As he introduced himself and got each of the campers' names, Owen couldn't help but notice signs of just how much the crisis produced by the Indominus breakout had impacted these teens; they all had looks in their eyes that reminded Owen of the expressions worn by military veterans struggling with PTSD, and who could blame them after what they'd been made to endure? However, Owen knew from his time in the Navy that simply talking about the source of one's trauma was only half the battle, as actually facing the source of it was just as important, hence why he agreed to help arrange this meeting. Granted, confronting the foundation of trauma was supposed to be a slow process, but with all the dinosaurs the kids must've been around since the 'incident', Owen figured now was as good a time as any to finally get these teens the closure they needed, especially now that the Indominus rex, who'd adopted the name Elise, was in a far more emotionally and mentally sound state compared to when Owen first got through to her that fateful night on Main Street.

In an empathetic tone, Owen stated to the young guests, "I get why you'd all be nervous about this, but please trust me, Elise is completely different from how she might've been like when she first ran into you. You just need to make sure to show her respect." While most of the campers remained skeptical over what was about to unfold, Darius recognized the sincerity in Owen's words, and although a large part of him was still wary about the impending 'reunion', a small portion of the passionate adolescent was now more curious to see if Owen's words rang true. "You think this guy's serious about the Indominus?" Kenji whispered to Darius, as if the older teen had read the latter's mind. "Maybe" Darius responded, still conflicted about how to feel. "Alright, Sunshine, it's showtime!" Owen called to the outside of the fake log. Realizing what was happening, Ben, his voice rife with apprehension, asked, "How do you know you she'll stay under control?" Owen replied, "Funny you ask that, it reminds me of something another guest asked during Elise's first show." Elise? Sammy asked herself; It's a pretty name, but why that? Owen continued, "Our… dynamic isn't based off control. It's all about a relationship founded on mutual respect and trust."

As he finished the statement, a portion of the barrier of foliage behind him rustled and was pushed aside as Elise finally emerged. While the kids were collectively unnerved at seeing the Indominus rex in person for the first time since their day-long fight for survival, Darius and Sammy in particular couldn't help but notice that there were differences in the pale white theropod's body language. When they'd seen her for the very first time, the hybrid had moved in a stealthy manner, sneaking up on two Camp Cretaceous employees trying to warn the teens about the danger they were in (as a result of Elise's fateful escape) before bringing her jaws down onto them with swift ferocity and subsequently letting out an aggressive roar of dominance. In the present day, on the other hand, the Indominus moved in a far more unperturbed fashion, making her way to the false log in a relaxed, almost content, manner with no trace of hostility. Upon arriving at the structure, though, Elise, not knowing what to expect from the 'special' humans Owen had told her about the previous day, felt her mind abruptly screech to a halt when she lay her crimson-orange eyes on the six adolescents nervously looking her way. She remembered these humans; she'd stumbled upon them during her first time out of the old paddock, recalling sending them falling from the sky as a result of attacking the towering metal structure they'd been in, only to end up pursuing them two additional times as the day had unfolded, at one point tearing a man in white with an odd head crest to pieces after driving him from the vehicle the campers had used during her second encounter with them. Because of how much had happened since her rampage, Elise had almost forgotten about the six young humans, but seeing them, combined with their scents flowing through her nostrils, brought several memories flooding back.

Note: For those who may be confused, the "man in white with an odd head crest" is meant to refer to the scientist Eddie from Camp Cretaceous who Elise dismembered during the events of season 1.
