Chapter 12: Chaos Control Freaks!

Sonic runs towards Doctor Eggman's fortress. Several base defence turrets and robots power up, setting their sights on Izuku. As they shoot the hedgehog boy dodges the incoming fire but when closing in deeper into the base, he comes across a couple of E-12 Behemoth robots as they chase him. Everything pauses as Sonic comes into full view! "And here we are again, new friends, new look, same Sonic! Let's get to the good bit shall we. Where I kick Eggman's fat ass…" "Uaaaa...!" Sonic screams as he is launched by a spring trap straight into the air! He then gets hit by an E-12 Behemoth and is sent flying across the sky. "Uaaaaaaaaah...! I'm gonna be sick!"

Suddenly Tails and Amy fly by in the Tornado 2, just in time to see Sonic go flying by. "Oh, hay guys! Glad you could join me!" He says as he flies by. Suddenly the Tornado 2 is shot at by the base defences. Tails manages to evade most of the missiles but is hit by incoming flak fire. "Tails! The planes on fire! What are we gonna do?!" Amy exclaims, waving her arms around. "We're gonna save Sonic!" Tails shouts, turning the Tornado towards Sonic. Suddenly, Tails fires a missile at Sonic. "HOW THE HELL IS THIS SAVING ME! YOU BETTER NOT MEAN PUT ME DOWN FOX BOY, OR I'M COMING FOR YOUR FURRY ASS!" Sonic shouts as he vanishes into the treeline in the distance, the missile giving chase.

Tails and Amy look at each other, confused and concerned. All of a sudden, the air begins to glows for a few seconds. Then, Sonic launches out of the forest, spinning in a ball so fast that it looks like a blur to everyone else, heading straight for Eggman's fortress. Charging through the base defence turrets and then pierces against the Behemoths, he continues to charge heading towards the base tower, smashing through one of the lights. "Now that's what I call a spin ball." Sonic shouts as he disappears into the base.

Tails brings the Tornado 2 in for a landing only to be coming face to face with a huge rock. "Hang on, Amy!" Tails shouts. "Ahh! We're gonna... CRASH!" Amy shouts back. Tails try's the brakes but they don't work. He closes his eyes, expecting the worst, only to hear a loud 'CRACK!' as the rock shatters into pieces. Tails brings the plane to a stop, looking back he sees a figure standing atop a bolder staring at the carnage in the base. "Knuckles!" Tails shouts, Knuckles just nods. "Overkill! Just like I expected." Knuckles growls out.

Inside Dr. Eggman's fortress, an alarm triggers, seemingly sealing every door inside the base. We see the main control room of the fortress. "Doctor Eggman, the facility is in 100 percent lockdown." One of the Dr's robots state, sitting at its console pressing buttons rapidly. "Why does that cursed Sonic always get in my way?!" Eggman groans. "Maybe, it's because you're a psychopathic whack job who wants to kill 2 teenagers for science. Or maybe it's the fact you're trying to take over the world!" Jiro shouts, trapped in a cage in the conner. "Ooh, is that so? Well, he's too late to stop me this time! Once I insert the last Chaos Emerald, my energy amplifier will be invincible!" Eggman laughs. Jiro groans. "Because your plan worked so well for you last time!" She states.

As Eggman and Jiro keep arguing, a shadowy figure is seen watching the argument from above.

"Izuku won't let you get away with this!" Jiro shouts. Eggman cackles. "You're wrong Kitty – Kitty. He can't sto- ugh?!" Eggman jumps in surprise as Sonic smashes right into the fortress' control room. "Surprise, Bitch!" Sonic states, striking a ninja pose at the door. "Izu!" Jiro shouts in happiness. "Sonic!" Eggman groans. "Too late!" Eggman quickly inserts the last Chaos Emerald, inputs a few buttons, and pulls out a connected rod with a button on it. "You'll never stop me now, Sonic! Ho ho ho! All I have to do is to push this little button!"

