Chapter 17: Izuku VS Izuku

UA, 1 day later

Class 1-A as seen, standing outside of Ground Gamma, as 1-B arrive to greet them. Suddenly, Aizawa cuts in before any arguments can start. "Right, that's enough! Today, we will be doing a Joint training battle, but with a twist." He says, smirking knowingly, scaring 1-A and making 1-B confused.

Over on the other side of Gamma, Team Sonic stand at attention, Sonic pacing back and forth in front of them. Finally Blaze speaks up. "Ok, 2 things. 1, what are you doing and what are we doing, and 2, when did Amy get here?!" Blaze asks, confused. "Well, Amy got here before us actually, to book hotels and stuff. As for what we are doing, you will see!" Sonic states, smirking. Suddenly, Aizawa, All might, Vlad King, and Midnight walks over. "Ok, the students are sorted into teams, and I have not told them what's happening. Are your people ready?" Aizawa asks, the others, but Sonic, look confused. "Ok let me explain. Eraser Head here, has asked us to be an obstacle for both 1-A and 1-B's training class, we will each have to take on 2 teams of 4, some of them 5. Our job is to make them have to fight, not just the enemy team, but us as well. We can capture them, however, only if they are completely done, any questions?" Sonic asks, looking to everyone. "I think we all understand, young Midoriya 2.0." All Might states, making Blaze and Amy laugh.

"All right then! Amy, you are taking round 1, which is, Anima, Chargebolt, Froppy, Red Riot and Shinso Vs Dragon Shroud, Gevaudan, Tsuburaba and Vine." Amy nods, walking off to the second entrance. "Next will be, Blaze! You will be, Can't Stop Twinkling? Creati, Invisible Girl and Tsukuyomi Vs Battle Fist, Comicman, Shemage and Vantablack. Wait here though Blaze as we are not done yet." Blaze remains where she is standing, looking confused. "Next is Knuckles! You will be up against, Ingenium, Shoto, Tailman and Tentacole Vs Mudman, Real Steel, Rocketti and Spiral." Knuckles nods, walking over to Amy. "Then its me going up against, Cellophane, Sugarman, Grape Juice and Uravity Vs Jack Mantis, Lizardy, Plamo and Welder." "So, why did I need to stay over here again?" Blaze asks, still looking confused. "Well, that's because we are going in together, it will be me and you Vs Deku, Bakugo, Earphone Jack and Pinky Vs Emily, Mines, Phantom Thief, Rule and Shinso." Blaze just nods, walking over to Amy and Knuckles. Sonic turns to All Might and Midnight. "Can you do me a favour, and watch Cream for me? She needs someone to watch her, just while the battles are going on." "Sure, I would love to watch the little girl!" Midnight states, grabbing Cream's hand, dragging her off to the observation room.

"Sonic, don't go to hard on them. I have seen what you are capable of." Aizawa states, making sure he does not lose any students today. "Sure thing, I will dial it down a bit." Sonic replies walking over to join Blaze.

Ground Gamma, Match 1

Amy ran around, hammer swinging taking Anima, Dragon Shroud and Vine out of the fight, only to be subdued by a blast from Denki a few seconds later, from that point, 1-A won with ease. Amy did not look pleased.

Ground Gamma, Match 2

Blaze started by launching herself into the air, firing low powered fire blasts that took down Aoyama, Tokoyami, Comicman and Shemage in less than 5 minutes in. This put both teams on the offensive with Battle Fist and Creati working together to try and take Blaze down, however due to her speed and agility, mixed with already knowing all her classmate's quirks, Blaze brought them down with ease. Hagakure tried to sneak up on Blaze, only to be punched in the face at the last second, getting knocked into Vantablack, taking them both to the ground. What did we learn from this battle, don't mess with Blaze!

Ground Gamma, Match 3

At the start, Knuckles started trading blows with Real Steel, eventually braking his guard, and bringing him down. Only to be encased in ice by Shoto seconds later, leading to a draw between 1-A and 1B. "Hay look, it's a Knucksical!" Sonic shouted, laughing his ass off.

