HIDING PLACE FROM HELL

CHAPTER 25

DAY 9

Brains. Beauty. Booty.

"Do you have a tux hidden in that huge luggage?"

"Tux?" John turned, finger poised to punch the Enter tab on his laptop. "No, why?"

"I need an eye candy…" Aize took the hand hovering on the laptop and put it on her waist. Always on the lookout for some reason to have her in his arms John pushed back his chair so she could straddle him.

"Uh, ma'am, how'd you get past security?" He breathed in deep that scent he loved so much about her. "Call security!" he yelled out, grinning.

"I got news for you." Aize winks at him, kissing his forehead, "I'm security."

"Fuck!" he gasped in mock surprise and grinned wider as he starts unbuttoning her front. "Uh, what's the tux for?" he looks up, voice muffled from between her breasts. "Are we gonna have cosplay?"

"No. You're my plus one for a charity event," she runs her fingers to his hair. "But I'll be working. The agency got hired."

"Is it safe?" Dresses. Wonderful piece of clothing. John creeps under the voluminous hem of Aize's tie-dye dress, running his hands up on her thighs. "Nice…" he murmurs with a smile as his hand found what he was looking for.

"As long as we follow proper procedures, we'll be okay." Aize groans. "John, we can't."

"We can't?" Glancing around, he found a spot on the dining table kind of free of his notes. He'll position Aize on there, her legs over his shoulders as he devours her between… "Uh…" He frowns while Aize measures the width of his shoulders with her forefinger and thumb while below his fore and middle fingers were busy as well. "What are you doing?"

"Hmm…." She gasps, closing her eyes, "it would be a little loose on you, but just a little."

"Me in you? Never…" he whispers.

"The tux!" John unbuttons the dress further but she stops him.

"Whose tux?"

"Paolo's. That's why we can't." She pulled his fingers out from inside her. "We'll drop by their pad."

"Drop by….you mean," John's disappointment was just momentary then he feels excited. "We're going out?"

"Yes." She got off of him. "So you need to change, baby. Wear your leather jacket and boots. Bring your ID too. You never know about checkpoints. Meet me here in thirty minutes."

John quickly licks his fingers before hitting the 'enter' button then shut down the machine.

They're going out!

John had to whistle again. Shirt, jeans, boots, and jacket. All black. "You look like a ninja." He said as he nuzzles her neck.

"You're not bad yourself." Arms around his waist, Aize checks out John's black jacket, gray shirt and charcoal gray jeans. It's hard not to get turned on by John's hands and lips. It's next to impossible. "Oh shit. Come on. Let's go." The effing man knows the buttons to push. He is THE goddamn button. From one of the side tables she got some keys and of course John is there as if he's glued to her behind. "Do you know how to drive a motorbike?"

"I've done it." He gave her a kiss, maneuvering her against the wall grinding his hips with hers letting her know what she's missing today.

"Good." To further stop him from having more amorous plans and executes it somewhere new in the house Aize had to grab his hand and tug him towards the patio.

John and Aize got out to the patio then she locks the metal gate. After securing the house John looked around the garden and couldn't believe that he had not taken the time to appreciate where he is at because he had been engrossed in writing his play. Yeah, right, he thought. Well, the truth is that he and Aize have been keeping busy 'exploring' each other everywhere and anywhere they happen to be throughout the house. Suddenly, John felt hot in his jacket. Fuck John!

Aize stops at a gate with high white walls at the far end of the garden. "Give me your finger." She pointed at the biometric lock. "In case you need access. Place your forefinger over here…" she said as she scrolls on the small screen and adjusts the settings for the lock. "Do it again." She said after the first beep. "One more." She pushed a few more settings. "Try it again then when it beeps push the 'open' button."

John lays his finger on the green glowing plate. And after the beep he clicks the 'open' button. "Awesome!" When they stepped through the gate John was surprised to see some men moving around in the big compound. "Where are we?"

Aize points to a two story building to their far right. "That's the barracks for our guards here at the village. Ben's office is over there, that last door. It's his day off." Aize points to the six-car garage. "Our ride is there."

"Good morning, boss!" The men quickly approach when they saw Aize and one or two of them run in the barracks calling the guards to come out.

"Hi guys." Aize talks to them in local. It sounds like she's inquiring about how they are. Aize points out the name of the men, who were some of the guards in the village. "Guys, this is John…."

John didn't see the guard who was on duty when he arrived almost two weeks ago. My god, John suddenly thought. Two weeks ago!

"…my husband." she looks back him. Well, that title has stuck and John is happy with it.

"Hi guys." John smiles at the various reactions he got from the men; some are polite, some sad, some full of curiosity. "Nice to meet you." No matter what they feel about John being there in their boss's life all of them greeted him politely back.

John stands closely behind Aize, feeling a little edgy at seeing Aize almost surrounded by these men although they follow the social distancing rule and the masks. Ben's cryptic words about Aize notwithstanding he doesn't like….

"Aize….!" A man calls her name, someone wearing a military uniform, a hand raised in greeting.

"Shit…" Aize bumped lightly at John when she stepped back.

"Hey, why…." John grabbed her by the waist to steady her. "Something wrong?"

"Hey, Aize. Long time, no see." Greets the other man. He wears casual clothes. At first glance he looks like a foreigner with his light brown hair, light brown eyes and fair skin until he begins speaking.

"Why are you here?"

The man raised a brow that Aize talked to him in English but he answered in local. Although John could only understand about twenty percent of the conversation Aize's tension is all about the man in the casual clothes. She feels like she's braced for something but showing a cool and composed exterior. The man keeps looking at him and his hands on Aize's waist.