Sonic just looks at him. "You have turned into a James Bond villain egghead. What do you have a laser for cutting people in half to." Sonic jokes. Eggman turns red with anger. "Anyway, that if you can push that button before I grab it!" Sonic states getting into a running position. Suddenly a E-13 Guardbot appears behind Sonic. Eggman laughs evilly. "Why don't you give it a try?!"

Sonic chuckles as he dodges the gunfire from the Guardbot, running around the room walls, leaving a trail of light behind him. "Don't let him get away!" Eggman shouts. The shadowy figure almost gets hit by a stray bullet. "Stop him, no matter what!" Eggman demands. Just then, Sonic lands in front of him, the Guardbot aiming at him and Sonic. "Ah, crap!" Eggman states as the Guardbot opens fire. The Guardbot continues shooting while Eggman ducks to avoid the gunfire, pressing the button to his machine in the process. "HAH! HERE WE GO!" Eggman announces victoriously, turning to look at his machine, only to look on in fear. He just now realizes it has been critically damaged by the Guardbot's gunfire. Sonic lands by Jiro looking at the machine spark. "OH, FU—" Eggman is cut off when the machine sends out a white blinding light consuming everything in the room. Sonic reaches for Jiro but can't reach her. "KYOKA!" He screams. "IZUKU!" She shouts back as they are both consumed as well.

Outside the base, Tail, Amy and Knuckles all watch in shock as a huge white light comes from the base, consuming everything around it. "What… is that?" Amy asks, fear in her voice. "Chaos Control." Is all Knuckles said before they were consumed to!

MIDBREAK

So, how's your day going. Mines good, just writing this Fic… Ok back to the story!

Sonic wakes up with a start. Looking around all he sees is a black void. "Great, the egghead did it, he killed us all!" Sonic shouts into the abyss. "You're not dead, Sonic." Izuku turns around to see a boy with orange and black hair, dressed in some sort of battle armour. "Who the hell are you!" Sonic demands, confusion on his face. "That is not important now, when the time comes, you will know. Now it is time for you to wake up. Oh, and watch out for the truck." Izuku looks confused as the boy fades away and the blackness subsides. Only to see a truck come barrelling towards him at high speed. "AHHHH!" Izuku screams as he dives out of the way, barely missing being hit.

"What the hell is going on! Where am I?" Sonic finds himself in the middle of an intersection with traffic continuously honking their horns at him. Taking a moment to look around his whereabouts, he realizes he is at a different location. Just then, a bunch of police officers pull up, looking at him strangely. "What is that thing?" Someone shouts from there car. Sonic looks confused. 'What are they talking about, everyone knows who I am!' Sonic turns around to see one of the officers trying to throw a net over him. Sonic just side steps. "What the hell is your problem!" Sonic says, getting annoyed. "Did you see that? That thing's got an attitude. A bad one." One of the officers says, causing Sonic to retort. "No shit sherlock!" Many gasp, Sonic just begins to walk off.

Suddenly, a net lands on top of Sonic's head, making him growl. "Don't worry, sarge! I got him!" Says one of the officers. "Fine, you want to play! Let's play!" Izuku says to himself as he takes off running, throwing the net off his head in the process, sending the officer flying into a fire hydrant, hitting him right between the legs. Sonic cringes. "That's gonna hurt in the morning!" He shouts running off onto a highway.

Speeding down the highway, Izuku hears sirens in the distance, but what confuses him more is he can here the distinct sound of a race car, multiple in fact! Looking back Sonic comes to a stop at the sight he sees. Behind him, 5 F1 style race cars pull up, revving their engines. Suddenly, the driver gets out the main lead car, and walks to stand in front of Sonic. "Hi there! You're a hard hog to keep up with." Izuku just looks at him funny and starts to turn away. "Hey, hold on! We don't get such fast company very often. In fact, I'm glad you showed up. This place is way too peaceful. Over the last 12 months, I've only made one arrest. Some joker got it into his head that he was a hot-shot driver. Had his own Formula-One car and everything. I guess he thought he'd give me a run for my money!" Sonic turns back slightly in curiosity. "But it was all over in a minute. It took me longer than that to suit up!"

