RWBY Reloaded: Volume 6 Alterations and Commentary

Volume 6 Chapter 1

This is where the timeline permanently splits from the main timeline. It opens with one month since the Battle of Haven. Adam Taurus is on the run and the White Fang has been outlawed. This is an anticlimactic end for the villain, and he was mostly killed off because I couldn't figure out what to do with him in Volume 6 and the Atlas Arc.

We then shift to Haven as Reuben is giving the Spring Address to the students in Haven. Reuben's power has steadily been on the rise, as he starts to consolidate power over the weak central government of Mistral. Mistral has the most amount of territory, but as explained in the World Of Remnant Series, the Council could not exert its full influence. Reuben, a man who was schooled in Atlas, believes in a strong central government. Reuben is challenged by Wilder as to his military buildup, a reason why Atlas had its blockade and makes sense in canon. Reuben also points out the Military occupation of Northern Vale which split from the Kingdom of Vale.

A small snippet of Team RWBY in their new dorm. The team discusses the living arrangement, and some playful banter is exchanged.

The End is focused on Mantle. Robyn Hill has been giving speeches in the run up to the council election. However, her movement has grown into a full-on revolution. Batman, a vigilante who has been living in the Kingdom for years has been enlisted to stop her.

Volume 6 Chapter 2

The title of the Chapter Batman Vs Robyn is of course a play on Batman Vs Robin from the DC Comics. The chapter focuses on Batman fighting Robyn Hill and her Happy Huntresses.

Batman proceeds to make quick work of said team, before facing off against Robyn. He imprisons them instead of executing them, because of his moral code. Robyn and her team will also be an important focus in later volumes.

Batman is revealed to be Sam Henry, Former headmaster of Atlas introduced in Volume 4. Sam Henry's Batman has all the same quirks as his DC Counterpart. The Batcave scene also includes the red fox Faunus, Lucius Fox, adapted in homage to his counterpart in the Dark Knight Trilogy played by Morgan Freeman.

This ending is particularly dark. Displaying a glance into the notorious Mistral black market. Faunus meat, furs and other stolen clothing and weapons are sold here at a high premium, with no regards to who it used to belong to.

Volume 6 Chapter 3

Team RWBY gets their own dorm room, similar to Beacon. However, it is a vast Improvement with large beds and more space so they don't have a hanging bed like at Beacon. JNR also gets a room, but theirs is smaller due to a missing teammate. Jaune's armor is redesigned from its Volume 4 look, into a more battle worthy attire.

Reuben has fully settled into the Headmaster role. Completely transforming Leo's old office. Reuben talks to Oscar and mentions smaller academies within Remnant that go unnoticed. All the while, Raven is pleasuring him from under the desk, and he struggles to maintain composure. This scene also names the large group of huntsmen and huntresses formally, The Justice League, a way better name than just Ruby's group. A reference to the actor who played Professor Port in RWBY is also made near the end.

The Hall of Justice is created in an old conference room. Reuben has the emblems custom made along with their nameplates. This, more in line with a traditional group of superheroes rather than a ragtag group of kids meeting wherever was most convenient.

Speaking of Headquarters, Atlas is gearing up for war with Mistral. The Ace-Operatives are dispatched to Argus, the battleground heading into the Season Finale. Some are familiar with Reuben, while others have only heard rumors about the Superman.

Volume 6 Chapter 4

The chapter opens with some lighthearted ship bait, which I am all too eager to dish out. Followed up by the Ace-Operatives descending on the City of Argus in their new, sleek individual huntsmen pods. These Pods are meant to land just about anywhere on Remnant and developed after the Fall of Beacon to avoid the costly destruction of a warship. It takes design cues from the rocket lockers from Beacon, but unlike Jaune's it is comfortable, and pilotable.

Next, we have the visit to Saphron's house as like what happened in the original Volume 6. However this time it has some fun little banter, with even more ship baiting, before the Atlas military interrupts. Jaune relays the broadcast information back to his leader, as the Battle of Argus gears up. The Ace-Operatives search the large city, looking for Reuben, with him nowhere near their location.

The first of the Ace-Operatives to engage Reuben is of course Harriet Bree, the speedster. Her semblance is supposed to allow her to move at super speed. Reuben's previous training in Atlas has refined his speed to be greater than her semblance, allowing him to react quickly to her attacks. Ruby and Weiss help Reuben bring down Harriet, as Jaune is forced to stay behind and watch her.

Elm's turn from a loyal Ace-Op to a traitor is like Marrow's in Volume 8. However, she turns on the Ace-Ops for reasons that will be explored in a future story. The Original story plan I had in mind saw Reuben break his rule of not killing as he would've decapitated Marrow. This was to eliminate the obstacle posed by his semblance, in the end, I decided to let the dog Faunus live for now. The fight ends when all the Atlesian Personnel are captured and put in Gravity Bolas.

Team RWBY is far more powerful in this timeline then they were in the original Volume 7 when they first fought the Ace-Ops. This was due to the more intensive training and relaxation combination that took place at Haven Academy.

The Happy Huntresses don't stay in jail long. Robyn is broken out by someone with connections that have sympathy to her cause. She frees the rest of her team and they set out to formulate a plan that will lead into the next Volume.

So, that was Volume 6! I know it took a long time to get this out to you guys. But, I had important stuff going on and this wasn't on the release schedule like the others. I had to manually go in and give my thoughts and opinions 4 whole months after writing and a while after releasing it on this site. But I hope you all stay tuned as Volumes 7 and 8 are next! The New weekly chapters will now be uploaded to the RWBY Reloaded: Volumes 1-3 Section, so go check out Volume 1 Chapter 2 when it drops this Friday!
