Chapter 8: Full Circle!

"So, wait. Let me see if I got this right." Aizawa says, an extremely annoyed look plastered on his face. "You and the ultimate problem child over there," he says pointing to Jiro and Izuku, "managed to not only outrun a batshit crazy doctor, but also, ran through the woods for 10 hours strait, got into a bar fight, win said bar fight, rob a truck which you left who knows were, destroy multiple robots, including a tank, survive an explosion but you also got to UA in under 3 days!" Izuku and Jiro both look at each other for a few seconds, look back at Aizawa and nod. "Jiro is my new favourite student and problem child!" The rest of the people present just nod.

Mina speaks up, excitement in her voice. "So, you're a real alien!" She all but shouts, making Izuku and Jiro cover their ears. "Yeah, I'm a real alien, also can you not shout so loud, OW!" Mina whispers sorry, with her head down. "So, you have still not told us all what this crazy adventure was about? Also, YOU MADE ME LOOK INSANE FOR YEARS!" Todoroki says, looking very annoyed. Others laughed, as Izuku just rubbed the back of his head. "One, I'm sorry if I made you look insane, it was fun though. And secondly, this whole thing was over these and this." Izuku says holding up the bag of rings and the red emerald.

Momo's eyes snap open wide. "I have seen one of those emeralds before!" Everyone looks at her shocked, non-more than Izuku. "You know where another one of the emeralds are! On earth!" Izuku demands. "Yeah, in the history museum downtown, there's one on display. It is marked with the name, the Chaos Emerald. To this day, no one knows why it is called that."

Izuku, now with a new sense of determination, immediately jumps up from the sofa he is sitting on. "Ok, my legs are tired, I am hungry, but these emeralds are too important to leave out in the open!" Izuku announces. Jiro looks at him confused. "Why exactly?" Izuku looks at her. "Longclaw said one thing to me before I left my planet. "Never let anyone get me or the emeralds", I thought it was strange at first, but after a while I started to notice the emerald gives off some strange energy. Chaos energy, as I dubbed it just now, a form of power that makes the nuclear reactor look like child's play. Its also what I generate when I move." Everyone looks shocked. "So—So say if someone, I don't know, a mad scientist doctor with an axe to grind with you gets their hands on one of these emeralds!" Jiro states, looking scared to death.

Izuku turn to the teachers present. "This is going to sound weird, but do you have a car?" "No, but we have a school bus, why?" Izuku just grins. "No! No, no, no, no, no! Not happening!" Jiro says staring at him. "Unless I get to drive!" Izuku and Jiro grin at each other. Everyone, even Aizawa looks scared.

Time Skip 20 mins later

"And here we have the grand centre piece of our display, the Chaos emerald." A tour guide says, showing a bunch of people the yellow gem sitting on its pedestal.

Suddenly a massive 'CRASH!' is heard as a school bus comes ploughing through the wall next to the display, barely stopping inches before it. "And with that we have reached our final destination. Thank you for riding Sonic tours and I hope you ride with us again soon!" Izuku announces over the bus radio. The members of 1-A slowly pile off the bus, all looking dazed or frightened. Izuku and Jiro get off the bus, completely fine. "You two are never! And I mean NEVER! Driving again!" Aizawa shouts, looking like he is about to throw up.

"Guys look! The emerald!" Momo shouts, running up to take a closer look. "That looks more like a diamond." Mina comments, with no one paying any attention. Izuku, running at the glass with all his strength, kicks strait through the glass, proceeding to grab the emerald and hold it next to the other. "So, now what?" Denki asks, everyone else agreeing. Izuku just stares. "I didn't think that far ahead."

"Well, I did!" Izuku and Jiro groan, everyone turning to see a unexpected sight. An army of flying white, egg-shaped drones, float meters away from them, armed to the teeth with guns and missiles. In the centre of the mass of drones sits a huge, egg-shaped plane with two massive hover engines strapped to the back, glowing a menacing red. "Okay, did someone leave their "Find My Phone" on?" Sonic comments sarcastically. We see Denki switch off his phone in the background. As the huge plane gets closer the canopy opens, revealing…

"Oh, great! Its Dr Fruit Loop again!" Jiro comments with a groan. "Welcome to Grand Museum, Miss Jiro. Are you enjoying the sights, or trying to cause mass property damage?" Robotnik comments, looking at the bus in the background. "Who the hell is this guy?" Bakugo shouts, demanding in his voice. "It's the government whack job who keeps trying to kill us." Izuku and Kyoka giggle. "Unsuccessfully!" The remark makes Robotnik scowl.

