Chapter 1: A Blind Date
SOOOOOO, I have created another story on this chapter and have found some kind words from people reviewing 'The Crimson Wolf Singer' story that's currently in progress. I have so many ideas for the other chapters for that story that I could make it to a 15- or 20-chapter story but that will wait in the future. The other story that's going to be a long-term project is the Destiny 2 & RWBY crossover story that will contain Ruby as the main character. In that story I will make Ruby OP or way stronger than most because that was what I had in mind and the rest will be told when I start to write down the first chapter out hehehe.
This story is probably going to be a short 4-chapter pages or at max 10 chapters. Basically, most of my stories will be centered around Ruby or Team RWBY & Team JNPR at most. So, the basics of this story is Ruby goes on a blind date because she's starting to feel alone and that her crushes are in a relationship already. So, she decides to go out and sign herself up for a blind date without anyone's knowledge during her free period in Beacon. She starts to change and become more mature and so on. You feel me.
The relationship on this story will be Ruby and Sienna Khan! Wooooo, Cabbage you're being risky there! ^. ^ but I have snooped around the fandom and haven't seen much Sienna X Ruby fanifcs sooooo I wanted to do this! This will contain smutt/lemon whatever you want and be situated in the normally RWBY universe with grimm and whatnot. It will contain strong language and more mature content!

Chapter 1: A Blind Date
Ruby felt alone, in fact she felt heartbroken at the current moment. Why did she feel like this? Well, all her teammates were in a happy relationship and were doing their own things together. To make matters worse Ruby had a crush on both Blake and Weiss and yet she was too scared and nervous to ask them out. She didn't want to ask her sister for some help as much as she loved Yang, she would just get teased and made fun at as most big sisters as well. In fact, it really didn't help that her sister got into 'sibling/mother bear' mode whenever someone tries to talk to Ruby or flirt with her.
Now, Ruby watched Yang and Blake walk out the room together holding hands as they told her that they were going to go to a club with Weiss and Neptune. Of course, she put on a mask and pretended to be cheery and a dolt like everyone knew as they left the room to go into Vale.
'This really sucks...' she sighed to herself as the door closed and she was left in the dorm sitting on her bed reading the new weapon magazine. Ruby wanted to upgrade something about her beloved crescent rose and her attire, she has been thinking this for a while and asked her team for some advice, but they shrugged her off like she was nothing.
"It also really doesn't help that all my friends are in a relationship, and I'm stuck here without anyone that I liked." Lying on her front as she scrolled past the pages of the weapon magazine and stumbled upon an advert on the page. She was intrigued and bored out of her mind and thought 'fuck it, why not?' she clicked on the advert, and it read in big letters,
"Valentines is approaching! Still alone and have no one? Jealous of your friends and need to level up! Come and try a blind date! Sign your name down below and we'll find a date for you!" At this point Ruby had already filled the form that was below and entered her email and waited for the confirmation. Seconds later she got a notification on her scroll saying that her application has been received.
"Hmmm. I guess if I am going to do this, I'll have to get dressed reasonably, can't look all messy and look like I just came out of bed. Heh, I wish" As she looked into the mirror of the dorm and grabbed some casual but nice clothing to show off her body. Ruby had grown somewhat over the semester and was starting to look like more of a woman than a teenager and she was proud with her growth spurt so far. She kept short hair, but it was a little bit longer and was braided. Her baby fat on her body started to disappear but she still had that childlike look, she had grown a little bit and that annoyed Weiss but oh well.
Ruby then connected her scroll to her Bluetooth headphones and started to listen to some music as she was getting dressed and put on a nice crimson red shirt, some black high waisted slacks, comfortable white trainers and then a nice fitted black blazer on.
'Looking good rubes' She snorted at her antics and smiled at the way she looked. Gone was the teenage looking Ruby and here is more mature yet childish Ruby. She spun around in front of the mirror and smiled and took a picture and sent it to Coco.
Coco had helped her a lot during the second half of the semester as she was the well-known upper-class fashionista. She had gone out her way to talk to her after combat class as she was headed to lunch when she pulled her aside and questioned what was going on with her and the team. At first, she didn't want to tell her but when she was in a hug and could smell the coffee scent off her hair, she felt safe. Ruby talked through the lunch time telling her what was happening, and Coco only nodded and interrupted when it was important or wanted to give her thoughts in the conversation. At the end the two became acquainted with each other and traded scroll numbers and went off to their classes.
Over time they had connected and talked about their interests. Coco had helped Ruby with her dressing up although she was pouting at her and whining saying the most typical Ruby like thing 'I... I dress just fine! Seee'. The second-year leader couldn't help but laugh at her friend's attitude and told her she won't be overbearing but would like her to help dressing if she wanted to attract people, so Ruby gave in and smiled softly.