Ground Gamma, Match 4

Sonic took off, basically bringing time to a halt, scouting out his targets. Coming up with a plan quick, Sonic returned to normal time, grabbing Cellophane, Plamo and Uravity and shoving them in the cage as fast as possible, mainly because these were the 3 that could make his speed impossible to use. Next he took down Welder and Jack Mantis, using Welder to weld Jacks blades to a steel pole, then bashing there heads together. Next he ran, using his speed and agility, managed to get Sato to punch Mineta in the face, then using his speed, ran up the side of a metal storage tank, leaped off and sucker punched Sato in the face, knocking him to the ground. Lizardy just walked into the cage herself at that point. Sonic then proceeded to do a victory dance.

Ground Gamma, Final Match

"Ok, we need to plan here, we don't know who we are up against." Jiro stated, getting Mina and Midoriya's attention, Bakugo just continued grunting in a corner. "Well, from what we know, 1-B should not be a problem right, its just who ever will be interfering in the battle we need to worry about." Was all Mina said before the match started, making Midoriya jump. Suddenly an announcement was heard. "To all teams in Gamma, this time, there will be 2 other competitors for you to fight, so good luck and stay on guard!" Was all that was said before everything when silent. "Ok, me and Kacchan will draw the 2 opponents away, you and Mina get to work setting up a trap for 1-B." Deku shouts to Jiro as everyone nods, following Deku's lead, yes even Bakugo, though reluctantly. As Deku and Bakugo run across the battlefield, they come to a complete stop on seeing the entire team of 1-B, knocked out on the floor. "Well, that was easy." Is all Bakugo says, before being kicked across the battlefield, leaving Deku on his own to fight Sonic. "Huh, this is ironic, isn't it?" Sonic states, getting into a fighting stance. Deku doing the same, only to launch at each other seconds later.

On the other side of the battlefield, Mina and Jiro are setting up a trap for the enemy team, only to see Bakugo land next to them seconds later. "Ow! Why does this keep happening!" He shouts, not expecting a reply. "Maybe its because your super annoying." States a voice, coming from the top of a metal storage container. Looking up Mina, Jiro and Bakugo come face to face with Blaze, flames ignited in her palms. "1-B is out! Deku is currently fighting the blue haired copy of himself." Is all Bakugo states, taking off towards Blaze, only to be met with an axe kick to the face, knocking him out cold, as Blaze lands next to him on the ground, staring Mina and Jiro down. "Mina, go help Deku. I've got me!" Is all Jiro says, running off, Blaze following close behind. Mina nods and runs off to find Deku.

Back with Deku and Sonic, people look on in shock from the observation room as the 2 boys, covered in lightning strike at each other, seaming to almost match each other's moves perfectly. "Now this is manly!" Kirishima states, looking on in amazement with the rest of 1-A and 1-B. Suddenly, strange black tendrils shoot out of Deku's arms, launching out into the near by areas of the arena. Sonic, seeing this, stares in shock, dodging all the vines of darkness as they crash into the ground next to him. Suddenly Mina comes running over, looking up at Deku in fear. "I take it this is not normal." Sonic asks, just getting a nod from her.

As Jiro continues to dodge the fireballs thrown at her by Blaze, they both suddenly notice the black tendrils flying all across the Arena. They both look at each other for a second, before running in the general direction of the shadowy vine's origin. Coming to a stop, they stare in shock seeing Deku, screaming in pain as the black whips fly around him, launching at everything in their path. Jiro then comes up with an idea. "Hay me! Launch me at him!" She shouts, making Blaze look over at her and nod. Getting into position, Jiro is launched by Blaze, flying through the sky, grabbing straight onto Deku. "Midoriya, snap out of it!" She shouts, trying to get him to gain control, only to notice the vines lash out more. Suddenly she gets another idea. "Mina, wake Shinso up! Get him to use his quirk on Deku!" Jiro shouts, getting a nod from Mina as she runs over to wake up Shinso. As Shinso wakes up, he looks on in shock at the chaos in front of him. "Shinso, you need to use your quirk on Midoriya! Please, it maybe the only way to get him to stop!" Mina shouts, getting a nod from the boy. Standing up, he shouts to Midoriya. "Midoriya, FIGHT ME!" Is all he shouts, getting a reply "YEAH….!" From Deku before all the tendrils stop, floating in place, before suddenly retracting.

