Mash opened her eyes to find herself in a burning city. Flames and dead bodies surrounded her, but she at least had someone watching over her...

The eyes of the girl turned around to see everything that surrounded her, trying to find something alive, but nothing came up, she seemed to be the only thing here that still breathed.

"Hello? Is anyone here?" - she called out, but go no answer.

Walking in the burning streets, she tried to recall the events that led to her being trapped in this place: The Command Room was on fire and she met with Ritsuka one last time, she took his hand and a bright light blinded her. When she awoke, she was in this place which reminded her of hell.

The girl's leg were shaking, her heart was beating so fast she could hear it and she was sweating buckets, in fear for whatever might be waiting to take her life, and in spite of all of that, she decided to push forward, looking for someone or something that might help her.

Her travelings however came at a halt when 4 skeletons appeared, seemingly from nowhere, and surrounded her, stopping her from even thinking of running away.

There was nothing she could do. While she had a Mystic Code, the skills were used for supporting Servants and not for direct fighting, and she had little to none experience in hand to hand combat. As she saw one of the skeletons rise his weapon to strike her, she closed her eyes, thinking this was the end... But the hit never came. Instead, she felt something soft touching her, like petals of a flower.

When her eyes opened, she saw Ritsuka standing next to her, but his clothes were now different than when he was at Chaldea.

Instead of a white shirt and black pants, he wore an attire similar to that one of the Mage of Flowers, but not only was the cloak missing, the entire set was now a deep black with golden details. In his right hand, he was holding a sword similar to Excalibur, but with a darker aura around it.

"Fujimaru?" - Mash asked confused.

"Hey Senpai, sorry to keep you waiting" - the boy answered - "Hang on, this shouldn't take long" -

As he said that, with quick movements of his sword, he dispatched all 4 skeletons with seemingly no issue. Mash looked at all of this without saying anything, all the while red and black flowers bloomed wherever he stepped on.

Ritsuka grabbed one of them and picked it up, smelling it before giving it to Mash.

"Here, for a cute Senpai like yourself" -

Kyrielight was shocked, but quickly regained her senses to ask a very important question.

"Ritsuka, what are you?" -

"Glad you ask. My name is Ritsuka Fujimaru, and I'm a Chaldea Demi Servant, Caster class, a pleasure to meet you" -

"A... Demi Servant?" -

"First, let's get out of danger, then I can explain everything to you, so just hang on for a bit" -

After that, both got away from the streets and headed towards an empty building so that Ritsuka could explain the situation to Mash, and neithless to say, she was... Confused.

"So you have a Servant inside of you... But don't know which Servant is there exactly?" -

"Yeah... They never actually explained to me, they only said that the fact that they could summon a Servant like the one inside of me was beyond a miracle" -

"How's that?" -

"The situation for the summoning of the Servant inside of me was... Weird, to say the least, and for a while they didn't even knew what class it was. Only about 1 month ago did doc found out that it's a Caster" -

"So a Caster?" -

"Yes, it's one of the 4 Chivalry classes and it specializes in the use of magic and spells" -

"But wait... Magic? You use a sword" -

"Yeah, I also don't know how to explain it, I just know that the Servant inside of me can summon it to fight, really useful though" -

After that, they laughed a bit together before a voice from outside distracted them. They looked outside the window and saw a figure cloaked in shadow, moving his head from side to side like it was searching for something.

"That last human should be somewhere around here, Lancer said this is where he lost track of her" - the figure said to himself.

"Lancer? So they are Servants as well?" - Mash whispered to Ritsuka.

"Very likely. Well Master, I'll wait for your orders" -

"Master?" -

"Yes, I'm a Servant, your Servant to be precise, guide me well Master" - Ritsuka said with a little smile.

Mash blushed for a second before looking at her hand. In her right one, she had some sort of red tatoo in the form of a heart that seemed to be divided in three parts.

"This are..." -

"Your Command Seals, the physical prove that you're a Master and I your Servant" -

"In that case... Ritsuka, attack that Servant down there!" -

Summoning his sword, Ritsuka prepared to jump from the window.

"As you wish Master" -

With sword in hand, Ritsuka landed a good blow on the shadowy figure down in the street, launching it against a wall.

"You let your guard down" - he said at the figure - "You should be more careful next time" -

"Dammit, another human?" - the figure said as it got up - "No... This is different, the power of a Servant is inside you" -

"Correct, my name is Ritsuka Fujimaru, Demi Servant belonging to Mash Kyrielight. In the name of my Master, I'm taking you down" -

"You're welcome to try" -

With that, the figure pulled 5 daggers out of its cloak and launched it against Ritsuka, but he used his sword to block the attacks before launching another swing.

The shadow figure quickly dodged the hit before using a dagger to stab him in the shoulder

"Ha, so you're an Assassin class? That explains a lot" -

"And you... Your fighting stile reminds me of a Saber, but you're clearly someone different" -

"Come at me, and I'll show you" -

"Very well then, I'll take you down here and now" -
