Young Jordan Voight had been fresh out of rehab for a month now, she was now completely clean and sober. It was still hard controlling the urges, her body and mind constantly yelled and screamed at her. She had agreed to her father's terms once out of rehab. Teen AA, NA meetings for a few months and therapy. No more hiding or bottling up emotions. She had kept true to her word, when she got the urge she hit either a Teen AA or NA meeting and she attended therapy weekly with Dr. Charles at Med. Soon the teen felt as if things had been returning back to normal.

The pain of missing her brother was still there and still very fresh and raw. When she had come home from rehab she had spent the first few weeks in his room, when she slept in his bed it was as if his smell was there. She didn't dare change anything. She couldn't, she didn't have the heart. Neither did Hank. The teen had even kept his clothes some were big on her but she hadn't cared it made her feel close to her brother.

One thing the teen noticed since coming home from rehab, she was sick a lot. Certain smells made her stomach turn. She'd vomit every morning. And the biggest red flag, she had missed her period. She remembered having one before going to rehab but not since she came home. If she had to take a guess at what was wrong, her life would never be the same, not to mention her father going through the roof.

One afternoon while her father was at work she went to a store and grabbed pregnancy tests. She had taken about 3 boxes from the shelf and went to pay for them when the cashier saw he raised an eye and she shot a death glare. Her look could easily match her father's. After ringing them up the teen practically ran home and up to the upstairs bathroom.

There was no way in seven hells she could use the downstairs bathroom and risk her father finding the tests. Making sure she had drunk enough water she began to take the three tests. When she was finished she placed them on the counter and put a timer on her phone for five minutes. These had been the longest minutes of her life. To see if her life was about to drastically change.

Jordan had vaguely remembered the sexual encounter she had, she had blown up at her father after a fight and went to a party. She'd gotten high and drunk and met a guy, Kyle. The teen thought she had feelings for him but didn't. She had actually found out Kyle in fact had been Adam's informant when she cleaned up her act she couldn't help but feel as if she betrayed Adam. The two were inseparable, the best of friends and she slept with his informant. Adam had assured her that she didn't.

A dinging was going off breaking her out of her thoughts, her eyes just about snapped open. This was it. The moment of truth. Her life was about to change drastically taking her time, she stood up from the cold tile floor and looked at the three sticks on the counter. Her hand went to her mouth as she hid a gasp and her chocolate brown eyes went wide. Each stick had a blue plus sign which could only mean one thing.

Jordan was pregnant. Pregnant at 14. How was she going to manage taking care of a baby at 14 when she was barely able to take care of herself? She was just out of rehab and trying to pull herself together. Her mind swirled trying to wrap her head around it. Slowly looking at her now flat covered stomach she couldn't help but think of the growing baby in her. Her eyes stayed wide. Her father was going to go insane and possibly kill Kyle. Hell he may snap at her who the hell knows.

She had to hide this from her father as long as possible, grabbing the three sticks she wrapped them in toilet tissue and threw them away and then grabbed the half empty bag from the bin and left. She thought it was a mistake and the tests were a false reading. She knew where she could get an accurate result.

The teen left her house after locking up. She got as far away from her house before dropping the bag of trash off in a dumpster. Jordan had felt numb, her mind still trying to wrap around the fact she was pregnant. An innocent life she was now responsible for. One that was growing in her stomach. Now she had to replan and recreate her entire future.

She walked and walked until she got to Med she walked into the ED straight and her eyes scanned over looking for someone specific. Someone who wouldn't tell her father she found Will and walked over to him.

"Hey Will, do you have a moment?" Jordan asked.

"Yeah" He finished with his current chart and closed it. "What's up?"

"Can we go someplace more private? I don't want this to get out"

He frowned. "Jo, are you alright? Did you.."

"No. No. Not anything like that. Just please can we go someplace private and talk?"

He took her to the doctor's lounge and made sure she covered her stomach with her arms, Will could definitely tell something was bothering the teen.