Deku snaps out of brainwashing a few seconds later after being slapped, hard round the face by Jiro, only to fine they are about 50ft in the air and falling, fast! Thinking fast, he holds Jiro tight as he uses One for All, full cowling to slide his way down the sides of steel containers, eventually coming to a stop on the ground. He takes a minute to regain his composure, before nodding to Sonic, starting the battle once again.

As Sonic and Blaze circle Deku and Jiro, Deku comes up with an idea. "Spinning kick!" He says to Jiro, who looks at him for a second, before nodding. Grabbing Jiro's hand, he starts to spin at high speeds, only to let go a few seconds later, launching Jiro toward Blaze, kicking her straight in the stomach, taking her out of the fight. Midoriya then catches a punch from Sonic, lifting him in the air and throwing him straight up. With no place to run, Sonic starts to get beat on by Deku's air moves, finishing him off with Shoot Style a few seconds later, taking Sonic out of the fight. "AND 1-A WINS!" The loudspeaker announces as Deku, Jiro and Mina celebrate.

UA Dorms, 2 hours later

"I must admit, that was impressive." Sonic states, shaking hands with Deku. "Thanks, it was tough though. And if it weren't for that strange new ability, I would have been done for." Deku states back, Sonic agreeing. "What was that ability anyway?" Knuckles asks, still rapped in blankets trying to get over the cold. "It's called black whip, and I have no idea where it came from." Deku states, looking confused. "Well, if you can learn to control it, you will be a force not to be messed with!" Sonic states, with a smirk.

On the other side of the room, Jiro and Blaze are seen having a conversation. "So, you like Sonic?" Jiro asks, causing Blaze to choke on her drink. "W—what are you talking…" She is cut off by Jiro. "Please, I know when I have a crush on someone." She states, making Blaze look down in embarrassment. "I guess, yeah." She says, making Jiro smile. "Then why have you not told him." She asks, making Blaze think. 'Why have I not told him?' She thinks to herself. Just then Sonic shouts to the room. "Hay, why don't all of you come with us to Station Square, come see the sights and all." Making everyone look at him in shock. They all turn to Aizawa, who just sighs. "Fine, but only because it will be educational." All of 1-A scream in celebration, running off to pack their bags.

Eggman's fortress

Eggman can be seen in his control room, fixing the machine for the Chaos Emeralds. 4 are seen in his possession. Suddenly, a tall man with a dark helmet walks into the room, a few people following close behind. "So, you have a offer for us, Mr…" The man asks, catching Eggman's attention. "Ah, All for One!" Eggman states to the man. "My name is Dr Ivo Robotnik, although I go by Eggman. Yes I do have an offer for you. You see, I am currently trying to collect these rare artefacts known as the Chaos Emeralds, gems of such power, they can bend the universe around the wielder." This catches All for One's attention. "Glad to see your interested, well currently I have 4 of the emeralds but the others are in the hands of someone I believe you have a history with. One Izuku Midoriya!" The others look shocked. "And you want us to retrieve these emeralds. Fine, but I want a share of the power!" States All for One, making Eggman smirk. "I think this is the start of an amazing partnership." Eggman states, laughing.

And that's chapter 17. Next comes Team Sonic-A vs The League of Eggman. Then after that comes, beating Eggman part 1 and 2, then it's onto the Shadow Saga! Stay tuned and CHAOS SWISSROLE!

(P.S. I am not doing the Chaos Saga as personally, I'm not that much of a expert on Sonic Adventure 1, so I'm just going to stick to the stuff I do know! However, I may do it in the future when I know more about the game. :) )
