Hawke's as much a mage as Fenris is an elf: skin-deep and, in their opinion, irrelevant. Another thing they have in common is they are trained warriors. Lastly, they both share the opinion that the other is tedious and annoying (this a widely held opinion). A story about coming together by being apart, about memory and meaning, and about when to shut up.
