After a malfunction in the Storm Border's engines forces them to land on a strange world, Chaldea comes across a small village under siege from a larger force. Seing the civilians getting slaughtered, they decided to help them.
Rays of sun hit Ritsuka's face as the boy started to open his eyes.
Where was he? The last thing he remembered was the alarms on the Shadow Border going off like crazy, red lights filling every hallway and Mash telling him to stand behind her.
He got up, seeing he was in an open field, laying down on the grass. Was this paradise? Had he died in whatever happened to the Shadow Border?
"Oh, senpai's finallly awake" - Mash's voice talked from behind him.
The girl had her shield in hand, which had some burn marks on it.
"What happened Mash? Are we dead?" - the Master asked, not knowing the situation.
"Luckily, no. After the accident, Da Vinci and Nemo made an emergency landing in this place, but we stil don't kknow where exactly are we" - the girl explained as she took Ritsuka's hand and took him to the Storm Border.
The ship wasn't in its best state as its engines didn't worked and the outer part sustained heavy damage, with some parts literally falling apart. Luckily, the staff seemed to be alright and no one suffered severe injuries.
"So whay was I sleeping next to a tree?" - Ritsuka asked Mash.
"Oh, Da Vinci tried to make it start again but since it was too noisy, she asked us to take you to a distance so you wouldn't listen and wake up" - the girl explained.
Ritsuka was at least thankful that he got to rest, even for a little while.
"Oh, Ritsuka Kun!" - Da Vinci spoke from inside the Border - "Come here" -
As they entered, they noticed the inside didn't looked exactly bad, it was nearly intact.
"I gotta thank Nemo for improving the outer shell, it really saved the Border" - Ritsuka said.
After getting to the cockpit, they saw Da Vinci trying to manage everything by herself alongside help from Holmes and Nemo.
"Glad you're awake Ritsuka Kun, we need your help" - Da Vinci was quick in her coments.
"I'm here, say the word" -
"Summon your Servants and check the area we are in, see if there's any sort of civilization close that we can make contact with" -
"Got it, we'll do" -
Ritsuka got the briefcase where the Servants Spirit Origins were kept and went outside, instantly summoning all of them. Luckily, the Storm Border's mana core wasn't damaged, otherweise they'd be helpless.
"Hey everyone, we have work to do" - Ritsuka called out to all his Servants, getting their attention.
"What is this place Master? The mana here is... Overwhelming" - Artoria Saber said, noting the high amount of magical power in the air.
"That's what we're going to do. We'll have to look for any signs of human or human like life and try to make contact" -
"Well, I don't think it will be too hard" - EMIYA said while looking at the distance, noticing smoke coming out from the distance.
As they got close to see what caused the smoke, they noticed that a battle was taking place. Soldiers wearing an unknown armor were attacking villagers, who tried to defend themselves with the help of a woman who used levitating blades.
"Seems like the villagers need help urgently, come on everyone" -
The Servants followed their Master as they approached the battlefield, ready to fight against their enemies...
