"Why are you running so fast?" Kuroka cried out, trying to keep pace with the person she was assigned to look after. She had never seen him so panicked in the two hours that they knew each other.
"There's no time to talk. If Chandra cuts loose, we can lose the entire city! She doesn't exactly have the best anger management methods!" Issei said. Upon reaching an alley, he turned and jumped into the air. A pair of wings manifested from his back as he sped off into the sky.
This was a worst-case scenario. Chandra was many things but patient was not one of them. Her patience was as thin as ice on a spring morning. It was easy to shatter spectacularly. In all the years Issei had known her, he had become privy to her bouts of rage and witnessed the destruction of large swathes of land. He would not allow this city to become an accidental casualty in her bout of rage.
"Stop flying so fast!" Kuroka said. Kuroka spread her wings and took off after him. In a few minutes, she barely managed to catch up with him. Her sensitive nekoshou nose could pick up the high levels of adrenaline from Issei's sweat.
"Call the others and meet me at the edge of town. If you can't see us, look for a giant pillar of flame that should appear-"
"Like that?" Kuroka said, pointing in the distance.
Issei turned to see a massive pillar of crimson flames shooting forth into the sky. A wave of heat washed over the two of them, causing them to shield their faces.
"Yeah, look for that. And when you get there, be careful. Chandra's flames are strong enough to vaporize a living being," Issei said.
She nodded as she watched him fly off towards the fire before charging magic into her hand and sending a flare into the sky.
Sairaorg flew into a wall. He slid down, having burns all over his arms. He thanked his training. Whatever these flames were hurt more than anything he had ever felt but it was thanks to his durability that he was sure he didn't turn to gas.
Kuisha flew into the air, summoning several black portals that regurgitated some of the flames that were swallowed.
Chandra stood there as she was bathed in her own flames. She grinned as the ground around her melted into molten rock. She raised her hand and dispersed the flames. Her eyes, now flaming pits of orange light, glowed as she fired a massive ball of flames towards Kuisha.
The female devil barely had any time to react to her attack. She narrowly dodged the flames by a hair's breadth. The roaring surge of fire rocketed towards a building, threatening to instantly reduce it and the entire block it was on to a smoldering pile of ashes and molten slag.
"Kuisha!" Sairaorg called as he got to his feet.
Kuisha stretched her arm out and created a portal to swallow the flames. However, the flames dispersed before she could absorb them.
The two turned to see Chandra with her fist closed. "I don't want to drag innocent people into this fight and it looks like you don't either. So, I'll give you two one more chance to back down and get out of this unscathed," Chandra said, lowering her arm. Her flaming hair returned to normal.
Sairaorg walked towards his Queen while eyeing the woman carefully. They had grossly underestimated how strong she would be. Her power was completely beyond what they had expected her to do.
"No answer?" Chandra asked. She took a step forward. The two watched as the concrete turned to magma with each step she took. "I was hoping that I wouldn't have to kill two kids today but if you keep insisting on bringing me in…" Chandra closed her eyes. She tapped into the Red Mana she had connected to on this plane and the mana she had gathered from other planes. Unlike Issei, she still retained a vast portion of the mana she had absorbed while on Amonkhet. A harsh red flame engulfed Chandra and shot forth into the sky, darkening it and overpowering the harsh glow of the Sun. An overpowering heat began to blanket the city and cause the two devils in front of her to sweat profusely due to it.
Chandra opened her eyes to reveal deep orange pits of flames that threatened to consume everything in front of her. She raised her hands and swirls of flames spiraled around her wrists.
"One last chance before I reduce you two to the gas form of whatever makes up your bodies," Chandra said.
"Kuisha, I'm going to use my Balance Breaker," Sairaorg said.
"L- Lord Sairaorg?" Kuisha turned to him with a slight shock on her face. There was no one in his generation capable of forcing him into Balance Breaker, not even the Sister of Lucifer, Rias Gremory.
Regulus. Can you hear me? Sairaorg said.
"I can. This is quite the pickle you've found yourself in Master. I doubt even I could protect you from those flames. Her flames are the flames that can slay a God," Regulus replied.
Slay a God huh? Well, I need that help right now. You see, this woman might turn London into a glass floor if we don't do anything so I need your help, Sairaorg replied.
"Of course. As my Master, my power exists to serve you," Regulus replied.
Sairaorg closed his eyes as an overwhelming golden aura engulfed him.
