The fox and the dog chapter 1 their lives
This chapter will be building up both Towa and Kurama / Shuichi
As stated in the intro chapter the first part of this story will cover yuyu hakusho with the 2nd part of the story covering yashahime
This chapter will lead up cover when Towa what happens to her between when she comes to the present timeline [ yashahime modern world mixed with yuyu hakusho but will take place in the 2020 over the 80-90s when yuyu did]
I will also fill story gaps left out by both series as the story goes
Pov with swap between Kurama and Towa
Kurama will be in the same middle school as Towa in the start of the story and be in high school as the main story starts
I will make Kurama much older to and have the feudal era they go to be different in this story
Towa pov
It wasn't long after I ended up in what was another time and place, soon after that I met a man named Sota who adopted me. I think he gave the excuse that I was his lost sister's daughter to do so. I knew I has a twin sister that was with me before I woke up in the new time, but she was never found. I mostly lived in peace with my adopted father and mother for a year until a strange social worker came to check on me. I could tell the woman smelled strange but not fit what said smell was. But it wasn't long after that, my adopted grandfather did something to me that seemed to limit my overall power. over the next few years, I mostly had a normal life of a girl that was over better at sports than most of my classmates. I knew I was better due to being a half demon but being better also put me under fire of bullies. But when I started middle school that changed.
It was an upperclassman that helped me there. Soon after that, I found a old psychic that was willing to train me in not just my yokai powers but also my human spirit powers. Her name was Genkai, and she told me my father was a powerful dog demon. When I asked her what breed of dog? She replied with "your grandfather was a primal dog breed not far from wolves to took over his master's lands after he had not heir. At least that is the legend I remember hearing."
Genkai would train me after school and on weekends for hours at end. I had to take a break from her later for the woman to train her chosen heir. Then after about a month she resumed my training but not long after that I started to go through my own changes. My ears shifted from the side of my head to a little higher up. Along with other boys came to the shrine with other problems. Genkai started to think there could be a connection between my ears and the powers these boys gained. Genkai then said, "we are going to need my heir and his team together." I didn't know who this team was, but I knew I would need to help give them hell.
Kurama pov
Before I merged into my current form, I lived and stole through many eras of Japan, but I was first born albino twin to another Kitsune name Shippo but at a young age we were separated. I lived alone and made my way as a thief while he found his own family. I found companions and lost them over the centuries. I had two majors of those two in Yomi and Kuronue one I had to punish and the other did make it out of a job. Both of those loses broke my demon heart and I never ended up finding love or even one time loves. I would sometimes form connections to females I would do jobs in but many of those would either try to use me or die on the job. Then before my life as a demon ended, I tried to do one last theft, but it all went wrong when the most elite spirit world soldier caught me with a lethal poison and the only way, I could carry on was to merge with an unborn baby. Then not long after that, I started my new life as Shuichi Minamino.
What I didn't figure out was that my new mother could bring back emotions I long thought was dead. I then planned to try to help her as much as I could before I left back for the world of demons again. But when I was started third year of middle school. I discovered a half demon in my school, this half demon was a very boyish girl that needed a little help to avoid hurting humans. I helped her and started to form a level of attraction.
But before I could form a deeper connection, my mother started to get sick with an uncurable illness and to get the cure I had to team up with two demons. To steal the item that could save her. But in trying to save my mother using the item, I met another that changed my fate. I meant to kill myself to save the woman that became my mother but due to the person sent to get the items and maybe even a wish from the half demon saved both my life and my mother's life.
After that I formed a connection with the half demon girl named Towa and worked off my dept by going on adventures with the boy that saved me Yusuke. Then the most recent mission we went on helped me regain the power of my former form Yoko. Then after that, things were mostly peaceful until. One day Yusuke was captured, and I had to fight against a classmate in a battle of wits while avoiding dogs that would mess with my plants. But in time I won the game, and we saved our friend only to learn somebody was trying to open a door to the demon world and besides empowering humans. the of which were the ones testing us and Towa was also helping test us from the sidelines but was affected in a stranger way than just being empowered her ears became dog ears.

The next chapter will get formally into chapter black with Towa helping Yusuke and rest while getting closer to Kurama
But first the trio will have to meet the healer to try and save the dragon prince so they can start the next leg of their journey