"Nice of you to swing by on your way to Comic-Con." Jiro says. "Yeah, what are you wearing?" Sonic continues. Robotnik looks at his suit and then back to the group. "It's a flight suit, designed to modulate my body temperature and reduce drag!" "Yeah, and yet you still are one." Izuku says, laughing his ass off, everyone else joining seconds later. "Oh-hoo! Good one. You are catching fire, rodent." Izuku looks insulted. "Hey, watch your mouth! Unless you want a little more of what I gave you earlier." Jiro looks at everyone else. "I hit him in the face." She says chuckling. "You hit him right in the face! It was awesome!" Izuku laughs.

"The time for talking is over!" Robotnik says through clenched teeth. "It's time to push buttons!" Izuku looks up to Robotnik grinning. "Your flying eggs are pretty impressive, Mr. Eggman, but let's face it, you'll never catch me!" Robotnik just laughs darkly. "Confidence! A fool's substitute for intelligence." Robotnik and the drones power up their weapons.

"That's not good." Izuku states, concern in his voice. "Sonic, I know you got the super speed and everything, but 1-A and I—" Jiro starts. "Totally defenceless against missiles and bullets? Probably gonna get blown up?" Izuku replies. "Pretty much, yeah." Everyone agrees. "Don't worry. I know exactly what to do." Izuku grins. Grabbing a ring from his bag, he tosses it to the side, thinking about UA. The gate ring opens, and sonic pushes 1-A and Jiro through it in less than a second. The gate then closes.

"I was not expecting that... But I was expecting not to expect something, so it doesn't count." Robotnik comments. The flying drones fire their weapons at Sonic, but now time seems to have stopped and everything is frozen in place as Sonic's awareness is increased. He stands there, tapping his foot and looking at his wrist. He then plays around with some of the missiles and bullets from the Egg Drones weapons and is able to destroy most of them.

But suddenly, Robotnik pushes a button, and the quill fully charges the Eggpod, which grants him supersonic speed. Sonic is making a shooting hands gesture at two more Egg Drones, but Robotnik fires a laser blast at the blue hedgehog boy, which he barely escapes from, causing him to enter slight delirium. Sonic recovers from his trance getting up off the floor looking down at all the rings he dropped.

At UA

1-A, the teachers and Jiro fall back into there main common room at UA. Jiro looks pissed. "Did he just do what I think he just did!" She shouts charging out the room, running to go find Izuku. Everyone just stands in shock. "You know, its all ways the quiet ones that are the scary ones." All Might comments.

Back at the museum

Robotnik is hovering in the air just above Sonic, staring down at him. "Can I give you one genius piece of advice? Don't run. It'll only hurt more if you do. And it's bad for your joints, they proved it." Robotnik laughs darkly causing Izuku to look up. "All right, Eggman. You wanna go fast? Let's get fast!

Sonic scrambles quickly to gather up all of his Rings and speeds off out the hole in the wall and down the street. Eggman puts on his goggles "The hard way it is." The cockpit to the Eggpod closes and Robotnik gives chase to Sonic, firing laser blasts at him, only to damage certain road sections. He turns left to continue the pursuit.

"That was an illegal left, by the way!" Eggman shouts.

The same freeze from the beginning of the Fic is shown and Sonic picks up the story. "So, here we are again! We've been through so much together! Now you understand why there's a psychotic robot doctor chasing a supersonic blue hedgehog boy. Want to know how it ends? Yeah, me too."

And that's chapter 8, we are getting into final part of the movie section of the story, just 2 more chapters left. Once again, I really appreciate all the people who have taken time out of there day to give this story a read, it means a lot to have a piece of my work liked so much. Anyway, with the sappy stuff out the way, an announcement! I will be putting a pole up on my account, asking some questions about the Fic and where people want it to go! At the moment I'm looking at the Sonic X root of stuff, as it allows me to introduce the main cast as well as cover the adventure games. But I want to know what other people think, so at the end of chapter ten, I will put the pole up and I want to know everyone's thoughts on what comes next.
