Darkness and Light, Into the Chaos!
The Galar region was hosting a Halloween party, organized and hosted by Victor and Nessa.
For the event, Victor was wearing a costume that made him resemble Demitri from the Darkstalkers series. And his wife, Nesaa, was dressed up like Morrigan. Victor blushed at his wife's outfit, licking his lips as he thought of what he was going to do to her once the party was over... probably. "They'll be here soon." Victor informed, having just set our the last of the refreshments.
"I know. I'm looking forward to it." Nessa said, adjusting her top. "I hear Hop is bringing his girlfriend with him too. Hannah, I believe was her name. Nice girl."
"Yeah. I've actually met her. She's a good girl alright. Hop actually asked me for help finding a promise ring for her not too long ago too."
"That was sweet of you." Nessa said with a smile. She looked over and happened to see Hop and Hannah, dressed as Jon Talbain and Felicia respectively, walking over.
"Oh? Looks like we got a wolf and a cat running around!" Victor joked, greeting Hop with a bro-hug.
"Up yours, Victor." Hop laughed. "Good to see you. And you, Nessa."
"You look good, Nessa." Hannah said.
"You too." Nessa said as the two girls shook hands and hugged.
"Shouldn't be surprised you guys made it before us." came a familiar chuckle.
The couples turned to see Leon as Sygna Suit and Sonia as a cosplay of her signature Boltund. "I'm more surprised you didn't arrive last. Let me guess, Sonia drove?"
"Yep." Sonia replied
Leon sighed. "Alright, quit picking on me, please." he requested.
"Well you make it so easy." Everyone turned to see a smirking Raihan dressed as the Green Ranger. "Sup all?" he greeted.
"Good to see you, Raihan, but if you don't mind my asking, where's Klara?" Hop asked.
"Right here."
They turned to her, seeing that she was dressed as Poison from Street Fighter. She looped an arm through Raihan's.
Victor and Hop couldn't help staring a little. "S***. Are any of the girls not gonna be dressed as someone sexy?" Victor wondered, making his wife roll her eyes.
"I can think of one." Marnie muttered, coming into view as Hsien-Ko. Victor was about to ask what she meant when his sister hug-tackled him.
"Are you the Demoman from TF2?" Victor asked dryly, taking in Gloria's costume.
"Aye!" Gloria replied with a Scottish accent before whipping out a glass bottle. "Me bottle of scrumpy!"
"I didn't take you for a drinker." Hop said.
"I'm not. It's just water. I accidentally drank spiked punch once... Never again." Gloria replied in her normal voice. The boys looked at her in confusion regarding the punch incident. "It's a long story..."
"Anyone spikes the drinks, I'll kick their asses." Marnie threatened.
"So, who else can we expect tonight?" Raihan asked curiously.
"Gordie, Bea, and Allister are set to show up." Victor said. "I believe Piers is too."
"He is." Marnie replied, pointing over to her older brother. He was dressed like Lord Raptor. Specifically, his human-like disguise.
"Hello there." Piers said.
"Glad you could show up, rocker boy." Raihan greeted with a wave.
"We're here too." Bea informed, dressed like Street Fighter's Elena and accompanied by E. Honda aka Gordie. She braced herself for her best friend's tackle greeting.
Nessa ran over and pulled her in for a tight hug, even spinning her around. Bea was prepared, but still got thrown off. "It's good to see you too Nessa." Bea said.
"How's it going Gordie?" Raihan asked.
"Going well. And you?" Gordie said.
"Can't complain." Raihan replied.
Victor couldn't help chuckling at his wife's antics. Idly, he wondered who would show up next.
They all noticed a shadow trailing along the ground before Gengar erupted from it with Allister, who was dressed like a Plague Doctor.
"Hi everyone..." he shyly said.
"Allister! You made it!" Bea said happily, running over to hug him. Nessa knew she had "adopted" him as her little brother.
"How adorable."
Everyone turned and saw Melony wearing a glittery silver bunny girl suit with pale gray leggings and a white headband with matching bunny ears.
Everyone went wide-eyed, with Bea covering Allister's eyes.
"M...Mom! What the heck?" Gordie asked, looking traumatized.
"Wasn't... expecting that." Hop admitted.
