As two newly arrived siblings start their day in Fuyuki, the warm breeze welcomes them to a peaceful yet strangely ominous city.
Light shone through the windows of a small house in east Fuyuki. A boy with black hair and blue eyes was woken up by the morning sun.
Ritsuka Fujimaru slowly got up from his bed while still half asleep, that was at least, until he heard footsteps quickly going up the stairs and into his room.
"Here she comes..." - the boy said to himself, bracing for what was to come.
The door to his room was opened by a little girl no more than 12 years old, black hair and deep blue eyes, who jumped to Ritsuka while giggling.
This was none other than Miyu Fujimaru, his younger sister.
"Big bro, it's our first day at school!" - Miyu said, happily.
"Yes... Miyu, can you please get up from me?" - Ritsuka asked his little sister, as she was stopping him from getting up.
"Alright, I'll go wait for you downstairs, mom left the breakfast ready" -
Ritsuka got up from the bed and went down to the living room to eat. While Miyu was alredy dressed for school, Ritsuka was still in pajamas. He looked around the house, but couldn't find a single trace of their parents.
The Fujimaru family had moved from Tokyo to Fuyuki two weeks due to the work of Ritsuka and Miyu's parents and today, both of the kids would be starting school.
Only problem was that their parents were rarely at home ever since they arrived. If the kids were lucky, they would see them two times a week.
"Mommy called while you were asleep, she said that she and daddy are going to be working late today" -
"So nothing new then, guess I'm the one doing the parenting now" - Ritsuka sighed before looking at Miyu - "Listen up Miyu, this is what we're going to do. Luckily, our house is pretty close to Homurahara, so as soon as you finish classes, you're going go to the entrance and call me, I'll be taking you home and returning to my classes until my day is over. If I'm busy, wait for me until I can go for you, understood?" -
"Yes big bro!" -
"That's my little sister" - Ritsuka patted Miyu on the head - "Now, let's eat" -
After they both finished their breakfast and Ritsuka got dressed, the brother-sister duo made their way towards Homurahara Academy, where they both would be attending classes, with Miyu going to the Elementary School Division.
"So, one last check, what will you do after your classes are over?" - Ritsuka asked Miyu before entering.
"Go to the entrance and call you so you can pick me up and take me home. If you're busy, wait for you" -
"Very good, now good luck on your first day" - Ritsuka kissed Miyu's forehead before leading her to her classroom and himself going to his own classroom.
"So, mine was Class C, that should be easy to find" - Ritsuka said to himself while wandering around the high school building, quickly making his way towards his classroom, where he saw that, to his disgrace, he had arrived late.
The students stared at him as he entered the door, judging the new guy immediatly.
"Now now, everyone, settle down. Young man, I assume you're our new student, I was alredy starting to think you wouldn't be showing up" - the teacher, a middle aged old man said.
"Yeah, sorry about that" - Ritsuka scratched his head a little bit in embarrasment.
"Come here and introduce yourself to the class, please" -
As told, Ritsuka entered the classroom and stood up in front of everyone.
"My name is Ritsuka Fujimaru, my family moved to Fuyuki only recently so I hope you all can help me settle down in the city, a pleasure to meet you all" -
"Great, now just sit down and we can continue the lecture... Sit down next to Emiya" -
Ritsuka sat down in a free chair next to a boy with orange hair and amber eyes.
"Hey, Shirou Emiya, nice to meet you" - the boy said while extending his hand in sign of friendship.
"Nice to meet you to"- Ritsuka shook Emiya's hands before warmly smiling.
"Fujimaru, I know you just arrived but no getting distracted" - the teacher quickly said.
"Sorry, wasn't my intention" -
And with that, Ritsuka's new life at Fuyuki had officially started.
Some quick clarifications before ending the first chapter:
Yes, in this story Miyu is Ritsuka's younger sister.
The original cast of Fate Stay Night will stay mostly the same, with a few differences that will become notable as the story moves forward.
The Servants that they will summon will also be different, and that goes for all of the original cast.
As the summary says, this is an Abnormal Holy Grail War, which means that there will be more than 7 Masters and Servants, but you'll have to wait to find out who are they exactly.
And, at least for the moment, that would be it.
