Chapter 9: Sonic VS Eggman!

The pursuit continues as Sonic continues to dodge laser blasts from Robotnik, even sliding under a large trailer to avoid them. "How is this possible?! No one's ever caught up to me before!" Pulling out a ring from his backpack, Izuku tosses it, thinking of anywhere away from here.

As Sonic dives through the ring, Eggman chasing at an even pace behind, a strange sight greets them. A mime is entertaining a little girl and her mother. When the mime makes a circular movement with his hands, a Ring portal opens up behind them, and Sonic zips through. "Coming through!" He shout running faster than ever before. "Sacrebleu!" The mime says angered as Eggman in his Eggpod charge through the golden ring. "Excusez-moi, monsieur!"

Sonic throws another ring, this one leading to the Great Wall of China. "Here we go! Room to open it up!" Sonic launches at Mach speed across the wall, tearing parts of it up as a sonic boom erupts in his wake. Eggman does the same, causing more damage and scaring nearby creatures. The two increase their speed even more until Sonic tosses another ring, opening a new portal. "I can't lose him!" Sonic says in panic, jumping through the new ring.

Launching out the new ring, Sonic picks up the pace racing across a desert. Robotnik fires multiple laser blasts from the Eggpod, destroying century-old monuments in its wake. Sonic skids to a stop in the sand, coming up with an idea. "If you can't beat 'em, blind 'em!" Sonic catches up to Robotnik and uses his speed to create a tornado of sand, which disrupts Robotnik's visual sight. "Lost… visual contact!" Suddenly Robotnik sees Sonic speed up the Great Pyramid of Giza! "You're not allowed up there! It's one of the Seven Wonders!"

Robotnik blasts out of the whirlwind, just as Izuku opens another ring gate, Robotnik fires a laser blast at him, sending him flying through the portal and hurtling him onto the streets just outside of UA, where he lays motionless and unconscious.

Robotnik menacingly appears through the portal as it closes. Jiro, 1-A, and a bunch of civilian's rush to see what the commotion is all about. When Robotnik cackles loudly and takes off his flight goggles. "You're an astonishing little creature! It'll be fun to take you back to the lab for a litany of invasive exploratory procedures. Any last words?" With his remaining strength, Izuku shouts. "Guac… I like that word…" Sonic slumps over on the ground.

Jiro, looking on in complete fear, notices Izuku's bag lying at her feet, and gets an idea. Turning around she throws a ring and jumps through. Jiro appears behind Robotnik via a Ring portal. "I don't have to tell you how many scientific breakthroughs have been made possible by animal testing. You're being very selfish." Robotnik says chuckling to himself.

Suddenly Robotnik hears, "Going my way?" and turns around just intime to see a fist hit his face, hard! Jiro punches Robotnik, knocking his flight glasses off his head, and the two-start fighting inside the Eggpod. Robotnik grabs Jiro by her shirt. "Who the hell do you think you are?!" Robotnik demands. Jiro breaks free and punches Robotnik again and grabs him. "I'm Blaze, your worst nightmare, bitch!" Jiro shouts, launching a fire ball straight into the pod's engine, destroying it. Kyoka, distracted by her victory, does not notice Robotnik rearing back.

Jiro gets elbowed by Robotnik and is thrown off the Eggpod when Robotnik jerks the steering yoke. Jiro hits the ground hard, a loud crack echoing across the area. "Ahhh!" Jiro screams, clutching her now broken left arm.

"Autopilot, adjust!" Robotnik announces. Robotnik puts his flight goggles back on his head as many people try to run over to Jiro, only to stopped at the sight of Eggman aiming his Eggpod's cannon at Jiro. "Why? Why would you throw your life away for this...thing? That's why I don't have friends. Next thing you know, you're somebody's best man, they want to have the wedding out of town... Like nobody has anything better to do!" Eggman sighs. "Anyway, where were we? Oh, yes-you were about to die!"

Suddenly, a blast of lightning bounces of the side of the Eggpod, Robotnik looks over to see the members of 1-A guarding Jiro with their lives, yes even Bakugo. "That's our friend you're messing with." Denki shouts holding his ground with the rest. Jiro smiles at her friends. "And our Blue Devil!" Todoroki shouts, holding a chainsaw! (WTF is happening?!) "Who, as everyone can see, is a very real creature and not at all invented by me!" Kirishima grabs the chainsaw off him, throwing it to the ground.

