While helping the villagers of Ionia rebuild, the Servants learn more about the world in which they ended up.

Sitting in a log, Ritsuka looked at Irelia. Her way of fighting was something he'd never seen before, even while working with so many Heroic Spirits, and he had witnessed some of the craziest things one would ever.

The Blade Dancer stopped her practice and turned to look at the boy.

"I see my dance was entertaining for you" - she said with a warm smile.

"The movements are amazing, they are nothing like I've ever seen" -

"Thanks. I must always train, one never knows when an enemy force will strike and I will have to fight once more" -

"I admire your dedication Irelia, you remind me of one of my friends" -

"Speaking of them, I'm very grateful for your help in rebuilding what the Noxians destroyed when they came here. Without you, it would've taken way longer" -

Nearly an entire week had passed since Chaldea arrived at this land called Runeterra and helped the Ionians fend off their enemies. In that time, they decided to help in whatever they could, from rebuilding to chasing away the few Noxian patrols that remained in Ionia. Well, 'chasing away' is a nice way of putting it, as those confrontations always ended up in fights, very one sided fights.

Meanwhile, others like Holmes, Helena, Waver, Da Vinci and Merlin were more interested in getting as much knowledge of the land they arrived. From the elders of the village, they learned a lot about the history of Ionia, including their traditions, legends and myths, and from warriors like Irelia, they learned about the world outside:

From the anti magic kingdom of Demacia, crossing the military empire of Noxus all the way through the vasts deserts of Shurima, this world was filled with creatures none of them had seen before.

"Master, Irelia, there's someone who wishes to speak with you" - Artoria caught the attention of both and took them to the village, where there was a man who Chaldea saw during the fight when they arrived, but left so soon they couldn't question him.

"Shen, what are you doing here?" - Irelia asked.

"I came here to question your new allies. Ever since they came here, the balance between the spirit world and human world has been dangerously altered" -

"The balance? Well, I guess we can..." -

"What is this mongrel talking about?" - a loud voice was heard from behind them.

"Oh goddamit. Gil, please, let me handle this" - Ritsuka tried to defuse the situation before it got bad.

"Is he one of your comrades?" - Shen asked Ritsuka.

"Yes, his name is Gilgamesh, but right now..." -

"I am the King of Heroes, and who might you be? - Gil asked Shen.

"I'm the leader of the Kinkou Order and the protector of Ionia's balance. With your arrival, I sensed how it was disturbed to a degree that only happened during the first Noxian invasion" -

"The balance of your land isn't of interest to us, return to your Order and leave us" -

"I'm afraid I cannot do that, 'King'. I must make sure the balance remains, by any means neccesary" -

Gilgamesh quickly got annoyed by the conversation. With no hesitation, he opened several portals of his Gate of Babylon behind Shen.

"I will not repeat myself. Leave, or I will..." -

"Gil! Stop it!" - Ritsuka yelled, ready to stop him using a Command Spell.

Seeing his Master, Gil seemed to calm down a little. He closed the portals before taking a few steps back.

"Make it quick mongrel" -

With the King of Heroes calm, Ritsuka could finally talk to Shen calmly.

"Sorry, but we cannot leave. Our ship is damaged and until we can repair it, we're stuck here" -

"And how long will it take for you to fix it?" -

"Don't know, Da Vinci and the others are doing their best but so far, the progress has been slow" -

"I see. In that case, I'll try to hold the balance long enough until you can fix your vessel and abandon Ionia, but containing the spirits will be difficult" -

"If you need any help with that, we have some guys who might be able to lend a hand" -

"Excuse me?" -

"You know, the beauty of Chaldea is that you can always count on someone to be able to help you with your problems, even if they involve spirits. Tamamo, Enkidu!" -

Both Servants immediatly appeared behind Ritsuka, ready to help.

"What is it Master?" - the Chains of Heaven asked.

"Our friend here... Shen right? Needs some help with handling the spirits in Ionia. While he takes care of the balance between the human and spirit worlds, I'm going to need you two to hunt any rougue spirits that you might find" -

"Understood Master! Your wife Tamamo will handle this with no problem!" -

"No problem Master, we'll do our best" -

"Thanks you two! I guess they can help with the problem for the moment, right Shen?" -

"Some help would ceirtantly be helpful. Thanks, it is very appreciated" -

"Don't problem. Now, we're going to keep working on the ship, see you later" -

Ritsuka then retired to the inside of the Storm Border while being observed by Irelia and Shen.

"Your new friend is a strange one" - the master of the Order said.

"He is, but after all, his help was incredibly useful. If they decide to stay in Ionia, we might not have to worry for Noxians ever again" -

"I don't know Irelia, I have a feeling that if they stay, worse things might come in the future" -

While the two spoke, far away, in the trees, a man with a silver mask looked at them.

"It seems that I have found my next scenario" - he said while he held his gun with a tight grip - "Let's start setting everything up" -
