Chapter 2 New Beginning

Tohru's POV

"Tohru", I heard someone say as they poked my cheek. "Tohru. Wake up Tohru."

With that, I slowly opened my eyes…and saw that I had fallen asleep on Kyo's shoulder.

This resulted in me quickly pulling my head back in embarrassment.

"Sorry", I apologised. "I'm sorry!"

"You don't need to be all embarrassed about it", Kyo stated. "Anyway, I woke you up because we're nearly there."

"Really", I asked.

Then, I turned around to look out the window…and was met with the beautiful sight of the Japanese countryside.

"Wow", I said. "It's beautiful! Isn't it Kyo?"

After I asked this, I turned around to look at Kyo, who smiled.

"Yeah", he replied. "It is."

…

Kyo and I had made it off the train and were now at the train station.

"Alright", I started as I held up a piece of paper. "According to Master's directions, we need to go that way!"

With that, I pointed in the direction that I thought that we needed to go.

After I did, Kyo looked at the piece of paper and turned it around.

"That way", I said as I quickly pointed in the opposite direction as I was earlier.

"You're hopeless", Kyo stated before grabbing onto my hand. "Come on."

Kyo and I were walking hand in hand as we looked for the dojo.

As we did, I admired the Japanese countywide from up close.

"Wow", I said. "It really is beautiful here, huh Kyo?"

"It is", Kyo replied as he smiled.

And then, we walked until we found the dojo.

When we got there, we saw a woman sweeping.

She looked up, and gave us a warm smile when she saw us.

"Hello there", she greeted. "How can I help you?"

"Um…", Kyo started nervously. "My name is Kyo Sohma."

"Oh", the woman started in realisation. "You're the boy Master Kazuma sent over. You must be looking for Master Kenji? Please come with me."

With that, we followed the woman into the dojo.

She led us to one of the training areas, and when we got there, we saw a group of students training with their master.

I turned to look at Kyo, who was watching what was happening in awe.

This made me smile. Kyo truly had a passion for martial arts.

When the training was done, the master greeted his students goodbye before noticing us.

"Master Kenji", the woman who escorted us started. "This is Kyo Sohma."

"Oh", the Master (who was named Kenji) said happily. "So you're Kazuma's boy? It's nice to finally meet you. My name is Master Kenji Suzuki."

After Master Kenji said this, he turned to look at me.

"Who is this lovey lady", he asked.

"My name is Tohru Honda", I replied. "It's an honour to meet you master."

"Ah", Master Kenji started. "So you're Kyo's girlfriend that Kazuma told me about?"

Hearing this made Kyo and I blush.

"Well then", Master Kenji started. "Shall I show you around?"