"Me neither." Gloria added with a somewhat perverted grin. A swift whack over the head made the girl pout. "Big Brother! Marine is being mean to me!" she complained, pointing out her attacker/girlfriend.
"You deserved it." Victor replied. Piers chuckled in amusement. Suddenly, another chuckle was heard. They see Kabu walking over, dressed in an attire that made him resemble a Blaziken, fitting for the Hoenn-born gym leader. "Kabu! Wasn't sure if you were going to be able to come!" Victor greeted with a grin.
"I was originally going to sit this one out, but I decided, what the heck?" Kabu replied. "Besides, there was another reason I came by." he added, looking over at Melony. Gordie caught on very quickly. A part of him wanted to be disgusted, but at the same time, he wasn't COMPLETELY opposed.
Bea did as well and turned to gauge her boyfriend's reaction. He looked very conflicted.
Victor cleared his throat. "Ignoring that last part, welcome one and all to our Halloween Costume Party. Thanks for coming, and dressing up."
"My pleasure." Kabu said.
"Is Avery coming?" Raihan asked.
"He wasn't feeling well. Slowking accidentally got him sick." Klara said.
"That's too bad, I was wanting to see him." Gloria pouted.
"Me too." Allister said.
"Maybe he'll show up. Who knows?" Klara said. "He could suddenly get better. It has been a while."
"Well, we can hope." Gordie shrugged.
"Come on everyone, let's party!" Leon encouraged.
Everyone cheered. The group spread out, some going for the snack table, some sitting around the living room, looking over what games had been pulled out, and some just mingled. Victor chuckled as he caught sight of Bea devouring a cupcake, Gordie was as amused as he was.
"5 bucks says the girls will want us to play Twister with them." Victor chuckled.
As if in cue, Gloria held up the game in question. "Who wants to play Twister?" She shouted. The girls cheered.
Victor decided to poke fun. "You just want an excuse to rub against Marnie." he teased.
"Like you wouldn't do the same with Nessa?" Gloria pouted, blushing slightly.
"Touche." he chuckled. "Well, who's doing this?" he asked.
"I'm in." Nessa called
"Not a good game for my build." Gordie admitted.
"If Gloria's playing, I can do it." Marnie said quietly
"I suppose I could try." Kabu said.
"Count me in." Hop said, Hannah joining him.
"Anyone else?" Victor asked. No one spoke up. "Alright, Gordie, mind spinning the wheel for us?" the champion asked.
"Sure buddy." Gordie chuckled.
About two minutes later, everyone playing was a tangle of limbs. "Gloria, could you get your knee out of my spine?" Hop asked testily.
"Who's touching my boob?" Nessa demanded.
Sonia hid a laugh behind her hand. "I didn't even know I could bend like this." Kabu said, actually impressed with himself.
"Thus must be what earbuds in pockets feel like." Hannah joked.
"Left foot blue." Gordie informed, trying not to laugh.
Hannah stretched her foot out. Nessa did the same, the two women wobbling as they almost fell. Gloria giggled at her brother's sigh of relief as she moved her foot to another spot.
"This is gonna come crashing down any second." Bea stated.
Gordie spun the wheel again. "Right hand Yellow"
Victor cursed. His right hand was nowhere near yellow. But still, he reached between Marnie's legs and past Hannah's neck and managed to reach it.
"Hey bro, don't go copping a feel on my girl." Gloria warned.
"I'm married." Victor said, trying to hold out
"And unlike Opal's little apprentice, he wouldn't even think of cheating." Nessa added.
"Oh come on, even I don't think he's that bad." Hop defended.
"Who isn't?" Gordie looks over and sees Bede, clad in what can only be described as a wizard costume modeled after Hatterene. And with him was Avery, dressed up like Merlin from Smite.
"Speak of the devil " Sonia muttered, shocked by his timing.
Bede sighed. "It seems my reputation for arrogance still hasn't left me." he muttered.
"If it makes you feel any better, it was Hop that defended you." Bea informed quietly.
Bede was taken back. "H-Hop?"
"Hey, Opal has straightened you out considerably." Hop added. "Not to mention, you're more lively than when you were with the chairman."
"Well, if Hop's ok with him." Leon shrugged.
"Now... what the devil is going on here?" Avery asked, looking at at tangled mess before him.
"Twister." everyone replied at once.