Looking over to an unconscious Sonic Jiro and everybody present, but Robotnik, sees him un-moving, causing everyone to feel grief. "I don't mean to be indelicate here, but someone should get some ice, keep the body fresh." Robotnik comments, not a care in the world. Jiro lowers her head, tears on full display.

"He's just a silly little alien. He didn't belong here!" Robotnik shouts, making Jiro's head snap up in anger. "That little alien... knew more about being human... than you ever will. His name was Izuku, Izuku Midoriya. This was his home... and he was my friend!" She says with such power, that even Robotnik flinched.

Suddenly, Izuku's eyes snap open. Upon hearing Jiro's speech, Sonic slowly stands up, his once emerald, green eyes, now sharp electric blue. Massive bolts of lightning radiate off him as he builds up his energy levels, becoming supercharged! Dr. Robotnik stares on bewildered, while Jiro smiles wider than ever before. "He's all yours!" Most of 1-A state, backing away from the fight, Jiro following in their footsteps. "Everyone get back!" She shouts as the final battle between Dr Ivo Robotnik and Izuku 'Sonic' Midoriya commences.

"I think you have something that belongs to me!" Sonic shouts, anger, and determination in his voice. Sonic clenches a fist, which starts to siphon the energy from his quill in Robotnik's Eggpod until it is no longer glowing. The energy, now transferred back to Sonic! "This is my power, and I'm not using it to run away anymore. I'm using it to protect… my… friends!" Dr. Robotnik puts on his flight goggles and readies the Eggpod's concealed weapons, the laser markers pointing at Sonic, who sets a start position on the road.

Robotnik smirks and fires the weapons and Sonic leaps into action, dodging the projectiles and starts to bombard the vehicle with body slams, each barrage increasing in speed until the only thing visible is a glowing ball of blue light. With the Eggpod now disabled, Robotnik becomes infuriated. "Now, you've done it!"

"Guess what, Eggman? I'm not leaving Earth. YOU are! Blaze?" Izuku shouts commandingly as Jiro, with her right arm, rears back and tosses the ring, forming a golden portal behind Robotnik. Then, both Robotnik and Sonic charge at each other, but with Sonic landing a powerful blow to the Eggpod, shattering it into pieces, sending it and a screaming Dr. Robotnik through the portal and it closes, sealing Eggman away. The electricity emanating from Sonic fades away with the crowd cheering for Sonic's victory as Jiro reunites with him.

"I told you, you got this." Says Kyoka, a knowing smirk on her face. "Hey, WE got this. I could not have done this without you!" Izuku says back, running up to her, embracing her in a hug. Kyoka blushes heavily, not noticing Mina smirking knowingly in the background. "Ow!" Jiro says, her arm still hurting from the fight.

Izuku, noticing this, pulls out the red emerald from his bag, which Jiro is still holding, and holds it next to her arm. All of a sudden, the pain stops, and Jiro looks on in shock as her arm becomes completely healed. "What? How? Huh?" Jiro stutters, looking at Izuku and the emerald in shock.

"What, you think this is the first time I have seriously hurt myself; I know the emerald can heal people." Izuku says, shit eating grin plastered on his face. Jiro punches him in the side. "Idiot!" She shout, before laughing along with Izuku. She then punches him again. "No more pushing people into rings!" Izuku just shrugs. "You know I can't promise that."

"You did pretty good, space 'hog." Jiro says, laughing at the stupid nickname. "Thanks, Kitty Kat!" Jiro goes red and Izuku laughs again.

"All right, everybody. Nothing to see here." All Might says, clapping his hands together. "Let's disperse! Just another ordinary day in Musutafu city. "Todoroki, I'll take that chainsaw." Everyone except Jiro, Izuku and 1-A start to disperse. "Come on, let's go! You act like you've never seen a fight between an intergalactic space rodent and a robot with a doctorate before!" All Might continue to shout.

"Well, I'm tired, hungry and really need to shit! Let's go back to UA shall we." Izuku shouts, this causes Jiro and surprisingly Bakugo to burst out laughing. Everyone looks at him in shock as they begin to walk. "What! He is actually funny!" Bakugo says, beginning to catch up to Sonic and Jiro. 1-A just continue to open and close their mouths like fish.

YEAH! Chapter 9 is finished! You have known idea how long I have been waiting to do this one! Anyway, one chapter left to go before I put the pole up, so I really was to see what people thought about this part of the story. Remember this is just the beginning.
