NOT the first episode but I wanted to try doing an opening, just for kicks!
Let me know what you think about the opening. I thought I'd just try it out since I've seen some other fics do this. If you guys don't like it I won't do any others. Let me know in the comments.
Opening One: Valkyrie Dawn
Song: V.I.P by SID
Akogare o o ima tsukanda
A young man with dark brown hair (Gian) is seen kneeling in a temple, head bowed and his hands clasping the handle of his sword which has the tip planted firmly on the ground.
Suddenly, a beautiful blonde woman (The Goddess Laias) with three pairs of angel wings floats down from the heavens and gently tilts his head up, allowing his greenish-blue eyes to meet hers as she smiles.
As Gian smiled back, Laias disappears in a burst of light, and the background changes to him kneeling on a grassy hill, overlooking Artair, the home of the Valkyrie Dawn Guild.
Daikansei no namari ni kokochiyoku utareta nara
Gian looks down for a bit before he notices that he's not alone on the hill. A young man with messy yellow hair and orange eyes (Rhys) is smirking at him from his right. On his other side, a young woman on his left with long, straight, silvery-white hair and reddish-pink eyes is staring at him with an unimpressed look on her face, (Hilda). Lastly, in front of him bending down and offering her hand is a girl with extremely wavy brilliant rose-colored hair, and plum-colored eyes (Cress).
Gian smiles as he takes Cress's hands and she quickly drags him towards the town while laughing and leaving both Rhys and Hilda surprised for a moment before the other two hurry after them.
Saa tobikomou
The camera catches the four characters as they disappear from view before panning upward to show the brilliant blue sky, The title, "Valkyrie Dawn" fades into view.
Ashita kara umarekawaru to ka dareka ga mikiritsuketa to ka
The scene changes to the Valkyrie Dawn guildhall where the hectic everyday life in the guild can be seen: Guildmates are happily interacting with each other, Gian is seen entering the kitchen with a crate of vegetables while Cress is sitting at the bar, watching him contently. The camera then pans to the left to show Hilda angrily stomping on Rhys' stomach over and over again, her face bright red with embarrassment while Rhys fails to escape from her. As all this is happening, the camera pans up to show the Valkyrie Dawn Guild Master, a woman with deep olive skin, straight silvery-white hair, and reddish-pink eyes (Farrah) watching the chaos from the third story, a content look on her face.
Kono machi no sutairu to ka
The screen then changes to a black background with a young girl with bright golden-blonde hair and dull amethyst-colored eyes (Jeanne) sitting hollowly in the middle of a blood-red magic circle, shackles around her wrists and ankles; She's also badly beaten and dressed in rags.
She blinks as the black background changes to white and suddenly she's in cleaner clothes and healed with Gian, Rhys, Cress, and Hilda surrounding her, smiles on their faces which she quickly returns.
Sonna mono ni nagasaretsuzukete kado no toreta genseki ni wa
The scene then changes to all five of them racing through a grassy plain, the sun shining overhead. The two boys speed on ahead, racing each other while the girls trail behind.
Kitto daremo you wa nai
Eventually, Hilda grows annoyed by how far Jeanne and Cress have lagged and pulls out her saber, summoning her companion, mythical beast, a large wolf-like creature with a thick white mane and glowing yellow eyes (Fendry).
Both Cress and Jeanne hold on for dear life after Hilda pulls them onto Fendry's back and the large wolf takes off running after Gian and Rhys, both boys stopping in their tracks as they watch it leap over them in awe.
Fushigi to tobira no mukou ni wa V.I.P nanoru yatsu wa naku
The camera then flashes to scenes with other characters, beginning with:
A large orphanage appears on the screen with children playing out on the lawn, a large, grizzly man with graying black hair and clear blue eyes (Lorenzo) is watching them, a look of contentment on his face.
The scene then changes to show a man with thick golden-blonde hair and amber eyes (Bellamy) sitting behind a large oak desk, hands clasped in front of him as he listens to two mages give a report.
The scene changes again to show a young woman with wavy black hair and deep sky blue eyes (Aine) looking at a golden statue of the Goddess Laias before spreading her hands out and praying.
Lastly, the scene focuses on a girl with deep fire-colored hair and aqua green eyes (Cleo) sitting on a bench and silently looking up at the stars, a man with black hair and cold dark blue-purple eyes (Koel) watching alongside her; the camera then zooms out as she looks behind her, startled to see a young man with shaggy charcoal gray hair and brandy colored eyes (Zayne) leaning against the back of the bench while a girl with light brown hair and peridot-colored eyes (Caia) leaned in between Koel and Cleo, giving the former a teasing smile which caused him to sigh in exasperation.
Dare mo ga kunou no hate sa ore mo
A woman with dark purple hair with blue highlights (Viola) stands at the edge of a cliff and watches Gian's group from afar before looking at the camera and teleporting away in a scatter of black feathers.
Akogare o ima tsukanda
A bright golden magic circle shrinks into the background as Gian appears, holding his sword up in the air, bright golden light swirling around him and a silhouette of the Goddess Laias glows behind him.
The light envelopes Gian's entire body and when he burst out of the light a moment later, his appearance has changed. His hair is now long and pure white and his eyes are gold, along with a pair of angel wings on his back. Gian swings his sword and an arc of light shoots from it.
Mi o yudanereba ii kaji wa kono te ni
The scene then changes to Cress dodging monsters that lung for her and jumping into the air, a confident smile on her lips as she claps her hands together, sending out a sonic boom that destroys the ground beneath her and sending the monsters flying in different directions.
The camera then pans down and to the right where it shows Hilda effortlessly cutting down the monsters that charge at her with a large gold-and-black spear. She swings the weapon in an arc at a group of monsters and they instantly become covered in ice and shatter.
The camera then circles around to show Rhys surrounded by monsters before he takes a deep breath and lets out what looks like a burst of lightning from his mouth, shooting the monsters into the air
Mittsu kazoete the show time
Jeanne appears on the screen, twirling a scythe-like weapon through the air before slashing it towards the camera as Jeanne starts to fade from view, and only a white silhouette is left.
Behind her silhouette, there is a sequence of quick scenes flashing behind her: First, of her guildmates at Valkyrie Dawn, all looking welcoming as they look towards the camera, then shifting to Cleo and Rhys standing back-to-back, both looking forward with determination in their eyes. Lastly, the scene freezes on Viola staring out towards the camera, a deep sadness in her golden-brown eyes.
Daikansei no namari ni kokochiyoku utareta nara
The camera shows a white background with Gian smiling at the camera before looking down. The camera follows Gian's gaze to focus on Jeanne who's looking back up at him from a sitting position.
Saa tobikomou
As Gian helps Jeanne to her feet the white background fades out and the rest of their team appears next to them, Rhys and Cress fading in on Jeanne's side while Hilda fades in on Gian's side. All five of them then look at the camera with smiles on their faces as the white background completely disappears and it shows that they're actually standing in front of the Valkyrie Dawn guild building.
