Chapter 5 not much to say. I don't own the Lion King or it's assets they're owned by Disney. Any OCs featured are my own creation unless stated otherwise. Any correlation to anyone's OCs is purely coincidental. Criticism is welcome and helps me improve my work.

CHAPTER V

Scar and Simba were walking in the grass at this point Scar had let Simba down onto the ground.
Scar started to feel strange.
Suddenly he fell to the ground and passed out.

"Uncle Scar!"

Simba rushed over to his uncle.

"Help!"

Ni was somewhere nearby when he heard someone calling for help.

'Someone must be in trouble' Ni thought. as he ran towards the calls.

"Help!"

Soon an adolescent lion ran up towards Simba stopping a few metres in front of him.
Simba was a little frightened but he knew he had to take the risk.

"Please help! Somethings wrong with my uncle!"

Ni quickly went towards Scar checking him all over.

"Heat exhaustion I'll have to take him back with me."

"Will my uncle be alright?"

"If we act quickly he'll aright."

Soon a lioness quickly came over.

"Safira take the cub I'll deal with this lion."

"Of course my prince."

"You won't hurt us will you?"

"No of course not."

Safira picked up Simba and Ni began carrying Scar to the healing area.
When the four arrived Nguvu ran over to Ni shocked.

"What's happened?"

"I heard someone calling for help and found a cub and a lion suffering from heat exhaustion."

"Make sure the cub is okay and get Haki here."

Scar was taken to the healing area as a king cheetah raced in.

"Where's this lion?"

"Over there Haki."

"Thank you."

"Move him over to the water in the shade. We need to make sure he's cooled down."

As Scar was treated Simba was taken to another area.
Simba sat still worrying about his uncle.
Some lionesses were there making sure he was alright.
A few hours passed until a lioness ran into the area where Scar was being treated.
By this time he had cooled down enough and was for the most part okay.

"Where is this lion?"

"Over there Almasi."

Almasi walked over to Scar.

She was about to say something when noticed he looked familiar to her.

"Is something wrong Almasi?"

"No this lion seems familiar to me."

She looked at Scar's face and body, Looking and analyzing every detail.

She remembered that day she was saved.

FLASHBACK

"Now Almasi be careful out there."

"Don't worry dad I'll be okay."

As she was walking she reached a river.

As she crossed three male rogue lions soon appeared.

"Well well well what do we have here."

"A lioness all on her own."

As one of the lions approached her she began stepping back prepared to fight.

"Stay back!"

She began swiping at the lion before the other two lions restrained her.

"A fighter are you?, Heh I like it when they fight. Pity it won't work."

He began putting his paws on her then a lion shouted from behind them.

"Alright boy's the fun's over now. Take your paws off her or I'll have to use brute force to do so."

"And what are you going to do about it!"

"Oh? You want to find out do you? Well why don't I show you just what happens!"

As the lion soon pounced on the lion as the lion was soon restrained on his back with the lion pressing his paw on his neck.

"Now I suggest you and your buddies here leave before I make sure you don't see another day."

"Alright fine we'll leave."

As the lion let the other lion up the three lions walked away out of the Pridelands.

The lion walked up her.

"Are you alright? They didn't hurt you did they?"

"No. they didn't. Thank you for saving me."

"It's what I do. You don't look like your around from here."

"I'm Almasi I live with my father out here."

"Askari. Second son of Ahadi and Uru and leader of the Lion Guard."

"You were quite brave back there."

"Thanks."

"Well I better be going now."

Almasi then walked away before she stopped.

"I'll never forget this I'll figure out a way of repaying you one day."

And she continued on.

END OF FLASHBACK

'It can't be him can it?' she thought as she looked at him.

Scar turned his head as he looked directly at Almasi.

"Askari?"

"Almasi?"

"What are you doing out here?"

"Uh it's a long story."

He told her why he was there as she stood there shocked at the reason.

"I can't believe it. your own brother forced you out?"

"Yes. That's why me and my nephew are here."

"I would never wish that on anyone."

"It's lucky that I even found my nephew."

"And he used his own son as a way to get rid of you."

Just then Haki walked in.

"Oh he's awake I'll inform the others and get his nephew here. He's been worrying just about the entire time."

"Yes thank you Haki."

"So where do you plan going?"

"I don't know, Anywhere my paws take me and my nephew."

Almasi turned to Haki who was just about to leave.

"Haki before you leave can you also get my brother here."

"Your brother?"

"Yes. I need to speak to him about something."

Almasi turned back to Scar.

"You know how I said I'll repay you one day Askari?"

"Yes?"

"Well considering this me repaying you cause I'm going to see if you can stay here."

"Really?"

"Of course."

"Thank you. And please call me Scar."

"Alright Scar."

A few minutes later Haki ran in as Simba jumped down.

"Woah that was fast!"

"Almasi your brother will be here shortly."

Simba saw Scar and ran over to him.

"Uncle Scar!"

"Simba!"

They soon embraced each other.

"Mister cheetah over there let me sit on his back and we were going fast it was awesome!"

"Well it's sounds like you had fun."

"Now Almasi what is it that you wanted to ask me?"

A lion walked into the healing area as Almasi walked up to him,

"Nguvu I wanted you to meet Scar here."

"Well greetings there Scar I'm Nguvu king of the Riverlands."

"Pleased to make your acquaintance your majesty.

""And this young lion here must be your son."

"No he's my nephew."

"You see Scar here was forced out of his home by his brother and I was wondering if he could stay here."

"Well of course he can and so can his nephew. We'll inform the pride and animals of this at once."

"Haki gather the pride and animals. I need to make sure everyone hears about this."

"Yes of course."

Soon the whole Riverlands was gathered with Scar and Simba standing next to Nguvu.

"Welcome one and all I have gathered you all here for some important news. We have two new additions to the pride."

The animals whispered and murmured to each other with some gasps.

"Scar and his nephew Simba have been forced to leave their home by Scar's Brother and have been allowed to stay here. Please make sure to make them feel welcome."

As the animals went away after the announcement a lion had watched the whole thing and ran off into the pass.

As he arrived at the pass another lion was waiting for him.

"What did you find out Bomvu?"

"They've accepted them."

"Oh that's perfect it's all falling into place. Soon we can enact the plan and the Riverlands will be mine."

"Be prepared Nguvu for the biggest war you'll see."

END OF CHAPTER V

That's chapter 5 done took longer than it should have but it's here now there might be a chapter on Friday and Saturday (Thursday and Friday For Americans) to fix the schedule (As long as I don't end up deciding to procrastinate) and to make up for the delay everything should be fine after that as long as there no more mess ups. The fic seems to be doing way better than I expected Again I apologize for the delay (Damn ADHD messing up my schedule)