Chandra was blasted back a few inches. Her eyes widened to see bright gold armor that shined with the brightness of the sun envelop the boy. The chestplate had a roaring lion's face on it and an orange mane could be seen on the helm. Her skin tingled at the amount of raw power the boy radiated. She allowed herself to smile a little.
"A Sacred Gear," Chandra said, grinning wildly. The very thought of encountering another weapon like the one Issei wielded intrigued her to no end. If that were true, then the world she ended up in was… "Issei's homeworld."
Chandra readied herself. Whenever Issei donned armor, his speed and strength increased significantly and would force her to use her more destructive spells or release the locks on her regulator.
"Well boy, it seems like you're going to see this all the way-" Chandra's body burst into flames upon being punched by Sairaorg.
Sairaorg's eyes widened as the woman dispersed into embers that swirled around him before reforming at the edge of a roof.
"That was rude," Chandra said. She waved her hand as multiple jets of fire manifested around her and rocketed towards Sairaorg.
Sairaorg took off, dashing towards her. The flames hit him, bouncing off his armor. A property of his Longinus which was to protect him from ranged attacks. However, nothing in the Multiverse was truly infallible, not even the Gods.
Sairaorg appeared in front of Chandra and threw an extremely fast jab at her. She narrowly dodged the attack before coating her leg and flames and kicking him. Sairaorg blocked her kick before grabbing her leg and throwing her into the air.
She righted herself in the air, using fire to remain afloat.
Sairaorg came at her again. This time, Chandra swiped her arm, creating a cascade of billowing flames. If the fire would not damage his armor, then the sheer pressure and heat would blast him back,
As she predicted, the flames slammed into Sairaorg, throwing him back. Wasting no time, the fire around Sairaorg surged and manifested into a giant clawed hand. She grabbed Sairaorg with the hand and threw him into the ground.
She hovered over the ground. Her eyes narrowed when he shot through the smoke with only moderate burns on his person.
Chandra narrowed her eyes. A situation similar to Issei where his durability was also increased. No, this situation was like Gideon. Damned Hieromancer. Sparring him was a nightmare. Magic had no effect on him thanks to his Magic that made him nigh-invincible coupled with his already ludicrous physical power. She was beginning to wonder whether the tale of his ascension was true. She would have to resort to that.
Chandra raised her hand and closed her fist.
Sairaorg's eyes darted around him as the air began to superheat. Without warning, the air around him imploded and trapped him in a swirling ball of blue flames. He looked up and saw Chandra rear her arm back and push it forward.
In a split second, Sairaorg was sent rocketing towards the ground and crashed, causing the pressurized flame sphere to explode and melt the entire street around them.
"You still alive kid?" Chandra asked, standing up.
Kuisha hovered in the air, covering her mouth in shock and relief as her King stood up shakily. Sairaorg's pain tolerance was one of the highest in the Underworld. Even if his body could no longer take it, his mind could.
Sairaorg panted. The armor of his Balance Breaker was extremely scorched and parts of it had been completely melted off.
"Why do you keep insisting? You know what that guy did was wrong. Why do you want to blame me, the victim?" Chandra asked, crossing her arms.
Sairaorg remained silent. Why was he so adamant in bringing her in? Was this because it was an order from the Devil Elders? Did he even have any choice in this?
"Let me tell you something, kid. Don't spend your entire life listening to people who think they know what's better for you and instead listen to what you think is best for you," Chandra said.
Sairaorg said nothing as the words hit him square in the face. Chandra watched as he just stood there. Wait, does that mean I can go? She thought. Chandra shrugged and turned around to leave when she felt a familiar presence getting closer.
A Planeswalker… on this world? Her hair ignited once more as she prepared to fight another entity. As the signature got closer, she could make out a pair of white wings. Chandra sighed in relief and powered down.
The boy landed on the melted street, drawing his swords and pointing them at Sairaorg and Kuisha.
"Angel?" Kuisha landed next to her master and summoned a magic circle, ready to defend and attack as necessary.
Issei said nothing as he glanced over his shoulder. Chandra hovered in the air and waved. The girl slowly lowered herself to the ground and landed. "Relax, they're harmless," Chandra said, placing a hand on his shoulder.
Issei didn't listen to her and kept his weapons leveled at Kuisha and Sairaorg.
"Issei, I said calm down. I have this under control," Chandra said.
Issei flinched at her sudden change in tone. He sighed and lowered his swords. His wings dispersed into harmless particles of white light.
