A week later and everyone at the park were making preparations to meet the final line of Mild's best friends. It was going to be Patchi and his friends. Who was Pachyrhinosaurus. Today's team was only going to be simply Blue, Mild and Lincoln, due to everyone else being busy. As soon as the trio head through the portal and into Cretaceous Alaska.
Lincoln: Is this the place?
Mild: It sure is.
Blue caw in response as the sapient dinosaur looks around for any signs of other dinosaurs. The dinosaurs that Lincoln was told would be living here in Alaska are Alexornises, Pachyrhinosauruses, Troodons, Edmontias, Parksosauruses, Hesperonychuses, Gorgosauruses, Edmontosauruses, and Chirostenotes. The trio sets off to find a feeding ground, where the herds by be at.
Mild: Keep your eyes peeled you guys.
Lincoln: Yes Mild.
Even Blue agreed as well. This took about 3 minutes until a feeding ground of Pachyrhinosaurus came into view. Mild and Lincoln sighed in relief, knowing that Patchi might be here. Even Blue decided to do the same too. By the time they entered, the ceratopsians recognized Mild, but were curious of Lincoln and glared at Blue. But the trio pressed on to see Patchi.
Lincoln: I hope we get to see Patchi.
Mild: We will.
By the time they made it through the crowd, the trio finally got to see 3 Pachyrhinosaurus which are Patchi, Juniper and Scowler. Who were standing in the open talking. Mild was the first to walk up to them as they got to the 3 ceratopsians. Mild introduces which friend to each other, even the small bird Alex got to meet Blue and Lincoln. Scowler however, freaks out upon seeing Blue. Which is going to take a lot of work.
Patchi: Calm down Scowler, you're fine.
Scowler: Fine?! Fine?! Mild brought a predator here to eat us!
Lincoln: You have to trust us, Blue means no harm.
The raptor chitters in agreement. Anyhow, everyone agreed to this. In which the herds were skeptical about this. Patchi told them not to worry about it as this will be under control. Mild and Lincoln agreed too.
Patchi: I am surprise you decide to come back.
Mild: Yes and to take you to the Safe Place.
Scowler: That's nice.
Mild: How are the kids?
Juniper: Nice.
Lincoln was surprise to hear this. And so was Blue, but decides to meet them from a safe distance. The kids were were scared of Blue, but Scowler kept an eye on them. Lincoln on the other hand, tells them all about how the Safe Place (Speculative Park) is thriving and there would be carnivores here. Alongside other herbivores, but the herbivores around here freaked out.
Mild: Calm down everyone. There'll be plenty of time to have a new home, before this flood comes.
The pachyrhinosaurs to so as other herbivores gathered around here too. Like Edmontias, Parksosaurus and Edmontosaurus. Even others like Alexornises, Chirostenotes, Troodons, Hesperonychus, Gorgosaurus, and small mammals. The herbivores, small mammals and the birds grown uncomfortable seeing carnivores and egg eaters joining them for this gathering. Patchi pressed on.
Patchi: Everyone, I know you don't like it when carnivores are present, but you all must know about a flood coming.
The dinosaurs and mammals get confused upon this. Patchi explains about a pile made of logs were getting unstable. Mild and Juniper explain about getting them to higher ground and sending them to the safe place. The herbivores, birds and mammals agreed and wanted to leave the predators and egg eaters behind. The latter retorted by saying they wouldn't get anywhere without them.
Patchi: No need to fight everyone. We're going to higher ground, so Mild can get us to the Safe Place.
That cheered everyone up as Alex went to get everyone together. Patchi leads the way as they set off for high ground to escape the flood. As they do, the trio decided to come along with their friends to help them get everyone to safety.
Mild: Great idea everyone, all we have to do is get up that large hill, that way I'll set up the time portal and get them to the present.
Blue and Lincoln nodded in agreement as they set off for destiny. It was going to be a great one as the dinosaurs, mammals and birds all head into the same direction. Lincoln hopped onto Blue and rides her. The raptor simply walked along side the herbivores, knowing that they don't trust her and the other carnivores. The journey was going to be long and hard.
Mild: No worries everyone, we're going to make it.
They sure will as the dam of logs wasn't gonna hold long whereas there'll be a very big flood in the next few minutes. Patchi leads everyone all the way out of the valley and into a vast landscape to find high ground. It was hard at first, but soon decided to succumb to finding one regardless.
Alex: Don't worry Patch, we'll find it.
Patchi: As you wish.
The group all soon find somewhere to escape the flood. It was a large hill as they were able to make it. Mild got into the front of everyone to step up the portal. However, many miles away there was trouble: the logs were starting to give in. The water was ready to burst. The team had to worry before it's too late.
Lincoln: Okay Mild, is the portal ready?
Mild: Right about now.
He activates it as everyone enters the portal. Patchi got Juniper to lead everyone and the kids out of here. He and Scowler went to go help the team. Lincoln and Blue went around to make sure everyone makes it on time. The two pachyrhinosaurus brothers went around to help out any stragglers, while Lincoln and Blue herded everyone to the portal.
Lincoln: Come on now, we can't lose you.
Blue chitters and got everyone to move too, despite the mammals, birds and herbivores glaring at her. Nevertheless, the other carnivores got through the portal too. Just in time as the flood begun. The animals managed to get to safety. The portal led to the holding corrals as the team were able to get them out of here.
Lincoln: Finally, everyone's safe.
Patchi: Yep.
The team soon cheered on their victory. The animals were settled in their enclosures. The herbivores were put in Jurassic Safaris, the carnivores were put in Carnivore Corridor, the small mammals were put in Jurassic Small House and the Alexornis were put in the Mesozoic Aviary. It was just like the Jurassic Aviary, but design to house gliding dinosaurs and Mesozoic birds. Alex got to roam free.