While they were still on the twister mat, Kabu's hand slipped and sent everyone tumbling down. "Whoops." the fire type specialist said lamely.
"Oh, thank Heaven..." Victor said. "I'm SO gonna feel this in the morning."
"Oh, this is nothing." Nessa said.
"Aww. I wanted to win." Gloria pouted. A kiss from Marnie made the pout vanish though, a sunny smile on her face instead. "So... What should we play next?"
As they thought, Hop and Victor exchanged looks, smirking devilishly. "Excuse me for a moment." Victor said as he and Hop went to another room.
Once there, they closed the door. "The stuff here?" Victor whispered.
"Yep. I made sure to stash some here before the party."
Hop went to the closet and got several toy guns out. And they were the good stuff too.
Nessa saw them enter the room. "We may want to hide." she informed.
"Don't tell me." Leon groaned.
"Is that where they keep the...?" Gloria asked nervously. Nessa nodded. "SCATTER!"
"Wait, wha-"
Suddenly, the two came out with the guns. "RATTLE 'EM!"
"GOT IT! GEGEGEGEGEGE!" They began to open fire at everyone.
"Crap, they grabbed the drums." Gloria hissed from the recliner she had pulled Marnie behind.
"This is so not fair, we don't even have our own guns!" Leon complained from behind the couch he, Sonia, and Nessa were using as cover.
"Sonia... there's an extra stash in the guest room. We'll take the fight to them." Nessa said.
"Got it." Sonia said. The two snuck to the room, avoiding the foam darts.
"Marnie, where's my demobag?" Gloria asked urgently. The punk girl looked around before spotting it and crawling over to haul it back. Once the brunette girl had it, she unzipped it and handed her girlfriend a pair of twelve shot pistols. "Nessa a went to get some gear, let's distract my idiot brother." she suggested.
The second she popped up, they turned to her. "SACRIFICE HER!" Hop yelled as they fired away. "SACRIFICE HER TO THE GODS!"
"Only one getting sacrificed is you!" Gloria shouted back, firing at the two boys twice each before ducking back down,Arnie doing the same. "Aim for their bodies? You'll have a better chance of hitting them!" she ordered.
"They've clearly done this before." Kabu noted from the kitchen doorway he had fled through with Klara.
"All the time." Leon said with an amused smirk. "Say, uh... Kabu? Man to man... what's with you and Melony?"
Before Kabu could answer, Nessa had returned with weapons similar to her husband's. A good eight of them in her arms. "Sonia's bringing the extra ammo. Gear up." she ordered. A few of the guests got the guns and readied for battle. Victor and Hop went wide-eyed, but that got them more excited.
A couple darts pegged Hop in his side and Marnie let out a whoop of joy. Sonia came soon after with the ammo before grabbing a weapon.
Seeing the rest geared up, Gloria called out, "Blood makes the grass grow?"
"WE MAKE THE BLOOD FLOW!" Leon, Sonia, and Nessa called back, and an all out brawl began. It was a very fun and chaotic battle. It ended about an hour later with everyone laughing in the front lawn. How they had all gotten there was anyone's guess.
"Ok... THAT was fun." Hop said, panting hard as Hannah laid on him.
"Next time, please give us fair warning." Klara requested.
"I'm lucky I planned ahead." Gloria giggled. "I know my bro too well."
"And I know my husband enough to have a plan of my own." Nessa said.
"That was quite a lively event." Kabu said.
"You certainly caught me by surprise, my little siren." Victor chuckled.
"Holy shit, I'm tired." Bea groaned. "How am I tired?"
"Last time I saw you this tired was when you and I-"
"Gordie!" Bea exclaimed, her face burning red. He sheepishly apologized.
"My word... I feel years younger." Kabu said.
"Me too." Klara admitted. "But I think we need something a little less... energetic for our next activity."
"Seconded." Bede sighed.
"Wanna watch a movie?" Victor asked.
"Nightmare before Christmas!" Marnie immediately suggested, blushing as she was suddenly the center of attention.
"I like that movie." Allister said.
"Same here." Piers added.
"If course you do, you're the reason it's my favorite." Marnie muttered as they all went inside. So they all got snacks as Victor and Nessa got the movie started.
Bea was practically bouncing. "Oh, this is my first time seeing this movie, I'm so excited!" she muttered, a giddy grin in her face.
