in.

"He's leaked lubricants all over my foot!" Ironhide complained.

"Our dog did what to you now?" Amelia questioned.

"He peed on you! Bad Maverick!" Will scolded the little dog in his arms.

"Bad Maverick!" Ironhide also scolded the dog.

"Hales, take him back inside the house, please." Will ordered Hailey.

Hearing Ironhide complain and scolding was a mix of normal and comical. Amelia turned her attention to Sideswipe and Sunstreaker, who were unable to contain their laughter.

"I'm sorry! Our dog's got a male dominance thing, that's all it is." Will tried to explain to the weapons specialist.

"My foot's gonna rust." Ironhide muttered and sulked away.

Hailey came back out and watched Ironhide sulking away, but she didn't blame him.

"Guys! You gotta be quiet, or my parents will hear you!" Amelia cried as she tried to calm them down.

"Don't tell me what to do, fleshie." Sunstreaker glared down at me.

"Easy there, Sunny. Because the last thing we don't need is to have a staring contest." said Sideswipe.

"it's not my fault you can't warm up to all of us, Sunstreaker." Amelia retorted.

"Amelia! Let's go!" Will called.

The young Hawthorne followed her older brother and Hailey into the house.

"Just hurry." Optimus reminded.

"Check your room, I'll be in there in a minute to help you!" Amelia said to her brother.

"I gotta get changed, too!" said Hailey.

Running back into her bedroom, Amelia quickly changed into her tank top and a pair of skinny jeans. While she was changing, a blue light filled her bedroom.

"Did you find them yet?" asked Sideswipe.

"No! We just got in here! And what if I had been changing?" Amelia cried.

"Then I would have seen you naked." he said as he winked at her, causing her to blush madly at him before her red cheeks could be stood with her blue eyes.

"Sideswipe, you can't just look into my window whenever you want." she said as he grabbed her jacket and puts it on.

"Don't be embarrassed, femme." he finished as he walked away from the window before she can reprimand him.

After changing their clothes, Amelia and Hailey raced to Will's bedroom.

"It's not here, Em!" Will shouted.

"Just calm down, Will. We'll find them, okay?" said Hailey.

Just then, Optimus held Maddie in his hand, and Will quickly ran over to help her climb through his bedroom's window.

"What are you doing?" Will asked Maddie.

"They're in a bit of a rush." Maddie answered, panicking.

"Time is short. Please hurry." Optimus reminded.

"We're doing our best to find it, Optimus." said Amelia.

Amelia and Hailey looked out the window, and the yard is in a bad state. The flowers were ruined, the fountain and the path are both gone, and the grass that Tommy worked hard on are torn up all over the place.

"Okay. Yeah. The yard's definitely gone now." Will muttered.

"What do you mean?" Maddie questioned.

"The flowers my mom worked so hard on is gone now, and my dad's grass are torn." he replied.

"Well, they're gonna be pissed. So what do you want to do?" asked Maddie.

"Well, I think you should check this whole area. This whole section right here." Will answered as he motioned to the corner that had all of his shelves.

"And you two can help out." he said to his little sister and cousin.

"We really don't have time for this." said Optimus.

Amelia and Hailey started going through Will's stuff in the farthest corner. Maddie looks through Will's old shoe box.

"It's not in there, either." he said to Maddie.

"Well, you told me to look everywhere, so." said Maddie as she rolled her eyes.

"Well I didn't mean my treasure chest." said Will.

"Will, you need to be more specific so we don't stumble across your things." said Amelia.

"Okay, what now?" asked Will as he heard the metal shifting.

"No, no, no, no! This isn't hiding! This is my backyard, not a truck stop!" he cried as he ran his hand through his hair again.

"Oh, my God. Our backyard looks way worse now!" Hailey groaned.

Just then, Optimus transformed and observed the four teenagers, clearly stressed.

"Hey, Will. He's coming back." said Hailey, referring to Optimus.

"Oh God. What now. I can't deal with all of thi- What is this? No, no, no. Those are my mom's flowers!" said WIll, as he was starting to freak out.

"Great! Mom's flower bed is gone too!" Amelia cried.

"Oops!" Optimus looked down at his feet.

"Okay, listen! You got to listen to me!" Will shouted.

Optimus put his hands on the side of the house as he listened to Will, "If our parents come out here, they're gonna freak out. Our mom's got a temper issue, okay?"

"We must have the glasses." Optimus reminded.