"Sweetheart, what is it? Whatever it is you can tell me"

"You can't tell my dad. Please. Whatever you do it can't go beyond us"

"Jo, you know I can't promise that especially given what happened. And I especially can't if I think you're harming yourself again"

"It's not anything like that I swear" She took a deep breath. "I'm scared Will"

"You don't have to be scared. You know you can trust me"

"I screwed up big time and now my dad's gonna go through the roof"

"What do you think you did?"

"I don't think I did anything, I did do something"

"What did you do?"

"Back when I had problems, I went off on my dad and I left the house. I was drunk and high, I went to a party. I met a guy we...we had sex" She shuffled feeling nervous, talking about her sex life to someone she considered a brother. "Since I got out of rehab I've been feeling sick, I can't stand smells. And I..I missed a period"

Will was processing and clicking everything together when he saw her arms lower down to her stomach more he had a sad expression.

"Jo are you…"

"According to three home pregnancy tests, they all had plus signs"

"You don't believe it?"

"I don't know how accurate those tests are so I was kinda hoping maybe, you could do some blood work, urine sample. To see if it's actually true"

"Jordan, if I run those tests it'll trigger your father's insurance. Which means he will find out"

"Run them off book. Will please, my dad can't find out. I screwed up enough, this would top off everything I screwed up. I've disappointed him enough"

"Honey, you're a kid. You made a mistake" He sighed. "Jordan, maybe you should call your father. This isn't something you need to be going through alone you're gonna need him"

"Can I ask you something?"

"Anything"

"Are you insane? I can't tell my dad, he'll flip out. Especially when I tell him who the father is"

That caused the red head to raise an eyebrow. "And who's the father?"

"It may or may not be one of Adam's informants"

"Jordan"

"What? I was drunk and high, so was he. I didn't even know until the next night when he squealed on me. I screwed up I know it I just don't know what to do, I don't know how to fix this"

"You can't do this alone sweetheart, you need someone to help you. You need your dad. You won't be able to do this alone, not something this big" He paused to gather his thoughts. "I'll run your samples off book so he won't find out but you have to be the one to tell him"

She nodded, holding her head down as tears burned in her eyes and a sob escaped. "I screwed up again"

Will had gone over to hug her, Jordan loosely wrapped her arms around his waist. She hated showing her vulnerable side, she considered it being weak and powerless. Everything in her wanted her to scream for her father but she couldn't, her body filled with fear the whole time. Fear and anxiety took over her body.

"You made a mistake you didn't mean for this to happen. But if you are pregnant honey, you can't stress yourself out it's not good for you or the baby"

"I'm so scared Will, I never meant for this to happen"

"I know and everything will be ok. I promise. Come on, I'll take you to a room and draw some blood then you'll do a small urine sample"

The teen nodded into his shoulder feeling numb. That was all she felt. At first it was what she wanted to feel. Now she didn't. The whole time she followed Will and everything around her was a blur, she went through the motions of following him and sitting on the bed. She felt him roll her sleeve up, the entire time she had a blank emotionless look on her face as if she was rearranging all her life and future plans now.

She wanted to graduate high school, go to the Police Academy, and be a cop just like her father. Now how was she going to fit a baby into that equation? She was now back to barely taking care of herself. How was she gonna take care of a baby?

Feeling something cool and wet touch her skin she slightly glanced to see Will wiping a small area with an alcohol wipe she watched as he very gently slid the thin metal needle into her soft flesh normally with her recent drug problem it would freak her out now she was out of it she didn't care. She watched as Will filled the small tube with her dark red blood.

Soon he had finished and covered the small wound with a small cotton swab and put a bandaid on it. He then handed her a small plastic cup. She took it to the bathroom and did what she had to do. The look on her face was still blank and emotionless as she was still trying to process everything. Once she filled the small cup with her urine she put the cap on and went to the counter and leaned on it taking deep breaths, she gripped it tightly as she looked in the mirror.

