Hello, everyone on Fanfiction, and welcome to my profile. You may call me Stormie as many already do XD Just to give a little info about myself, I have a Bachelors degree in marine biology, a chem minor, and a Masters in pathobiology. I wanted to be a vet, however, life took me in a different direction, and so mainly I'm interested in aquatic animal research. Finding a job in the field is a challenge though, so in the meantime I have plenty of hobbies ranging from writing, drawing, and videogames. My imagination runs rampant, like with most scientists, so writing is my main outlet. I like being creative.

I like many animes, my absolute favorites being Yu Yu Hakusho, Dragon Ball Z (and now Super), Yugioh, HunterXHunter, Naruto, and Hikaru No Go, though I do have some honorary mentions like Black Cat, SAO, DNAngel, and the Wallflower. I also really love Pokémon, though are there still some people out there that don't consider it an anime? I've been reading fanfiction since the start of my college days, and I started writing about a year or two into my studies. I started reading fanfics for the Wallflower, though the fandom died down quite a bit. I expanded into the YYH and DBZ fandoms, and basically started my writing career there. I sometimes read other stories by request or in passing, usually by suggestion from friends on the site.

As for my writing, I have a TON of stories in-progress right now, but I'm slowly trying to work through them. I started many in college back when there wasn't as much going on in school and in life, but since then it's become a challenge to continue. It doesn't mean I won't, but new ideas have struck me, and though I have a list of these stories saved on my computer to work on at a later date, sometimes ideas hit me and haunt me until I decide to work on it, and then boom, another story. I'm trying to work on giving myself conditions before starting new stories, telling my self which stories need to be completed before I start working on the knew one, or how far along others should be. That's honestly helping fuel my drive a bit. Of course, we all know that life can be unpredictable and hectic, and that is especially true for me. I've been going through many transitions, so I can't have an actual update schedule. I usually try to make promises if I feel I can keep them, but right now it's just not possible. I rarely ever put stories on hiatus, but if I do it will definitely be known. I have no immediate plans to do so.

Many of my stories contain OCs and are AU, although some occur after series. If that's not for you, I take no offense. I delve into the emotional realm of things in my stories, and I have had some surprisingly good feedback even from those who normally don't like a certain type of story. If you're curious, give it a try, but if there's something you don't like, feel free to tell me in a kind, constructive matter. I'm not forcing anyone to read my stories. I mainly write them for me, but I do try to make them relatable to those going through similar issues. My rule of thumb is that if even one person favorites, adds to alerts, or continuously reviews, I will continue with the story as best as I can. I do enjoy getting feedback on my stories.
