Hi all. This is the part where I tell you things about me. I'm Tom. I am not your satnav. I'm a third-generation Estonian-British student (ya, I rock that accent) who writes in his spare time. Spare time being when I am not plagued by the education system. Most of what I write nowadays is going to be Transformers. I might dip back into DC and/or Marvel and/or Portal occasionally, but since I learned I'm really quite good at Transformers, I'm going to concentrate on that. Sorry, DC, but you're just not as cool as giant robots. Even if your story is fantastic and the plot is gripping and amazing; if you can't write English properly I will hate it. Learn how to spell and use basic grammar, punctuation and sentence structure. Please. I have a DeviantART! Have a look if you want to see some of my OCs and/or laugh at them! I like old music. 70s and 80s mostly. However, I still like some new-ish music. My many ships are complicated. No one messes with my FitzSimmons, though. I don't slash in my own writing...well, uh, I don't usually slash...uh...Well, I ship it like I see it. That's that. OMG I'M COMPLETELY ADDICTED TO FLUTTERDASH HELP MEH Transformers is my favourite fandom ever, and has been since I was four. Don't ever die, Peter Cullen. My favourite superhero is Squirrel Girl. SHE'S FANTASTIC OMG (and strangely hot) I like Doctor Who. Doctor Who is good. Bow ties are cool. I teach karate to children so that I can have my own private munchkin army. I have so many bloody DC OCs I can't even keep track anymore. They are my personal injection of class and humour into otherwise dour universes. I have one Transformers OC. Her name is Frequency, she is a Decepticon, and she is always drunk. That is all you need to know. I write in an ironic, sarcastic, lighthearted tone usually. I like slipping in myriad references to the fandom I'm writing for, and I'm partial to throwing in a one-liner or two in anything from dialogue to basic description. Also, puns. Pretentious? Moi?! I'll get my coat. |
