Chapter 20: Beating Eggman! Part 2

Eggman's Fortress

Eggman and All for One stared in shock at the sight before them. Where once stood the blue haired boy named Sonic, now stood a powerful being with glowing golden hair and ruby red eyes, an arura of power emanating from him, making all around him cower in fear. "You want my power so bad Robotnik, come take it!" Shouts the now Super Sonic, bursting out of the machine and in the blink of an eye, floated before Eggman, fist raised high, ready to strike, only to have to turn around and catch a punch from a surprised All for One, with his quirks active! "That's impossible!" Shouted the usually calm All for One, as Sonic punches him in the chest, launching him out the roof of the base, launching after him. "Time to go!" States Eggman, setting his base to self-destruct, running out the room, Decoe and Bocoe following close behind.

Landing Site

Everyone watches in amazement as a huge golden light emanates from the top of the Fortress, only to disappear a few seconds later. Suddenly, everyone stares in shock as All for One goes flying out the roof of the tower, a golden Sonic following close behind. "How the hell has he gone Super Saiyan!" Denki shouts, looking on in amazement as, All for One gets punched around the sky, eventually landing in a crater in the ground, not to far away from them. "If Sonic's distracted by All for One! Blaze, Jiro, go find Eggman! I'm gonna help Sonic!" Deku states charging off to go help. Blaze and Jiro nod to each other before running off to find Eggman. "We should do something to help as well!" Denki and Mina shout, Todoroki agreeing with them, as they run off to go find anyone who needs help. Knuckles just pulls out his bean bag and sits down with Rouge standing next to him.

Eggman Hangar

Eggman can be seen running through the hangar, running towards his Eggmobile, only to stare in shock as it explodes into flames, as Blaze walks out the inferno. "You didn't think I would let you go without saying goodbye did you!" Blaze states, flames coming off every part of her body. Eggman backs away in fear, only to press a button on his sleeve, revealing a trap door behind him, which he jumps in. Suddenly, from the hole flies a very familiar vehicle. "The Eggpod 2.0! How you like it, scared are you!" Eggman states, only making Blaze smirk more. "Good, this may be a challenge now! For you!" She says, charging at Eggman with a flaming kick.

Back with the main battle, All for One is going all out against Super Sonic, still being unable to land a hit on the glowing boy. Suddenly, Deku jumps in, Full cowling active, kicking All for One straight in the face, sending him flying. "We do this together!" Deku states to Sonic, getting a nod in return. Taking off at high speed, both Izuku's strike All for One, sending him high into the sky. Sonic taking advantage of this, zooms off after him, hitting him from one direction, only to come back half a second later hitting him from another. He keeps increasing his speed until the only thing that can be seen is a golden light traveling faster than the eye can see, throwing punch after punch at All for One. "You have hurt countless people!" Sonic shouts, punching him higher into the air. "You have killed even more!" He says again, continuing to punch All for One. "You have taken peoples quirks and ruined their lives!" He shouts, once again punching AFO into the air higher. "RUINED FAMILYS!" Sonic screams, launching up above AFO. "I will not let you hurt anymore!" He shouts, opening his palms pressed together. "CHAOS BLAST!" He screams, launching a huge ball of Chaos energy straight at All for One, hitting him dead on, sending him crashing to the ground. "This is for everyone you have hurt or will hurt in the future!" He says, launching at Mach 50 straight into the ground, turning All for One into a fine paste on the floor, ending his rain of terror. Sonic gets up off the ground, looking around at all his friends, who stare at him in complete shock. "Where is Eggman!" He shouts, taking off back into the sky.

"Getting tired yet Kitty!" Eggman shouts, sitting in his Eggpod MK2 staring Blaze down. Blaze is barely able to stand, blood pouring out of her side from where a stray bullet hit her. She looks tired, but does not give up. "Not until you pay for all you have taken from everyone! FROM ME!" She screams, launching into the air, firing a huge stream of fire straight at Eggman, this time taking out both engines, bringing the Eggpod crashing to the ground, leaving Eggman to try and crawl away. "Please, have mercy!" He asks, fear written all over his face. "Like all the times you tried to kill me and Izuku! Like you did with my quirk! Like you did to all the innocent people you have killed!" She screams, punching the ground next to him. "I should end you for what you have done, but I'm not like you. Unlike you, I don't kill people." She says, getting up and limping away out of the hangar, leaving a scared Eggman on the floor, as the room around him collapses on top of him.

As Blaze is walking out the base, she sees Jiro helping a bunch of soldiers on to a helicopter, flying away to safety. Jiro turns around to see Blaze, only to gasp in shock at the state she is in. "We need to get you medical help, now!" She shouts, catching Blaze as she falls to the floor, out cold. "SONIC!" Jiro shouts, getting the flying Super's attention, as he lands next to her and Blaze, only to stare in shock at the state Blaze is in. "She needs help, now!" Jiro says, tears falling from her eyes. Sonic walks over, using Chaos Regeneration, heals Blaze up, however she does not wake up. "She is completely drained, she will be out for a while, but will be fine." Jiro states with a sigh of relief. Sonic looks back to her, and nods, taking off back into the sky he takes a look around at all the damage. "I did this." He says with a sigh. Pointing both his hands into the sky Sonic shouts, "CHAOS CONTROL!" separating the emeralds from himself, launching them off in all directions, all but the yellow one. Then he slowly floats down to the ground, the last of his energy fading as he falls into darkness.