"I know you need the glasses. I've been looking everywhere. They're not in my room." said Will, as Optimus rubbed his hand over his face in frustration.

"You should take care of your own stuff, Will. Hailey and I take care of our own stuff without any problems." said Amelia.

"You're not helping, Em!"Will shouted as his brown eyes met with Amelia's blue eyes.

"Keep searching!" Optimus intervened.

"I need you guys to be quiet, for five- ten minutes. Okay? I can't concentrate like this!" Will groaned.

"Calm down, calm down." Optimus waved his hand in Will's face.

"Autobots, fall back." Optimus ordered.

Amelia, Hailey, and Maddie watched as Will started cleaning his room, still feeling stressed and frustrated.

"Be quiet. What's the matter with you? He wants us to be quiet, why can't you just be quiet?" Optimus yelled at his soldiers.

He was obviously stressed. They did as they were ordered without protest. Sideswipe looked at Amelia and rolled his eyes.

"Thanks guys!" she told them.

"Move!" Ironhide shouted.

"Get away!" The Autoboots started to argue and bicker with each other..

"Not helping with all the yelling!" Hailey called.

"Ow!" Ratchet shouted as he turned to walk away, and walked right into the powerlines and fell on his back. His landing caused the ground to shake and the house to shudder as the power turned off.

"Wow! That was tingly! You gotta try that!" Ratchet laughed as he groaned in pain.

"Yeah, that looks fun." Ironhide added sarcastically.

Optimus glared at the rest of the Autobots. This was no time to be joking and horsing around.

"Ratchet, point the light. Come on." Optimus ordered the medical officer.

Ratchet slowly got up and made his way to the side of the house. Out of his chest, shot a bright white light that blinded the four teens and filled Will's room. All of a sudden, they can hear the voices of Will and Amelia's parents coming up.

"Will, we got a problem!" Hailey called.

"Shit. Maddie, go hide. We'll handle this." Will whispered to Maddie.

"We have a major problem here. What's with the light? You gotta stop the light. Turn it off. You gotta tell him to turn it off." said Will as tried to argue with the Autobots.

Maddie quickly hid in a pile of clothes at the corner of his room, while Amelia and Hailey slipped into their rooms across the hall. Feeling lucky to have a cell phone, Amelia turns on the flashlight and looked at herself in the mirror.

"I look like crap. How am I supposed to explain this to Mom and Dad?" she asked herself.

"Will? Amelia? Hailey?" Sarah questioned as she was the first up the stairs.

"Mom? Dad? What's going on?" Amelia questioned, acting innocent and confused.

"Oh, my poor baby girl! Are you okay?" asked Sarah as she clung onto her daughter.

"Yeah, I'm fine. What happened to the power?" asked Amelia, trying to give her older brother more time to regain his composure.

"Where's Hailey?" asked Tommy.

"I'm here!" Hailey answered as she came out of her room.

"I think that earthquake must have knocked out the power." Tommy muttered as he pushed through to Will's door.

"What's that light?" Tommy questioned.

"I don't know." Sarah replied as she stood by her husband's side.

'Dammit, Ratchet. What are you doing?' Hailey wondered.

"I'm sure it's nothing!" Amelia simply replied.

"Will, you in there?" asked Tommy as he knocked.

There was no response. Amelia and Hailey didn't find the time to silently praise Will for his idea on not responding.

"Why is this door locked! You know the rule! No doors locked in my house!" Tommy shouted as he banged on the door again.

"Will, you know he'll start counting if you don't open the door!" Sarah reminded as he tried to coax Tommy out of the room.

"One more chance. Five…" Tommy declared.

"Come on, Will!" Sarah pleaded.

"Four. It's coming off the hinges pal." Tommy repeated.

"Sam, he's counting! Just open the door!" Amelia shouted.

"Three." Tommy continued.

"Will, just open the damn door!" Amelia cried.

"Amelia Grace Hawthorne, watch your mouth!" Tommy shouted.

"Two." Tommy continued.

"He's counting." Hailey reminded.

"Stand back." Tommy finished.

"What's up? What's with the bat?" Will questioned as he opened the door.

"Who were you talking to?" Dad asked.

"I'm talking to you." Will replied.

"No, we heard a voice." Sarah retorted as she looked between her daughter and her niece.

"Why are you and your cousin so sweaty and filthy?" asked Sarah.

"We're children. You know, teenagers." Hailey replied.

"Yeah, that's why we were late. We, uh. We were at the- the park! Yeah, we were out jogging at the park!" Amelia said simply.

