Marth, Sting, Flora and Byron make their way inside Drake Forest to search for their friends.
"I hope they didn't went far, I don't want to spend too long searching for them" - Byron said as he dodged a tree's roots.
"Well, we only have about 2 hours before it goes dark, so we better move fast" - Sting said as she jumped from root to root, showing her impressive agility.
"Shall we split up? We can cover more terrain that way" - Flora suggested.
"Not a good idea. If we can't find them and it goes dark, it's just going to be far worse for us" - Marth countered her idea.
"It's the Drake Forest, what's the worst that can happen? Don't overreact bro, please" -
"Says the one who thought the stories of the giant Trevenant were true?" -
"I had 5 years old, stop bugging me with it!" -
"Can you guys stop bickering? We have a job to do" -
After the small argument between the siblings, they returned to their travels across Drake Forest. Not too long from there, they found some of their friends playing with their Pokémon on a river.
A boy with spiky white hair, red eyes and tanned skin sitting next to a Bagon. At 177 cm, his name is Hamstah.
A girl with long mint cream hair which is styled in a ponytail and turquoise eyes with a Swablu at her head. At 180 cm, her name is Hairy.
"Hey, we've been looking for you" - Marth said, grabbing the attention of the other two.
"Oh Marth, good morning, have you picked your starters alredy?" - Hairy asked in a somewhat regal tone.
"Guess she'll keep doing that... And to answer your question, yes we have" -
"I wanted to alredy start travelling through Shinto, but the professor told us to first search for you since he wants to give us a gift" - Flora explained.
"How nice of him. Well, we decided to stay here, but the others ventured deeper into the forest, we'll help you search for them" - Hamstah said happily - "Hey Sting, race me to where they are?" -
"You know I'm going to beat you, don't even try it" -
"Leave your competitions for another time please, we need to fulfill the professor's request" - Hairy interrupted the two.
While they were travelling and talking about what they expected of their trip, a loud noise suddenly stopped all of them.
"Oshawott, Water Gun!" -
"Pawniard, dodge it and use Metal Claw!" -
"Wait, are those who I think they are?" - Byron asked.
"Yang and Yuh. And if they're there..." -
"Then Spectrum and Pants will also be there!" - Marth finished Sting's sentence.
"Come on, let's get to them!" -
Rushing to the source of the sound, they came across 2 boys fighting a Pokémon battle.
The first had mid blue hair, steel blue eyes and a height of 171 cm, his name is Yang.
The second had curly white hair, yellow eyes and a height of 169 cm, his name is Yuh.
"Told you, even in the forest their voices are way too clear and easy to distinguish" - Byron bragged a bit about being able to find them.
"Hi everyone" - Yang commented while yawning.
"Seems like you were too excited to wait and decided to simply have a Pokémon battle alredy" - Sting said to the two.
"He challenged me, so I had no choice but to accept" - Yuh excused himself.
"Gotcha... Where are Spectrum and Pants?" - Flora asked.
"Did someone wanted to see us?" - a voice behind them asked.
Two girls came from the forest holding berries in their hands. The first had long red hair, eyes of the same color and a height of 175 cm. The second had long brown hair and black eyes, had a height of 180 and in her head she had a brown hat with black polka dots.
The first girl's name is Spectrum, the second one is Riku, tho her friends like to call her 'Pants'.
"You went for food?" - Hamstah asked.
"This two just kept fighting and we got hungry, so we decided to go search for something to eat" - Pants explained to the group.
"You didn't fought against them?" - Hairy was curious to know.
"Pants did, I decided to wait a bit" - Spectrum answered.
"I won 3 rounds against Yuh and 2 against Yang, guess I'm simply better" - Pants said while jokingly winking.
"I'm going to beat you next time we fight" - Yuh made a promise to the girl.
"You are welcome to try of course, cutie Yuh" -
"Can you like, not call me that? It's a bit awkward" -
"Well, leaving aside their couple talk, we're still missing quite a few. We need to keep moving, less we want to be here when it goes dark" -
"Hairy's right, as fun as it would be to see Yuh's embarrased face..." -
"HEY!" -
"There's still job to do" - Hamstah finished after being interrupted.
"If it helps, I saw 4 others going deeper, past the Arceus' Statue, they probably arrived by the waterfall alredy" - Spectrum informed the rest.
"It definitly helps Spectrum. Now come on everyone" - Marth rallied the rest to continue their search.
Passing thorugh the Arceus' Statue, the siblings Marth and Flora looked upon it with admiration.
"They did that thing where they prayed to the Statue?" - Hamstah asked the two.
"Yes, before going with the professor and seeing the whole think with the Dark Stone in the town" -
"Dark Stone what now?" -
"Oh right, you guys weren't there. They found a fragment of the Dark Stone outside town" - Marth explained to Yang after his question.
"What was a piece of the Dark Stone doing there? I find all of this weird" - Hairy shared her thoughts.
"You're not the only one, but I think it's good. After the War, the Dark and White Stones were believed to be gone for good, I'm glad at least a piece of them was found" -
Before they could continue any further, they were intercepted by 2 individuals, one of them was a boy with white hair, black eyes, glasses and a height of 163 cm, his name is Fivier. The second was a girl with blonde hair that is put in long twin tails, red eyes and a height of 160 cm, her name is Rokah.
"I thought I heard your voiced, hi everyone!" - Rokah said happily.
"Rokah, Fivier, why are you in such a rush?" - Sting asked, seeing the two sweating.
"We found something on a cave nearby, we need you to see it, come on!" - Fivier said before leading them all to a cave in the deepest parts of the forest.
