"Mhhh, Miranda, this is heavenly," Andy said as she put another fork with potatoes in her mouth.

"Right? Mom's such a great chef." Caroline said.

"Why thank you darling," Miranda said and smiled softly at her daughter.

"You've spoiled me today. Thank you so much. I loved all the surprises and presents." Andy said and looked at the three women.

"You're welcome, Andy," Cassidy replied and Caroline smiled and nodded her agreement. They glanced at each other before they both stood up and hugged Andy, who was just clearing her plate.

"Aww, you guys. I've loved today but do you know what I love the most?" The girls looked up at her and shook their heads no. "This right here. I'm not alone and I can hug you. I miss hugging people and showing affection so this has been the best. Thank you, girls."

The twins moved in once more and squeezed her tightly. "Aww, that's sweet. Mom said the same the other day. So maybe you two should hug more often." Caroline said, letting go of Andy and winking at her sister who immediately knew what she was doing.

"Yes, you really should. Mom, Andy's the best hugger." Cassidy insisted.

Andy looked over to Miranda who looked unsure but when Andy opened her arms she knew she had to. She got up and smirked at her girls. She recognised they were planning something, but she wasn't sure what. She decided to play along and stepped over to hug Andy.

"You better watch out, Andrea, my daughters are planning something, I'm just not sure what yet," Miranda whispered in her ear as they hugged.

"Well, if this is the result then I don't mind," Andy admitted.

Miranda smirked at her as she pulled back. "Me either, that was rather nice," she said and turned to her girls. "Now ladies, it's time to take your showers and get ready for bed."

They both sighed. "Okay, Mom." They said and ran from the room and clattered noisily up the stairs.

"I wish they wouldn't run up the stairs like a herd of elephants," Miranda said as she cleared the rest of the table.

Andy chuckled at that and started to load the dishwasher. "Thank you for today and uhm...I meant what I said. I enjoyed our little hug. I miss hugging someone. I haven't had a chance to do that in so long and uhm...I'm sorry, it's silly." Andy sighed and turned away to put the rest of the dishes away. She didn't want Miranda to see her cry over something that must look like weakness in her eyes.

Suddenly she felt a hand on her shoulder. "Come here, darling," Miranda said and pulled her back in her arms. "We all need affection there's no reason to be ashamed of that," she whispered and tried to calm her assistant. "Now, no more crying. If you need a hug I'm here, alright? Because believe it or not I need them too every once in a while." Miranda stated.

"Thank you, Miranda. You're a great hugger and I have to say, your hair smells wonderful." Andy said, nuzzling behind Miranda's ear to smell her shampoo. Miranda shivered at the gentle touch and her words which made Andy rub her arms. "Thank you for your offer. It's not only that I miss, you know. There's a lot more. Cuddling for example. I'm just glad I'm allowed to stay with you."

"You're welcome Andrea," Miranda muttered.

"Would you like to watch a movie with me? I promise it's my last wish for my birthday." Andy asked boldly.

"Yes, of course. It's been a while since I've watched a movie in peace. Let's just say goodnight to the girls first." Miranda replied.

Andy kissed the girls goodnight before heading into her bedroom to change into something more comfortable. Eventually stepping into the entertainment room, she looked through the movies. She took one out and popped it into the BluRay player. She snuggled onto the couch and was settling a blanket around her when Miranda appeared.

"So what are we watching?" Miranda asked as she sat at the opposite end of the couch to Andy.

"Pretty woman. I love it. It's such a classic." Andy smiled.

"Julia Robert's, I see. She's magnificent. I should ask her to interview for the magazine. Did you know she also has twins?" Miranda asked.

"No, I didn't know that," Andy answered. Both women grew silent when the movie started. Andy broke the silence. "Wanna settle under the blanket?" She asked. Miranda nodded and moved closer and Andy put the blanket over their legs.

During the movie, Andy put her hands under the covers too and rubbed them. Miranda saw and decided to be bold. She slid closer and put her hands under the blanket as well. She grabbed Andy's hands with hers and rubbed them. "Better?" She asked. Andy only nodded not trusting her voice after Miranda had been so brave.

Miranda gathered her courage and slid her hand around her shoulder and pulled her closer. "Here, since you miss cuddles." She said. They held each other while the movie played and Andy found herself growing emotional. "Andrea, are you crying?" Miranda asked after a while.

"I can't help it, I just love how he picks her up with the flowers," Andy said and sniffled. "It's so romantic." Miranda pulled her closer until the credits of the movies rolled. "I don't want to get up I'm finally warm and snuggled up," Andy mumbled.

Miranda had her eyes closed as she smirked. "Me either, let's just stay like this for a bit longer," she said.

"M'kay," Andy mumbled sleepily.

It didn't take long for them both to fall asleep, all cuddled up.

The next morning the twins got up and saw it was already after nine. They were happy it was the weekend which meant no online classes and usually not so much work for their Mom. Usually, she was up by that time so they made their way downstairs only to find an empty kitchen.

"Hmmm, You think mom is still asleep?" Caroline asked.

"I don't know Care, that would be odd. Let's check." Cassidy responded.

They walked upstairs only to find their mom's bedroom empty. Looking at each other and shrugging, they tried Andy's bedroom but her bed was also untouched.

"Cass, this is scary. Where are they?" Caroline demanded.

"I don't know. Let's check the entertainment room, they wanted to watch a movie last night." Cassidy responded.

"No way they are in there," Caroline said.

Cassidy stood by the door and nodded. "Way! Found them." She whispered. They looked at their mom and Andy all snuggled up at the couch in awe.

"Let's join them," Caroline said and pulled Cassidy inside. Caroline snuggled against Andy and Cassidy against her mother. They both wiggled themselves under the blanket.

As Andy slowly opened her eyes for a second she realised she was in Miranda's arms. She grew tense for a minute before Miranda turned towards her and slid her hands all over Andy.

"I hope this isn't a dream, I wanna wake up like this every day," Andy mumbled and the girls giggled.

"Me too," Miranda answered and held on to Andy and her girls tightly. "This is the best feeling ever." She sighed contently.

"Awww, me too, and look, we finally have each a person to cuddle silly," Caroline declared.

Cassidy chuckled. "Come on Sis, they're still sleepy, we will start breakfast 'cause I'm hungry."

"So am I." Caroline admitted.

They pulled away, finished with the cuddling of their Mom and Andy, for now.

"Make sure you start the coffee maker girls," Andy mumbled.

"Yes, Andy." The twins chirped in unison.

Miranda chuckled lightly and Andy opened her eyes to look down into crystal clear ones. "It was great waking up in your arms," Andy whispered.

"Only a few people would say that about their boss," Miranda announced and they both chuckled. "I enjoyed waking up like this as well, Andrea. But let's join the girls before they burn down the house." She said.

"Mhhh nooo, not yet, please," Andy begged as Miranda tried to get up.

"We will revisit this...uhm...situation," Miranda said and put her index finger on her nose.

"Promise?" Andy asked with big eyes.

"Priestly promise," Miranda said and kissed her softly on the lips. She quickly got up and left to join her girls leaving a very stunned Andy behind.