"Like I said you two, we're done with this. Your leader appears to no longer want to bring me in so we'll be headed out," Chandra said, grabbing Issei by the back of his collar.
"Wait!"
The two stopped and turned to see Sairaorg walking towards them. "For what it's worth, I had my doubts about bringing you in. I honestly wanted to talk it out with you before bringing you in," Sairaorg said.
"Oh? Really?" Chandra said, rubbing the back of her head.
"Wait. Bring her in? What did she do?" Issei glanced at Chandra.
"Some schmuck tried to rape me so I melted him and his friends into a pile of sludge," Chandra said.
"That schmuck was a Devil Heir and yes, he is a repeat offender. But in this society, there's nothing we can do. The laws are extremely skewed in favor of the heir," Sairaorg said.
"Wait wait wait." Issei shook his hands, completely lost.
"I'll tell you later," Chandra said. "We can also have our reunion later." She turned to Sairaorg. "So kid, what do you intend to do now?"
Sairaorg remained silent. "To be honest, I never had any intention of bringing you in. I just wanted to get your side of the story. Since what you say is true, I won't bring you back to the Underworld with me. I just ask that you help pay for the damages you caused."
"Damages?" Chandra's eyes widened when she laid eyes upon the cooling molten streets.
"Are you serious?" Issei gave her a deadpan expression. He turned to Sairaorg. "Just put it on my tab."
"Tab?" Kuisha asked.
"I'll have my benefactors pay for it. For now, do you know any safe places we can talk before I interrogate everyone?" Issei asked.
"Follow me. I know this coffee shop that's nice and out of the way," Sairaorg said. He stumbled forward, the pain of all the attacks having finally caught up with him. He winced as he touched a nasty burn on his side where the flames had eaten away his armor and flesh.
"Let me," Issei said, walking over. He raised his hand and cast Healing Salve, repairing Sairaorg's skin.
It was awkward to say the least. Issei and Chandra had not had a proper reunion yet here they were, sitting across from two Devils. Sairaorg Bael, as they learned his full name was, was the heir of the Devil Family Bael which held the rank Great King. However, as Sairaorg explained, his family had vast political power yet they didn't rule the Underworld.
The Underworld from what Issei understood was ruled by four individuals collectively known as the Four Great Satans.
"So your family just cast you aside because you didn't have this fancy power?" Chandra asked, biting into a donut.
"That's the basic gist of it," Sairaorg said.
"That's sad," Chandra said. "My father was executed just because I knew how to shoot flames out of my ass."
"They executed your father for that?" Kuisha asked.
"Well, he also tried to defend me so there was that. But… in the end, I got the man who did it and helped free the people in my home from his control. The fire of creativity shall not be extinguished on Kaladesh," she added afterwards.
"This is all nice and dandy but, Chandra. Chandra! You're here!" Issei said. He hugged her without warning, causing her eyes to widen in surprise. Issei was never a hugger. She smiled and wrapped her free arm around him.
"I missed you too, brat," Chandra said. Her eyes roamed over to Kuisha and Sairaorg, who got the hint and left the table under the excuse of going to the bathroom.
Issei pulled out of the hug. "I'm so glad I found you here in this world," Issei said. "I thought I was the only one that made it out."
"No, you weren't. Nissa made it out too but I don't know where she is. Jace was thrown across the Blind Eternities so I have no idea where he is. That traitorous bitch Liliana is somewhere out there, probably laughing at us behind our backs. And Gideon… Gideon…" Chandra clenched her fists.
Gideon. Gideon was the last person either of them had seen before Walking away. The Hieromancer had engaged Nicol Bolas in single combat to allow them time to escape and neither knew what happened. The idea of not knowing made them anxious and antsy to get off the plane.
"How are you?" Chandra asked.
"Me?" Issei asked.
"We're back in your homeworld. How is it? To be home in decades," Chandra said.
"It feels… It feels like that void I've been trying to fill is gone," Issei said. "I met my parents and siblings. I met an old friend. She's been helping me through this alongside my family."
"She?" Chandra raised an eyebrow in amusement.
"Oh, knock it off," Issei said. "Anyway, now that you're here. We can get off."
"Get off? You just got here. Don't you want to take a stroll down memory lane or something?" Chandra asked, leaning back against the chair. This world was relatively peaceful and that peace had allowed them to develop comfortable chairs. It was one of the greatest qualities in Chandra's opinion.