Gordie smirked. "It's a bit freaky, but it has its charm."
"You bet your ass it does!" Marnie declared as the opening song started. "This is Halloween! This is Halloween!" she sang along. Piers joined her, as did Allister. Gloria cheered as Jack appeared.
In this town we call home. Everybody hail to the Pumpkin song!" Marnie sang happily.
The song had reached its end as Jack rose up from the fountain. The movie progressed, Marnie and occasionally Piers singing along with the musical numbers. "So the boogyman is a giant potato sack?" Bea muttered as Oogie was introduced.
"A giant burlap sack full of bugs, spiders, and a snake." Piers said. Bea gulped.
"I see..." she said, suddenly feeling sick to her stomach as that image entered her head.
"But he's the only real nasty guy in Halloween Town." Marnie added.
"I can see why... and how."
The rest chuckled, enjoying the movie. Closer to the end, Bea gasped as Jack was shot out of the sky. "Oh no!" Gordie didn't see it coming either. Both sighed in relief as Jack began singing again, seemingly fine despite being shot at. Later, Jack was about to confront Oogie.
"Kick his ass, Jack!" Hop cheered.
"Show that walking infestation who the King is!" Victor added. The battle was quite a fun one to watch.
"How dare you treat my friends so shamefully!" Jack (and Marnie) said as he ended up yanking a string from Oogie and putting it on the giant claw machine, effectively putting him out of commission. The bugs fell into a burning cauldron, but one tried crawling away, only for Santa to squash him. Kabu couldn't help laughing along with Leon.
"You find that funny too, huh?" Piers asked.
"Sorry. It's just, the high-pitched voice mixed with Santa just squashing him was too good." Leon said.
"Agreed." Kabu chuckled
Soon, the movie ended. "That was amazing!" Bea shouted before she could stop herself, blushing as everyone chuckled at her outburst. Gordie snuggled her, finding her adorable.
Nessa giggled. "Glad to know you enjoyed it, Bea." she said, making the white haired gym leader blush further.
"That was quite an enjoyable movie, I must say." Bede said.
"I agree." Melony said.
"And Jack's attempt to take over Christmas was kinda funny." Gloria giggled. "Too bad it failed so epically."
"But now he's got some great new ideas for next Halloween." Marnie added.
"That is true." Piers said.
"That's one of the best feelings when coming out of a slump. That sudden burst of inspiration." Klara said.
"Amen to that!" Sonia laughed.
"I liked it more than I thought I would." Avery admitted
"Just be warned, every Halloween and Christmas, Marnie begs to watch it." Piers chuckled.
"Piers!" Marnie huffed, only calming when Gloria hugged her.
"I never said I objected." Piers said.
Marnie ignored him in favor of cuddling with her girlfriend. It was Sonia who spoke next. "Well, wonderful movie aside, shall we watch another one or are people ready for another game."
"Truth or Dare!" Gloria called.
"Hell no!" Hop, Marnie and Victor all screamed.
"What's that?" Bea asked.
"Basically, if you choose dare, you gotta do what they tell you. If truth, then you have to answer their question truthfully." Gordie explained.
"But Gloria gives the worst if each, and you can't get her back cause she's totally shameless." Victor added dryly.
"She can't eat anything spicy to save her life." Marnie said.
"Not true!" Gloria defended a little too quickly. Everyone grinned at her and she gulped.
Kabu especially. "Is that so?"
Marnie grinned mischievously and nodded. "Practically used a Flamethrower attack last time she tried."
"That's not fair! You eat ghost peppers raw and are fine!" Gloria protested.
"And darn proud of it." Marnie said.
"She's like a woodchipper for them." Piers joked.
"I still don't think it's a good idea." Victor said.
"Aw, come on mate. We've got her weakness now!" Hop replied. The champion sighed. "Victor's in!"
"I'm game." Gordie said. Bea joined too. Sonia and Leon, as well as Raihan and Klara, decided to join. Even Kabu joined in.
"Guess we're doing this." Victor muttered, grabbing the soda bottle they had emptied. "Alright, everyone in a circle. We'll go counter-clockwise. Who wants to start?"
"Me. I wanna get a better idea on the game." Bea said.