Aize turns to John when the flow of the conversation ebbs. "John, this is Bert. He's like a brother to me. He's Ben's son." She smiles at the slim military man with dark crew cut hair.

"Yeah, Ben mentioned you." John nodded back with a smile. "Nice to finally meet you."

"I'm Liam, by the way." The other man lifts his hand in introduction.

"John." John nodded back and looks down at Aize for further information.

"Liam and I used to…."

"We used to go out together…in university, right Aize?" he tilts his head.

"That was a long time ago."

The man grinned at Aize. "Yeah, a long time ago. You look good."

"Hey, nice to meet you, man." Bert said to John and cleared his throat to lessen the suddenly tense air. "What do you need, boss?"

"Stop calling me that.' Aize seemed to have gotten herself more composed because of Bert. "I need the…wait. John, do you have an international driver's license?"

John nodded and patted his jacket front. "All here. Why?"

"You'll see." Aize hands John a key and goes to garage.

As they walk over to the parked vehicles John looks back at the group. They're checking out the boss. Their own boss. Unbelievable. Sure enough most of them look guilty. Even the 'brother' and the ex. He could only shake his head but he understands. But he also got a dose of their scrutiny; looking at him up and down, sizing him up.

John looks down at the logo on the key chain. "No way…" He points at the bike. "This one?"

"Yep."

John lifts and removes the cover. "Oh shit!" Admiring the lines of the machine he runs his hands on the curved seat and handlebars. He looks back at Aize. There's that haunted look in her eyes that he's familiar with already. "It's Ross's?"

Aize took a deep breath. "Yeah." Aize kicked off the stand and maneuvers the big bike towards the exit gate declining the eager help of John and the milling men. "My brother and I used to take long drives. This bike is one of the last good memories I had of him…" she laid her hand on the seat after she kicked down the stand. "We have two stops today; first we have to pick up another vehicle…."

John mounted the bike to test it and whistled. "Another vehicle?"

"Yeah, it's actually Ross' car but instead of selling it I converted it into company service. I had it bullet-proofed."

"Bullet….shit!" John laughed with the guards. They seemed to be amused at his expletive.

"So we'll use that car, leave this at the motor pool to get it cleaned, get your tux and get this back and you drive the car back."

"But when do I drive this baby?" John gave the bike a look full of longing.

"I'll think about it if you behave." She went back to the garage.

When she got back one of the helmets has the same anime character as in her phone. "Hey! I see him again!" John took the helmet from her and looks at the design on the side. He taps the helmet, eyes narrowed, "Is he my rival?"

Aize grins at his mock jealousy. "Not anymore."

"Good." He glares at her as he hands the helmet back. "I'm not sharing." John purposely said the words a little loud.

"I'm driving. You need to carry this for me." She hands him a backpack. John dismounts to secure the bag behind him and so that Aize could get on the big bike. From her pocket she puts on her riding gloves.

"You look so hot there…I could…hm!" John suddenly went wide-eyed as he remembers where they are. "Fuck!" he and Aize started laughing.

"Bert, please look after the house. We'll be back tomorrow." Said Aize to Bert.

Bert nods. "It's in good hands. Take care!"

"Whoa! Aize, should I bring my laptop with me? I didn't know we'll be gone overnight." He said as John adjusts the straps of the backpack on his shoulders. Aize grabs his jacket front.

"You don't need it. You won't have the time." She whispers to his ears a little loudly. Aize clips the strap under her chin and brought the bike to life. The roar was amazing. The guards clap and whistle in approval.

John hurriedly puts on his own helmet. "See you guys. Better not make the lady wait." He waves as he mounts behind her on the machine and laid his hands on her hips.

Aize revs the bike as the gate slowly opens. "Hold tight, John!" She yells as she puts his hands around her waist, making him lean low like her.

The gaggling men slowly dispersed back to their chess game and weapon cleaning and whatever they were doing after Aize and John roared out of the compound still talking about their lady boss and her new husband. Bert and Liam were left where they stood after the bike turned the corner of the block and was gone from their view. Then the sound of the powerful bike faded in the distance.

"Huh." Liam lowered his hands from his hips, a smirk on his face,

"Damn." Was all that Bert could say: he's still focused on the street.

"Yeah. You lied, man." Liam closely follow the soldier back in Ben's office.

"Hey, I don't know Aize's every move. Am I a stalker?" Bert sighed as he sit on Ben's swivel chair.

"No, you're a pretender."

"I don't know what you're talking about." Bert taps at the file on the glass top, smirking. "You really wanna do this?"

"I'm qualified."

Bert huffed. "In your dreams. She won't hire you."

"You decide who gets hired now?"

"I can see through you, man. She's married now."

"Yeah, I know. Never stopped me before."

"Yeah, right. Look how she left. She's not interested."

"In you or me?"

"Fuck you. She's not like that. Again, she's married."

"He's something. I give you that. Fuck. Who is he?"

"He's John Peters, dad says."

"Do you know what he does?"

"What am I? Information center?"

"She found her Adonis, huh?"

"She deserves it. She's been alone for a long time. But I'm not the one still holding a torch for her."

"You're such a hypocrite, Bert."

"Shut up, mother fucker!"

"You got no balls to tell her, huh?"

"Is this why she broke up with you? For being an asshole?"

Liam clicked his fingers. "Wedding ring."

"What?"

"I don't see any wedding rings."

"So?"

"Who gets married and not have a wedding ring?"

"What are you saying?"

"Exactly."
