With the final battle of the Singularity approaching, Ritsuka starts to have some doubts about if he has the chance to fight against the most powerful enemy in Fuyuki.

Rider was sent flying directly into a car before it exploded due to an attack from Cu.

The Rider tried to keep her ground against both of her enemies, yet things quickly took a turn for the worse as she was overpowered rather quickly by the two.

"For a Caster, you're quite the fighter Chulainn" - Ritsuka said as he stood besides him.

"Could say the same thing about you. At least you're more of a fighter than shadow girl over here" -

"Agreed, she barely even posed a threat" -

She slowly got up from the ground, laughing at the two.

"What is so funny?" -

"You think this is over...? Saber and Archer are waiting for you and... You don't stand a chance against them" - she said weekly.

"Unbeatable enemy? Sounds fun, always interesting to take those down. Don't worry, we'll take care of this Singularity soon enough" -

Rider said nothing, she simply lowered her head and started to dissolve, leaving the two Servants, Mash and Olga alone in the flaming city.

"Easier than expected, I guess team work makes the dream work" - Ritsuka joked to Cu.

"Good job Ritsuka! You too Cu!" - Mash yelled happily at seeing both Servants.

"That takes care of that, good job Ritsuka" - Cu said to his teammate as they both dissapeared their weapons.

Olga looked at this in shock, she never expected the girl who wandered away from the Command Center, someone who was merely recruited to fill out numbers, would be capable of handling the Demi Servant like that. A pleasant surprise.

"Well, girl... What was your name again?" -

"I'm Mash, Mash Kyrielight" -

"Alright Mash, I must congratulate you for saving me, it seems like you're a fine Master after all" -

"Thanks, but..." -

"However, while you proved that you can handle a Servant, I'm not so sure you'll be able to win against the one that keeps this Singularity standing" - Cu interrupted the talk of the two women.

"What do you mean by that?" - Ritsuka questioned him.

"Saber and Archer are guarding the gate to the Grail, and both of them are powerful on their own right. Be thankful we don't have to fight Berserker this time" -

"I'm sure we can take them on, especially with my ever reliable Senpai, isn't that right?" -

"Ah, ye-Yes! I can do it" -

"The optimism is appreciated, but just that won't do much against both of them" -

"I can protect her in case things go wrong, you forgot that?" -

"I didn't, but do you really think you'll be able to do so?" -

"Of course I can. If things go wrong, I'll simply summon my Noble Phantasm and protect us" -

"Speaking of that, I'd like to see your Noble Phantasm firsthand, care to summon it?" -

Ritsuka in that moment fell silent, not knowing what to say.

"I... Can't summon it" -

"What?" -

"I CAN'T SUMMON IT, OK!? I don't know the name of the Heroic Spirit inside me, I can only summon the weapon to fight" -

"You... Can't? Then how did you managed to get all the way here without one!?" - Olga yelled, loosing her cool for a second.

"Director, please! Even if he can't use it, he has protected me ever since we arrived here, that deserves some praise!" - Mash jumped to defend her Servant.

"I can get that, but a Servant without Noble Phantasm looses on a majority of its power, we're going to have to awaken his if we want a chance against Saber and Archer" -

"How do you suggest we do that if he doesn't even know the True Name of his Servant?" -

"I have an idea..." -

"When you said you had an idea to help me awake my Noble Phantasm, I never expected this!" -

Ritsuka tried to jump out of the way to dodge Cu's fireballs, but was unable and ended up getting hit directly.

"Dammit!" -

"Come on, get up! Do you want to protect that girl or not?" -

"Yes, I have to protect her! It's my duty as a Servant!" -

Clashing his dark sword with Cu's staff, he was able to stagger him a little bit, allowing Fujimaru to get a few hits in and push him back.

"Come on Ritsuka! I know you can do it!" - Mash yelled in support of her Servant while Olga Marie simply analized the two fighters.

"Is that the best you can do? And you intend to protect your Master like that?" - Cu asked Ritsula - "From a Caster to another, I'm dissapointed" -

"Don't get cocky pretty boy, I'm just getting started" -

With a good punch to the face, Ritsuka pushed back Cu while stopping fireballs with his sword, even returning one and making it hit his enemy.

"Impressive, but not enough, keep going!" -

"You're gonna regret making me go all out" -

"Then less talk, more fight!" -

While the two had their battle, Mash and Olga started a conversation of their own.

"Mash, about Ritsuka, what do you think of him?" -

"Director?" -

"I'm just curious. To me, he always seemed like a troublemaker, but you somehow managed to make him obey you. The only other person who he listens to is Romani" -

"Well, I... Don't exactly know, I guess we just work well together?" -

"Well, in any case I must admit, I sense something in you. If you can work with him, then there's something especial within you" -

"Wow, that's... Thank you for the compliment Director!" -

"Don't worry girl. Now, all we need is that your Servant wins the fight and luckily, unlocks his Noble Phantasm" -

Both returned to watching the fight, where Cu was slowly gaining terrain on the less experienced Ritsuka, making him nervous.