She felt the need to scream, scream as loudly as she could till her throat went raw. Suddenly she just let out a scream, a very loud scream, her hands went to her head and her fingers through her hair. Leaning up against the wall she screamed as loudly as she could, letting out a sob. Times like this made her want her mom more than anything. Slowly she fell to the floor and cried, reaching into her pocket she pulled her phone out and went through till she found a name she then dialed it and put the phone to her ear sniffing wiping away tears she heard someone answer.

"I need you" Her voice was now raspy and cracking. "Can you bring Aunt Trudy and Adam with you to Med? Please"

After that she hung up and dialed another number and put it to her ear. Someone answered. "We need to meet. It's important. Meet me at Med"

After both calls had been made getting up from the floor she brushed herself off and grabbed the small container of the dark golden yellow urine and took it back out to Will. He saw the dried tears on her face.

"You alright kiddo?" His voice is gentle.

"Ask me after the results come back. I'm going to get some air I called someone to be with me"

"I'll send your samples to the lab and come get you when I have them, I'll have them rushed"

"Thank you Will"

"Sweetheart, you should really call your father and have him be here with you for this. You can't carry this alone"

"I can't and you can't tell him. I've disappointed him enough" She held her head down as fresh tears came to her eyes. "What if I hurt this baby? I didn't know. What if it's born drug addicted or-" She rambled and Will cut her off.

"Hey, hey. Jo. We don't know anything yet. The what ifs will drive you insane. Go get some air, calm down and relax. You can't be stressing out"

She nodded and went outside and sat on the bench, her mind still going a thousand miles an hour. Within a few minutes Erin, Trudy and Alvin showed when Erin had sat beside her sister she carefully touched her shoulder and Jordan had just about jumped off the bench and out of her skin.

"Woah, easy sweetheart, it's just us," Erin told her.

"Sorry I'm just a bit jumpy" The teen replied.

"What's going on sweetheart?" Trudy asked her goddaughter.

"I screwed up majorly and now dad is gonna go through the roof"

"What did you do honey?"

Adam felt his heart racing with fear, why had Jordan called him? Why had he been needed for this? Jordan had lowered her arms to her stomach, hiding and shielding her flat stomach. Erin and Trudy took the hint.

"Jordy are you.." Erin started but trailed off.

"According to three home pregnancy tests, yes. I'm having Will do a more accurate test" She glanced at Adam. "I'm sorry Adam"

The male detective bent down to her level with a soft look. "You have nothing to be sorry for, you didn't do anything"

"I might as well have. I betrayed you"

"Jo, you never betrayed me"

"Yes I did. Especially when I tell you who the father is"

"Who?"

"Jordan?" Came a voice, it belonged to Kyle.

The teen looked up and saw Kyle then glanced back at Adam. Adam caught her eyes very slightly glancing at Kyle. It hadn't taken him long to put it together who she had been referring to. He spun around and went at his informant.

"You son of a bitch!" Adam went and grabbed Kyle. "I oughta kick your ass!"

"Adam! Stop it enough" Trudy told him sharply.

"But Sarge"

"Enough. Now let him go. This is something he and Jordan needs to talk about"

He let go of his informant as Kyle slowly walked over to the teen who was shaking, a part from her nerves and the other from Adam's anger. The young informant looked at the teen.

"Jordan, what's wrong?" His voice held worry and concern.

"We should go talk" Her voice was still raspy and cracking. "I don't want Adam to kill you"

The two walked away from the group of adults, Adam breathing heavily trying to calm down. Erin and Trudy looked at him.

"What?" He asked.

"Have you lost it? Jordan's scared enough with what's going on. Your anger isn't going to help her if anything it will scare her more" Trudy said.

"But Sarge"

"But nothing"

"Adam, we understand why she called you. She feels responsible for this. She feels she betrayed you by sleeping with your informant and now possibly carrying his child. And you can get through to Kyle as a guy. He's going to be scared too. He slept with a minor while they were intoxicated. She already feels guilty for all this. Don't add more to it" Erin went on gently.