Everyone watches in amazement as Sonic preforms Chaos Control, creating a huge blast of light that spreads across the planet. As the light dies down, the emeralds separate and launching off across the planet, all but the yellow one, that floats into Sonic's hand as he lands on the ground, proceeding to pass out. Looking around, Knuckles can not believe what he is seeing. "Angel Island? Here!" He states, making everyone look to the huge floating Island sitting above them. "That's not the only thing, look!" Says Tails, pointing towards an Island in the distance. "Is that… South Island!" Knuckles announces making the members of class 1-A present snap there heads up. "You mean the island Sonic came from!" They say in unison.

NEXUS

"It is done." Sonic says, once again talking to the boy in the shadows. "Good, I am glad your universe will be safe for now." He says, walking over to look at a podium in the centre of the strange room. "What is that?" Sonic asks, pointing to a strange gold sword sitting on a pedicel a bit further away. "Excalibur, nothing important to you. Now come over here, I want to show you something." The boy states, as Sonic walks over. "This, is your universe!" He says, pointing to a map on the table. "And this, is all the universes you can travel to with Chaos Control!" he states, pointing to 20 other universes. Sonic looks on in shock, but before he can ask any questions, he is once again watching the Nexus fade away. "You wanted to know my name correct." The boy states, removing the mask he is wearing. "Names William, William Dragonova, and when the time comes, you and a bunch of others will join me in defending the multiverse from a threat." He says, waving bye to Sonic as he disappears.

South Island, 2 weeks later

Sonic shoots up with a start, looking around at his surroundings to see he is somewhere he knows. "This is Longclaws old hut, how did I get here?" He says, getting up and looking around at his childhood home. Everything was the same as he had left it, nothing had changed. "This is impossible." He says to himself. "Nothing is impossible Izuku, I thought I taught you that!" Says Longclaw, walking over to Sonic and giving him a hug. "Wait, did Chaos Control do this, are we back home!" He states in excitement. "Not quite, but yes, Chaos Control did this." She says, showing him the world outside. It was south Island all right, but many things where different. One, he could see Station Square from the hut. Two, there where multiple different buildings across the Island and finally he sees all his friends, sitting down at a table having lunch. "Am I dreaming?" He asks, not believing this to be real. "No, this is real Izuku, welcome home!" Kyoka says walking over and kissing him! (Yeah, that just happened) "W—Wha?" Is all Izuku can say, as Kyoka hugs him tight. "I like you, dumb ass. I thought that was obvious." She says smiling at him, as he smiles back to her.

"Wait, where are 1-A and our other self's?" Izuku asks in surprise. "They went home about a week ago. You have been out of it for 2 weeks." Blaze states, making Sonic just nod. "And what about Eggman?" He says, while Blaze looks down. "He was killed in the hangar when it collapsed." Blaze says, and Sonic just lets out a sigh. "So, its over right, no more bad guys." Blaze asks, only for Sonic to shake his head. "There will always be more, Kyoka, but we will be ready for them, and fight them on our terms." Sonic says, making his friends cheer.

And that's the first part of Sonic X done, I really like the way part 1 ended. And I know what you are thinking, YOU KILLED EGGMAN, WHY? Well, because there is a whole multiverse of Egghead out there, who says the main one wont show up at some point, wink, wink. Anyway, stay tuned for the shadow saga and CHAOS…

"Izuku, have you ever wondered who your parents are?" Kyoka asks, catching Izuku off guard. "I mean, yeah I guess. But I never had any memories of them, so I just forgot about it to be honest." Izuku says, cuddling up to Kyoka under the moonlit sky. She just nods.

In the background, we see Longclaw look on in happiness, only to turn around and pull a frown. Walking into the hut, she moves a rug off the floor, revealing a hatch. Opening the hatch, she climbs down the ladder, opening up into a small room. She walks over to a trunk in the corner and opens it, revealing a diary with a name on the front, one Gerald Robotnik. Opening to one of the middle pages, she sighs. "I can never let him know the truth." She states walking away, leaving the page open. "In all my time as a scientist, I have strived to find a cure for my dear Maria, however so far I have failed. But as for her brother, I have been successful in that department. With the serum I made from Chaos Energy, I was able to cure the boy, and in the process, give Izuku extraordinary powers. Now I just hope I can give the same cure to Maria in time, before its to late." The chapter ends with a photo of young Izuku, Maria, a young boy with black and red hair and Dr Gerald Robotnik, all posing for a picture, all happy smiles on their faces.
