This was originally a one shot prompt for just the Toy Story-verse. I asked if it can be both here as well. I wanted to do one chapter per 'verse, but then this happened. And it fit too well, I HAD to add it as a new chapter even though I put "Complete" on it! *Headdesk*
Either way, new chapter! More Plot! Yay!
Also, Sora from KH3 gets a bigger role than a cameo as his toy-self visiting their world in KH3. It just happened! Eh *shrugs* I'm keeping it. Enjoy!
Prompt: By JBlaser

Buzz Lightyear: Uh, ma - ma'am? I, uh, um, well, I just wanted to say you're a bright young woman with a beautiful yarn full of hair. A hair full of yarn. It's ah... um... I must go.
Jessie: [brings him back] Well aren't you just the sweetest space toy I ever did meet!
Emily leaned against the door as Molly said goodbye to her friend. In the girls' arm was a Jesse Doll.
Atop Emily's head was the cowgirl hat left behind by that woman at the grocery store with Molly wearing Andy's cowboy hat.
The rest of the afternoon found Emily slowly remembering her own cowgirl phase, bringing a smile to her face.
But the question remained: Who was that woman? And why did she run away from her? She should probably return the hat, though at least.

Buzz was panicking as Mira glared at him from where she stood at Slinks, getting ready to interrogate him.
And today started off great! Flying the ship with Woody completely at ease at the controls. The banter, the ease at which they worked together.
And the whole, y'know, ANDY playing with them instead of controlling them! It was so surreal! That whole event! And then after, going to Slinks Bar and Motel to meet the officers left at the station after their shifts. He groaned good naturedly as he noticed Nebula and Slink get along like a house on fire, swapping stories about him and Woody.
He and Woody shared a glance of shared misery. (Both Hamm and the Potatoheads were not helping. At. All.)
He was startled to see Mira, XR and Booster already there.
But he grew concerned as he noticed Mira holding a vaguely familiar action figure as if it held all the answers of the Universe.
Then Booster noticed him. "Buzz! Over here!" The gentle giant excitedly waved him closer.
"Hey Buzz, did you notice the toys in this place?" XR started with a grin. He held up a Buzz action figure. "They have you here, but what about us?! I say, there's no accounting for taste!" XR huffed playfully as Buzz rolled his eyes.
And then, chaos happened.
Buzz heard Andy and Woody behind him at the bar, Mira looked started as if just noticing them.
Then she looked calculating before shifting her highly suspicious gaze to Buzz.
"Buzz? Can I talk to you in private for a sec?"
Oh oh…
She stood up, but turned back to snatch the Buzz toy and the one she was holding earlier before leading him off to the side where a section was blocked off.
"That section is booked for later this evening." Slink hollered from the bar. "Please go somewhere else!"
The two nodded in acknowledgement before walking farther away.
Finally stopping, she turned to him in a huff, to glare at him.
"Mira?" He tried haltingly.
Her gaze was steady. Reading him. Eventually she held up his toy.
While keeping his gaze, she maneuvered the toy until she flicked its leg up to see the underside of the foot.
'ANDY'
"The other day at the diner, you surprised me with that story about that boy over there. Andy? Don't get me wrong, I'm happy you had friends outside of Starfleet! But that's not what bothers me."
"Mira-" She held up a free hand to silence him.
"So, here I am, trying to find a nonexistent report that isn't even in a confidential file. Because there was no report. You, Mr. By-The-Book who did everything by the book. Even a secret mission has a paper trail. But nope! I got nothin'. So I looked into Andy himself. There was no record of you living anywhere near him at that time, for you were already at the academy at that time."
He started to sweat.
"Then, I go to your office to drop off your reports like usual when you left your research wide open on your computer. You were doing your own research on completely random people! But I remembered you mentioned that toy of you. Then I found that photo of the three of you at the festival with you and the sheriff over there holding toys that resembled both of you!" She was building steam now, but still kept her voice down.
"Going over your own research, each of the people you looked up had their own toys. And then I see their photos are all over the wall there!" She pointed to the bar.
Startled, he looked over himself to see the walls around the bar surrounded by framed photos of candid shots. He silently vowed to see them himself before refocusing on Mira.
"I kept digging but nothing about any of them made sense! It's as if one day, completely at random, they all woke up and behave completely differently! Like whole other people!"
She gripped the toys before stopping to face him. "Buzz. Just… please. What is going on? And I want the truth this time."
Silence.
He simply stared at his oldest friend. A friend who was never a toy, but a friend all the same. He's known her since he woke up here. He's known Woody since he woke up there.
Looking down, he felt resigned when he finally remembered why the other toy was so familiar.
It was Sora with his strange sword.
He felt as if the final piece of the puzzle slid into place.
'-and why Buzz's laser started lasering!' He can hear Rex's voice as they tried to make sense of the Heartless intruders. All that talk of parallel worlds and Heart connections.
Silently he reached out for the Sora toy. Confused, she gave it to him.
"C'mon, grab the others and meet me at my house tomorrow after lunch. You want answers? I'll gladly tell you the story. But, I'm going to need help to tell it."
"The truth?"
"The truth." He agreed.
"Okay. We'll leave you for now, but I expect a full debrief, mister!" She playfully shoved him.
"Of course, Mira." He gave a small smile as she walked away to XR and Booster.
Buzz sighed as he looked around at all the toys, both friend and foe.
Eventually, his gaze landed on Andy and Woody at the bar. Too far away to hear, it sounded like Andy was excitedly recounting what happened to the officers left out.
Woody seemed to sense his gaze, for her turned and caught his eye.