The three then looked at the two people talking, Jordan kept her arms surrounding her stomach as if she was shielding and hiding it from everyone and everything. Kyle had seen how odd and strange she'd been acting.

"What's going on?" He was now dead worried.

"This is going to be a dumb question but do you remember the night we...ya know. Slept together"

"Very vaguely"

"Well we're both going to have a reminder of that night. I'm pregnant"

"You...You're...what?"

"You're not deaf you heard me. Pregnant. As in your kid in growing inside me"

"Wha...How did this happen?"

She gave him a deadpan look. "See what happens is when a man and a woman really like each other they do this thing called have sex. We were intoxicated and had sex thus resulting in a baby. Did you not get the sex talk?"

"I'm a dead man walking"

"You're not the only one. I shouldn't have let it get that far"

"I'm the adult I shouldn't have let it get that far"

"I was the one to lie about my age so you had no way of knowing. I don't know what the hell to do"

"We figure it out and work it out together. We don't have to be in a relationship. We can be parents to this baby"

"I don't know anything about being a mother. I'm 14. I don't know much about taking care of a baby. I'm lucky if I can change a diaper properly. Not to mention I don't have a job or insurance or anything"

"You're thinking to far ahead"

"No Kyle I'm not. We are now responsible for bringing a living breathing human child onto this earth and we have to find a way to support it and take care of it while taking care of ourselves. I'm a freshman in high school, I'd like to graduate and go to the police academy. We both need to pull our own lives together before even considering bringing a baby into the world"

"What are you suggesting?"

"Adoption"

"Jo, we can do this and raise this baby. Be the parents this baby deserves"

"Are you insane? I'm in high school, I don't have a job or insurance or anything to raise a baby. You're an informant for my dad's unit. You have a dangerous life. I don't wanna have an abortion I can't kill an innocent life. I don't believe in killing a baby. This baby didn't ask to be conceived. This baby deserves to have two responsible adults who can love it, take care of it, give it everything we can't. We're still pretty much kids ourselves, I am a kid"

"I'll clean up my act, if you can do it I can too. No more drugs, no more booze. I'll go on a straight path. But we can do this. This baby deserves to know us as its parents. You as its mother, me as its father. You won't be alone in this, I'm not going anywhere. You still have your father, Adam, that whole team. You have a family to help you. You'll still be able to do all the things you'd normally do just with a baby"

"How are we gonna support that baby? Neither of us have jobs, insurance, child care, any of that. How are we going to take care of it? Who's gonna take care of it while I'm at school and my dad works? Who's gonna take care of it if you're busy?"

"Jordan relax, please. I'll get a legit job. I told you I'm not going anywhere, I'm in this with you I'm not gonna be one of those deadbeat fathers who runs away, I'm going to step up to the plate"

"I don't know. I have to think about it" She held her head down and her hand covered her mouth as a sob came. "I'm so scared"

"It's ok to be scared, I am. I just rather not show how scared so you don't panic more"

Her phone buzzed and it had been Will he got the results back from Jordan's tests. They all went back in, the red head Halstead saw the group and looked at the teen.

"They know Will, I told them. This is Kyle..the father" Jordan spoke, her voice cracking a bit.

Will saw the young guy and instead of saying anything to rile the situation up more he shook his hand slightly gripping it. Jordan shot him a raised eye and he let go of his hand. Will had led them to a small conference room and closed the door.

Jordan and Kyle felt their hearts racing in their chests, Jordan felt she knew what Will was going to say and it was gonna confirm everything she feared. Like her father, she wasn't one to beat around the bush, just rip the band aid off.

"Say it Will"

"After running your tests twice, they did confirm that you're indeed pregnant"

Jordan closed her eyes attempting to let it sink in, she had been pregnant at 14. She didn't know how this was going to play out but she did know. Her life was drastically going to change.

Author's note: This does not follow the old pregnancy storyline I previously wrote. This will be its own story. I will try to update the others when I can on my next small vacation.
