This year we're doing crossovers for all seven days of Halloween, which means a couple of "repeats" for fandoms, but I think it will be a whole lot of fun. At the very least, I hope I can do something that I enjoy with each of these crossovers.

Day 1 (Oct. 25th)- Teen Titans and X-Men

Day 2 (Oct. 26th)- Ducktales and Big Hero 6

Day 3 (Oct. 27th)- The Good Place and Zoey's Extraordinary Playlist

Day 4 (Oct. 28th)- Teen Titans and The Owl House

Day 5 (Oct. 29th)- Gravity Falls and Lilo and Stitch

Day 6 (Oct. 30th)- Gravity Falls and The Owl House

Day 7 (Oct. 31st)- Gravity Falls and Over The Garden Wall

The Gravity Falls and The Owl House theory that Eda was Stanley's 24-hour wife becomes more and more plausible, but my favorite part about that theory is the possibility to give them a fankid and write dumb little stories like this one. It took me a while to hone Cary's character and background but I FINALLY figured it out I'm not going to explain anything but I hope to write more of her in the future and I hope you enjoy!

"Behold! The Mystery Shack's greatest treasure, the Bird Girl of Oregon! Hatched from an egg on Halloween, rumors say that she can peer into your soul and read your future." Stan Pines stood in front of a bored-looking teenage girl in a bird costume who kept glancing at the watch on her wrist.

"Can she read my future?" Would-be reporter Toby Determined asked.

"How much would you pay if I said yes?"

"$100!"

"Oh folks, you're in for a treat! For $100 the Bird Girl of Oregon will read your future!"

Stan leaned over to the red-haired girl, "Be as mean to them as you want, Cary, these bozos don't have a future."

"I get a cut, right?"

"Of course, sweetie, 40/60 like we discussed."

For the next thirty minutes, Caryn "Cary" Pines doled out sarcastic fortunes, growing more and more desperate to get out of the bird costume and the house. Her dad's story wasn't completely fabricated, she had hatched from an egg almost fourteen years ago, and some nights she did have visions that seemed awfully real and awfully terrifying, but she couldn't actually turn into the bird monster from her dreams and she couldn't actually read the palms of the bozos who stopped by the Shack.

"Can I steal Feathers away for her break?" Wendy Corduroy asked, leaning against the doorframe and looking cool. Cary's face turned bright red, always embarrassed about being seen in the bird costume by her friends and peers. Robbie Valentino always made fun of her for it.

"Who's running the cash register? That group from the bus is headed to the gift shop right now!"

"Soos has it covered," Wendy said, rolling her eyes.

"Yeah, sure. Go have your break, but if I have to bail one of you out it's coming out of your pay."

"Don't worry dad, we won't get caught!"

"Yeah, don't worry Mr. Pines. We never get caught."

"That's why you're my best employees," Stan said, nodding proudly before the girls ran off.

"Let me just change out of this stupid costume," Cary said, still beet red as Wendy watched her.

"I think you look cute in it," Wendy said, which only made Cary turn redder.

"I… I'll be right back." Cary dashed upstairs and when she came back she was in a Mystery Shack t-shirt and a leather jacket she stole from her dad. She zipped the jacket up so just the top of the question mark was poking out and then flashed Wendy a thumbs up.

"Alright, let's go. I call dibs on driving the golf cart," Wendy said.

"Alright, I call dibs on not taking the blame when you crash the golf cart."

Wendy burst out laughing.

"I'm not going to crash the golf cart!"

"I dunno, didn't you hear what my dad said? I can tell the future."

"Oh yeah, I forgot that everything in the Mystery Shack is real."

"I'm real, you're real."

"But that future stuff… I mean, no one knows what happens in the future. You'd have to be like, a time traveler, or a witch." Wendy climbed into the driver's seat of the golf cart and Cary climbed in next to her, close enough for their legs to touch.

"Maybe I'm a witch," Cary said with a shrug, thrown closer to Wendy when they went over a bump as the cart started up.

"Just because you were born or hatched or whatever on Halloween doesn't mean you're a witch. This isn't Hocus Pocus."

"Yeah, I know…"

"You okay, Feathers?"

"Yeah? Maybe? I don't know. I just have these dreams, and they feel real. Like they're omens of shit to come. Like there's something dark and bad deep down inside of me just waiting to come out. My whole existence is a mystery and I'm worried that the monster at the end of the monster hunt is me."

Wendy pulled the golf cart to a stop in a secluded section of the woods and studied her for a second.

"Cary… You read too much. There's no monster, there's no mystery, there's just you. My friend. My Cary. And I'd do anything to make you less afraid of yourself."

Cary attempted a smile, hugging herself, six fingers digging into her arm.

"I just wish I knew who I was. Who my mom was, why she disappeared."

Wendy fell into an uncomfortable silence and Cary realized that Wendy could relate to the missing mom mystery. She knew she had to switch lanes ASAP.

"You're right, it doesn't matter. I have a life here in Gravity Falls and that's all I need. Let's keep going."

Wendy started the cart again, remaining silent until she could think of a suitable change of subject.

"Are you excited about your birthday?"

"Mostly," Cary said, letting out a sigh of relief that she hadn't permanently brought down the mood. She didn't get to spend a lot of time with Wendy one-on-one and she didn't want to ruin it by being an angsty teen.

"Only mostly? Why?"

"Well- it's Halloween. It'll never be 100% about me."

"I thought you hated being the center of attention."

"I like attention! At least, I like it from certain people. I just wish that I could be like, selfish, and have people only care about that Monday because it's my birthday, instead of it being a major holiday."

"Well, I can't speak for everyone, but I'll be celebrating your birthday. Who cares about Halloween?"

"Everyone cares about Halloween!" Cary said with a guffawing laugh.

"Not me, not Monday. Not on my best friend's birthday."

"I'm your best friend?" Cary asked, stunned.

"Well, you and Tambry. I thought you knew that."

"Uh… No, I didn't know that."

"Oh, sorry. Yeah, you're my best friend if you want to be."

"I want to be," Cary said way too quickly.

Wendy laughed.

"Good. I like you, Feathers. I'd like you even if you were a witch."

Cary beamed but she couldn't help wondering who she really was, and whether or not the truth would change things.

Why yes, Cary does have a crush on Wendy lol.