A few hours after the boys had their playdate.
Mother of Abraham! Woody could call it whatever he wanted, but let's face it. It was a date.
Shaking her head, Jesse strolled through her ship towards her closet and went to change. This happened at least once a month or so since they all woke up here.
She pulled out her best leathers, her purposely tailor-made country blouse in yellow, boots that screamed 'don't mess with me', and put her hair in a braid. Once satisfied, Jesse made her way down below to where she parked her bike. 'Ol Bullseye. Their trusty steed modernized to fit their new lives.
Reaching out for her hat that wasn't there, Jesse sighed as she remembered her old owner now in possession of it.
Jesse sat in silence before growling and starting the bike and lowering the ramp.
In echo of 'ol Bullseye rearing back before the charge, her bike reared back with a roar before speeding out. The ramp closing behind her.
Jesse made her way to Slinks Bar and Motel . They already rented out the evening.
She really needed this.
She wanted nothing more than to get Emily out of her mind!
Eventually, Jesse parked her bike and let it settle with a sigh. With a small smile, she petted the bike as if the former horse could feel it too.
Soon, she made determined steps inside and used both hands to push open the doors.

Jesse stood excited outside Molly's room getting ready to greet Molly's new Barbies. Normally, this would be Woody's job, but he and the others were already outside. Peeking around the corner, she looked up to see the original Barbie wave encouragingly.
Taking a breath, she strolled in. With a welcoming yodel, she greeted them with a wave of her hat. "Welcome to Molly's room! My name is Jesse and I'm from across the hall in Andy's room! I'm sure our lovely Barbie has already given you her own speech, yes?"
Gigging at her enthusiasm, the three new dolls came closer. One was a Barbie lookalike, but dressed in a stylish evening gown. Another had lovely tanned skin and brown hair and wore a chef costume. And the last was a redhead in a skater outfit with her own skateboard.
"That's right! Thank you for welcoming us!" The blonde clapped.
"It's nice to meet you." The brunette shook her head fondly at the former before reaching out to shake Jesse's hand.
"Hey there!" The redhead saluted. Hopping on the skateboard, she circled Jesse in fun challenge.
Jesse just grinned, already liking the fellow redhead.
~/~
Opening the doors, Jesse sighed in relief at what awaited her inside.
The girls are already hogging the booths near the dance floor. Giggles manning the music as Barbie and Bo stood in the middle taking charge. Three other women cooing at something out of sight in a booth.
Off to the side was a small table that Slink always decorates with their respective toys, depending on who visits anyway.
The tables at her destination were littered with boxes filled with things that once gave her nightmares. Now, she relies on it. She relies on them.
After all, it was Bo that called an intervention as a way to catch up.
From one antique to another, it means a lot that Bo is doing this for an old ragdoll like her.
But tonight-
The trio of fabulous ladies gasped upon hearing her entrance, squealed and rushed over to her.
They each squashed her into a hug and Jesse just stood there and melted in their embrace.
"Oh yeah, boss ladies." The redhead looked back to Barbie and Bo. "She definitely needs this."
Jesse simply sobbed a little and hugged the brunette in reach. Gently, they guided Jesse to the spot of honor for a night of pampering.
Time to turn this old rag doll into a fabulous Barbie!
~/~
Woody eyed the new Barbies curiously. The new trio were scouring Andy's room for something while the OG Barbie stood with her arms crossed in the doorway, just as mystified.
"What are you girls doing?" She was startled when the trio shushed her before taking positions.
The other blonde went to the window, while the redhead skated to the railing to the stairs. The brunette eyed them both from her perch in the chest.
Both girls gave the all clear, before going back to their strange search.