Sonic turns, completely facing the driver and smirks in amusement, his hands on his hips, tapping his foot. (You know the look.) "He never had a chance. Of course, it's our own fault, this town's dull mainly because of us. You see, we're the high-speed pursuit unit, the S-Team, and I'm the leader of the team. They call me the 'Highway Star'. So even if you think you're the fastest thing around, think again!" Suddenly, the 4 other cars launch at Sonic. Izuku seeing this, smirks and takes off at high speed. "Run fast, kid! I wanna be the one to catch you!" The main driver shouts, jumping back into his car, launching after Sonic.

"Ha, the S-Team eh? The 'S' must stand for "slow-as hell"." Sonic quips as he continues to increase his speed. "It's accelerating! Boost your rear-wing angle to 20 degrees!" Shouts one of the drivers, all the others following his command. "Well, well, well! It's starting to look like the rush hour!" Sonic says, as the cars start to box him in. "Gasp! Oh no, how ever will I escape?" Sonic chuckles as he launches himself high into the air. "Where is he? Did we run him over?" The driver from before comments. Sonic knocks at his car's window. The driver turns to look around as Sonic runs to another car. Another driver suddenly sees Sonic's head peeking over his windshield. Turns out, he is standing on top of the car.

"Huh?! Hey, you! This is dangerous! It's irresponsible! What happens if kids start trying this?!" Sonic shrugs and… turns to the reader! "Readers, don't use Formula One race cars to chase hedgehog people!" Sonic quips before speeding off. "You're not gonna treat the S-Team like chumps! We'll teach you a lesson! Boost all wings .5 degrees and let's get this guy!" The team follows his lead as Izuku speeds up even more! "Full throttle!" The drivers shout as they charge forward. "Huh?!" The main guy comments at the sight before him. He sees Sonic running backwards with a smirk on his face.

"What the-?! How can-?! It's playing with us!" Sonic laughs and turns back around. "Well, it's been fun but I'm outta here!" Sonic says, taking off down the highway. "Playtime is now officially over! Attention all units, open the centre line!" Commands the leader, now taking charge. "I didn't think I have to do this, but I have no choice. I will not have anybody, faster than me, on my highway!" Activating a nitro's booster, the leader charges after Sonic, completely overshooting him. "The only way he can beat me now is if he goes supersonic! Ha, ha, ha!" Laughs the leader.

"Playtimes over pal!" Sonic says, shooting past the leader, winking at him on the way past. "Wooo—hooo!" Sonic shouts running so fast that he does not notice an incoming ramp, launching straight off it, into the sky! "I believe I can fly!" Sonic jokes as he flies across the sky. "Maybe this place isn't so bad. At least I know somebody who I can have fun with!"

Sonic realizes that he is heading towards a large swimming pool of a large mansion. "Ah, crap!" Sonic says as he plummets into the pool. While Sonic tries his best to hold his breath in the pool, he attempts to jump out of the pool but fails. He then sees a ladder and tries to run there but the water drag completely nullifies his speed. 'Great, Eggman's drag is back!' He thinks to himself. Just when things seemed over for Sonic, someone dives into the pool, holding their hand out for Sonic. Sonic takes the opportunity and is rescued. Sonic coughs.

"That was close! Are you okay?" A voice says. A voice Sonic recognises! Turning around, Izuku comes face to face with someone he nether thought he would see again. "Longclaw?!"

Dun, dun, duuuun! Yeah this just got interesting. So, I hope everyone enjoys what I am calling, The Adventures of Sonic Sarcasm: Season 2! No, no one! Ok fine MSHA season 2 it is then.