"We don't have time," Issei said, folding his hands. "I really wish we could stay on this world but… Bolas, the Gatewatch, his crazy plan to regain the power he had in his prime. We can't let that happen."
Chandra sighed, knowing that Issei was right in that regard. She grabbed her coffee and took a sip. The hot liquid did not bother her in the slightest. She had been through hotter things in her life.
"I know. I'm just entertaining a fantasy on this world. I wonder if Nissa would love it here," Chandra said, staring out the window. "We can always come back. This world is committed to our memories."
"I'm about to leave my family again. For good maybe," Issei said.
"For good?"
"We don't know what will happen. Bolas is unlike any threat we've ever faced before. He's so powerful that not even our combined strengths were able to lay so much as a scratch on him. Even me unleashing the full power of Ddraig and utilizing the magic Ugin taught me, we weren't able to defeat him the first time. We need to gather the rest of us and figure out a way to stop him," Issei said.
"I know. I think I know where they are but I need to confirm it," Chandra said.
"Wait, you do?" Issei had a look of shock and surprise on his face. The muscle brain Chandra actually knew where everyone was?
"Stop that. I'm not that stupid," Chandra said. "My mom's a genius artificer and I dabble. Who do you think helped make this regulator?"
"Sorry," Issei said sheepishly.
"Anyway, do you remember the contingency plan Beleren made?" Chandra asked.
"Which one? He made like a thousand of them and expected us all to memorize them by the end of the week," Issei said.
"Well, I forgot what the designation was but in the event that we were all compromised, we needed to rendezvous on the specific Plane," Chandra said. "The Plane where it all began."
Issei's eyebrows furrowed as he went deep into thought. After a few seconds, his eyes widened in recognition. Of course, he remembered now. It was the Plane that started it all by technicality.
"Dominaria," Issei said.
"Yup. I've been to Dominaria a few times. Nice place. Looks like this world except less developed," she said. "So when do you want to leave-"
Chandra's train of thought was interrupted when the door opened. Issei looked over and saw Mittelt, Kuroka, and Dohnaseek rushing over to their table. Chandra sighed and gave Issei space. It was clear to her that he knew these people.
"I'll go get another cup of coffee. Aether knows when I'll be able to drink that again," Chandra said, smiling.
Issei nodded and beckoned for the others to come and take a seat.
"Where were you!? When we saw what happened to the street, we assumed the worst!" Mittelt hissed, glaring at her teacher/friend.
"I managed to calm Chandra down and decided to bring her here. She was attacked by two Devils who were sent to bring her in after she turned the heir of House Valac into a pile of ashes," Issei said.
"Chandra… she was that redhead that went to the counter right?" Dohnaseek asked.
"Yeah. She's pretty nice once you get to know her a little," Issei said.
"We found her. So what now? Ame-sama and Yasaka-sama will want an update on our situation. Especially since you mentioned encountering Devils," Kuroka said.
"Well, we're bringing Chandra to Kyoto for one. That was what me and Yasaka agreed upon in exchange for me being their on-call mercenary. Before that, we need to discuss something with the two devils here," Issei said.
"Why don't we do that now?" Mittelt said.
"Hmm, that way we can get back to Kyoto. If they have any problems, you can just relay them to Yasaka," Dohnaseek said.
"Hmm, yeah, though I think I need to do this alone. I don't know how good it would look if you two were here. They might think that the Grigori and Shinto Pantheons are secretly allied with each other," Issei said.
"I can serve as a neutral third party if you want," Mittelt said. "Oversee the conversation."
"Yeah, that works," Issei said.
As the three discussed their next course of action, Kuroka began to feel increasingly uncomfortable. Devils. Two of them here in this town. She needed to get out but stopped when she saw the redhead staring at her. The woman's gaze unnerved her. If she ran, she might be perceived as a hostile threat and Issei had explicitly gone into detail about how this woman completely incinerated someone from the inside out.
"Kuroka."
"Huh?" Kuroka glanced over at Issei, who had a slightly worried look on his face.
"I need to get out of the booth to go get them," he said.
"Oh, sure," Kuroka said as she got up from her seat. She watched as Issei walked towards the bathroom.
"You're worried," Mittelt said.
"Huh? Oh! I'm not worried! Why would you ever think that, nya?" Kuroka said, putting on a mask.