The redhead took pity on them and skated to Barbie and Woody. "Does Jesse have any other accessories or clothes?"
Wide-eyed the two veteran toys eyed each other.
"No…? Jesse came here as a lost toy with Bullseye and Barbie, here. What she wears is all she had on her." Woody offered.
Alarmed, the trio faced each other before quickly rushing into a group huddle.
This got the attention of the other toys.
Eventually they parted with a determined nod. "Sorry about the trouble we caused. Would you mind sending Jesse our way when she's free, please?" The brunette politely asked Woody.
"Yes! There are many things we must discuss!" The blond twirled in her excitement.
"O…kay~?" Woody eyed Barbie who shrugged.
"Thanks, man. We appreciate it. C'mon girls!" The redhead started to skate back to Molly's room as the other two eagerly tried to catch up.
"I'll … keep an eye on them." Barbie patted his shoulder. "Whatever it is, seems harmless. But I'll keep an eye out anyway."
"Thanks Barbie." He relaxed gratefully.

Jesse had her arms crossed, foot tapping, as she glared at Gabby on the booth. The nerve of this girl.
Bo just finished explaining what happened, but she was still mad at what the old doll did to her friends in the antique shop.
Grudgingly, she let it go, but settled for giving the girl the old ' I'm watching you! ' gesture before flopping in the booth and kicking off her boots. Bo has the upper hand this time around anyway, Jesse's just tired.
"Oh yeah! Let's party!" Giggles well- giggled as she had fun playing DJ.
Off to the side, Slink was simply enjoying the show fondly. Rolling his eyes, he looked at the list of pre-paid food and started their orders out back.
"Ready for girls' night?" The redhead grinned.
"Bring it!"
With a nod, the former Barbie dolls went to their respective boxes. Bo just sat next to Jesse and started undoing her hair and brushing it.
We're talking: Makeup, increasingly gaudy glam outfits, accessories, jewelry, and spa treatments.
Everything one needs to be pampered and feel glamorous and pretty.
~/~
Curious, Jesse made her way to Molly's room.
But that turned to regret pretty quickly as she was ambushed. The new dolls grabbed her and dragged her to Barbies' doll house. Alarmed, Barbie chased after them.
"Hey! What are you doing to her?!"
"But boss! Can't you see she's defective! I can't believe they let her leave the factory like this!" The blonde one gestured to a struggling Jesse in a face so horrified, Barbie actually hoped she herself wasn't that dramatic.
"What are you talking about?" She sighed exasperated.
"This poor Barbie doll needs a proper makeover. The factory may have left her defective, but we'll help make things right." The brunette looked determined to help a fellow 'Barbie' doll.
Whereas both Jesse and Barbie just shared a shocked look.
Before they both burst out laughing.
"You thought I was a Barbie?!" Jesse actually guffawed, near tears were her laughter so strong.
Barbie shook her head, slowing to giggles. "She's not a Barbie. She's a cowgirl ragdoll."
"What?!" The girls whirled around to face Jesse.
"I don't know whether to be flattered or insulted. Flattered you think I can be a Barbie, but insulted at that whole 'defective' remark." Her humor dimmed to a growl at that last comment.
The girls stood awkwardly between Barbie and Jesse.
"Oops..?" The redhead offered awkwardly.
"Hmmm…" Jesse's thoughtful hum broke the silence eventually. The girls faced the old cowgirl. "Although, I wouldn't say no to the makeover. But, would any of your clothes even fit?"
The trio gasped excitedly. Barbie whipped her head around in shock, before settling a concerned gaze on Jesse.
"Jess?"
Jesse shrugged. "I'm always around the boys, I don't even remember when I last played with the girls."
Barbie gave her a look. She was well aware why Jesse avoided Molly's room as she got older. "If you're sure."
Jesse shrugged again while looking away.
With a small smile, Barbie stepped towards her friend and pulled her into a hug. "I'm proud of you, you are being very brave." She whispered to her friend.
"You'll have them back off if-"
"I will. I promise."
Jesse pulled back with a shy smile.

