Chapter 9 Machi

Machi's POV

I was in a clothing store, when I heard a familiar voice call out my name.

I turned around, and saw Kimi.

"Kimi", I said happily as she walked up to me.

"Why hello there Machi", Kimi greeted. "Fancy running into you here."

"What are you doing here", I asked

"Same as you it appears", Kimi replied. "Buying clothes. Speaking of which, are these clothes for you to wear when you go and visit a certain special someone?"

I didn't answer. My blushing face did that for me.

"Well then", Kimi started. "Let me help you."

"Help me", I asked. "Why?"

"Machi", Kimi started. "You are new to the whole dating scene. I doubt that you'll have any idea how to dress to impress a guy."

"That's…", I started. "…true."

"Well then", Kimi started. "What are we waiting for? Let's get you some outfits to impress your guy!"

I was in my last class of my first school week, impatiently waiting for it to get done.

"Students", my teacher started. "As some of you may know, last year our previous student council president, Yuki Sohma, graduated. Not only that, but many other members of the student council graduated as well. Because of this, a new student body president has to be elected. If any of you are interested, please come up here and sign your name."

With that, I got up and signed my name.

"Machi", I heard somebody say in shock.

Then, I turned around, and saw Naohito, who was in the same class as me this year.

"You're running for student body president", he asked in shock.

"Yes", I replied.

"I see", Naohito said. "Well, just to let you know, I'm running for student body president too."

"Well then", I started. "May the best candidate win."

"No need to humour him princess", I heard someone say.

"Oh no", I said in dismay.

Then, I looked over my shoulder, and saw all the members of Yuki's (and apparently now mine as well) fan club who were in the same class as me.

"Obviously you will win princess", one of the members stated. "It's a no brainier!"

"Princess", Naohito asked in confusion. "When did that happen?"

"It's a long story", I replied.

Then, I heard the bell ring. The school day was finally over.

"Gotta go", I replied.

Then, I rushed out of school…and to the train station. I didn't even bother to change out of my uniform and into one of the new outfits Kimi had gotten me. I was too excited.

A couple of hours later…I found myself outside of an apartment.

After double checking that I had the right address…I took a deep breath, and knocked on the door.

However, I didn't get answer.

After I took another deep breath…I took out the key I was given, opened the door, and walked into the apartment.

He wasn't there, but it was definitely his. It was extremely messy, and I spotted some planters on the balcony outside.

I decided to make myself useful and attempt to clean up while I waited for him, but before I could, I heard a knock at the door.

I opened it, and was surprised at who I saw.
