Under Mash's orders, Ritsuka fight his first enemy in the flaiming inferno that is Singularity F.
Ritsuka's sword clashed with his enemy, sending the Servant flying onto a car nearby before trying to stab him, only for him to dash away at incredible speed.
"His Agility is annoying as hell, I'm not going to be able to deal with him quickly" - Ritsuka said to himself.
The enemy Servant launched a number of daggers against him which he blocked with no effort using his sword before summoning a staff and shooting a red beam from it, making his opponent climb on a building to escape.
"Come on Assassin, is that the best you can do?" - Fujimaru taunted his enemy, trying to get him to lose his cool and make a mistake that would result in Ritsuka being able to land a killing blow.
"So this is how you want it to be... Fine" - removing the cloack covering his body, Assassin revealed something that neither Ritsuka nor Mash expected, a giant arm that shined red and orange.
"Me and my mouth..." -
Fujimaru's sword clashed against Assassin's arm without neither of the two being capable of taking the advantage. With his other hand, Assassin launched 3 daggers which cut right through his enemies' clothes and making him take a few steps back.
Using his oversized hand, Assassin held Ritsuka's head and tried to rip it off, but he was stopped by Mash, who came running from the building while using the Mystic Code to power up her Servant.
With this, Fujimaru threw Assassin off him and managed to catch him off guard, delivering a powerful strike with his dark Excalibur which made Assassin fall to the ground.
"Thanks for that Senpai" - Ritsuka thanked his Master before approaching Assassin - "As for you... You wouldn't happen to know if..." -
"Spare me the useless banter Caster, I will not reveal anything to you. If you're going to kill me, do it now" -
Knowing that making a Servant confess through torture would be quite difficult, especially as he was dealing with an Assassin, Ritsuka decided to fulfill the desire of his opponent and with a single slash of his sword, he cut him in half.
"That was..." - Mash didn't knew what to say. This entire situation was weird to her, and seeing her Servant cut another one with one swing definitly didn't helped.
"Forget about him, he's inconsequential. Now Master, let's keep moving, the sooner we find something to communicate with Chaldea, the better" -
As such, the duo started to make their way in the flame ridden wasteland that was once filled with life, surrounded by the corpses of the inhabitants of the city.
"All the life in the city, lost because a couple of mages wanted a wish, how stupid" - Fujimaru stated - "This is a test to the result of the mages' greed Master, please never follow their steps" -
"Why are you talking about them like this? You sound... Awfully agressive" - Mash remarked, making her Servant stop dead in his tracks for a few seconds.
He turned back to look at her, but as he did, Kyrielight noticed how his left eye turned from his usual blue into a bright golden, while the right one remained normal.
"Let's just say, my experience with mages hasn't been the best" - the boy said, with his voice distorting halfway through his sentence, scaring Mash.
After that however, he seemed to return to normal, or at least, as normal as he could get, and the two resumed their walk. Midway through it, they heard someone scream, a woman's voice.
"Where did that came from?" - Mash asked, looking at every side before managing to track down the source of the sound to a nearby park - "Caster, follow me!" -
"Understood" -
Master and Servant ran all the way towards the park, finding Chaldea's Director Olga Marie fighting against two more Shadow Servants.
"Stop them Ritsuka!" - Mash yelled.
"No need to tell me" - with sword in hand, he jumped in front of the two Servants, protecting Olga.
"Ritsuka!? What are you...!? And you are...!" - Olga said, increidbly confused as to what was going on in that moment.
"Director, get up, he'll protect us" - Mash said as she held Olga's hand and got her up from the ground.
"Get cover both of you!" - Fujimaru yelled.
Both of the enemy Servants attacked Ritsuka, with one of the using chains to hold his arms with the other stabbing his stomach with a naginata.
"Dammit... You two..." - Ritsuka took a good look at both of them - "Lancer and... Rider, right?" -
"Congratulations, now perish" - Lancer said preparing another attack.
With a kick, Fujimaru managed to take distance from the enemy Lancer while Rider attempted to immovilize him completly, but was distracted when Mash started throwing rocks at her head.
"You, what are you doing!? You're going to get us killed!" - Olga screamed as she saw the Servant look at them directly.
Thanks to this, she took her concentration away from her hold of Ritsuka, so the boy used this to get rid of her chains and threw her against a car.
"Good job Master" - he said with a smile before clashing his sword against Lancer's naginata.
With a slash, he managed to push Lancer away before summoning his staff and firing bolts of black energy against his enemy, which to his surprise failed.
"Your accuracy is terrible Caster" -
"I wasn't aiming at you" -
Lancer barely had time to process what happened before the building behind it dropped on top of him, as a result of Ritsuka destroying the supports.
"That's one, and that leaves..." -
Rider started to get up from the car and started to walk at Fujimaru, who prepared his sword to engage his enemy, but he wasn't able as a fireball dropped from the sky, creating a giant smoke screen in front of Rider.
"That attack..." -
"Sorry for interrupting, but Rider tried to kill me before, so I'm returning the favour, mind if I join you" -
A Servant landed right next to Fujimaru, but unlike the others, this one wasn't cloaked in shadows, nor did he seemed corrupt in any way.
"Sure, more help will make this easier" -
"Great. The name's Cu Chulainn, Caster, you?" -
"Ritsuka Fujimaru, Caster as well" -
"Interesting. Now, let's deal with Rider, shall we?" -
"Agreed, she's going down now" -
From behind the smoke screen, Rider emerged, jumping at the two with her weapon ready...