"I know who you are. Issei might not but we do. You're Kuroka the Black Cat. An Ultimate Class Stray Devil who's wanted by the Devil Faction for murdering your king, leading to a near genocide of the Nekoshous with only you and your sister being the known survivors," Mittelt said.
"So if you know, you know why I feel a little antsy," Kuroka said, glancing over at Issei. Her eyes threatened to pop out of their sockets when she saw the two behind him. Sairaorg Bael and his Queen, Kuisha Abaddon.
"Lord Sairaorg," Kuisha whispered, seeing Kuroka.
"I know but… we're not here to make trouble," Sairaorg replied. Instead, Sairaorg offered Kuroka a kind smile and took a seat across from her. Mittelt and Dohnaseek stood off to the side. "Fallen Angels too? You have a lot of contacts."
"It wasn't easy. Mittelt is here to serve as our third party," Issei said.
"I see. Well then, usually this only happens during negotiations so what is it we're hashing out?" Sairaorg asked.
"I'm taking Chandra with me. She's an old teammate of mine and I'd like it if you didn't take her with you," Issei said.
"I've already told her that I just intended to get her side of the story. I never intended to take her to the Demon World. The courts there are heavily skewed in favor of the ones with high social standing," Sairaorg said.
"You can't possibly expect me to believe that you were just going to let her go," Issei said.
"Whether you believe it or not," Sairaorg said, "Matters not. I've changed my mind on what I want to do. The Heir of Valac is infamous for his sexual escapades and crimes. However, since he never targeted an heir or member of another house, he could get away with it."
"And your society condones serial rapists?" Issei asked. "You're as backwards as some people I've met."
Kuisha opened her mouth to retort but decided against it when she saw the look on her King's face.
"While it is true, there are those amongst us who try to make it better. It's a long and slow process and we'll never be able to stamp it out. However, we can only make it better each day so that fewer people will have to suffer," Sairaorg said.
"You're quite the admirable individual. I was worked up over a negotiation for nothing. I was really prepared to haggle with you," Issei said. "But are you sure? This could stain you."
"My noble reputation's been in shambles for years. The only reason I'm respected is because of my strength. If you pit me against others in the arena of high society and politics, I'd be devoured alive," Sairaorg said, letting out a booming laugh.
"It's the same for me," Issei said. "So…?"
"You can have her. I'll tell my cousin what happened and have him cover for me. By the way, I never got your name."
"Issei. Issei Hyoudou."
Hyoudou? Rias has a Knight with the same last name, Sairaorg mused.
"Sairaorg. Sairaorg Bael." He held his hand out.
Issei smiled and shook it.
"Now, before you go, how about we have some food?"
"I'd love that," Issei said.
Irina twirled her pen between her fingers. Issei had yet to call her and it had been nearly a week since Issei had left. She sighed and finished the math problem she had been stuck on for the past hour. A lot had happened in that time since Issei left.
Rias's fiance, Riser, had shown up in the club room and Rias challenged him to a rating game. Now, she was forced along their little training trip alongside Asia. Irina looked up, seeing Kiseki get slammed against a tree by the white-haired cat lady.
Rias called the match and berated the two on going all out. Irina thought the two were doing fine. How else were they going to learn if they didn't fight to their full potential? She sighed and wrote the answer down to another problem.
Irina closed the book and placed it back into her bag. She got up and walked away from the porch. She needed to get her mind off things. Those things were primarily Issei. As she arrived at the edge of a small clearing, her phone buzzed. Her eyes lit up and she immediately pulled her phone out.
"Hello?" she said.
"Rin?"
"Ise? What the hey man!? You said you'd call!" she said.
"Sorry, it's been hectic," Issei said.
"Where are you?" Irina asked.
"London," he replied.
"Woah, that's pretty far. How are things holding up for you?" she said.
"So far, good. I found one of my old friends and I'm with them right now. She's currently eating all the money in my wallet away with how much she ordered," Issei said.
She? Irina didn't know why but the fact that Issei's friend was a girl made her uncomfortable. She didn't like it. She didn't like it when Issei talked to other girls. Irina shook her head and smiled. "That's great. But don't go spending all your money on dessert." Irina let out a small laugh.
"Yeah, yeah. Thanks, Mom." Irina heard the amusement in his voice.
"Anyway, I've just been over here-"
"Irina!"
Irina looked back towards the house to see Rias and Kiseki waving at her. She sighed. They needed her for a sparring match.
"Is something wrong?" Issei asked.
