Jay had been missing going on 12 hours, Hank had Will and Emmy at the district until they knew who took Jay and why. Will had finally calmed his sister down and managed to get her to sleep. He sat on the couch in the lounge, his baby sister's head in his lap softly he ran his fingers through her hair.

Antonio had gone to see the oldest Halstead sibling, he had brought coffee for Will, juice for Emmy and food for them both. He set it on the table.

"Thought you like some coffee" The senior detective says softly, not wanting to wake the young girl.

"Thanks. Where are you with finding Jay? Any leads" Will replied back, fear filled his voice.

"Nothing yet"

"You've gotta find him Antonio"

"We will. Have you or Jay noticed anyone following you, hanging around, anything out of the ordinary?"

"No, even if I did I would tell him"

"Has Emmy ever said anything?"

"No" He was getting more and more frustrated.

"I know it's frustrating. We're doing everything we can"

"I think I may know who took him" Emmy's voice was soft.

The two men looked at the young Halstead surprised. Will looked at her nervously. Emmy stared at the floor, she felt anxious.

"Em, you don't have to be scared. This person won't hurt you but you've gotta tell us. Who has Jay?" Will asked her, softly.

She swallowed hard. "Dad"

Meanwhile

Jay was hanging by his wrists on metal chains, he was panting trying to catch his breath. His body was covered in blood, sweat, and dirt. He was sore, tired, and he wasn't his first time being tortured. He was trying to stay focused on staying alive. His brother needed him. His sister needed him.

Weakly he tried to pull himself up but he barely had the energy, he stopped hearing a noise. The door to the room opened and an older man came in, chuckling evilly.

"Having a nice time detective?"

"I'll get out of this," Jay spat.

"Is that any way to treat your father? Jay"

When Jay looked his eyes went wide. Pat Halstead had grinned evilly seeing his son as he walked more into the room.

"Surprised to see me son?"

"What do you want?" Jay seethed.

"My daughter"

"You'll never get Emmy. Not as long as Will and I are around. I'll kill you if you so much as look at her"

The older man casually walked over to his son and punched him hard. "Watch your mouth boy"

The young detective had spit out some blood and drool. "Screw you"

Pat held something in his hand, he put it as Jay's ribs and pressed the button tazing. Jay screamed in pain.

"I guess we'll do this the hard way"

While

Will had been completely shocked, his sister knew their father was back and never said anything? Now Jay was missing possibly as a result of it. Antonio looked at the youngest Halstead with a gentle smile.

"Em, how do you know it was your dad?" Antonio asked.

"I got a call one day from a blocked number, I thought it was a scam or something. It was my dad. He said he was sorry for everything he did. He wanted a chance to make amends and start over being my dad, that he changed. I told him I was happy with Will and Jay. He said I'd regret turning on him and if I ever told anyone, he'd..he'd make me watch as he kills Will and Jay" She had started crying.

Will brought his sister into his arms and soothed her the best way he could. Antonio left the lounge giving the siblings a moment. He closed the door as everyone looked at him.

"Anything?" Adam asked.

"Emmy says it was most likely their father who kidnapped Jay. This seems like a revenge thing for them taking custody of Emmy" Antonio replied.

Hank nodded from his door. "Everyone reach out to your CIs. Try to get any kind of information. Antonio when Emmy can see if she can tell you if she would know where he would keep Jay"

"Understood"

About five minutes later while the others worked Emmy came out holding her phone, her eyes wide. Erin went to her.

"Em, what's wrong sweetie?"

"My dad. He sent a text, he wants to trade for Jay. Me for him"

The female detective took her phone and read the message.

-Want your brother back? Come alone to Grant Park.

Standing at her full height Erin went to Hank's office, she passed the phone to him reading the message. Antonio, Erin and Will were in Hank's office with the door closed. Adam was with Emmy.

"Not a chance is seven hells" Will says. "Emmy's not going. My brother is already missing, I'm not risking Emmy's life. I'm not losing my brother and sister"

"Will's right, who knows what he could do to her" Antonio agreed with the older Halstead.

The door opened silently as the adults were talking, Emmy slipped in. "I wanna do it. I'll go meet my dad"

They all looked at the young girl and Will was the first to speak. "No. No absolutely not"

"WIll it could be our only chance at getting Jay back"

"Honey it's too dangerous. I'm not putting you in harms way"

"You and Jay would do it for me. Let me help get Jay back" She looked at Hank with a determined look. "What do I do?"