Once Giggles was satisfied with the playlist, for now, she hopped and skipped over to the group. They were all chatting about the latest gossip concerning the mysterious sheriff and Buzz Lightyear of all people. She so ~ wants the deets!
Although the small table of toys caught her eye. Slowing, she noticed the very obvious similarity to her friends. Even Bo's lamp was there on the table. Bo just bought it for no reason and set it up with the other toys upon arrival.
This can't be a coincidence.
She gave the room a suspicious glance before pulling on a smile for her friends.
Bo was having way too much fun playing with Jesse's hair, the trio were giving Jesse a mani-pedi and Barbie eyed Jesse like a protective momma-bear.
Jesse kept warily gazing at their supplies.
And glancing at the table as if checking something.
Barbie leaned over and set her hand gently on Jesse's shoulder as if grounding her to the present. Bad memories maybe?
~/~
Barbie hovered protectively around Jesse as the girls fluttered about on their mission to give Jesse a makeover.
Barbie is well aware that Jesse's previous owner completely forgot Jesse's existence as she traded all her cowgirl gear for makeup and other teenager things back in the 70's. Jesse was literally left in the dust before being donated and left in the box.
Maybe it's Woody's influence, or maybe just helping the new dolls settle in. Or even just the 'defective' comment.
Whatever it was, Jesse is being very brave doing this. And Barbie will do her absolute best to be there for support. When the girls got a little too enthusiastic, she redirected and distracted them so Jesse could take a breather.
They helped her try on heels, let her pick her favorite dress… Barbie tried to make this as fun and carefree as possible while eyeing Jesse like a hawk.
There were giggles as she strutted around and tripped. Claps as she twirled around in various outfits before settling:
She wore a pink long sleeve top, a white skirt with a belt, white high heeled boots. Over that was a short side scarf, heart shaped earrings, and golden bracelets , her hair went loose from her braid styled curly. Using Molly's play makeup, they carefully gave Jesse pink nails and lipstick, light blue eyeshadow, and dark lines for mascara. She also had sunglasses on her head, perfume and a white shoulder purse.
All in all, Barbie was proud of her clearly struggling friend. The new girls might not have noticed, but there are some things you learn in Woody's group that bond toys together. She's glad she helped them at Al's Toy Barn.
Jesse tripped again and Barbie caught her. The two are seemingly having a conversation with just their eyes.
Silently, Barbie asked if she was really okay.
Ducking her head, Jesse shakily looked up with a shy nod.
Barbie ducked down to catch her gaze and give an encouraging nod.
Taking a breath, Jesse smiled with more confidence and nodded.