"Alright, spin the bottle and ask who it points at Truth or Dare." Victor instructed. She nods and spun the bottle and watched it spin. It slowed around Gloria, but went to Leon instead.
"Alright Leon, so truth or dare?"
"Dare. I'm no coward."
"Alright... Let's see..." Bea said, pondering what to dare him to do. "I dare you to... sucker punch Charizard."
Leon balked. "S-sucker punch?" he stammered. "Isn't that a bit extreme?"
"Even I wouldn't go that far." Gloria muttered. "Talk about going for the throat."
"That's how the game goes, right?" Bea asked innocently. "So start punching, cape boy."
"You're already having too much fun with this game, aren't you?" Gordie asked with an amused look on his face.
Leon bit his lip. On the one hand, he didn't want to chicken out on the first dare...on the other, this was his partner...who was a dragon in all but typing. This would probably hurt him more than anything now that he thought about it. "Charizard attacks me, I'm using you as a shield." he sighed, grabbing his pokeball.
"No you're not." Bea said.
Leon sent Charizard out. Immediately afterwards, he threw a nasty right hook across his face. Charizard snarled and hit back with a Thunder Punch, sending Leon flying back. Charizard then turned his back to everyone and sat down, crossing his arms. Bede sent his Rapidash out to heal Leon with Healing Pulse. Charizard took stock of the room and realized what was going on. Still, he huffed and ignored everyone. "I don't know what hurts worse, my hand or my chest." Leon groaned as he sat up. Then Heal Pulse took effect and the former champ went over to apologize to his partner.
"While Leon's doing that." Hannah said, grabbing the bottle and spinning it.
Hannah spun the bottle, and it landed on Gordie. "Leon, it landed on Gordie."
"Uh... truth or dare?" Leon asked, looking over.
"Truth." Gordie replied.
"What made you fall for Bea?"
Gordie tilted his head back, humming in thought. "Can't pick any one thing, honestly. On top of being beautiful, she's easily the most driven and hardworking person in Galar," everyone nodded at the assessment, "not to mention how absolutely cute she gets when she gets some sweets." Bea blushed.
"Hard to argue with that." Victor replied.
"Anyway..." Bea said almost pleadingly.
"Alright, alright." Gordie chuckled, spinning the bottle next.
It landed on Kabu. "Truth or dare?"
"Dare. Bring it on, young one." Kabu said confidently.
Gordie thought. Then he grinned as he pulled out his phone. "I dare you to dance to the song I play," he said.
"Doesn't sound too difficult." Kabu shrugged.
"In your underwear." The rock type gym leader finished.
He sprang up and stripped down to his boxers. "Bring it." Melony whistled. For a guy of his age, he was very well-built.
Gordie put on Roar by Katie Perry. "Dance, old timer!" He said with a smirk. And dance he did. Gordie did NOT expect to see Kabu so fired up for this. Melony was loving it herself.
Everyone cheered and whistled until the song was over and he got dressed and sat back down. "Damn, Grandpa's got some moves." Bede chuckled, everyone looking at him in shock. "What?" he asked.
"Helps to take care of yourself." Kabu said before spinning the bottle. It landed on Melony. "Melony, truth or dare?"
"Truth." she said after a second of consideration.
Kabu thought it over. He wanted to ask about her husband, as no one ever really saw him. But he figured it was a touchy topic, so he decided not to.
Klara tilted her head curiously, waiting for Kabu's question. "Well?" she prompted.
"Oh... sorry... Just got lost in thought... But... do you approve of Bea dating your son?"
Klara chuckled. "I approve wholeheartedly. Bea is a good girl." she replied
"Thank you." Bea said. "You're pretty good too. Your younger kids are too. By the way, where are they? Your husband watching them?"
She suddenly went quiet. "No..."
"Oh." Bea said. But when she saw her face and heard her tone, her attitude changed too. "Oh..."
"However, Milo agreed to take care of them for the night." Melony said, not wanting to dampen the mood of the party.
"Well that's good." Bea said nervously, thankful that Klara reached to spin the bottle and continue the game.
It landed on Hannah. "Truth or Dare, darling?" she asked.
"Dare." Hannah said.
"Alright. I dare you to... eat this berry with a straight face."