She then started to add some makeup but not too much as Velvet had so kindly guided her with makeup when she was with Coco. She had learned some handy tips from the two older girls and couldn't thank them enough and they just smiled at her. In truth the two girls were very upset with her team and how they treated her, especially her older sister. Lastly, she added some silver roses earrings and, in the center, had a small diamond that would sparkle when the light hit it right.
That was a gift from the two girls on her 16th birthday, the two girls were the only ones to acknowledge her birthday apart from the beacon staff as they loved the upbeat and cheery girl, they all knew. She was a gem to all the staff as she would constantly look out for them and would pay attention as much as she can but in Port's class, she struggled but he didn't mind. Glynda had told the staff that Ruby was her favorite child, and they couldn't help but agree and Ozpin just nodded as her drunk his coffee. (I mean what else would he be drinking? THIS MAN IS SO ADDICTED TO HIS COFFEE HE COULD POWER REMNANT IF HE REALLY WANTED TOO! FUUUUUUU…. sorry I got a little bit triggered…)
Finally, her outfit was done, and her makeup was cleaned up, she cleaned the mess up and sprayed some strawberry & vanilla perfume she had bought for some nice occasions, and she thought it would be good for tonight. She checked if she had everything twice and then grabbed her purse and walked out the dorm and headed to the landing docks at beacon and waited for her the bullhead to arrive.
Sienna Khan was having an uneventful day as a important figure, she worked hard especially being a faunus in the society now. Considering that faunus weren't treated fairly in the past it had started to become better at treating faunuses in Vale. She was transferred to Vale for her job to overview the situation and meet the council of Vale.
Today though her job had been so tiring, she was doing paperwork throughout the whole day and travelling to different areas in town to give speech as a public figure and had to do some interviews. At the end of the day, she wanted to just wind down but the key aspect she missed and yearned for was having to cuddle someone and be held after her long days at work. She wanted to feel love and be in a warm pair of arms the past lovers were alright, but they didn't care about her or would hurt her that's why she had built walls over her heart and gave this cold aura.
It was quite the opposite if you looked into her eyes or her body language. She held a piece of paper in her hands as her secretary found a website to sign herself up for a blind date, she did convince her to do it and the only thing she could do was groan in annoyance and took it.
'Maybe, this will work but I highly doubt it. She's just looking out for me so I guess I could just give it a try' She huffed at herself and opened the door to her floor and put her bags down on the entrance table and slipped out of her heels and sighed softly as her feet touched the cool marble ground.
Her friend had asked her what she was looking in for a partner or lover. It took her a couple minutes to think about her preference and then she smiled softly and answered back.
"Well, I am looking for someone young, adventurous, loves to go out but also likes to cuddle in blankets and watch movies and play games. Someone that's caring and will support me with the work I do." Her friend just glared at her, and Sienna couldn't help but huff at the glare and continued.
"Yes, I know that's a bit of a precise request, but I just want someone to be supportive for once. Someone that's herself and happy to be show their true emotion around me and not feel shy. I JUST WANT TO BE HELD AT NIGHT" she whimpered at the last part as tears were slipping down her cheeks and her friend quickly ran up to her and hugged her softly and rubbed her back whispering 'you're okay and we'll find that person together'. Now she wasn't just only a public figure she was also a very talented and famous actress and featured in some big movies and quickly raised into fame. However, she only did movies that she was convinced about and if the director would treat their actors and actress rightly. She walked to her office and logged onto her laptop and searched the website and found the page. 'Try a Blind Date in Vale' she clicked on it and read the page and sighed as she drank some champagne and filled out the form and waited for her number.
In the meantime, she connected her phone to the apartment surround sound and played some relaxation music as she just hummed along and thought what she was going to wear tonight. She really didn't want to wear something too expensive and too crazy that screamed 'COME ROB ME'. Normally, she would investigate this person or ask her secretary for details of her date but right now? She had no information and felt out of her place.
Ruby on the other hand felt exuberant about this and felt positive about the blind date. Apart from being an awkward person she had learned from Coco, how to be a confident young woman. The redhead smiled softly as she remembered telling her friend about this and she responded by saying 'YOU SHOULD DO IT!'.
The young leader looked at her emails and saw that she was paired with number 18 and couldn't help but think about the possibilities of the date could be. Considering the fact, she was not interested in men and ticked the option of what sex she preferred to be with. Ruby may seem naïve, but she wasn't stupid and understood what mostly Blake and Yang talked about or even her smutty book.
"I can't believe that they think I'm so innocent and naïve, but I do know what they're talking about, but I just keep it to myself." All she could do is watch the bullhead head into Vale and looked at the various buildings and the night life of the city and smiled fondly. She remembered the times where her team used to interact with her and go on trips, sadly they left her out a lot of things and ended up ignoring her.
Shaking her head, she listened to some music before arriving at the landing docks in Vale and waiting to get out as everyone else headed for the clubs, bars or just heading back to their homes.
'I wonder if I could request to leave my team or Beacon? Maybe not beacon but if my team and friends continue with this behavior maybe that would be a good option.' She debated internally and started to make her way to the destination of the meet-up point.