"We heard voices, and noises, and we thought that maybe you were-" Will started.

"It doesn't matter what we thought. What was that light." said Tommy as he flashed his flashlight around Will's room.

'Say it was a flashlight, you idiot!' Amelia told Will, as she showed the flashlight on her phone as an example.

"No, what light? There was no light. You have a light in your hand!" Will shouted my father.

"No, there was a light coming from under the door!" Tommy scoffed.

"No, maybe the light bounced back! Look, you can't, you can't just come busting into my room like this! You have to knock! You have to communicate!" said Will.

"We did!" Sarah defended.

"You didn't knock, you were screaming at me! I didn't hear you screaming at her!" Will shouted as he pointed his finger at his little sister.

"We didn't have to!" Sarah cried.

"This is repression, what you're doing right now. You're ruining my youth!" Will continued to shout, feeling more stressed out than ever..

"Oh, for Pete's sakes! You are so defensive! Were you, were you masturbating?" Sarah questioned.

'Oh, come on. I just want this night to be over.' Hailey thought.

"Sarah." Tommy cuts in.

"No! No, Mom! I don't masturbate!" Will defended.

"We all know that's a lie." Hailey cuts in.

"Zip it, okay?" asked Will.

"It's okay. It's okay." said Sarah, trying to reassure her son.

"I don't masturbate!" Will repeated, as his face was beat red.

"That isn't something for you to bring up. That is a father-and-son thing, okay?" said Tommy, as he was definitely uncomfortable, as was everyone except for Sarah.

"You don't have to call it that word if it makes you uncomfortable. We can call it Will's happy time, or my special alone time, or-" Sarah continued.

"Stop." Will groaned.

"Mom, please-" Amelia cuts in.

"Sarah, just stop." Tommy protested.

"I'm sorry. It's been a weird night, and I've had a little bit to drink." Sarah muttered.

"Yeah, I think it was a little more than just a little bit, Mom." said Amelia.

"Yeah, well, we saw a light. I don't know what it was, but I saw it." said Tommy as he shoved past Sam and tried to search the bathroom.

Suddenly the house shook again.

"What is Optimus and the Autobots doing?" asked Hailey.

"Aftershock! Aftershock! Sarah, get in the doorway!" Tommy called as he quickly jumped into Will's bathtub.

"Way to think of the kids, Uncle Tommy." said Hailey.

"Oh, I hate these. The parents are very irritating." Ironhide stated, feeling irritated.

"Ironhide! What is with you? You know we don't harm humans!" Optimus scolded the weapons specialist.

"That rule could afford to be bent." Sunstreaker rolled his eyes.

"Would you guys shut the hell up?" Amelia questioned.

"Mom and Dad are right in Will's room! They're gonna hear you!" she shouted.

"Oh, no! Sarah, look at the yard! The yard is a waste! Trashed! Sarah, we better call the city, we've got a blown transformer!" said Tommy as he was looking out the window.

"So you're forgetting your kids and worry about the yard instead." Amelia sighed.

"Will, we heard you talking to someone and we want to know who!" Sarah begged as she placed her hands on her hips.

Just then, Maddie came out of her hiding place, as she focused her gaze on the whole family with her green eyes.

"Hi, I'm Maddie Taylor. I'm a friend of Will's." said Maddie.

"Gosh, you're gorgeous! Isn't that the prettiest girl?" asked Sarah.

"She can hear you talking, Mom." Will muttered.

"Thank you." said Maddie as she blushed as if she didn't hear that all the time.

"Oh! I'm so sorry you had to hear our little family discussion!" said Sarah.

"Mom, have you seen Will's backpack?" asked Amelia.

"Oh, yeah! He left it on the table!" Sarah replied.

"Thank you, Mom." said Will.

The four teenagers made their way down the stairs.

"You didn't have the time to ask Mom about my backpack?" Will questioned Amelia.

"If she didn't torture us for the whole night, maybe I would've asked." Amelia replied.

"Your Mom is so nice." said Maddie as she giggled.

"Just wait." said Hailey.

"Maddie, you need to help Em and Hales distract our parents while I get the glasses to them, okay?" asked Will.

The young Hawthorne looked out the window, and her blue eyes widened. The Autobots had disappeared. This was really bad.

"Oh, no." Hailey whispered.

"Will! Optimus and the others are gone!" Amelia cried.

"What?" Will asked.

Just then the doorbell rang. This has just gone from bad to worse.

"Shit." Will cursed.