Melony had pulled out one of the most sour berries in the world. A Rowap berry. Hannah shuddered. Even a tiny NIBBLE made her nearly collapse. And given Melony's menacing aura, she wants her to eat THE WHOLE THING. Hop thought quickly, leaning next to his girlfriend's ear and whispering something that made her light up. At her questioning look, he nodded and she snatched the berry.
"Here we go." Hannah said.
"You can do it, babe." Hop encouraged.
"What did you promise?" Victor asked.
"Secret."
She took a deep breath before gobbling the berry up. Immediately, Hannah's face began to twist and pucker from the berry's sourness. Melony couldn't help giggling. "Not bad, Hannah. You must have really wanted whatever Hop had offered."
Hannah made a muffled sound in anger at her. Soon enough, her dare was complete and she had eaten the entire berry. Her face returned to normal. Everyone clapped and whistled as Hannah spun the bottle.
It soon landed on Victor. "Truth or dare?"
"Truth."
"Who would you say was your biggest challenge in the Gym Challenge?"
Victor thought hard. "Probably Milo." he said after a while. "It was me and Tears back then, plus a couple others. So I was at a bit of a disadvantage."
"But I was the only one you had to challenge twice." Nessa pointed out.
"True, but that was more because I couldn't get over how beautiful you looked in battle. I was distracted."
Nessa giggled. "I guess that's true." She said before spinning the bottle, it now landing on Marnie.
"Dare." Marnie declared before Nessa could even ask.
"Wanna look good for your girl, huh?" Piers teased. Marnie(very maturely) tongue out at him.
"I dare you to let Gloria tickle your weak spot for thirty seconds."
Marnie gulped. Her weak spot was an odd one; it was on the back of her neck. Gloria gave a catlike grin as she crawled towards her girlfriend. "Brace yourself, cutie." She whispered as someone set a timer.
Marnie shuddered before Gloria got to work, tickling the back of her neck. Marnie's face went bright red as she laughed.
"Whwhwhwhy Did you tell her?" Marnie laughed as she tried to glare at her brother.
"Victor told me, actually." Piers admitted.
"Yep." Victor replied casually. "Ok, this is more fun than I thought."
Soon, the timer went off, saving Marnie from more tickle torture. She then spun the bottle. It landed on Nessa. "Truth or Dare, Aquagirl?" Marnie asked.
"Dare."
Marnie grinned, making Nessa a little worried. "I dare you to make out with Bea...while grinding against Victor." she challenged.
"Fuck, that is hot." Victor whispered, hoping no one could hear him. Nessa went bright red, as did Bea.
"I see Gloria's depravity has begun to rub off on you." Bede sighed.
"You have no idea." Gloria said with a perverted giggle.
"Don't worry Nessa. I'll make it up to you later." Victor said.
"As will I with you, Bea." Gordie said.
"You both just want to see us make out." Nessa accused playfully.
"Me, maybe. I dunno about him." Victor said. Gordie shook his head no.
"Not my cup of tea." he denied.
Nessa sighed. "Bea? Only if you're ok with it."
Marnie nodded. "If you're not, I can think of something else." she offered
"A dare is a dare..."
"Alright, come here then." Nessa sighed, sitting on her husband's lap as she waited for her best friend. Bea moved in close too. It took another minute for Bea to gather the courage needed, but eventually she started the make out session. Nessa moaned softly. Bea was good! She didn't even realize she had started grinding against her husband. Victor moaned as he felt his wife grind on him. Gloria squirmed a little, unable to look away. The two gym leaders continued for a full minute before coming up for air. "Damn. Gordie, you lucky bastard." she huffed, looking at her husband and seeing his almost pained look. "You ok?" she asked.
Victor nodded. "I'm fine..."
Nessa smirked and leaned next to his ear. "Later, I promise." she whispered huskily. It took all of Victor's self control not to just rip off her costume and have his way with her right there in front of everyone.
Nessa spun the bottle, and it landed on Hop. Hop gulped, knowing how devious Nessa could be. "I'll pick Truth." he said nervously after Nessa asked.
"I heard a Grapoloct kept giving you grief. Did you guys ever deal with it?"
"No, still kicking." Hop growled. "Haven't seen it in a couple weeks though. Maybe it finally got the hint?"
"I think I heard someone caught it." Hannah said. "I just hope she knows what she's getting herself into..."
"Who knows? Maybe she's into that." Gordie shrugged.