Ruby then started to stroll down the sidewalk as she knew roughly where it was, but the bullhead had arrived a bit late and she hate to think about keeping the date waiting for her and she rushed a little bit, not too much that it would activate her semblance, she really didn't want her team to know she was out herself.
Sienna had arrived at her place, and she met the staff and the waitress that would be serving herself and the date that would be arriving. She checked the time and then followed the waitress to the spot.
She could only just marvel at the sight; it was so beautiful on the rooftop. There were other tables around theirs but the table she was at overlooked the city. The vines the hugged the pillars of the structure, it had assortments of flowers, there was one large candle in the middle of the table and then two smaller ones on each side, the table was set and there was some calming music playing over. Other blind dates had just arrived at the place and sat in their place and anxiously waited for their dates.
Her ears twitched softly as she listened in to different conversations across her and would stare at the sunset. She took out her scroll and took a picture and smiled at herself and sent the picture to her friend.
Sienna already ordered her drink which was a glass of white wine and sipped it as she waited for her date. She was a little bit early for it but ignored it and just imagined who could be her lucky date and how they were going to act around her.
'I should really write down of take a picture of this restaurant it's really nice. The setting and everything about it.' She thought quietly to herself as she drank from her glass and eyeing everyone at the restaurant. As she watched people chat to each other and new people walking in she couldn't help but feel anxious about this.
"I can do this" muttering under her breath as confident as possible and started to scratch her hands and then heard a voice at the gates of the event. She thought about looking up from her laps to see the voice but ignored it. Her ears wear twitching ever so slightly as they stood up tall to listen for anything.
Sienna couldn't help but listen to the song that just came on over the speakers as the footsteps got louder and near her direction, she prepared to greet the person.

Ruby was very excited for this and couldn't wait to finally see who this mysterious number 18 was and vice versa for Sienna.
As Ruby made her way to the table, she took a deep breath and took the last step towards the spot and put her scroll in her pocket and cleared her throat. She still felt a little awkward, but this would help her gain the confidence and if she is lucky a love interest and could finally put behind her team from her troubles.
"Hi..I'm number 58! My name is Ru-"Ruby brain stopped and short circuited as she saw the woman smile ever softly and stood up from her chair. She lost all rational thoughts and just ended up sputtering the last part.
"Nice to meet you, I hope toni-"Sienna had the same problem as she finally made contact with the girl in front of her. Her body stood up on its own without her control and she was staring at two brilliant and mesmerizing silver pools of eyes.
All Sienna could do was just stare and get lost in the most beautiful eyes she has ever came across in her lifetime. She was tall but not 6ft type of tall more like Ruby stood at 5ft8, she had sharp features on her face, she had mid length hair that was raven black and at the very tips of her faded into a dark red color, she seemed young but a confident person with her sense of dressing. Sienna could also sense the feeling of an adventurous person and someone who likes to go and do things but at the same time who wouldn't be opposed to cuddling in blankets and eating rubbish and watching TV/movies together. The one thing that stood out for her is the way the young girl radiated innocent and caring aura around her.
The tiger faunus ears were flicking a bit as she scanned every part of the girl and could see the firm, tight and defined muscles of the girl. She couldn't help but let a low rumble escape her throat every so quietly.
'She seems very strong individual and been through a lot of things. She carries herself strongly and radiates kindness. "The name is Sienna and I guess I will be your date for tonight for the whole night" She spoke softly to the younger girl to ensure that she was genuine and wasn't going to bail out on the girl. Said girl was smiling softly and looking at the floor and scuffing her shoe as she heard the sentence and couldn't help but feel the sensation of 'love' was starting in her chest.
"Shall we sit down my love and get to know each other?" Sienna smoothly said with her voice as she took the girls hand and to her seat and smiled as she went around to sit on her side.
"Wow..I feel like I've hit the jackpot" is all what Ruby could get out of her mouth and mind as she blushed at the contact of the woman holding her hand and guiding down to her seat and then smiles softly and Sienna.

I had a blast creating this story and cannot wait to start the next few stories that I have in mind for you guys! Hopefully they will be just as enjoyable as the other stories I have posted for you guys.
Just some background information for the rest of y'all, Ruby teammates have been neglecting her as of recently and so has Team JNPR but when Team CVFY had found this out and hearing her older sister was neglecting her she felt her big sister mode kick in full and wanted to comfort the young leader. Therefore, when Ruby finally realized she couldn't get her crushes because they chose someone else already and she had to respect that.
She then decides to take part of this 'Blind Date' in order to find a partner for herself and especially in a long-term relationship. However, her sister was being annoying about her getting with someone or having a BF/GF and she had never commented on Yang's relationship.
When she met Sienna, she become lost for words and could finally feel the sense of being in loved and being held in some soft and strong arms.
I don't regret making a Ruby X Sienna Khan fanfic and really happy with the start so far!