"No. Asia just needs something. Look, I'll call you later okay?" Irina said.
"Yeah, sure. No problem."
"Issei…" Irina paused for a second. She struggled to find the right words to say to him. "I miss you."
Issei remained silent for a moment before answering. "To be honest, I miss you too. I'll try to finish this up as fast as possible so please, wait for me a bit longer."
Irina had a small smile on her face. "Yeah," she said. The phone line cut as she ended the call. She reached up to a small necklace she was wearing and touched it. This necklace was something Miki had given her the day after Issei had left. It was somewhat of a treasure to the two of them and Issei had it on him when he was found in their yard.
"You dummy. You kept this safe after all these years and you forget it when you leave?" Irina chuckled.
"IRINA!"
Irina sighed. "Hold up! I'm coming!" Gripping the necklace, Irina walked back over to the house.
In an alien world whose physical appearance could not be comprehended by lesser minds, Nicol Bolas opened his baleful green eyes. He hovered underneath a colossal pair of curved horns with a massive gem located in between the tips. His eyes gazed upon the myriad of countless worlds that existed out there. For a moment, he wondered if there were worlds he had yet to explore. He banished that thought.
"Master."
Bolas turned to see a man standing at the base of the horns. No, this man couldn't even be called such. His pale skin did little to hide the metal attachments to his person. His arm had been completely replaced by a mechanical appendage and his cloak and clothing concealed most of his metallic body parts. Bolas sensed the scheming in this man's head. His will was still strong,
"Tezzeret. Good, you're here," Bolas said. A bubble showing a blue orb with seven continents appeared in the palm of Bolas's hand.
"What is it that you desire?" he asked, kneeling before him.
"This world. There is something here of extreme interest to me that I could use to enhance the success rate of this plan," Bolas said.
"Say it and I shall enforce your vision," Tezzeret said.
"Rather obedient today. Yet, I sense thoughts of dissension in your mind. Shall I correct that?" Bolas said. His eyes glowed eerily.
Tezzert let out a scream of agony. The Etherium that he had grafted onto his body betrayed his will and began invading every pore. His nerve endings were amplified and stimulated as the metal began to puncture and pierce, expanding and repairing his muscles and flesh before shredding them once more. Blood stained the tranquil waters of the Pools of Becoming.
Tezzeret felt the etherium around his arm and skull begin to grow and close in on his eye. Before his eyes could be slowly pulled from their orbitals, the pain subsided. Tezzeret panted on the floor while Bolas looked down with the look of an indifferent God.
As he was right now or even in the future, Tezzeret could not even dream of standing before Bolas. That fluke he encountered when he attempted his rebellion against Bolas was all part of Bolas's plan.
"Tezzeret. This world. I believe it has a few of your old friends on it," Bolas said, projecting a mental image of Issei and Ddraig.
"Those two?" Tezzeret got to his feet, pain forgotten. Those two had humiliated him back on Kaladesh. It was a defeat he would never forget.
"Precisely. But I'm not sending you after them. Here's your objective. Instead, I want you to retrieve more artifacts like these," Bolas said.
Tezzeret felt an overwhelming amount of information invade his mind. So this was what Bolas wanted. These artifacts. Artifacts that could boost the strength of the Eternal Army.
"Once you locate the focal point of these artifacts," Bolas said. "Summon me and I shall take care of the rest."
Tezzeret nodded and moved to walk.
"Oh, and how is Ral Zarek progressing?"
"The plan is progressing as you have outlined. We should be ready once Vraska retrieves the Immortal Sun from Ixalan," Tezzeret said.
Bolas nodded in satisfaction. "You may go. And Tezzeret. That world. Use whatever methods you believe will help you achieve the objective I have given you."
Tezzeret said nothing before imploding in a swirl of blue and black mana.
Bolas held the world in his hands and chuckled. "Soon." He turned around and looked over an army of slumbering undead.
Alright, it's been a while. So, we're beginning to kick into high gear. Tezzeret is sent to the DxD World by Bolas. Issei found Chandra and now the two are thinking of leaving. Also, Sairaorg is staying alive. I don't want Chandra to kill him and incinerate London in the process. Which is why she stopped after seeing Sairaorg's face. That and because she sees that Sairaorg is conflicted about bringing her in. He's important for something later and he will become Issei's main liaison to the Underworld and the Four Satans. Well, don't forget to leave a review and I'll see you all in the next chapter.