After all the nails were dried, next came the clothes.
Giggles grabbed Gabbys hand and handed the girl a camera.
Gabby gaped at Giggles.
"C'mon! You take some for Bo, and I'll take some for Jesse!" Giggles grinned.
In awe, Gabby nodded and fiddled with the camera before she started snapping pics determinedly.
Giggling, Giggles started her own rounds.
Slink came around to check in on them and they cheered and saluted him as he grabbed their plates. He gave a showman's bow and left them to it.
What happened next was a whirlwind of clothes and accessories tossed and caught by expert hands. Jesse just sat there, uncaring about the combinations, simply enjoying herself and rocking out to the music.
Barbie and Bo share proud mama looks. Jesse came a long way.
They quickly ushered the cowgirl to the restrooms to change with various armful of clothes in her wake.
Bo went over to lower the lights and to talk with Slink.
Giggles grinned and went to the DJ station to select a new playlist as the night progressed. After all, every model needs a runway!

Back in Woody's ship.
Nebula passed out from too much drink and cheer. Rex went below. Leaving Woody, Andy and Buzz in the cockpit. They were on their way to drop off Andy.
Buzz has just finished telling them about Mira and asking permission to tell his own friends about being toys.
They were silent as they absorbed that.
"I think you should, Buzz." Andy piped up from his seat behind them, next to Nebula.
"Andy?"
"They're your friends, right? Just like Woody and the others as toys, Mira and your team are your friends here. Your fight with Zerg is over, right? After everything you went through, I'm sure they'd have your back with this."
Buzz and Woody looked at each other, still unsure.

Gabby and Giggles were definitely enjoying the improv photoshoot with Jesse and the girls striking various poses.
Slink, Bo and Barbie were giving obnoxious criticism in the background, having them crack up, dramatically scoff or blow kisses to the cackling trio.
With the stage lights making it seem like a nightclub, Giggles' music spot on in setting the right mood, Jesse was successfully cheered up.
~/~
Earlier, Barbie called the toys into Molly's room for a surprise.
Curious, they sat on various objects as seats, before an improvised stage.
Barbie turned on Molly's music player and the trio of Barbies announced from behind the stage that they hoped they enjoyed the fashion show!
Excited now, they eagerly anticipated the show.
The 'curtain parted to reveal the new Barbies in their various outfits, before the three struck a pose for a 'ta da!' reveal.
And then, Jesse walked out and struck a pose.
Jesse wore a pink, sparkly, long shoulder-split celebrity-style dress and pink high heels. She had white fingerless evening gloves, a white fur boa, diamond shaped earrings, a 'diamond' necklace, golden cuff arm bracelets. Shockingly, her hair was out of her braid and wavy. Using Molly's play makeup, they carefully gave her pink nails and lipstick, light blue eyeshadow, and mascara. There was a giant flower on her hair, a golden shoulder purse and perfume.
Jaws were dropped.
Buzz's wings shot out.
Jesse Confidently walked forward.
Before tripping spectacularly. (Barbie facepalmed).
She quickly got back up and continued walking.
She stopped at the end for a few poses. Her friends cheered.
She turned back to the stage and the toys clapped and whistled. This repeated as Jesse and the new Barbies had four other outfits each.
It was fun!
Jesse even flirted with Buzz and Barbie couldn't resist playing a random song in Spanish.
~/~
At the bar, the night was winding down and Giggles was already passed out in the booth.
Bo held Gabby's hand as she silently beckoned the group over to the table.
The girls grabbed their respective toys and had them posed around Bo's lamp with Jesse's doll front and center.
Slink grabbed his phone as the girls stood behind the table.
He took a few photos of the group with the table of toys in front of them.
~/~
Andy waved goodbye as the ship flew away. Across the street a boy was playing outside with a toy sword.
"Sora! Dinners' ready, come inside!"
"Coming, mom!"
Andy stared. His gut was trying to tell him something.
But the boy was already inside and shut the door.
