Chapter 4 I thought I made this clear enough but obviously not as people are confused about why Mufasa wanted to kill his son. He sees his son as replaceable so he uses his son as a way to get rid of his brother. I don't own the Lion King or it's assets they're owned by Disney. Any OCs featured are my own creation unless stated otherwise. Any correlation to anyone's OCs is purely coincidental. Criticism is welcome and helps me improve my work.

CHAPTER IV

The sun was shining bright as Scar roamed the desert.
His green eyes and blank expression didn't reveal much of what goes through his mind.
He had been out in the desert for a day and two nights he had been banished by his brother Mufasa and now only one thing was in his mind.
To find Simba and make sure he's okay.
That would be so easy if he actually knew where he was.

"All... I need to do is... find Simba."

Of course the heat of the desert was getting to him.
But he still carried on after all his nephew's safety and health was more important than his.

MEANWHILE SOMEWHERE ELSE IN THE DESERT

Simba Was walking through the desert.
He didn't know where he was going.
Not that it mattered to him.
He had lost everything in one day.
And here he was alone in a desert.
His mind constantly replayed those events on that day.
As he walked on the hot barren dry desert he went over a hill.
Something caught his eye far away in the distance
He stopped and had a closer look.
Ahead it seemed there was an oasis.

'It's probably just another mirod or whatever Uncle Scar said they were.' Simba thought as a tear fell down his cheek.

Though as he got closer it didn't disappear.
As he got closer and closer he found it harder to move.
He was meters away from it when he collapsed to the ground.

"Can't... give up.. yet."

He tried his best to crawl over there but eventually he passed out.

MEANWHILE, SOMEPLACE ELSE

An average sized male leopard sneaked through the long grass of the savannah as some antelope grazed nearby.
As he lowered his body into a pouncing positions he was rudely interrupted by something or rather someone.
He looked up to see a lion with a black mane and dark goldenrod fur.

"Well well well, Why if it isn't the scaredy whimp of a leopard himself."

The lion smirked.

"Ju-just let me alone Zulu."

"Oh Hofu you know it's so much more fun to intimidate you after all you're always cowering down at the slightest of aggression."

"I-I-I'm n-not scared of you... I-I just-"

"Just what?, Are you just too scared?"

Hofu cowered down as Zulu walked up to him as they were now only inches away from each other.

"Ha ha. You make it to easy!"

"Now I suggest you beat it before I-"

"Perhaps it is you who should leave Zulu."

Zulu and Hofu Turned around to see a Sienna coloured lioness standing outside the grass

"Ha! one little lioness like you won't stop me."

"I'd Suggest listening to Almasi Zulu or you might just find yourself dead."

A Peru coloured lion with a Burnt Maroon coloured mane appeared next Almasi as other lionesses appeared.

"Oh Nguvu the "great" king of the Riverlands coming to save a a whimp like Hofu."

"You know he's on our territory and so are you."

"And may I remind you you and your "Pride" were banished after you tried to do a coup and kill me."

"Heh you're always saving the weak and unwanted certainly not something a king should have around here."

"You're lucky this time Hofu."

Zulu began walking away though he stopped and turned his head around

"Oh and one more thing Nguvu I know you and your precious queen had that thing of a son you call Ni I've recently been blessed with a son not that you care. But I'll say one thing's for sure. This isn't over yet Nguvu... It's barely begun."

He then walked away and back into his territory.

Almasi then approached Hofu who was still sitting cowering.

"Don't worry Hofu he's gone."

Hofu opened his eyes and got back up.

"Oh thank the spirits."

"You know you didn't have to do that."

"Nonsense Hofu! We can't let him bully animals on our land."

"It's what we do. We'll even get some food for you since you weren't able to get any."

"Thanks. Though it's embarrassing i always have to rescued or saved."

Nguvu overheard this bit and walked up to Hofu and Almasi.

"You'll find your courage one day young Hofu."

MEANWHILE

Scar was still roaming the desert he spotted an oasis ahead.

"At last."

He soon got to the Oasis and begin drinking.
That was until he noticed a bunch of vultures nearby.
Through the flock of vultures he saw a yellow cub.

'Could it possibly be him?' Scar thought

He wasted no time and ran over towards the vultures as he roared
The vultures soon Flew away in fright as Scar stopped and in front of him was the cub.
There was no mistaking who it was now.
He picked him up and carried him over to the shade of some trees.
He splashed some water in his face.
Simba soon woke up as he opened his eyes and lifted his head.
He looked at Scar although his vision was blurry at that moment it slowly became clearer.

"Uncle Scar i-is that you?"

"Yes Simba it's me."

Simba then used all his strength to embrace his uncle as tears fell down his face.

"I thought you were gone."

"Shh it's okay Simba I'm here now."

Simba then saw the water in front of him and began drinking.

"We'll have to continue if we're going to get out of this desert"

Scar then saw a hill not too far away in front of them.

"If we get to the top of that hill we might be able to see something."
"I don't think I can walk another inch."
"You won't have to Simba."

Scar picked Simba up and carried him as they got to the hill and reached the top.
He could see a rocky pass.

'Risky but if there's something beyond that pass I'll take the risk.' Scar thought.

'This is for Simba.' he thought as he walked towards the pass.

The pass got closer and and the soon reached it.
Although there was a narrow path ahead he carried on.
They soon crossed a small river and went through a small pass that lead to some grass.
As some watchful eyes looked at them as they left the rocky landscape.

The figure soon turned away and raced into a small cavern entrance.

"Inkokeli! I just spotted someone going into Nguvu's land. should i go after them.?"

"Don't bother Bomvu anyway he'd have your head if he caught you chasing someone in his land."

"Oh and Zulu- I mean Inkokeli. I think he had a cub with him."

"Great another lion to-"

"And it's a boy cub."

Zulu stopped as a plan popped into his head.

"That's excellent!"

"I thought you didn't want there to be-"

"No fool! It's perfect I can get the cub to fall in love with my daughter and then I can use my daughter to kill Nguvu and Ni."

"Oh yes of course."

"Oh Nguvu you better be prepared for a new era!"

As roars soon sounded in the den.

"Hey what's all the noise about Uncle Bomvu?"

A adolescent lion walked up to Bomvu.

"Oh our Inkokeli has made a plan to take over the Riverlands my nephew."

"Oh okay."

And he walked out of the den not paying attention to the sounds.

"Teenagers."

END OF CHAPTER IV

That's Chapter Four done and dusted I know it sounds silly but thank you to everyone who has faved, reviewed, or followed this story so far I never thought this story would be so liked. Remember criticism is welcome. And I better get this out now before people go up in arms and scream at me because I know who will and I know how awful the TLK and TLG fandoms get over this stuff. The story WILL NOT and NEVER go SimbaxOC so please do not get your underwear in a twist seriously I have NO intentions in making a simbaxoc storyline. So you guys can calm down. I shouldn't have to make that clear but I know what happens if I don't and I've seen it happen to other people.
