Hi, my name is Hannah and I am 19 years old. I've been writing songs since the age of 13 and writing stories since I can remember. I started writing my first fanfiction 'Everything Changes' in 2012, which was roughly a 50,000 words capacity. This was a South Park spin-off, which centered around the characters in high school, and was a coming of age novel about adolescence and the challenges it brings. From there, I wrote the sequels 'Everything Changes II Life After High School', followed by 'Everything Changes III The Baby Boom'.

Later after taking a short break, I began writing short, one-shot stories for Coronation Street, which varied from 500-3000 words long. I began writing another Coronation Street novel, 'The Day He Fell In Love With Me', which began as a one-shot but resulted in being a 27 chapter book instead! I continued to write longer Coronation Street novels, some of which the titles include 'Love You Like a Sister', 'Living It Right' and 'Oblivious', which all had very varied themes.

In the midst of this, I worked on another South Park project, and wrote a novel called 'The Secrets Inside Us', this was one of my favourite books that I've written to date, as it centered around six different issues that teenagers may tackle during their teenage years and early adulthood; depression, homosexuality, teenage pregnancy, cancer, addiction and anorexia. It offers support and awareness to those affected by and who know people affected by these issues, as I have been affected by a few myself, and therefore portrays how these are discovered and emotionally and physically dealt with by the characters, in a fictional format.

I am currently now working on three (!) fanfictions at once, all of which are based on Coronation Street, but again, vary in themes considerably; 'I Hate You I Love You', a story about baby loss, a sequel to 'Love You Like A Sister', and now a new fanfiction called 'What I Came Back Here For'.

Outside of fanfiction, I have been writing a script 'Play Pretend', which is my own original writing and is written in a format for a TV series. It, alike 'The Secrets Inside Us', is written about seven teenagers; Dan, Scarlett, Molly, Kieron, Sadie, Flynn and Thatcher, in year eleven, in a British high school, set in the outskirts of Birmingham. It again tackles similar issues as the fanfiction, but with my own original characters and in a more realistic format, playing out over an anticipated course of about ten series, consisting of roughly 10-15 episodes.

Alongside this, I write short one-shots of my own experience or an abstract or metaphorical interpretation of these, as well as mind mapping ideas for other novels and storylines.

My aspiration is to work as a writer or script writer, which would be a dream come true. Or if failing that, a journalist or something in the TV or media environment.
